Abstract

The Big Book is a learning medium in the form of a storybook with large-sized illustrations and text. The large size is specifically designed to attract students' attention and facilitate the learning process. This study presents information about flood disasters using the Big Book as the medium. The research aims to introduce education related to flood disasters and their mitigation. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of the study are 20 children aged 5-6 years at TK IT Nada Ashobah Surabaya. Data collection techniques are based on observation, interviews, and documentation. Creswell's data analysis aims to obtain a narrative, phenomenological, grounded theory, ethnographic, and case study approach with a series of events related to human experiences. This research can be implemented in early childhood education, especially in learning related to flood disasters, to improve language skills and knowledge about flood disasters. The results of this study indicate that the Big Book medium is very effective in enhancing children's reading abilities and knowledge about flood disaster mitigation. With an attractive and interactive design, the Big Book helps children more easily recognize letters, words, and important steps in facing floods.

Abstract

Finger painting is an activity in science learning that can develop early childhood science literacy. However, the effectiveness of using finger painting is influenced by several factors. This study aims to identify and analyze factors that influence the effectiveness of using finger painting in developing early childhood science literacy. Based on a literature review, there are four main factors that can influence the effectiveness of using finger painting, namely: (1) teacher readiness in designing and implementing finger painting activities that are appropriate to the characteristics of children, (2) availability of materials and tools that support activities, (3) integration of finger painting with other science learning activities, and (4) parental involvement in supporting and continuing activities at home. These factors are interrelated and have an important role in creating effective science learning through the use of finger painting. The findings of this study can be a reference for teachers and related parties in designing and implementing finger painting as a strategy to develop science literacy in early childhood.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji ada atau tidaknya pengaruh metode demonstrasi terhadap kemampuan menggambar bentuk pada anak kelompok B yang dilatarbelakangi oleh perlunya peningkatan kemampuan menggambar bentuk pada anak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan jenis one group pretest and posttest design. Penelitian ini juga merupakan penelitian populasi dengan populasi penelitian adalah jumlah seluruhanak kelompok B TK Pertiwi II Putren Nganjuk yang berjumlah 14 orang anak. Penelitian dilaksanakan sebanyak 6 kali pertemuan dengan pretest 1 kali, treatment  6 kali, dan posttest 1 kali. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh  dari penelitian kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon melalui program komputer IBM SPSS 26. Hasil analisis penelitian menggunakan uji Wilcoxon sangat signifikan yaitu diketahui Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,001 dimana nilai tersebut lebih kecil dari nilai 0,05, (0,001 < 0,05). Sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh metode demonstrasi terhadap kemampuan menggambar bentuk pada anak kelompok B.

Abstract

Abstract The problem of malnutrition in early childhood is a global challenge that has a serious impact on children's physical, cognitive and social development. This research uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to analyze the relationship between a balanced diet, nutritional status and children's intelligence. The research results show that high-quality nutritional intake, such as protein, healthy fats, complex carbohydrates, and micronutrients (iron, iodine, and omega-3), plays an important role in supporting children's brain development and cognitive function. Interventions based on nutrition education, teacher training and community programs have been proven effective in preventing malnutrition and supporting optimal child growth and development. Integrated education for parents and teachers, strengthening micronutrient-rich nutrition programs, and regular monitoring of nutritional status are important steps to prevent malnutrition. Implementing technology-based approaches such as precision nutrition can also provide more personalized solutions in meeting children's nutritional needs. This research emphasizes the importance of multi-stakeholder collaboration in overcoming child malnutrition to support their intelligence potential in the future.

Abstract

In early childhood, the accident rate is quite high. Efforts that can be made to overcome this are by providing health education knowledge in the form of training to parents about First Aid for Child Accidents. The aim of this activity is to provide knowledge to participants so they can provide first aid for child accidents. This program provides training with lectures and discussions as well as direct practice. The participants were 6 Talia Insan Mulia family planning teachers and 50 members of the Talia Insan Mulia Family Planning Association committee. Knowledge scores were measured before and after training. The average pre test score is 65.17 while the average post test score is 92.34. From this value, there is an increase in the average value of 27.17. In conclusion, there was an increase in first aid knowledge and skills in accidents after training.

