Abstract

Latar Belakang: Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan kurangnya kualitas pangan pada tempat pengolahan pangan seperti rumah makan adalah rendahnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman terhadap tempat pengolahan pangan seperti seperti lokasi tempat pengolahan pangan, pemilihan bahan, penyimpanan bahan, pengolahan pangan, penyimpanan pangan jadi dan penyajian. Tujuan: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran hygiene Rumah makan di lingkungan kampus pusat Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yang dilakukan dengan cara survei langsung pada lokasi penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi menggunakan checklist dan wawancara dengan jumlah sampel 29 rumah makan. Hasil: hasil penelitian diperoleh dari 29 rumah makan yang tidak memenuhi syarat berjumlah 29 rumah makan dengan presentase 100%, hygiene sanitasi area pelayanan konsumen diperoleh dari 29 rumah makan yang memenuhi syarat berjumlah 7 rumah makan dengan presentase 24,2% dan rumah makan yang tidak memenuhi syarat berjumlah 22 rumah makan dengan presentase 75,8%, hygiene sanitasi area dapur atau penyiapan pangan, yang memenuhi syarat berjumlah 17 rumah makan dengan presentase 58,6% dan rumah makan yang tidak memenuhi syarat berjumlah 12 rumah makan dengan presentase 41,4%. Dan hasil keseluruhan hygiene sanitasi rumah makan yaitu 14 rumah makan (48,3%) memenuhi syarat dan 15 rumah makan (51,7%) tidak memenuhi syarat. Dengan batas laik hygiene sanitasi ≥ 80 memenuhi syarat dan ≤80 tidak memenuhi syarat. Kesimpulan: Mayoritas rumah makan yang diteliti tidak memenuhi standar hygiene dan sanitasi yang ditetapkan. Khususnya, area pelayanan konsumen menunjukkan tingkat ketidaklayakan tertinggi dengan 75,8% rumah makan tidak memenuhi syarat.

Abstract

Mathematics learning often poses challenges due to low student interest, resulting in reduced participation and outcomes. This study aims to enhance students' learning interest through the application of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) assisted by Kahoot. Using a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach, the study was conducted in two cycles, each comprising planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Results showed an increase in students' learning interest from 51% (low) in the pre-cycle to 67% (moderate) in Cycle I, and 81% (high) in Cycle II. The findings demonstrate the effectiveness of PBL assisted by Kahoot in fostering interest and engagement in mathematics. Teachers are encouraged to integrate gamified tools like Kahoot and tailor learning strategies to students' needs.

Abstract

Conflict management in the learning process is an important aspect that has a significant impact on the quality of education. Conflicts can arise between students, between students and teachers, and between teachers and school management. Effective conflict management can improve the quality of learning and create an environment conducive to the personal and professional development of all parties. Conflict, if managed well, can trigger positive change and innovation. Several conflict management styles, such as competition, collaboration, compromise, avoidance and accommodation, are important for educators to understand in order to determine the right approach. Factors such as cultural differences, ineffective communication, and competition for resources can trigger conflict. Poorly managed conflict can decrease student motivation, engagement and achievement. Effective conflict management strategies include teacher training, emotional intelligence education, and restorative approaches. Implementing conflict management theory through these strategies can create a more harmonious, inclusive and productive learning environment, as well as improve academic outcomes and student well-being.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat eco-green project berbasis participatory action diharapkan menjadi teori mini sebagai pijakan untuk uji model serta analisis kebutuhan dalam mengembangkan model pembelajaran wirausaha sosial secara lengkap. Desain kegiatan berupa bakti sosial cinta lingkungan bekerjasama dengan mitra Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Klaten serta  pegiat eco-green mandiri di Kota Klaten. Kegiatan bakti sosial peduli lingkungan di Hari Bumi 2023 pada hari Sabtu, 17 Juni 2023 di lokasi TPA Desa Troketon, Kecamatan Pedan, Kabupaten Klaten berupa pemilahan sampah, pembuatan kompos organik, pembuatan bio pori tanah, dan gerakan cinta penghijauan melalui penanaman pohon. Hasil kegiatan diperoleh terjadi perubahan positif dan signifikan dimana uji pre-test dan post-test signifikan ada perubahan pengetahuan dan motivasi mahasiswa setelah kegiatan dengan semakin peduli mahasiswa terhadap lingkungan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan manajemen bank sampah ini bertujuan untuk menambah pengetahuan tentang nilai-nilai kearifan lokal mahasiswa terkait tata kelola kegiatan bank sampah di masyarakat bersama pendamping mitra bank sampah unggulan di Kabupaten Klaten. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui pembelajaran ketrampilan olah sisa sampah menjadi bahan kerajinan kualitas ekspor. Kegiatan ini bekerjasama dengan mitra Bank Sampah Rukun Santoso Desa Karanglo, Kecamatan Polanharjo, Kabupaten Klaten. Kegiatan pelatihan dilakukan sehari penuh, meliputi pemaparan visi misi, nilai-nilai kearifan lokal, manajemen tata kelola bank sampah, dan praktek baik ketrampilan tangan olah sampah menjadi bahan kerajinan kualitas ekspor. Hasil kegiatan diperoleh temuan terjadi perubahan positif dan signifikan dari hasil uji pre-test dan post-test, artinya ada perubahan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan mahasiswa sebelum dan sesudah mengikuti kegiatan. Hasil positif ini dibuktikan dengan munculnya beberapa mahasiswa yang bertindak menjadi inisiator dan penggerak kegiatan bank sampah di lingkungan domisili RT maupun RW masing-masing.

