Abstract

This study aims to determine the creativity of teachers in overcoming the limitations of learning media. This study involved 24 fourth grade students as samples and collected data through observation and interview methods. Judging from the observations that have been made, teachers experience limitations in using learning media. However, the limitations of learning media are an obstacle in the learning process. Teachers are still required to be creative in the midst of existing limitations. From the research conducted, there is one way to increase teacher creativity in the midst of media limitations, namely using interactive powerpoint. Thus, it can be concluded that teachers are required to be creative by using interactive powerpoint in the midst of limited learning media.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Kesadaran terhadap pentingnya menjaga pola hidup sehat di wilayah pelosok merupakan fokus utama dan tanggung jawab bersama terutama bagi Institusi Pendidikan yang mengemban Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi untuk dapat melaksanakan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat sebagai bentuk kepedulian terhadap masyarakat. Desa Kuta yang terletak di wilayah pedalaman Bogor merupakan daerah yang cukup jarang diadakan program – program penyuluhan kesehatan, sehingga hal ini menjadi perhatian bagi pemangku kepentingan untuk dapat memberikan program yang berguna dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya menjaga kesehatan. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui pola penyakit umum serta memberikan penyuluhan untuk mengedukasi pola hidup sehat pada masyrakat Desa Kuta. Metode: Sebanyak 100 masyarakat Desa Kuta Megamendung Kabupaten Bogor berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan Edukasi Kesehatan, Pengecekan Kesehatan, dan Pengobatan Massal. Karakteristik responden digali dengan berkoordinasi ke perangkat desa setempat serta melakukan penyuluhan. Hasil: Sebagian besar masyarakat desa Kuta belum menerapkan pola hidup sehat, menjadikan masyarakat mengalami beberapa penyakit umum (Hipertensi, Kadar Asam Urat & Glukosa Tinggi) Kesimpulan: Hasil dari kegiatan ini menegaskan bahwa perlunya program Edukasi Kesehatan yang bersifat continued, hal ini dikarenakan sebagian warga Desa Kuta belum mampu menerapkan pola hidup sehat serta kurangnya kepekaan dan pemahaman terhadap kesehatan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the discovery learning model in thematic learning for fifth-grade elementary school students. The research employs a qualitative approach using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. Data sources consist of 20 national journal articles published between 2019 and 2024, retrieved through Google Scholar with the assistance of the Publish or Perish application. Data collection techniques involve identifying articles using keywords such as “discovery learning,” “thematic learning,” and “learning outcomes in elementary school,” followed by screening based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Selected articles focused on the application of discovery learning in grade five thematic instruction and reported measurable learning outcomes. Data analysis was conducted by reviewing, documenting, and synthesizing findings from the selected articles into descriptive narratives and summary tables. The analysis shows that the implementation of discovery learning increases students’ average learning outcomes from 60.2 to 84.5 and improves mastery levels from 38–60% to 80–100%. Moreover, students’ motivation, activeness, and critical and creative thinking skills also improved significantly. Therefore, discovery learning is recommended as an innovative pedagogical approach to enhance learning engagement and academic achievement in elementary thematic education.

