Semangka (Citrullus vulgaris var. Classic) merupakan tanaman indeterminate yang pertumbuhan vegetatif berjalan bersamaan fase generatif tanaman. Produksi semangka yang belum optimal dikarenakan teknik budidaya yang dilakukan belum maksimal. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kuantitas namun tidak menurunkan kualitas buah semangka yaitu pengaturan jarak tanam dan pemeliharaan tanaman seperti pemangkasan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh serta mencari kombinasi antara perlakuan jarak tanam dan pemangkasan yang tepat terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman semangka. Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan Agustus - Oktober 2017 di Desa Sumberagung, Kecamatan Plosoklaten, Kediri. Penelitian ini merupakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 9 perlakuan yaitu P1: Kombinasi jarak tanam 250 x 40 cm + tanpa pemangkasan, P2: Jarak tanam 250 x 40 cm + pemangkasan ruas ke-4, P3: Jarak tanam 250 x 40 cm + pemangkasan ruas ke-5, P4: Jarak tanam 250 x 50 cm + tanpa pemangkasan, P5: Jarak tanam 250 x 50 cm + pemangkasan ruas ke-4, P6: Jarak tanam 250 x 50 cm + pemangkasan ruas ke-5, P7: Jarak tanam 250 x 60 cm + tanpa pemangkasan, P8: Jarak tanam 250 x 60 cm + pemangkasan ruas ke-4, dan P9: Jarak tanam 250 x 60 cm + pemangkasan ruas ke-5. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jarak tanam lebar (250 x 60 cm) dan sedang (250 x 50 cm) diikuti pemangkasan ruas ke-5 menghasilkan produksi semangka tidak nyata paling tinggi dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya. Perlakuan jarak tanam 250 x 60 cm + pemangkasan ruas ke-5 rerata bobot buah/ha tertinggi.

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the influence of brand image, price, and product quality on purchasing decisions by mediating customer satisfaction on drinks at Batam City coffee shops with a number of respondents as many as 210 people. This research is basic research and is quantitative. Data collection techniques go through literature studies and field studies using questionnaires. Data analysis techniques are launched by managing data statistically using the help of smart PLS applications. Through the processing of data that has been done, it is found that brand image does not have a significant effect on purchasing decisions. Price has a significant influence on purchasing decisions. Service quality has a significant influence on purchasing decisions. Customer satisfaction does not have a significant effect on purchasing decisions. Brand image has a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Price has a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Service quality does not have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Brand image cannot influence purchasing decisions mediated by customer satisfaction. Price cannot influence purchasing decisions mediated by customer satisfaction. Service quality cannot influence purchasing decisions mediated by customer satisfaction.

Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah keinginan penulis untuk mendapatkan gambaran yang jelas tentang bagaimana gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan di PT. Indomarco Adi Prima, Lubuk Pakam. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana gaya kepemimpinan yang sesungguhnya di terapkan di perusahaan ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Penulis menggunakan wawancara semi terstruktur sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Penulis mewawancarai 7 orang karyawan. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Uji kredibilitas data yang penulis gunakan yaitu triangulasi sumber, yang mana penulis melakukan cross check data yang di dapatkan dengan Branch Manager di perusahaan tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan di PT. Indomarco Adi Prima cenderung otokratis yang mana komunikasi sering terjadi hanya satu arah antara pimpinan dengan karyawannya. Di sisi lain Branch Manager di PT. Indomarco Adi Prima, Lubuk Pakam adalah pemimpin yang tegas, menuntut prestasi, dan mampu meningkatkan disiplin kerja karyawan untuk mencapai tujuan perusahaan.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas tenaga pendidik dalam mengajar di Sekolah Budi Utomo Medan. Metode penelitian yang penulis gunakan adalah metode penelitian dekriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan penulis adalah teknik wawancara terstruktur. Dari hasil wawancara dengan kepala sekolah dan wakil kepala sekolah, diperoleh informasi bahwa kualitas guru yang mengajar di sekolah tersebut masih kurang baik, penguasaan materi guru sudah cukup baik, tapi kurang dalam menguasai kelas dan cuek dalam menghadapi anak didik, serta kurangnya keinginan dari guru itu sendiri dalam meningkatkan kompetensi diri. Hal tersebut membuat kualitas guru semakin menurun.

