Abstract

This study aims to find out: How to improve students' narrative writing skills using serial picture media for class IV SD Negeri Bontoramba 1 Makassar City. This type of research uses classroom action research (CAR). The research subjects were fourth grade students at SD Negeri Bontoramba 1 Makassar. Data collection techniques are observation, tests and documentation. The data in this study were analyzed using descriptive quantitative statistical analysis. The results of the research carried out showed that the improvement in students' narrative writing skills using serial picture media increased as seen from teacher and student observations as well as test results where cycle I showed that the percentage of students whose scores were above the KKM only reached 30% so that the student scores above the KKM increased to 85%. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that using serial image media can improve students' narrative writing skills. at SD Negeri Bontoramba 1 Makassar.

Abstract

The growth and arrangement of existing buildings are sometimes not balanced with the readiness of building and urban infrastructure. The main danger of fire for humans is poisoning due to inhalation of smoke, about 75% of human deaths in burning buildings are caused by smoke, about 25% of deaths are caused by heat generated by fire. To carry out the functions and uses, the building consists of several systems, the system consists of sub-systems that form integrally in a single unit. Fire prevention is one of the building systems, which aims to save lives. Fire prevention is one aspect of building safety. To find out and assess the level of reliability of a building against fire hazards, a problem formulation is formulated, namely How to design a fire prevention analysis that can be applied to buildings. The conclusion that can be drawn regarding the design of a fire prevention inspection system and its application is, the design of a building reliability inspection system in fire prevention is one of the tools in assessing and inspecting buildings for fire prevention measures in buildings. Inspection of building reliability in fire prevention is carried out at the smallest level or on building components, can provide a more detailed assessment/inspection of the fire prevention system, Assessment of Rescue Means Components, Assessment of Active Protection Components, Passive Protection Assessment Means.

Abstract

Program pemanfaatan sampah ini dilakukan di SDN 143 INPRES LEKO desa bonto marannu kecamatan moncongloe kabupaten maros sulawesi selatan. Pengelolaan sampah di sekolah merupakan tantangan serius yang membutuhkan perhatian khusus. pemanfaatan limbah pelastik melalui daur ulang yang kreatif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas mahasiswa di SDN 143 Inpres Leko. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, refleksi, dan praktik langsung dalam menciptakan barang dari sampah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan dan kreativitas siswa, tetapi juga menumbuhkan kesadaran lingkungan. Dengan mengubah sampah menjadi karya seni, siswa mempelajari nilai estetika dan fungsional dari barang-barang bekas, yang berkontribusi pada pengurangan sampah dan peningkatan kualitas hidup masyarakat sekitar.

