Abstract

Gender equality efforts have severe challenges. Therefore it is necessary to have a democratic system in a family as an offer of solutions in the framework of the beginning of gender equality. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach and the type of the method was field research. Data sources are several families with patrilineal, matrilineal and bilateral systems. Data collection using interview and participatory observation methods are unstructured. Data will be analyzed using Jean-Jaques Rousseau's democratic theory with John Rawls's theory of justice as a supporting theory. The results of this research are; (1) democratic system is a system that is able to found justice, freedom and equality in line with the steps of gender equality, because between democracy and gender equality have the same spirit; it’s justice, equality and freedom; (2) the role of mothers as madrastul ula is very big support in efforts to give a stimulus of justice, equality, and freedom for children in early age; (3) the implementation of the democratic system in the family can be the first step for gender equality efforts both within the family environment itself and in the other social environments. This can be showen from how the division of rights and obligations in the family that implements a democratic system that is not gender biased

Abstract

Background: The technique of examining the wrist joint to see abnormalities in the carpalia region, especially in the scaphoid os, there is a special technique, namely ulnar deviation with variations of the central ray 150 to 250 proximally. Purpose: To determine in which direction the light is to assess the optimal scaphoid anatomy. Method: data retrieval is done by shooting wrst joints with 15x and 25x proximaly rays. Result: The direction of the angular ray is 15 degrees of scapoid which is free from overlapping and more informative. Conclusion: The average value of the results of the questionnaire processing is obtained on the technique with 15o ray variation of 3.2733 with a value of 0.083.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai korelasi antara kekuatan otot tungkai dan kemampuan menembak bola dalam permainan sepak bola. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode korelasional dengan pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes dan pengukuran. Populasi dalam penelitian ini melibatkan keseluruhan jumlah siswa, terdiri dari 258 siswa laki-laki dan 282 siswi perempuan. Teknik penarikan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling, di mana 35 siswa yang memenuhi kriteria sebagai pemain bola dipilih berdasarkan pertimbangan jenis kelamin dan keahlian bermain bola dari total 258 siswa. Variabel yang diteliti melibatkan variabel bebas, yaitu kekuatan otot tungkai, dan variabel terikat, yaitu kemampuan menembak bola. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa kekuatan otot tungkai memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan kemampuan menembak bola, dan korelasinya dapat dikategorikan sebagai korelasi sedang. Nilai rxy sebesar 0,599 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, serta koefisien determinasi (r2) sebesar 0,358 atau 35,8%, menunjukkan bahwa kekuatan otot tungkai memberikan kontribusi sebesar 35,8% terhadap kemampuan menembak bola dalam permainan sepak bola

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dalam sosialisasi peraturan pertandingan dan perwasitan cabang olahraga sepak takraw. Permasalahan yang mungkin dihadapi oleh mitra dalam sosialisasi yaitu mengalami keterbatasan dalam jumlah tenaga ahli yang dapat diikutsertakan dalam sosialisasi, seperti pelatih berpengalaman atau wasit berlisensi. Sumber daya fisik seperti fasilitas pelatihan atau peralatan yang memadai bisa menjadi kendala jika tidak tersedia dalam jumlah atau kualitas yang sesuai. Mitra sering kali menghadapi masalah pendanaan yang membatasi kemampuan mereka untuk menyelenggarakan sosialisasi secara efektif, termasuk biaya untuk narasumber, materi pelatihan, dan transportasi. Mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam sosialisasi peraturan pertandingan dan perwasitan cabang olahraga sepak takraw, serta mencapai target yang diinginkan, solusi dan langkah-langkah berikut dapat diterapkan yaitu menyediakan pelatihan intensif dan sertifikasi untuk wasit dan pelatih guna meningkatkan kualitas dan jumlah tenaga ahli. Ini bisa melibatkan pelatih dari luar daerah atau ahli nasional yang berpengalaman. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa peserta memahami peraturan dengan baik setelah sosialisasi. Sebagian besar peserta dapat menerapkan pengetahuan tersebut dalam latihan dan pertandingan. Ada peningkatan dalam penerapan peraturan dan teknik perwasitan dalam pertandingan yang diadakan setelah sosialisasi, dengan pengamatan adanya keputusan yang lebih konsisten dan adil. Survei menunjukkan bahwa 90% peserta menyatakan puas dengan materi pelatihan, kualitas narasumber, dan fasilitas yang disediakan selama program. Dari jumlah tersebut, 60% menyatakan sangat puas, sementara 30% merasa cukup puas. Sebaliknya, 10% peserta merasa belum sepenuhnya memahami materi yang disampaikan dan membutuhkan penjelasan lebih lanjut. Socialization of Match Regulations and Refereeing Sepak Takraw Sports Branch  Abstract The purpose of this community service is to improve understanding in the socialization of the rules of the match and refereeing of the sepak takraw sport. Problems that partners may face in socialization are experiencing limitations in the number of experts who can be included in the socialization, such as experienced coaches or licensed referees. Physical resources such as adequate training facilities or equipment can be obstacles if they are not available in the appropriate quantity or quality. Partners often face funding issues that limit their ability to conduct socialization effectively, including costs for resource persons, training materials, and transportation. To overcome the problems faced in the socialization of the rules of the match and refereeing of the sepak takraw sport, and to achieve the desired targets, the following solutions and steps can be applied, namely providing intensive training and certification for referees and coaches to improve the quality and number of experts. This can involve coaches from outside the region or experienced national experts. The evaluation results showed that participants understood the rules well after the socialization. Most participants were able to apply this knowledge in training and matches. There was an increase in the application of the rules and refereeing techniques in matches held after the socialization, with observations of more consistent and fair decisions. Satisfaction surveys showed that around 90% of participants were satisfied with the training materials, speakers, and facilities provided. And 10% did not really understand the material explained. Many participants felt that the socialization met their needs and provided added value.