Abstract

The use of English is very important nowadays. As the English teachers, we have a duty to share our knowledge to the society. English training is one activity that can be applied. In Menden Village, Kebonarum District, Klaten Regency, we were held this English training to the people who live there to become the participants. This activity is aimed to foster participants’ interest in mastering English, to provide additional basic knowledge of English, and to provide a way of learning English with specific strategies. It is hoped that this activity can be useful to their daily life to face the globalization era.

Abstract

Dusun Sidorejo, Kalurahan Ngestiharjo, Kapanewon Kasihan, Kabupaten Bantul, D.I. Yogyakarta merupakan salah satu wilayah yang memiliki permasalahan pengelolaan sampah. Untuk membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut, perlu adanya pemicuan dan penyuluhan melalui Sanitasi Total Berbasis Masyarakat (STBM). Namun, masih saja ada masyarakat yang mengelola sampah dengan tidak berwawasan lingkungan, seperti dibakar, kurangnya partisipasi masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan fasilitas dari pemerintah dalam pengelolaan sampah, dan kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang STBM. Melalui Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) Komunitas, kegiatan penyuluhan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang STBM dan memicu masyarakat agar bisa mengelola sampah dengan berwawasan lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pemaparan materi dengan power point dan proyektor LCD, dengan sasaran masyarakat Dusun Sidorejo, Kapanewon Kasihan, Kabupaten Bantul. Hasil dari penyuluhan ini ialah ada pengaruh penyuluhan STBM terhadap tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat terhadap Sanitasi Total Berbasis Masyarakat (STBM) yang terlihat semua nilai responden mengalami peningkatan setelah diberi penyuluhan dan diharapkan masyarakat lebih semangat dalam pengelolaan sampah dengan berwawasan lingkungan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the managerial competence strategies of school principals in realizing child-friendly schools at SD Muhammadiyah Program Unggulan Jatipuro. The focus of this research is to explore how the principal utilizes managerial competence to create a safe, comfortable environment that supports the holistic development of children. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using thematic analysis. The results of the study show that the principal has implemented effective managerial strategies in creating a child-friendly school. Some of the efforts made include ongoing teacher training, improvement in the management of school facilities, and the implementation of an anti-bullying policy. However, there are challenges faced, such as the limited number of teachers with special skills to handle children with special needs, limited facilities, and a constrained budget. The principal also faces challenges in consistently implementing the policies on the ground. The conclusion of this study is that, despite some challenges, the implementation of the principal’s managerial strategies has had a positive impact on creating a child-friendly school. The solutions proposed by the principal, such as strengthening teacher training, enhancing cooperation with external parties, and conducting more intensive program evaluations, are expected to strengthen the implementation of the child-friendly school program. This study contributes to the development of more inclusive educational policies that support the optimal growth and development of children.

Abstract

Quantum Learning is a learning model that brings students to activities. Technological advancement is known as the 21st century era. The demands of global progress have changed the paradigm of teacher-centered learning into new student-centered learning. The four basic competencies that must be possessed in the 21st century are Critical thinking, Creativity, Communication, and Collaboration. The method used in this research is qualitative with an interview and documentation approach, using oral questions and oral answers, plus documentation that serves as supporting data so that the results can be considered valid. The results showed that in phase A, phase B, and phase C, quantum learning had been applied which included giving awards and praise to students. In phase A, contextual learning was done through concrete media. While in phases B and C, teachers try to relate the subject matter to students’ real experiences. For competency-related learning, the school provides worship facilities for all religions, so that students gain an understanding of tolerance. This is certainly in line with some of the skills needed in the 21st century, such as critical thinking, collaboration, creativity and communication. In this way, it is hoped that there will be an improvement in learning innovation at the primary school level.
