Abstract

Human resources at school is good enough in utilizing technology, information, and communication online including in the field of education. Conditions on the ground show that in some schools in the learning is based online, but only limited scope blog and quipper school. For that we need to develop web-based online physics module on business material and energy. This research is R & D (Research and Development) model of ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The results showed that the level of feasibility according to the expert and the response of student’s who are on the criteria worth with a percentage of 85% and 72.5% respectively. The web-based online physics module can be used as a self-learning resource. This product, should be developed for other high school physics materials

Abstract

The role of school laboratories is vital in helping junior high school students learn science. Many schools have laboratory facilities but are underutilized. This study aims to optimize the role of school laboratories through action research. In three cycles, the writer carried out the SMP Negeri 2 Metro research and SMP Negeri 6 Metro. The first cycle carried out technical guidance to the laboratory manager. Still, the results were not as expected due to communication problems to understand the principal's importance of incomplete laboratory improvement. The second cycle is carried out by mentoring the laboratory management. This includes the making of the laboratory management, inventory, and labeling, and creating work programs. This cycle two treatment also has not shown the results as expected. The reflection results found that the root of the problem was that the teachers and the laboratory manager believed that practicum activities needed time. So, it had to be carried out outside of class hours to require additional time, effort, and cost. To overcome this problem, in the third cycle, a workshop on making a practicum guide and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) of practicum was developed according to the lesson schedule, then a trial was conducted. Data collection uses documentary, interview, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) methods to explore the root of the problem and the solution. Data processing uses a qualitative approach with steps: data collection, selection, and grouping, tabulation, description, interpretation, and conclusions. Based on the results of action research data analysis, it can be concluded: First, management improvement and inventory of laboratory tools and materials as well as making practical SOPs, which are effective in optimizing the role of science laboratories in supporting the learning process; Second, the use of SOP practicum according to the lesson schedule is quite efficient in saving time, effort, and costs. According to the results of this study, it is recommended that for the laboratory to be optimal in supporting learning, laboratory management must be orderly equipped with SOPs, and inventory of tools and materials must be good.

Abstract

The learning process must be done by a teacher by making careful planning and use of appropriate learning media. Learning media can be a props or other media that provides an element of ease of delivery of learning information. Observation result with IPA / Physics Teacher Forum Muhammadiyah Metro City shows that only 54.5% of physics teachers in Metro city have used the use of visual aids in learning activities. The facts show that not all existing visual aids can represent all the needs of physics subject matter. Therefore implemented training program given to the muhammadiyah teachers in Metro City includes 3 material that is Urgency virtual props in learning Physics, Training of learning media animation learning IPA / Physics Using Macromedia Flash 8 application, and Use of application tracker (Video Based Learning) as a tool in the activities of science / physics lab. The results obtained show that 89% of teachers feel that the materials provided are in accordance with the needs of teachers today. As many as 75% of teachers feel difficulty in using both software. As many as 83% of teachers feel the facilities provided in the training are sufficient, and as many as 86% of teachers have improved their ability to develop virtual props for science / physics subjects. The follow up of this program is the teachers through whatapps social network can ask and discuss in developing learning media using both applications. Outcomes obtained in this devotion is the publication of devotional information in ISSN's devotional journals and mass media through newspapers and online (website). Abstract

The Indeavorings’ problem of SMA physics laboratory are: lack competence human resource, coordinator of laboratory is as the second teacher job, the laboratory hasn’t been managed well, so far the laboratory cannot been used optimum. To overcame this problem, there is conducted guidance tacnical of laboratory workers, and workshop management of labarotory. The stap include: guidance tacnical for human resource, workshop of manual laboratory management, inventory and labeling, workshop of schedule arrangement, SOP and the implementation. The result are: 1) in general, the physics laboratory of SMA in Metro have fulfilled the infastruture standar, 2) lack of human resource, 2)good management can help the physics experements a run efficient based on the schedule. The problem found that the teachers are difficult to look for the materials and their spacification, so that needed improvement to laboratory management based on ICT