Abstract

Abstract This study explores the challenges and opportunities in providing optimal nutrition for children in the modern era, characterized by changing dietary patterns, urbanization, and technological advancements. Nutrition is crucial in supporting children's physical growth, cognitive development, and long-term health. The research employs a qualitative approach through systematic literature reviews of recent studies on child nutrition. Findings indicate that digital technologies, such as nutrition tracking apps, significantly enhance nutritional literacy and practices. A holistic approach that integrates local traditions, nutrition education, and digital technology offers sustainable solutions to combat malnutrition. This study recommends adopting digital technologies and evidence-based nutritional education to promote optimal child growth. Its contribution lies in providing a practical guide that integrates multidisciplinary approaches to simplify optimal nutrition delivery for parents.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the role of balanced nutrition in preventing stunting among children aged 4-6 years, focusing on the steps taken by schools to prevent stunting in children aged 4-6 years at TK Al Hikmah Ketapang Banyuwangi. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive statistics. The subjects of the study are children aged 4-6 years at TK Al Hikmah Ketapang Banyuwangi. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Observations were conducted directly by observing the activities of providing supplementary food at TK Al Hikmah Ketapang Banyuwangi. Interviews were conducted with the principal and one parent. Documentation involved collecting photos or other documents that support this research. The data analysis technique used data triangulation, which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the "Rabu Sehat Bermutu" program and the provision of supplementary food at TK Al Hikmah Ketapang Banyuwangi are effective steps in preventing stunting and supporting children's growth and development. This program also raises parental awareness of the importance of balanced nutrition, fosters healthy eating habits, and contributes to the development of a healthy and high-quality generation.

Abstract

Pendidikan literasi keuangan untuk anak-anak bukan hanya tentang mengenal uang, tetapi juga tentang konsep pengelolaan keuangan yang bijaksana. Anak-anak dilatih untuk mengontrol pengeluaran dan membedakan antara kebutuhan dan keinginan. Literasi keuangan juga dapat membantu mencegah perilaku korupsi, gratifikasi, dan merendahkan keuangan lainnya. Meskipun beberapa pihak berpendapat bahwa literasi keuangan sebaiknya diajarkan pada usia remaja, banyak ahli keuangan merekomendasikan untuk memulainya sejak dini. . Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian kualitatif adalah penelitian yang memungkinkan peneliti mempelajari fenomena sosial dan kultural Penelitian kualitatif melibatkan penggunaan data kualitatif seperti wawancara, dokumen dan observasi (Aditya, Kanthi, & Aminah, 2022). Sementara Pendekatan studi kasus adalah metode penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menggali fakta di lapangan secara mendalam. Tujuannya bukan hanya untuk mendeskripsikan objek penelitian, tetapi juga untuk memahami bagaimana dan mengapa suatu fenomena terjadi. Metode ini berusaha mengumpulkan data yang relevan dengan tujuan penelitian, dengan fokus pada pemahaman yang lebih luas dan menyeluruh tentang kasus yang diteliti. Berdasarkan penelitian yang sudah dilakukan, maka peneliti menarik kesimpulan bahwa, melalui serangkaian tahapan dalam pembelajaran literasi finansial menggunakan permainan Monopoli, anak-anak PAUD menunjukkan pemahaman yang signifikan tentang pengelolaan uang dan strategi keuangan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat Pengaruh Model Collaborative  Learning Melalui Permainan Rolling Marbles Terhadap Kemampuan Kognitif Dan Motorik Halus Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun. Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini memiliki peran penting dalam mengembangkan semua aspek perkembangan  anak. Kemampuan  kognitif dan motorik halus salah satu kemampuan yang harus di rangsang. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam non-equivalent group design yang terdiri dari kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen Dimana kemampuan kognitif dan motorik halus diukur melalui kegiatan pretest dan posttest. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi yang hasilnya dihitung dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 24. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model collaborative  learning melalui permainan rolling marbles memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap  kemampuan kognitif dan motorik halus anak usia 4-5 tahun. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil uji menunjukkan jawaban bahwasanya metode collaborative  learning melalui permaianan rolling marbles berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan kognitif dan motorik halus anak usia 4-5 tahun

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh Model Collaborative Learning melalui Jump Rope Game terhadap Kemampuan Motorik Kasar dan Sosial Emosional Amak Usia lima sampai enam tahun. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, ditemukan permasalahan kurangnya perkembangan yang signifikan terutama dalam kegiatan pembelajaran yang menarik dan menyenangkan bagi anak. Dalam kegiatan menggerakkan tangan secara terkoordinasi belum terbiasa dilaksanakan. Maka dari itu peneliti menggunakan permainan collaborative di dapat membantu meningkatkan perkembangan sosial emosional anak-anak usia dini, sehingga dapat tumbuh menjadi endividu yang mandiri, percaya diri, dan mampu berinterksi dengan baik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode kuantitatif, yang dilaksanakan melalui metode eksperimen untuk mengetahui variabel bebas (treatment/perlakukan) terhadap variabel terikat (hasil) dalam kondisi terkendali. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Metode collaborative learning melalui jump rope game secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap motorik kasar dan sosial emosional terhadap anak usia lima sampai enam tahun, dilihat dari hasil penelitian yang diperoleh pada subjek penelitian di atas. Terdapat perbedaan antara kelompok yang diberi jump rope game dan kelompok dengan metode belajar konvensional. Anak dengan metode collaborative learning lebih memiliki keunggulan daripada anak dengan metode belajar konvensional
