Abstract

Sargassum sp merupakan jenis rumput laut yang tumbuh subur secara alami di perairan Indonesia, termasuk di Perairan Simeulue, Provinsi Aceh. Sargassum sp. mengandung berbagai senyawa bioaktif yaitu fenol yang berpotensi sebagai antioksidan. Sargassum sp. di Perairan Simeulue belum dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat setempat dan belum ada laporan ilmiah tentang total fenol dan aktivitas antioksidan dari rumput laut tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini menentukan aktivitas antioksidan dan total fenol Sargassum sp yang terdapat di Perairan Simeulue. Metode penelitian meliputi pengambilan sampel rumput laut, preparasi dan ekstraksi sampel rumput laut, uji fitokimia, analisis total fenol dan analisis aktivitas antioksidan rumput laut. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear untuk melihat hubungan total fenol dengan aktivitas antioksidan DPPH Sargassum. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa total fenol dan aktivitas antioksidan lima jenis rumput laut genus Sargassum (S. muticum, S. binderi, S. crassifolium, S. granuliferum, S. fluitans) di Perairan Simeulue menunjukkan nilai yang bervariasi. Total fenol 7,45-9,02 mg GAE/g dengan nilai tertinggi terdapat pada S. binderi dan nilai terendah pada S. fluitans. Aktivitas antioksidan 74,7-152,4 μg/mL dengan nilai tertinggi terdapat pada S. binderi, sedangkan nilai terendah terdapat pada S. fluitans. Hasil analisis korelasi (R2 = 0,9059) menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas antioksidan rumput laut genus Sargassum berhubungan erat dengan total fenol. Kelima spesies rumput laut Sargassum di Perairan Simeulue mempunyai aktivitas antioksidan yang kuat (74,7-152,4 μg/mL) sehingga berpotensi dikembangkan sebagai antioksidan.

Abstract

This study intends to investigate how plant spacing and concentrations Mutiara NPK fertilizer affect the development and produce of peanuts (Arachis hypogaea L.). From February to April 2023, The Faculty of Agriculture at Pattimura University is where this study was conducted. This study, an experimental model with two components and a Randomized Group Design was utilized. The first element is the inorganic fertilizer concentration (P), which has three levels: 0 g (Control), 500 g NPK fertilizer/5 liters of water (starting solution), and 1000 g NPK fertilizer/5 liters of water (beginning solution). The second variable is the variation in planting distance with three distances: J1, J2, J3. The aforementioned treatments consisted of nine combinations that were run through three times to produce the 27 experimental units. Due to the interplay of a concentration of 1000 g of NPK fertilizer/5 liters of water and a planting spacing of 20 cm40 cm, a more significant number of plants leaves 27,8333 were produced, according to the study's findings.

Abstract

Coastal abrasion poses a significant threat to Indonesia, an archipelagic nation with one of the world’s longest coastlines. The phenomenon is particularly severe in Napabalano District, Muna Regency, where dense settlements, economic activities, and declining mangrove ecosystems increase exposure to erosion hazards. This study aims to assess the risk of coastal abrasion in Napabalano District using a GIS-based approach aligned with the Indonesian National Disaster Management Authority (BNPB) framework. Primary data, including GPS coordinates, satellite imagery, and field surveys, were integrated with secondary data such as demographic statistics, oceanographic parameters, and historical records of abrasion events. Spatial analysis in ArcGIS was employed to evaluate vulnerability, capacity, hazard, and disaster risk indices. Results show that all villages in Napabalano District fall into the high-risk category, with Napabalano and Napalakura recording the highest risk values due to concentrated populations, limited mangrove protection, and inadequate disaster management capacity. Social and economic vulnerabilities, including high poverty ratios and dependence on coastal livelihoods, exacerbate exposure, while institutional capacity remains critically low, marked by weak early warning systems and limited community preparedness. Mitigation strategies proposed include mangrove rehabilitation, strict coastal zoning enforcement, community-based disaster preparedness programs, and the establishment of effective early warning systems. These findings highlight the urgent need for integrated, multi-stakeholder approaches to strengthen resilience against coastal abrasion. The study provides a strategic basis for local government and community planning in managing and reducing the impacts of coastal hazards in Napabalano District.

