Abstract

Since the Covid-19 pandemic has spread in Indonesia, it has greatly affected every field of work, including education. The government issued a new policy regarding distance learning, where distance learning is one solution to prevent the acceleration of the spread of Covid-19. However, distance learning has several drawbacks and is considered less effective because students or teachers have to adapt in a short time. This causes concern for students to fall behind in learning, because online learning can show some shortcomings, such as students not being focused on learning, being lazy to take part in learning, increasing assignments, and so on. The existence of an emergency curriculum is expected to be a solution to this problem. So, the author formulated the purpose of writing this research article is to determine the effectiveness of the emergency curriculum as a solution for students' backwardness in learning during the pandemic. The type of research used in this articel is a literature review and research data were collected based on documentation data collection techniques. The results of the research are that during the pandemic, the potential for students to fall behind is increasingly evident. Especially the provinces located on the island of Papua, the Nusa Tenggara Islands, and the Maluku Islands. Implementation of the emergency curriculum can be used as a solution because this curriculum makes regulations by reducing the basic competencies of each subject. The conclusion is that the emergency curriculum gives educational institutions the freedom to design and implement the learning process based on the conditions of each school. The emergency curriculum is effective to be applied at all levels of education. The author suggests that with this emergency curriculum, educational institutions or educators can make good use of this curriculum and students will not experience learning backwards.

Abstract

This paper describes a conceptual proposal for building educational competitiveness based on pedagogic competence. It is undeniable that the role of education in advancing the life of society and the nation has a very vital role. A good educational system and activity will determine the quality of the nation and society, both locally and globally. Therefore, a conceptual construction is needed in an effort to build educational competitiveness. Through a qualitative approach, descriptive analysis method with literature study as a data collection tool. The collected data is then analyzed descriptively to be presented comprehensively. From the results of the study, it was found that a teacher or educator needs to have pedagogical competence that can be the basis for producing quality graduates. The pedagogic competence mastered by an educator provides a direction to improve the quality of education. The principles of relevance, flexibility, and continuity, provides a foundation for increasing competitiveness in the world of education

Abstract

The main reason behind the school literacy movement is the lack of interest in reading among students and the need for reading materials and supporting facilities that are less diverse. This study aims to know the effectiveness of school literacy programs at the elementary school level. The method used is descriptive with literature study. The references used by researchers are in the form of textbooks, documents, and research papers related to the research topic. Again, the researcher critically studies, debates, and argues based on facts. The conclusions and ideas mentioned are then compared and reviewed carefully and thoroughly. This study highlights the need to increase school literacy in government programs, especially in elementary schools. To optimize the program, along with the time of implementation, it is better not to run at the same time as school hours, increase student interest by providing interesting books, socializing the program, and being supervised by the school and local government. Commitment and cooperation must be built between various stakeholders such as schools, students, parents, community, local or national government. The synergy of various parties is important to be able to boost obstacles and all problems in implementing school literacy.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a strategic model of the influence of career development, employee involvement, and employee engagement on the turnover intention at Fajar Surya. Quantitative methods are used in this study. The sample consists of 150 employees at the managerial level. The sample criteria in this study were permanent employees who had worked for at least 1 year. Data collection techniques by distributing questionnaires directly to all samples. Analysis of the data used is SEM-PLS. Empirical results show that career development and employee engagement have a negative and significant effect on turnover intention; with the greatest influence on career development variables. However, employee involvement has no significant effect on turnover intention. While career development has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement. However, employee involvement has no significant effect on employee engagement. Other results show that career development mediated by employee engagement has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention; However, employee involvement mediated by employee engagement has no significant effect on turnover intention. These empirical results show that the mediating role of employee engagement in career development can reduce employee intention to change jobs. This research resulted in a novelty of the turnover intention strategy model at Fajar Surya. Keywords: Turnover Intention; Career Development; Employee Involvement; Employee Engagement.

Abstract

The Program for Strengthening National Values was established by Presidential Regulation Number 67 of 2007 addressing Lemhannas RI. This study's goal is to assess Lemhannas RI's national values building initiative from 2007. This research used the CIPP program assessment paradigm and included observation, interviews, questionnaires, Focus Group Discussions, and document examination. The research included 220 national values strengthening graduates, 4 (four) RI Lemhannas officials who implemented the stabilization program, 3 (three) Lemhannas RI Professional Staff who became resource people for the stabilization program, and 10 (ten) alumni. The findings of the context assessment indicated that Lemhannas RI's implementation of the Program for the Consolidation of National Values had a strong legal foundation, clear and realistic aims and objectives, and significant community needs. For example, inadequate cost support, inadequate curriculum support, inadequate human resource (HR) support, inadequate infrastructure support, and inadequate recruitment participants were found in the Input evaluation. The program may be carried out as intended, and the process monitoring and assessment can offer an overview of quantifiable outcomes. The effect of the strengthening program on alumni is excellent, as shown by changes in attitudes, motives, and actions.

