Abstract

The learning methods changed due to Covid-19, the government originally set online learning to be a limited face-to-face meeting using the hybrid learning method. The hybrid learning method in implementation requires a high level of academic efficacy, suppressing procrastination and a high level of learning independence. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between (1) academic efficacy with student geography learning outcomes, (2) procrastination with student geography learning outcomes, (3) learning independence with student geography learning outcomes and (4) academic efficacy, procrastination and learning independence with student geography learning outcomes. The design of this study is correlational ex post-facto quantitative approach. The sampling technique used the cluster sampling technique with the slovin formula and obtained a sample of 244. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and documentation. The results of a simple correlation test and a multiple linear correlation test of each independent variable show that there is a relationship with the dependent variable. By knowing the level of academic efficacy, procrastination and student learning independence, it can also monitor the causes that affect student geography learning outcomes.

Abstract

Inovasi dalam teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) membawa transformasi yang signifikan di bidang pendidikan. Pengembangan media pembelajaran menjadi suatu keharusan dalam menghadapi era digital yang terus berkembang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pengembangan terhadap media pembelajaran videografis untuk siswa SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini yaitu 120 siswa dan 2 guru mata pelajaran geografi. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket non-tes, survei kuesioner, dan pedoman observasi. Data yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk memberikan gambaran yang jelas mengenai kebutuhan dan pandangan siswa serta guru. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dinyatakan bahwa pengembangan media ini dianggap strategis untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di era digital. Meskipun demikian, diperlukan peralatan dan pelatihan yang lebih memadai bagi guru. Hasil kuesioner menunjukkan respon positif siswa terhadap pembelajaran geografi, dengan 97% siswa senang dengan metode pembelajaran dan 81% menganggap geografi sebagai mata pelajaran favorit. Dukungan terhadap media pembelajaran berbasis videografis juga tinggi (85%). Interaksi guru-siswa dinilai mempengaruhi minat dan pemahaman siswa. Media pembelajaran berbasis videografis dapat meningkatkan belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas penggunaan aplikasi Quizwhizzer dalam model pembelajaran berbasis permainan, yang terbukti efektif dalam menumbuhkan minat belajar siswa. Dengan menggunakan studi literatur dan analisis deskriptif, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi Quizwhizzer dapat meningkatkan minat dan motivasi belajar siswa dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional. Hasil penelitian juga mengungkapkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi ini tidak hanya berdampak pada peningkatan minat dan motivasi belajar, tetapi juga meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Siswa yang menggunakan aplikasi ini lebih aktif dalam diskusi kelas dan lebih berpartisipasi dalam kuis interaktif, yang secara positif memengaruhi pemahaman mereka terhadap materi pelajaran. Selain itu, Quizwhizzer menyediakan umpan balik instan yang membantu siswa memahami kesalahan mereka dan meningkatkan prestasi belajar secara keseluruhan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi Quizwhizzer dapat menjadi alat yang efektif dalam merancang pengalaman pembelajaran yang menarik dan bermakna, sehingga berkontribusi pada peningkatan minat belajar siswa di era pendidikan digital saat ini.

Abstract

Virtual learning spaces that are contextual and interactive have become a primary need in geography education, particularly in en hancing students’ spatial thinking skills. This study focuses on developing a virtual reality-based learning medium, designed as a digital learning space to facilitate the study of plantation resource potential. The purpose of this research is to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of learning medium in improving students’ spatial thinking abilities. The research method employed is the ADDIE model, consisting of five stages (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data collection was conducted through direct observation. For the analysis of the collected data, the researcher used descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The results indicate that the developed learning medium falls into the category of highly valid. Expert evaluations showed that media expert rated the learning medium at 84.70%, while material expert gave a score of 83.75%. Furthermore, student respondents rated the medium at 84.62%, and teacher respondents provided a score of 94.11%. Based on these four evaluation result, the medium is categorized as highly valid and suitable for use in the learning process. Additionally, the medium has a positive impact on students’ spatial thinking abilities, as evidence by an increase in average student scores at each stage, with a 37.38% improvement in stage 1 and a 7.63% improvement in stage 2. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the developed medium is highly appropriate for application in learning activities and has a positive effect on enhancing students’ spatial thinking skills.