Abstract

This article examines the conceptual representation of knowledge in Arabic proverbs mahfuzhat displayed on the walls of two Indonesian Islamic boarding schools (pesantren): Condong and Al-Bahjah. Employing Lakoff and Johnson’s conceptual metaphor theory and a descriptive-analytical qualitative approach, the study analyzes 10 Arabic proverbs collected through field observation, documentation, and semi-structured interviews. The findings reveal that knowledge is metaphorized as light, spiritual adornment, the path to paradise, fruitful trees, and a defining feature of humanity. These metaphors illustrate how mahfuzhat function not merely as decorative or rhetorical devices, but as pedagogical tools that foster character, discipline, and reverence for knowledge in pesantren education. The study highlights the educational and moral significance of Arabic proverbs as cultural texts and demonstrates their role in shaping the intellectual and spiritual formation of santri. This research contributes to the growing discourse on metaphor and education by foregrounding mahfuzhat as a distinct source of Islamic educational values, often overlooked in metaphor studies.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Work-Life Balance (WLB) and Job Satisfaction (JS) on Work Stress (WS) among Civil Servants (PNS) at the Alianyang Community Health Center (UPT Puskesmas Alianyang) in Pontianak City. This study employs a quantitative approach with an associative design, where data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 38 civil servants and interviews with the Head of Administration. The analytical methods used include multiple linear regression, correlation coefficient (R), coefficient of determination (R²), as well as F-test and t-test. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis indicate that the regression equation obtained is Y = 4.872 – 0.317 X1 – 0.317 X2, meaning that Work-Life Balance (X1) and Job Satisfaction (X2) have a negative influence on Work Stress (Y). The correlation coefficient analysis yielded a value of R = 0.797, indicating a strong relationship between the two independent variables (Work-Life Balance and Job Satisfaction) and Job Stress. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.636 indicates that 63.6% of the variation in Work Stress can be explained by the two variables, while 36.4% is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study. The F-test results show a significant relationship between the two independent variables and Work Stress. The t-test results indicate that Work-Life Balance (X1) and Job Satisfaction (X2) have a significant negative effect on Work Stress. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the management of the Alianyang Community Health Center pay more attention to employees' ability to balance work and family responsibilities through role management training, adaptive work policies, and internal consultation rooms. Additionally, fostering a supportive work culture among employees through team-building activities, internal discussion forums, and collaboration-based rewards is considered important to enhance job satisfaction while reducing stress. This study also recommends that further research consider additional variables such as workload, role conflict, social support, work environment, leadership style, career development, and individual characteristics to expand understanding of the factors causing work stress, particularly in the healthcare sector.

Abstract

This research using qualitative methods aims to find out students' perspective of impact in use of digital literacy in the classroom. The subject of this research was five students of SMPN 4 Sungguminasa. They were chosen using a checklist of observations. The primary method of data collection was the interview. The study's findings demonstrated that students' opinions regarding the use of digital literacy in the classroom are generally positive. Most of them think that the uses of technology in the classroom are convenience, interactive, and fun. This is aligned with the two principles of Technology acceptance models (TAM), perceive of use (PU) and perceive ease of use (PEOU). They found the use of technology make them easier to understand the lesson that given by the teacher. The only challenge they faced in the use of technology in the classroom is network problem. In conclusion the students show the acceptance of the application of technology in education.

Abstract

This study explores of the environment on Islamic education for the millennial generation in the era of globalization. The main issue addressed is how globalization and technology affect the Islamic education process. The research aims to investigate the impact of social and technological environments on the understanding and practice of religious values among millennials. The study employs a qualitative approach with literature analysis and relevant case studies. The findings indicate that millennials face significant challenges in distinguishing between traditional and modern values. Technology and social media play crucial roles in accessing and disseminating religious information, but they can also cause identity confusion and value shifts. Therefore, Islamic education needs to adapt new approaches relevant to the dynamics of globalization to maintain the essence of Islamic teachings.

Abstract

This study explains that the main idea of tolerance education lies in how everyone who comes from a different background can then be respected and accepted well so that a peaceful life can be realized in a plural and homogeneous society. To realize this, the authors put forward several principles that are used as the basis, namely: Pancasila as the basis of the state and the 1945 Constitution as well as strengthening the Koran which explains "la ikhraha fi al-din" (there is no compulsion in religion) and the sentence lakum dinukum wa liyadin (for you Your religion and mine is mine. This verse is a strong proof of the Quran's appreciation of religious pluralism, which then requires that every adherent of his religion have a moderate and tolerant.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi pemasaran syariah terhadap peningkatan penjualan pada butik pakaian muslimah di Kota Jambi, khususnya Butik Hidayatullah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh konsumen Butik Hidayatullah yang ditemui oleh peneliti. Sehingga sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 90 orang. Hasil penelitian yanag dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linier menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara strategi pemasaran syariah terhadap peningkatan penjualan. Nilai koefisien regresi adalah 0,876, yang berarti setiap kenaikan satu satuan strategi pemasaran syariah akan meningkatkan peningkatan penjualan sebesar 0,876 satuan. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R^2) adalah 0,649, yang berarti 64,9% varians peningkatan penjualan dapat dijelaskan oleh varians strategi pemasaran syariah, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti. Nilai t hitung adalah 12,756, yang lebih besar dari nilai t tabel (1,66235) pada tingkat signifikansi 0,05, sehingga hipotesis penelitian diterima. Hal ini menegaskan bahwa strategi pemasaran syariah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan penjualan pada Butik Hidayatullah di Kota Jambi.