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan dan mengungkapkan pembelajaran ekspositori terhadap prestasi belajar fisika siswa ditinjau dari gaya belajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan memaparkan, menuliskan, dan melaporkan keadaan suatu objek atau peristiwa apa adanya. Data dalam penelitian diperoleh melalui kuisioner, observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan pustaka yang selanjutnya dilakukan triangulasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah menurut Miles dan Hubermen, yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pemebelajaran ekspositori yang diterapkan dalam pemebelajaran fisika yang terdiri dari siswa dengan gaya belajar heterogen, yaitu: visual sebanyak 28,33% siswa, auditorial sebanyak 35% siswa, dan kinestetik sebanyak 36,67 % dinyatakan tidak berhasil karena hanya 3,33% siswa yang tuntas belajar.This study aims to describe and explore the expository learning on physics learning achievement reviewed of students' learning styles. This type of research is descriptive qualitative by describing, writing, and reporting the state of an object or event as it is. The data in the study were obtained through questionnaires, observations, interviews, documentation, and literature review which were then triangulated. The data analysis technique have used Miles and Hubermen, namely: data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that expository learning strategies applied in physics learning consisted of students with heterogeneous learning styles, namely: visual as much as 28.33% students, auditory as much as 35% students, and kinesthetic as much as 36.67% were declared unsuccessful because only 3.3% of students have completed learning. Kata kunci: strategi pembelajaran ekspositori, pretasi belajar, dan gaya belajar

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP N 1 Pekalongan, Lampung Timur. Berdasarkan hasil observasi siswa di kelasVIII dan wawancara dengan kepala Laboratorium IPA fisika diperoleh gambaran bahwa laboratorium disana memiliki alat-alat laboratorium yang cukup memadai namun belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal. Upaya penyelesaiannya diterapkan pembelajaran berbasis laboratorium, yaitu suatu konsep pembelajaran yang memadukan antara kegiatan praktik dan pembelajaran teori di laboratorium. Tujuannya yaitu untuk mendorong siswa agar selalu aktif dan kreatif dalam menghasilkan keterampilan proses sains yang dimilikinya melalui kegiatan praktikum secara berkelanjutan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII.5 yang terdiri dari 28 siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang berlangsung selama 2 siklus, setiap siklusnya terdiri dari 3 kali pertemuan. Untuk keakuratan data yang diperoleh peneliti dibantu oleh 4 orang observer dalam mengamati keterampilan proses sains siswa dan karakter keaktifan siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh sebanyak 85,71% siswa telah memiliki keterampilan proses sains dengan skor >71dan sebanyak 67,86% siswa telah menunjukan karakter keaktifan dengan skor >72. Dari hasil ini disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis laboratorium mampu meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains serta mampu medorong terwujudnya karakter keaktifan siswa dalam bentuk karakter tanggung jawab menyusun laporan, merapikan alat, dan kerjasama antar kelompok. Saran dari peneliti, hendaknya dalam penerapan pembelajaran berbasis laboratorium guru selalu membimbing, memberikan perhatian dan mengontrol kinerja tiap kelompok praktikum.This research was conducted at SMP N 1 Pekalongan, Lampung Timur. Based on the observations of students in class VIII and interviews with the head of Physics Laboratory of science got the picture that the laboratory there has enough laboratory equipment but not yet fully utilized. So as an effort to solve it applied laboratory-based learning, which is a learning concept that combines practical activities and theory learning in the laboratory. The goal is to encourage students to always be active and creative in fostering the science process skills they have through practicum activities in a sustainable manner. The subject of this research is the students of class VIII.5 consisting of 28 students. This research is a study of Action Act which lasted for 2 cycles, each cycle consists of 3 times meeting. For the accuracy of data obtained by researchers assisted by 4 observers in observing the skills of students' science processes and student activeness. Based on the results of research, obtained as much as 85.71% of students have had the science process skills with a score of >71 and as many as 67.86% of students have shown the character of liveliness with a score of >72. From this result, it is concluded that laboratory-based learning can improve the science process skills as well as able to encourage the realization of student activeness character by continuously. Suggestions from researchers should be in the application of teacher-based learning teachers always guide, give attention and control the performance of each group lab.

Abstract

Biogas techniques is a way to produce energy with the anaerobic process by utilizing organic ingredients, one of which can be derived from herbs. The quality of biogas production can be viewed by performing the measurement of absolute pressure of biogas. Absolute pressure is the atmospheric pressure coupled with the measured pressure.  The magnitude of the pressure will affect the quality of the flame produced biogas. This study, using the method of observation, and measurements. As for the data analysis techniques,. The findings focused to find the different of biogas production by measuring the change in absolute pressure of biogas. Measurements are done using a manometer. The results obtained show that the introduction by using cow dung retrieved changes pressure biogas occurred on day 3 with pressure 140.565 N/m2, the characteristics of the data graph illustrates the R2 = 0.677. Different results are indicated on the mixing water hyacinth with cow manure, biogas pressure changes happen on day 1 with the characteristic graph of a R2 = 0.976. This condition describes that the mixing of the water hyacinth and cow dung provides distinctions signifikant in accelerating the process of occurrence of biogas.

