Abstract

This study is aimed to identified of important managerial competencies of middle managers as chairperson of the policy drafter through integrity, cooperation, communication, and goal orientation. This research was conducted qualitatively using the phenomenology method approach. Data was collected through questionnaires, observations, and in-depth interviews from selected respondents. The result shows a level of mastery, and most respondents agreed upon integrity (50%), cooperation (45%), communication (50%), and goal orientation (50%) are important managerial competencies as chairperson. The result of this study is useful for public service middle managers

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the training effectiveness on GITC by applying the four levels Kirkpatrick model consisting of reaction, learning, behavior & Results. This study is cross sectional, primary data was collected through interviews from different batches representing different levels of the Kirkpatrick model. Effectiveness of training at the different levels was being evaluated through construct/theme developed on the basis of literature review. For level one evaluation interviews were conducted from employees who had recently completed their training; for level 2,3&4 the respondents, who had completed same training about 3 months, 6 months and year earlier respectively. The results indicated that reaction of the participants were positive for training except duration was too short, secondly they have applied skills & knowledge which they had learnt from training. A positive consequence of the training is that most of the participants got promoted from their current designation with the improvement in their pay scales. Thus, the soft skills trainings were effective with the participants desiring more opportunities to attend soft skills training session at least quarterly basis, to further improve their skills and enhance their knowledge.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to observe the level of happiness enmjoyed among senio high students related to current school practices and national learning system regulated by the authorities.The world of learning has changed when school grading has been becoming as one of the most obligating and influencing source of educational success in within the institution. The historical myth of study with fun and enjoyment has gradually but sure moved to the sense of study hard for the sake of the future by consuming most of the daytime hours.Nevertheless, this is when the problem of lack of students’ quality time commences. Students do not realize that they are moving to the unsatisfied part of the learning life, as so many times they are also intrigued with and by computers; when unconsiously they lose the lovely ones and the world outside.This study attempts to show how senior high students can achieve the so-called learning life balance to regain their mental peace by more contacts and relationships with families, the environment, and the world around. This is how the world of educating has to recognize and understand the value of happiness of a senior high student. This is how the regulator has to manage the system to flow to the building and the establishment of the well-being of nowadays students.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the training management of Riau Island Province’s Training Center. This study used a qualitative approach, which uses a model discrepancy which includes four stages: (1) design, (2) installation, (3) process, and (4) product. In the data collection is done through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation study. Interviews were conducted to business and policy makers at the Training Center of Riau Islands province, trainees and other stakeholders. The results of this study concluded that based on the discrepancy evaluation, the implementation of the training management of Riau Island Province’s Training Center, although in terms of policy implementation designation (design) and the preparation of implementation (installation) is quite good, but the execution (process) can not run properly so that the achievements results (product) is not satisfactory. Abstract

This study aims to find out and get an idea of character education management (a case study in the Elementary School Penyengat Island). This study used a qualitative approach to the method used in the form of case studies. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data sources, where researchers use people and documents as data sources. Data collection techniques used in the research were observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques in the study include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion / verification. Based on the research results as follows: 1) For the planning of moral education in primary schools Penyengat Island has gone well from the aspect of curriculum planning, teaching staff and infrastructure. 2) For the organization of moral education in Penyengat has gone well from the aspects of organizing the curriculum, teaching staff and infrastructure. 3) For the implementation of character education in Penyengat been running with good views of aspects of the implementation of the curriculum, teaching staff, facilities, and student character education in public primary schools Penyengat Island. 4) For the supervision of moral education in Penyengat been running with good views of oversight of curriculum, teaching staff, facilities, and student character education in public primary schools Penyengat Island. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Tunas Bangsa Sunter Jakarta Utara. Adapun tujuan  dari penelitian ini adalah memperoleh pemahaman mendalam Manajemen Pendidikan Karakter SMP Tunas Bangsa. Data yang dikumpulkan dari responden melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber, teori dan waktu. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah reduksi data dan display data. Hasil temuan penelitian meliputi: (1) Perencanaan Pendidikan Karakter di Sekolah Tunas Bangsa, yang selaras dengan visi dan misi, dengan berfokus kepada karakter ketaatan dan penuh perhatian, Kepala sekolah dan timnya membuat program sekolah berbasis karakter; (2) Pelaksanaan Program Pendidikan Karakter, semua program sekolah tersebut disosialisasikan melalui staff meeting, pekan informasi pembelajaran dengan orang tua siswa dan seluruh siswa di awal tahuan pembelajaran; 3) Pengawasan pelaksanaan Program Pendidikan Karakter, untuk memastikan semua kegiatan sekolah berjalan sesuai dengan perencanaan, visi, misi yang ada. Kepala sekolah harus memastikan dengan observasi kepada siswa dan guru dengan standard performa. Temuan mengarah pada rekomendasi untuk menerapkan pendidikan karakter dapat membentuk siswa untuk memiliki kepemimpinan, kemandirian, perilaku yang baik, tanggung jawab sendiri, rasa yang baik di masyarakat, kreatif dan inovatif, ini semua termasuk kepala sekolah, guru dan juga orang tua untuk terlibat agar dapat terlaksana dan tujuan tercapai.Kata kunci: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengawasan EDUCATION MANAGEMENT IN FORMING STUDENT CHARACTER OF SMP TUNAS BANGSA SUNTERAbstractThis research was carried out at SMP Tunas Bangsa Sunter, North Jakarta. Data collected from respondents through interviews, observation and documentation studies.The data were collected through participant observation using interview, observation, document study and recording. The data analysis and interpretation indicates that: 1)Planning of Character Education  in Tunas Bangsa School based on vision and mission, focusing in Attentive and obedience character, the headmaster and team made school programs based on character. 2) Actuating of Character Education, all school programs have to socialized through Staff Meeting, Information Day with parents and of course to all students in the new semester. 3) Controlling of Character Education to improve that all school activities would done according to planning, vision and mission. Headmaster has to ensure by observe teachers, students with standard of performance. The finding lead to the recommendation to apply character education could formed students to have leadership, independence, good behavior, self responsible, good sense in community, creative and innovative, these all includes headmaster, teachers and also parents to contribute their effort to make it happen.Keywords: planning, actuating, controlling