Abstract

The rapid growth of road infrastructure in Indonesia has increased the demand of construction materials and at the same time, intensified environmental issues. The study explores the potential application of nickel waste- which is a byproduct readily available to Indonesia in the smelting of nickel- as a partial replacement to coarse aggregate in porous asphalt mixtures. The research not only assesses the technical performance but also the environmental impact of the nickel waste substitution which can be regarded as a contribution to the literature on sustainable management of the construction process and the circular economy. Key parameters such as stability, flow, void content and the Marshall Quotient were tested in the laboratory and were evaluated as per the Bina Marga and SNI requirements. The results refer to the fact that nickel waste may meet a number of technical requirements, reaching an ideal concentration of asphalt into 5.5 0-100 that, at the same time, can provide waste minimization and possible cost-saving benefits. However, due to the fact that nickel slag contains heavy metals, it requires the use of strong environmental risk management, such as leaching control and stabilization technologies. These findings indicate that the use of nickel waste is more than a technical innovation; it is a strategic direction of the ability to become resource-efficient, symbiotic in the industrial industry, and to govern the operation of infrastructure in a sustainable manner. Placing industrial waste in a new category as productive input, this research sheds some light on how policy can be changed, how to innovate in procurements, and how government, industry, and academia can collaborate. The study concludes that the addition of nickel waste to the porous asphalt mixtures could help improve the performance of roads, reduce environmental ecological impacts, and promote the green infrastructure agenda in Indonesia, assuming that there are regulatory protections and a systematic environmental check-up.

Abstrak. Keberhasilan program Makanan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) tidak hanya bergantung pada implementasinya di lapangan, melainkan juga pada bagaimana wacana mengenai program ini dibangun dan disebarluaskan melalui media wacana seputar Program Makanan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) di Instagram dapat dianalisis secara kritis melalui model Norman Fairclough, yang menekankan interaksi antara teks, wacana, dan konteks sosial-budaya. Objek data pada penelitian ini yaitu postingan oleh kompas.com. Temuan penelitian ini berdasarkan tiga dimensi Fairclough yaitu, pada tingkat teks, media membingkai MBG dengan narasi personalisasi dan perayaan, mengaitkannya secara emosional dengan figur Presiden, pada tingkat praktik wacana, proses konsumsi yang terlihat dari kolom komentar menunjukkan bahwa khalayak bukanlah penerima wacana yang pasif, dan pada tingkat praktik sosial, wacana ini mereproduksi ideologi populisme dan beroperasi dalam relasi kuasa untuk mengonsolidasikan legitimasi politik pemerintah. Kata Kunci: Analisis wacana kritis, Model fairclough, pemberitaan, Instagram

Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the effectiveness of the reading guide model in improving Indonesian language learning outcomes and strengthening the character of fourth-grade students at SDN 143 Inpres Leko, Maros Regency. The background of the study is the low academic achievement, where only 30.76% of 26 students achieved the KKTP. With a pre-experimental design of one group pretest-posttest and observation, test, and documentation instruments, the analysis results showed a significant increase in the average score after the implementation of the model, evidenced by the Wilcoxon test (sig. <0.05). In addition, there was a development in student character, especially in the aspects of discipline, responsibility, and cooperation. These findings confirm that the reading guide model is effective in improving learning outcomes while shaping student character. Keywords: reading guide, learning outcomes, character   Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengkaji efektivitas model reading guide dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia dan penguatan karakter siswa kelas IV SDN 143 Inpres Leko, Kabupaten Maros. Latar belakang penelitian adalah rendahnya capaian akademik, di mana hanya 30,76% dari 26 siswa yang mencapai KKTP. Dengan desain pra-eksperimen one group pretest-posttest serta instrumen observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi, hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada nilai rata-rata setelah penerapan model, dibuktikan melalui uji Wilcoxon (sig. < 0,05). Selain itu, terjadi perkembangan karakter siswa, khususnya pada aspek disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan kerja sama. Abstract

This study examines the influence of Digital SIMPATIKA and Contemporary Madrasah Culture on teachers’ classroom management performance, both partially and simultaneously. A quantitative survey approach was applied involving 33 teachers as research participants. Data were collected through validated and reliable questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression, including partial t-tests, a simultaneous F-test, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results show that Digital SIMPATIKA (X1) has a significant positive effect on classroom management performance (t = 2.652, p = 0.013). In contrast, Contemporary Madrasah Culture (X2) does not demonstrate a statistically significant partial influence (t = 1.587, p = 0.123). However, the regression model as a whole is statistically significant (F = 40.568, p < 0.001). The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.730 (Adjusted R² = 0.712), indicating that approximately 71.2% of the variance in teachers’ classroom management performance can be explained by the two predictors in the model. These findings suggest that the utilization of Digital SIMPATIKA plays a stronger role in explaining classroom management performance than cultural factors within the context of this study.