Abstract

Upaya mewujudkan mahasiswa yang memahami dan sadar lingkungan merupakan hal yang harus dilakukan oleh perguruan tinggi. Berbagai institusi perguruan tinggi memaksimalkan sumber daya untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan membentuk kesadaran mahasiswa dengan melibatkan mahasiswa dalam berbagai kegiatan peduli lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis persepsi dan keterlibatan mahasiswa sebagai aktor penggunaan transportasi dan energi berkelanjutan di perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian survey dengan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner online. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas untuk mengukur validitas instrumen, tabulasi dan visualisasi data. Responden penelitian adalah mahasiswa sebanyak 92 orang dari 9 fakultas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa memiliki pemahaman dan membentuk kesadaran dalam upaya penggunaan transportasi dan energi berkelanjutan sesuai dengan hasil pengukuran persepsi pada mahasiswa. Para mahasiswa memiliki anggapan bahwa dengan melibatkan mereka dalam peningkatan kualitas lingkungan kampus dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan membentuk kesadaran lingkungan. Penelitian ini berimplikasi pada peningkatan kesadaran mahasiswa dan memperkuat peran perguruan tinggi dalam melibatkan mahasiswa dalam aktivitas dalam meggunakan transportasi dan energi berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis diperlukan pada pendidikan abad 21. Kemampuan berpikir kritis dapat ditumbuhkan melalui model PBL. Live worksheet adalah media yang membantu dalam penggunaan model PBL. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model PBL berbantuan Live worksheet terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen semu dengan desain posttest control group design. Lokasi penelitian yaitu di SMA Laboratorium UM dengan subjek penelitian kelas XI IPS 2 (kelas eksperimen) dan kelas XI IPS 3(kelas kontrol). Hasil penelitian berdasarkan uji Mann-Whitney diketahui 0,00 < 0,05 yaitu H0 ditolak H1 diterima. Hasil tersebut memperlihatkan bahwa model PBL yang didukung oleh live worksheet berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Peneliti juga menemukan temuan komparasi nilai rata-rata berdasarkan gender yang menunjukkan bahwa siswa perempuan mendapat nilai lebih tinggi dari siswa laki-laki. Hal ini karena kemampuan berbahasa perempuan lebih baik dibandingkan laki-laki sehingga mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam penyampaian pendapat. Critical Thinking ability is one of the necessary skills for 21st century education. Critical abilities may be advanced thru the PBL model. Live worksheet is a medium that can help in using the PBL model. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of a PBL model supported by live worksheets on students' critical thinking skills. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with a posttest control group design. The research location is in SMA Laboratorium UM with research subjects in class XI IPS 2 (experimental class) and class XI IPS 3 (control class). The results of the study based on the Mann-Whitneyy test, it is known that 0.00 < 0.05, then H0 rejected and H1 is accepted. These results demonstrate that PBL models supported by live worksheet influence students' critical thinking skills. The researcher also found a comparison of the average scores by gender which showed that female students score higher than male students. This factor is because women's language skills are better than men's so that it affects critical thinking skills in conveying opinions.