Abstract

Kualitas pendidikan yang rendah berasal dari beberapa masalah yang berkaitan dengan manajemen para pemimpin pendidikan di madrasah, keterbatasan anggaran, fasilitas dan sarana pendidikan, media, sumber belajar, suasana di sekolah, lingkungan pendidikan, dan juga kurangnya dukungan dari pihak-pihak yang terkait dengan pendidikan.  Maka dari itu penelitian ini bermaksud untuk menggambarkan implementasi pengendalian mutu internal pendidikan di MAN 1 Blitar. Penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Wawancara, dan observasi digunakan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Sumber data berasal dari kepala madrasah, wakil kepala bidang kurikulum, dan wakil kepala bidang sarana prasarana, serta guru. Selanjutnya data yang telah diperoleh dianalisis melalui mengumpulkan, mereduksi, menyajikan, dan mengambil kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian menggambarkan, bahwa implementasi pengendalian mutu internal sudah dilakukan dengan berbagai usaha baik oleh kepala madrasah, guru, dan tenaga kependidikan. Delapan standar mutu pendidikan dilakukan tindakan-tindakan dalam menjaga kualitas madrasah agar memberikan pelayanan dan kepuasan kepada stakeholder secara maksimal. Madrasah perlu memberikan pelatihan dan pengembangan kompetensi kepada guru-guru agar mereka mampu melaksanakan tugas mereka dengan baik.

Abstract

Rendahnya kualitas sumber daya pendidikan telah menyebabkan pergeseran sistem pendidikan nasional. Sistem pendidikan yang awalnya sentralistik dimana menempatkan sekolah sebagai penyelenggara pendidikan sangat bergantung kepada keputusan birorasi pemerintah pusat yang kadang hasil putusannya tidak sesuai dengan sumber daya sekolah tersebut yang pada akhirnya menyebabkan sekolah tidak memiliki inisiatif dan kreativitas sekolah menjadi kehilangan kemandirian, berganti menjadi sistem pendidikan yang disentralistik, otonomi pendidikan memberikan kewenangan kepada sekolah untuk berpartisipasi dalam pengambilan keputusan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dengan mengelola dan memberdayakan sumber daya yang tersedia, untuk memberdayakan sekolah sebagai ujung tombak otonomi pendidikan dengan demikian akan meningkatkan sumber daya sekolah. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimana upaya otonomi pendidikan dalam meningkatkan sumber daya sekolah. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana upaya otonomi pendidikan dalam meningkatkan sumber daya sekolah.. Hasil penelitian terkait upaya otonomi pendidikan dalam meningkatkan sumber daya sekolah adalah sumber daya bukan manusia otonomi pendidikan memberikan kebebasan pada sekolah untuk mengembangkan, memperdalam, memperkaya kurikulum muatan lokal, karena menyadari bahwa antara satu daerah dengan daerah lain memiliki kemampuan sumber daya yang berbeda. Selain itu untuk peningkatan sumber daya manusia maka diperlukan kegiatan pelatihan dan pembinaan dalam menunjang peningkatan kompetensi pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan di sekolah, khususnya pelatihan dan pembinaan terkait proses pembelajaran, selanjutnya sumber daya fisik, dalam penyusunan perencanaan akan lebih baik jika dilakukan melalui rapat yang melibatkan seluruh warga sekolah dengan demikian akan terbentunya kerja sama yang baik membantu sekolah dalam menangani permasalah sekolah.

Abstract

Early childhood education has a strategic role in human development. Therefore, quality education is needed. This study aims to determine the implementation of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) / (PAUD) quality assurance management in Indonesia. A qualitative approach is carried out using the literature review method. The results show that implementing primary education quality control (ECCE) in Indonesia is crucial in ensuring a bright future for Indonesian children. In addition to the External Quality Assurance System, such as accreditation is also known as the Internal Quality Assurance System. Until now, SPMI has only been carried out at the Primary and Secondary Education and Higher Education levels. Until now, quality assurance has only been managed externally at the ECCE level, namely through BAN PAUD. As for the PAUD unit itself, there is no formal legal oversight of the implementation of SPMI. So we can see how the quality of ECCE in Indonesia until now is still very far from expectations.

Abstract

Tenaga operator sekolah dasar begitu besar perannya dalam satuan pendidikan. Sinergi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang baik dapat mempengaruhi kepuasan kinerja pada lingkungan satuan pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh positif antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan kepuasan kinerja terhadap kinerja operator sekolah. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 160 operator sekolah dasar pada lima kecamatan wilayah Administrasi Jakarta Timur I. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode proportional random sampling berdasarkan rumus slovin. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif metode survey. Untuk menguji hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini, Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah path analysis (analisis jalur). Temuan pada penelitian ini adalah kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja tenaga operator sekolah berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja tenaga operator sekolah dipengaruhi oleh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah sebesar 18,53%. Kemudian kepuasan kerja mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja tenaga operator sebesar 27,31%. Lalu terhadap pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kepuasan kerja sebesar 40,01%. Maka terdapat relevansi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan kepuasan kerja merupakan faktor penting dalam menentukan efektivitas kinerja operator sekolah dasar di wilayah Administrasi Jakarta Timur I, dengan efek gabungan keduanya memainkan peran yang signifikan dalam membentuk lingkungan kerja secara keseluruhan dan hasil.