As time goes by and the development of the business being undertaken, of course the opportunities for expansion will also be higher. Mc Donald's is one of the multinational companies engaged in the fast food sector and has been known by many people who have finally expanded globally. The purpose of this research is to identify and analyze the four risks faced in international business or the four risks of international businesses that have Mc Donald's. The research method that we use is qualitative method, observation and internet searching. Observation of Mc Donald's uses a qualitative method, namely the four risks of international business which consist of cross cultural risk, country risk, currency risk, financial, and commercial risk. Mc Donald's in dealing with cultural differences in expanding business to other countries is by studying the culture implemented by the country to maintain its success. Mc Donald's provides services by meeting consumer needs by considering local, demographic and geographical factors of the country. Mc Donald's must give a good impression and find out whether the cooperation partners can create good cooperation in the company's operations. McDonald's has the best fast food chain management in its business as well as being a pioneer in a global marketing strategy, implementing a certain system that is adapted to the region where the McDonalds's store is located. People consider rice husks as agricultural waste. In Deliserdang Regency, in one year's period, 12,600 tons of ash are collected from the burning of around 70,000 tons of rice husk. The synthesis of zeolite from ash of rice husks was carried out by starting process of forming sodium silicate and aluminate compounds through the reaction with Al2O3 and NaOH in water on the room temperature for 10 hours. The results of reaction is refluxed at 70 ï‚°C for 3 hours. After being stored for around 12 hours at room temperature, the reflux process was continued at 120 ï‚°C for 8 hours. Infrared spectra of zeolite show an infrared absorption band in the area of around 440; 606; 745; and 1007 cm-1 which is the typical infrared absorption of zeolite X. This is supported by the XRD diffractogram with the diffraction peaks at 2 degree of 12.34; 17.51; 21.53; 27.90; 28.50 and 33.22 degrees.

This research is motivated by the importance of market fees for increasing local revenue (PAD). And also for the last 10 years, in 2022 it archieved its highest income of 114 billion. One of the government’s efforts to increase revenue is by collecting market fees. The purpose of this research is to find out how big the contribution of market levies is to Local Own Revenue and find out the development of market levies in city of Bukittinggi. The type of research used in this study is a quantitative approach. The type of data used is secondary data. Meanwhile, the research location is the City of Bukittinggi Revenue Section Finance Agency and the Office of Cooperatives, SMEs and Trade of the City of Bukittinggi. The contribution of market levies to the Regional Original Revenue of the City of Bukittinggi in 2018-2022 includes the very low contribution criteria, where the contribution is less than 10%. With the highest contribution rate of 1.72% which occurred in 2019 and the lowest contribution in 2020 with a contribution of 1.06%. In addition, the prospect of receiving market levies is a trend (development) that tends to be positive. In the next year, namely 2023, the receipt of market levies has the potential to increase, but the increase will not to be sharp increase, thus affecting the trend of market levies in recent years will come.

Osteoarthritis (OA) merupakan penyakit peradangan sendi degeneratif akibat kerusakan tulang rawan yang termasuk ke dalam 10 besar penyakit lansia paling umum di Indonesia. COX-2 inhibitor secara selektif menginhibisi aktivitas enzim COX-2 sehingga menimbulkan efek analgesik dan antiinflamasi yang dapat mengurangi rasa sakit pada pasien osteoarthritis. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah ada, ekstrak biji pinang berpotensi menurunkan inflamasi sendi lutut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan kandungan bioaktif dalam biji pinang (Areca catechu) yang potensial sebagai antiinflamasi dan agen terapi baru pada OA melalui pendekatan komputasi secara in silico dengan molecular docking berdasarkan energi ikatan (∆G), konstanta inhibisi (KI), dan interaksi ikatan. Hasil molecular docking menunjukkan senyawa sinensetin memiliki energi ikatan terbaik yaitu -9,52 kcal/mol dan paling mendekati energi ikatan celecoxib yaitu -11,09 kkal/mol. Adapun konstanta inhibisi senyawa sinensetin yaitu 104,30 μM dan interaksi ikatan dengan reseptor COX-2 menunjukkan adanya interaksi ikatan hidrogen ILE A:503; ikatan karbon-hidrogen SER A:339; ikatan pi-sigma VAL A:509; ikatan alkyl VAL A:335, TRP A:373, LEU A:370; ikatan pi-alkyl VAL A:509. Oleh karena itu, sinensetin pada biji pinang berpotensi untuk dijadikan sebagai kandidat antiinflamasi khususnya untuk terapi osteoarthritis.
