Abstract

The concept of artificial intelligence (AI) has become inextricably linked to the technological developments occurring within the context of the Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0 eras. AI can be defined as a computer program comprising integrated machine learning, hardware, and software components. This concept of AI draws inspiration from the neocognitron patterns observed in the human brain and employs knowledge derived from hardware and software in order to fulfil its functions. With the advent of Industry 4.0, AI has been increasingly utilized in diverse domains, including education. The objective of this research is to elucidate the role of AI in education during the Industry 4.0 era, employing qualitative research methodologies. In the context of education, AI facilitates personalized learning experiences tailored to individual learners. AI systems assist educators in designing individualized learning profiles, encompassing a range of practical exercises, for each learner. This permits the adaptation of learning materials to align with the abilities, learning styles, and experiences of each learner. The implementation of AI technology in education is considered beneficial, facilitating the tasks of educators, particularly those related to administration, such as assessment and determining final grades based on applicable weights and evaluations. Furthermore, AI technology has the potential to enhance the quality of active and interactive learning experiences, thus facilitating the teaching-and-learning process for educators and learners alike..

Abstract

The process of physical growth and development in children is often disturbed, one of the causes is malnutrition. Another case in the elderly, where problems that often occur besides malnutrition are also mobility disorders. Mobility disorders in the elderly are caused by the elderly worrying about moving their bodies, for this reason, fitness training is needed for the elderly to be able to carry out their daily activities. The purpose of this PkM is to provide balanced nutrition education for children and the elderly and physical exercise to improve elderly fitness. The method used is to provide education (counseling) and fitness practices. The participants who attended amounted to 68 people. The implementation of this community service begins with preparation, namely coordination with partners and the team. The implementation of the service starts from anthropometric examinations; providing education on child and elderly nutrition; fitness training; and giving tokens of appreciation from the service team and partners. The education went well which was marked by the many curiosities of the participants, as well as during the practice of physical exercise, the participants felt that the exercises given could be done easily for elderly people with limited mobility. Providing education and refresher exercises needs to be done regularly, for that the partners can follow up cooperation with facilitators who can guide church health cadres.

Abstract

Sukamantri Village in Cariu District, East Bogor Regency, is one of the underdeveloped areas that faces fundamental problems in terms of family economy and educational literacy. Low household income and minimal access to learning resources and educational participation are the main obstacles in the process of building an independent and competitive community. Through this Community Service (PkM) activity, the service team designed the "Village Rising Movement" program as an integrated solution targeting these two important sectors. This activity was carried out with a participatory and sustainable approach, including local potential-based entrepreneurship training, development of micro-business units, increasing the capacity of teachers and parents, and strengthening the literacy ecosystem through the establishment of village reading corners and development of community libraries. The results of the activity showed an increase in community participation in productive economic activities, the emergence of independent learning initiatives, and the formation of synergy between local partners and the service team in supporting the sustainability of the program. This program is expected to be a model for village community empowerment that can be replicated in other areas with similar challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to identify specific discrepancies between the health education content taught in primary schools and the content that should ideally be taught. The content taught includes personal hygiene, nutrition and healthy eating, and the dangers of smoking and addictive substances. Health education at the primary school age is particularly important because children at this stage are vulnerable to health risks, and early education has been shown to be effective in shaping sustainable health-conscious attitudes. The study employed a survey method in the Greater Bandung area, encompassing Bandung City, Cimahi City, Bandung Regency, and West Bandung Regency.A sample of 20 schools and 120 students was selected proportionately at random.Data were collected through structured questionnaires and in-depth interviews, and were analyzed descriptively to identify gaps in health education content. The results indicated that 65% of students did not receive adequate education on personal hygiene, including proper handwashing, bathing, and hair washing. Furthermore, 58% of students lacked sufficient understanding about nutrition and healthy eating, while 72% did not receive education about the dangers of smoking and addictive substances. These findings underscore the necessity to fortify the health education curriculum in primary schools. This study proposes the formulation of a more comprehensive and integrated school-based curriculum, including the delineation of specific time allocations for health education and the training of teachers in the effective delivery of health materials.Practical implications of this study include the necessity of raising awareness of the paramount importance of health education through collaboration between schools, parents, and communities to foster an environment that supports children's health.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and formulate a risk mitigation model for human resource management (HR) in Indonesian universities with a focus on academic sustainability. Using a qualitative approach and Grounded Theory, data were collected through in-depth interviews with key informants from various higher education institutions. The analysis process was conducted through the stages of open coding, axial coding, and selective coding to build a theoretical model based on the data. The results of this study indicate that universities in Indonesia face various structural and systemic HR risks, such as dependence on senior lecturers, weak regeneration and retention policies, and workload imbalances. Based on the findings, a risk-mitigation model was developed based on a proactive approach that includes succession planning, continuous training systems, work flexibility, and integration of risk management into institutional governance. This model has practical implications for the formulation of adaptive and long-term HR policies. This study contributes to the development of HR risk management theory in the higher education sector and provides a policy reference for educational institutions to improve academic resilience and sustainability. Further research is recommended to test this model in various types of institutions and in the context of digital transformation in higher education.

Abstract

This research aims to show that the Javanese concept of Kekeluargaan as the spiritual commitment influences the loyalty of human resources through management. Human loyalty depends upon fulfilling employees’ needs, which is one of the motivation factors for working. The meaning of work becomes absurd and leads to the material element as the form of human resources development. This old-fashioned paradigm cannot perform the best human resources performance due to commitment and spiritual factors. The previous element creates the incapability of humans to search for the meaning of work for life. The latter makes humans unable to appreciate the job for themselves. Therefore, human resources development issues become a burden for organizations.  The method uses the sociological approach to evaluate and analyze the emic through books, articles, journals, and academic writings to systematize research division through analytical thinking. The result is that the concept of Kekeluargaan, as an Indonesian local culture, becomes a spiritual commitment to bringing diversity to the organization as one family. The conclusion is that the valuable points of Kekeluargaan create a workplace atmosphere for human resources that is happy, comfortable, involved, and together in line with spiritual values.

Abstract

This study aims to demonstrate that the Indonesian local culture, Siri Na Pacce, becomes the construction of educational leadership in the era of educational capitalism. The Indonesian constitution upholds the availability of human resources to be educated for social change. The advancement of educational facilities creates inequality among human resources in accessing a better education. This inequality creates social reproduction through the educational system. The iron cage of the educational system chains the production of potential leaders for social change. The sociological method is conducted to analyze andevaluate the root of the problem to bring in the emic perspective. This method accesses books, articles, journals, and academic writing. This research aims to align local cultural values, Siri Na Pacce, to construct leadership values in generating an accessible educational system. To conclude, the construction of educational leadership is based on the solid value of Siri Na Pacce to build the character of being with others.