Abstract

Marine debris consists of materials discarded or unintentionally introduced into the marine environment by human activities. The increasing volume of marine debris is largely attributed to human activity near coastal areas. Bluka Teubai Beach, North Aceh, a popular visitor destination, has a high potential for waste accumulation. This study, conducted in May 2024, employed a purposive sampling method to assess marine debris. The research area was divided into three stations with distinct characteristics, using the line transect method. Results from Bluka Teubai Beach identified two primary waste categories: organic and inorganic. Organic waste included wood, bamboo, and coconut husk, while inorganic waste consisted of plastic, glass, metal, and rubber. Among organic waste, wood exhibited the highest absolute density (0.456 items/m²) and relative density (53.950%), followed by bamboo (0.317 items/m², 39.641%) and coconut husk (0.049 items/m², 6.409%). The overall density of organic waste at Bluka Teubai Beach was highest for wood (0.23 items/m²), with an average relative density of 58.640%. For inorganic waste, plastic had the highest absolute density in pieces (2.24 items/m²) and relative density in pieces (96.968%). The highest absolute density and relative mass of inorganic waste were also found in plastic (99.94 g/m² and 64.36%, respectively). Temporal analysis revealed that organic waste accumulation peaked on Fridays, while inorganic waste was most abundant on Tuesdays in terms of count and on Sundays in terms of mass. The results underscore the urgent need for targeted waste management strategies and continuous monitoring to mitigate marine debris pollution and protect the coastal ecosystem of Bluka Teubai Beach.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) model in Junior High This study aims to determine the application of What, Why, Where, Who, Hhen + How (5W + 1H) Techniques in Improving Students' Short Story Writing Skills in Vocational High Schools. The approach used in this study uses a qualitative approach with a type of classroom action research. This method is expected to be able to improve the ability to write short stories at vocational high schools at SMK Darussalam in Makassar. The data collection techniques used in this study are test techniques and non-test techniques. The test technique is used to find out how much the level of students' ability to write short stories through the 5W + 1H technique. H asil research and discussion can be concluded that the ability to write short stories for class X vocational high school (SMK) students in Makassar has participated in learning to write short stories through the 5W + 1H technique has increased. The results were obtained from the average score of the short story writing class cycle I of 78.42 and cycle II the average score of the class of 89.84 and was included in the good category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model Discovery Learning dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis berita peserta didik kelas VIIIB SMP Negeri 11 Makassar. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan kemampuan menulis dengan penerapan model Discovery Learning. Data yang diperoleh dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yaitu silus I dan siklus II dengan tahapan kegiatan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIIIB SMP Negeri 11 Makassar yang berjumlah 28 siswa, terdiri dari 14 siswa pria dan 14 orang siswa wanita. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi penilaian keterampilan menulis peserta didik, dan hasil kemampuan menulis peserta didik serta dokumentasi hasil kerja peserta didik, sedangkan kriteria keberhasilan yaitu dari segi hasil yang dicapai hasil kelas VIIIB SMP Negeri 11 Makassar dalam penelitian ini adalah nilai rata-rata keterampilan menulis peserta didik meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus II mencapai 75 dari jumlah peserta didik yang mendapatkan nilai >75 (KKM keterampilan menulis). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa keterampilan menulis berita peserta didik dengan memperhatikan nilai rata-rata dari aspek penilaian keefektifan dalam memperhatikan penjelasan cukup; kemampuan peserta didik dalam memahami materi yang disampaikan guru cukup; sikap dalam menerima materi pembelajaran cukup; ketahanan konsentrasi peserta didik cukup; dan hasil penelitian siklus I mencapai 65,6 dan pada siklus II meningkat, mencapai 90,3 dan sudah memenuhi standar kreteria ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yang ditargetkan oleh peneliti.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas upaya kepala sekolah dalam mengoptimalkan kinerja tenaga kependidikan di lembaga pendidikan Islam. Efektifitas kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berperan penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif, mengoptimalkan kompetensi tenaga kependidikan, serta memotivasi mereka untuk bekerja secara optimal. Pendekatan kepemimpinan transformasional dan situasional menjadi aspek utama dalam membangun sinergi antara kepala sekolah dan tenaga kependidikan. Selain itu, pengembangan kompetensi melalui pelatihan berkelanjutan, pemanfaatan teknologi dalam manajemen pendidikan, serta sistem evaluasi berbasis umpan balik menjadi strategi yang terbukti mengoptimalkan efektivitas tenaga kependidikan. Dalam perspektif Islam, kepemimpinan yang ideal didasarkan pada prinsip keteladanan, keadilan, dan musyawarah. Nilai-nilai Islam juga berperan dalam membentuk budaya kerja yang berorientasi pada profesionalisme, tanggung jawab, dan keikhlasan. Motivasi kerja dapat ditingkatkan melalui penghargaan yang adil serta penciptaan lingkungan kerja yang harmonis dan berlandaskan nilai-nilai spiritual. Evaluasi kinerja yang transparan dan berbasis prinsip muhasabah (introspeksi diri) juga menjadi aspek utama dalam mengoptimalkan produktivitas tenaga kependidikan. Hasil penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa strategi kepemimpinan yang diterapkan kepala sekolah dalam lembaga pendidikan Islam tidak hanya berdampak pada kinerja administratif tenaga kependidikan, tetapi berdampak juga pada peningkatan kualitas layanan pendidikan secara keseluruhan. Dengan menerapkan strategi berbasis nilai-nilai Islam dan pendekatan manajerial yang tepat, lembaga pendidikan Islam dapat menghasilkan tenaga kependidikan yang berkualitas dan memiliki loyalitas tinggi terhadap institusi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the influence of the brainstorming method in improving the speaking ability of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 25 Makassar totaling 22 students. The population of this study was class VIII students. The sample in this study was class VIII students and class governance with a total of 22 students consisting of 13 women and 9 men. Sampling was carried out in a simple way, namely by dividing groups and selecting students randomly. This study was conducted in two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. Each cycle was carried out according to the changes to be achieved between cycle I and cycle II whose components were interrelated. Data collection was carried out through observation of students' speaking abilities, then analyzed quantitatively. The results of the study showed that learning using the brainstorming method in class VIII-B students of SMP Negeri 25 Makassar, in cycle I did not experience a significant increase, both in the results of the recapitulation of speaking abilities in cycle I and in the results of the recapitulation of the influence of using the brainstorming method. Speaking ability is categorized as lacking, as seen from the percentage of achievement of 53.33%. In cycle II, there was a significant increase, both in the results of the recapitulation of speaking ability and the results of the recapitulation of the influence of the brainstorming method with a percentage achievement of 62.22% which was categorized as sufficient.

Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to find out: (1) the implementation process of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project with the introduction of banana dampo entrepreneurs, (2) the obstacles that arise in the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project with the introduction of banana dampo entrepreneurs, and (3) the values that are grown/arisen in the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project with the introduction of banana dampo entrepreneurs. The type of research conducted is qualitative research. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research and data analysis conducted show that the implementation of P5 with the introduction of banana dampo entrepreneurs has been carried out starting from the introduction, contextual, action as well as reflection and follow-up stages. The obstacles faced by teachers in P5 can be overcome by inviting students to carry out entrepreneurial activities in a simpler way. Through the introduction of Dampo Pisang entrepreneurship in P5, students can foster an entrepreneurial spirit in students.