Abstract

THE ROLE OPTIMIZATION PROGRAM OF PHYSICAL LABORATORY OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL IN METRO CITY, LAMPUNG. The Government Regulation (PP) of the Republic of Indonesia no. 19 of 2005 sets eight educational standards. The results survey found every high school in Metro City has been equipped with physics laboratory and has formed an organizational structure. But the physics laboratory to support the learning process, has not been done well. The purpose of this IbM (Ipteks bagi Masyarakat) Program is to apply theory and concept of Laboratory management in order to optimize the role of Physics Laboratory to supporting the learning process. The methods used are: Making of laboratory inventory website, workshop of the standard making of laboratory management, facilitation of website and arrangement of laboratory apparatus, workshop of making work program, workshop of making service, and doing simulation result of the workshop. The results obtained are: 1) Generally the condition of high school physics laboratory in Metro City has exceeded the standard up to 71,9%; 2) Aspects that do not meet government standards are no technicians and less on electric and sink socket facilities of 5,7%; 3) Utilization of high school laboratory inventory website gives a quite effective and significant impact in assisting the administration of laboratory equipment and facilitate access in tracking the existence of physics laboratory equipment and materials.

Abstract

The pre-survey result of the problem school that media that used in school have not assisted student learning, and some teachers use an interactive multimedia..The purpose of this research is to produce an integrated interactive multimedia development with student worksheet on simple machine subject by using powerpoint. The type of this research is Reseach and Development. The model development that used is the ADDIE development model includes 5 step: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The feasibility of the result product could be reviewed in 3 aspects: software engineering aspects, visual communication aspect and learning design aspects.The results  that the powerpoint have fulfill the criteria that showed by validation with a very feasible and good criteria. The product assessment by media expert reached 89.1% and material experts reached 89.0%. Furthermore, the product assessment by teacher response reaches 90.5% and product assessment by Student response reaches 87.1%

Abstract

ABSTRAK Program Kampus Mengajar Angkatan 1 Tahun 2021 adalah salah satu bentuk pelaksanaan Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) yang berupa asistensi mengajar untuk memberdayakan mahasiswa dalam membantu proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar, salah satunya adalah SD Negeri 014 Palembang yang beralamat di Jl. Tanjung Barangan RT.05 RW.03 Kelurahan Bukit Baru Kecamatan Ilir Barat I Palembang. Tujuan dari Program Kampus Mengajar Angkatan 1 Tahun 2021 adalah membantu pihak sekolah dalam proses mengajar, adaptasi teknologi, dan membantu administrasi. Program ini diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan empati dan kepekaan sosial terhadap permasalahan yang ada; mengasah keterampilan berpikir dan bekerjasama antar guru dan mahasiswa Kampus Mengajar; mengembangkan wawasan, karakter, dan soft skills mahasiswa; meningkatkan peran dan kontribusi nyata perguruan tinggi dan mahasiswa dalam pembangunan nasional. Dampak yang dirasakan siswa selama adanya mahasiswa Kampus Mengajar ikut mendampingi guru mengajar di kelas VI.B adalah meningkatnya presentase motivasi dan minat belajar sekitar 80-90%. Penggunaan media Google Classroom, Google Meeting, Zoom Metting, Google Form dan Google Drive selama pembelajaran masih dalam tahap evaluasi. Guru dan mahasiswa Kampus Mengajar dituntut mampu merancang kegiatan pembelajaran dari perencanaan hingga evaluasi dengan cara yang lebih sederhana, kreatif dan efektif. Mahasiswa Kampus Mengajar dan guru disekolah juga bekerjasama menyusun, merapikan dan melengkapi administrasi kepala sekolah. The use of Google Classroom, Google Meeting, Zoom Metting, Google Form and Google Drive media during learning is still in the evaluation stage. Teaching Campus Teachers and Students are able to design learning activities from evaluation to evaluation in a simpler, creative and effective way. Campus Teaching students and teachers in schools also form, tidy up and complete the administration of the principal.