Abstract

The Program for Strengthening National Values was established by Presidential Regulation Number 67 of 2007 addressing Lemhannas RI. This study's goal is to assess Lemhannas RI's national values building initiative from 2007. This research used the CIPP program assessment paradigm and included observation, interviews, questionnaires, Focus Group Discussions, and document examination. The research included 220 national values strengthening graduates, 4 (four) RI Lemhannas officials who implemented the stabilization program, 3 (three) Lemhannas RI Professional Staff who became resource people for the stabilization program, and 10 (ten) alumni. The findings of the context assessment indicated that Lemhannas RI's implementation of the Program for the Consolidation of National Values had a strong legal foundation, clear and realistic aims and objectives, and significant community needs. For example, inadequate cost support, inadequate curriculum support, inadequate human resource (HR) support, inadequate infrastructure support, and inadequate recruitment participants were found in the Input evaluation. The program may be carried out as intended, and the process monitoring and assessment can offer an overview of quantifiable outcomes. The effect of the strengthening program on alumni is excellent, as shown by changes in attitudes, motives, and actions.

Abstract

Inclusive collaboration referred to in this study is a planned and joint effort between education stakeholders to create a safe, comfortable and productive atmosphere in the student learning process. Along the way, the problem that most often arises is bullying. Regarding these problems, the purpose of this research is to examine in the literature how to build the school ecosystem of the future. To get the data of this research, the writer conducted a library approach. The data collected leads to discussions about educational issues, the influence faktors of inclusive collaboration, and how to build an inclusive partnership between schools and students, schools with parents, and schools with the environment.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) memperoleh gambaran ketepatan kurikulum dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan, (2) menganalisis keberhasilan, kelemahan dan masalah ketepatan dan penggunaan kurikulum dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan dan, (3)  menyampaikan rekomendasi tentang langkah-langkah terintegrasi yang dapat dilakukan untuk perbaikan  kurikulum sesuai kebutuhan  pendidikan di masa mendatang.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan dengan kajian pustaka dengan berbagai sumber data baik berupa buku atau artikel yang berhubungan dengan tema penelitian.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji bagaimana transdisiplinaritas keilmuan dalam pendidikan dapat memberikan khasanah baru dalam orientasi atau paradigma baru dalam pedagogik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengkaji urgensi pendekatan transdisiplinitas iptek, agama, dan paradigma baru dalam pedagogik. Metode dalam penelitian ini termasuk kedalam jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan sumber data yang digunakan adalah berbagai literatur seperti jurnal serta buku-buku yang relevan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah dari adanya berbagai proses dalam pendidikan berbasis trandisiplinaritas keilmuan dari mulai mengkolaborasikan pembelajaran dengan iptek serta agama kedalam proses pendidikan yang ada, maka hal ini akan memberikan dampak yang baik terutama dalam pengembangan keilmuan serta bagaimana proses pengajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru kepada para peserta didik di sekolah dengan menggabungkan transdisipliner di dalam proses pendidikan sehingga hal ini akan memberikan dampak bahwa orientasi pendidikan tidak hanya berkiblat kepada kompetensi saja melainkan bagaimana transdisiplinaritas akan memberikan pengaruh dalam meningkatkan keilmuan serta karakter dan moral dari peserta didik itu sendiri.