Abstract

Abstract : Accera pare is a harvest party of the Parigi Village community which is held as a form of gratitude of the farmers for the gifts given by God for being given a smooth harvest. The purpose of this research is to explore the meaning of the accera pare ceremony for the people of Parigi Village and the integration of accera pare in building students' sense of solidarity. The research method used descriptive qualitative with ethnographic approach where the data were analyzed by domain analysis, taxonomy, components and cultural themes. Data sources were obtained through participant observation and in-depth interviews. The results showed that the meaning of the accera pare ceremony for the people of Parigi Village is as a form of respect for ancestors including forms of communication, protection and guardians of nature, as a thanksgiving including prayer, thanksgiving, as a cultural heritage which includes heirlooms, traditional performances and traditional clothes and as a form of human relationship with humans which is realized through deliberation and socialization between communities. The integration of accera pare in building students' solidarity is reflected in kinship, gratitude, mutual cooperation, togetherness and the spirit of sharing. Abstrak : Accera pare merupakan pesta panen masyarakat Desa Parigi yang dilaksanakan sebagai bentuk syukur para petani atas karunia yang diberikan oleh Tuhan karena diberi kelancaran panen. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menggali makna upacara accera pare bagi masyarakat Desa Parigi dan integrasi accera pare dalam mebangun rasa solidaritas peserta didik. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi dimana data dianalisis dengan analisis domain, taksonomi, komponen dan tema budaya. Sumber data diperoleh melalui observasi partisipasi dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa makna upacara accera pare bagi masyarakat Desa Parigi adalah sebagai wujud penghormatan kepada leluhur meliputi bentuk komunikasi, perlindungan dan penjaga alam, sebagai ucapan syukur meliputi berdoa, ucapan terima kasih, sebagai warisan budaya yang meliputi peninggalan pusaka, pertunjukkan tradisional dan baju adat dan sebagai bentuk hubungan manusia dengan manusia yang terwujud melalui musyawarah dan sosialisasi antar masyarakat. Integrasi accera pare dalam membangun solidaritas peserta didik tercermin dalam kekeluargaan, rasa syukur, gotong royong, kebersamaan dan semangat berbagi.

Abstract

The implementation of differentiated learning in geography subjects provides benefits for teachers and students. On the other hand, teachers still have difficulty implementing differentiated learning elements. This research aims to analyze the factors related to teacher difficulties in implementing differentiated learning in geography subjects. The research method used descriptive qualitative research with semi-structured interviews. The informants used were geography teachers of SMAN Malang City. Data analysis was conducted by 1) data reduction, 2) data presentation, and 3) conclusion drawing. The results showed that geography teachers in Malang City State Senior High School faced difficulties in implementing differentiated learning. In content differentiation, students are given media based on learning styles but do not show any motivation to learn. In process differentiation, there is a “free rider” phenomenon in group learning. In product differentiation, students feel bored and unfairly different levels of difficulty. In learning environment differentiation, students show different behavior between morning and afternoon. Teachers also experience time constraints in preparing the implementation of differentiated learning.

Abstract

The dynamic development of the times in general provides changes to aspects of education that are increasingly integrated with technology. The utilization of technology in the education sector creates various conveniences and the availability of learning media to increase the effectiveness of learning. Based on the results of the needs analysis conducted at MA Bilingual Batu City, it was found that students need renewal of learning media that can illustrate material volcanism that is difficult to reach. This research aims to develop media that can help students' understanding and see its feasibility and practicality. This research uses the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). By using visual motion graphic media, students can clearly see the phenomenon of volcanism that occurs. The results of this study showed a media validation test of 98.3% and a material validation test of 77.5%. In the teacher test, the score was 100% and the student test was 90.6%. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be said that this media is suitable for implementation in geography learning.

Abstract

The ability to think creatively is an important skill that must be possessed by 21st century students, while an attitude of caring for the environment is an important foundation in maintaining the balance of nature. This study aims to: (1) measure the influence of Project Based SCAMPER Learning (PBSL) on students' creative thinking skills, and (2) evaluate the influence of PBSL on environmental care attitudes. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Ngadiluwih with a sample of students in class X, consisting of 36 students in the experimental class and 36 students in the control class. Data were collected using creative thinking skills tests and environmental care questionnaires, and analyzed using statistical tests, including normality, homogeneity, and two-way ANOVA tests. The results show that PBSL has a significant impact on students' creative thinking skills, especially on the originality indicator, which has experienced the greatest improvement. Students are able to produce innovative new ideas in the field of education.