Abstract

Chlorophyll-a has an important role in determining the trophic status and estimation of the fertility level of waters. The aim of this study was to analyze the variability of the concentration of chlorophyll-a on the coast of Southwest Aceh. This study uses remote sensing technology using Aqua MODIS imagery, the image used is an annual Level 3 Standard Mapped Image (SMI) chlorophyll-a image with a period of 7 years from 2015 to 2021 and has a spatial resolution of 4 km. The image is processed using software, namely SeaDAS and ArcMap. The results of this study showed that the distribution of the highest annual chlorophyll-a concentration was in 2019 at 0.29 – 2.27 mg/m3, and the lowest chlorophyll-a concentration was found in 2020 ranging from 0.29 – 1.02 mg/m3. The average concentration of chlorophyll-a in Southwest Aceh waters for 7 years (2015-2021) shows a low chlorophyll-a concentration ranging from 0.29 to 1.22 mg/m3 and belongs to oligotrophic and mesotrophic waters.

Abstract

The very fast spreading process of COVID-19 has made this virus a pandemic in various countries. To reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus, it is mandatory for everyone to follow health protocol rules such as social distancing and wearing masks. The health protocol examination is carried out by special personnel before entering the mandatory area to use a mask, which of course this examination will require more energy and cannot be done every time. In this study, a tool was made that could detect health protocols which would later reduce the workload of special workers. This tool can detect the use of masks on a person, which is made using the MobileNetV2 architecture and the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method that classifies people as not wearing masks and wearing masks. This tool uses the Raspberry Pi as a mini computer which is the main brain by adding a camera sensor to detect someone using a mask in real-time, RGB LEDs as a marker of whether the mask is detected or not, and the LCD as a display when the system is running. The effective distance that can detect the use of masks is as far as 30-200 cm.

Abstract

The research is based on the effectiveness of the application of new learning methods that are widely practiced in Indonesia, namely the online learning system. The background of this research is the mandatory use of online learning methods regarding the spread of the Covid-19 virus. So that all educational institutions regardless of whether or not they are able to implement online learning are forced to use online learning methods. This research aims to find out how the online learning process of Arabic language subjects. The subjects of this study were the students of class 4D at SD Muhammadiyah Gisting, totaling 27 people. The method that researchers use is descriptive qualitative, the data collection techniques that researchers use are observation, documentation and questionnaires. The results of this study are more than 50% of parents and students feel that this online learning method is ineffective and does not provide satisfactory results, and there are many hopes that learning will return to using the old learning method due to the many problems experienced by teachers, parents and students during this online learning. The biggest problem is the unequal ownership of online learning facilities, students who come from various economic circles result in some students not having facilities that must be used in online learning, some others have to share with family members who also have a need for these facilities. So based on the results of the research that the researcher has done, the researcher concludes that teachers, parents and students agree that online learning methods are not effectively used in Arabic language learning, especially at Muhammadiyah Gisting Elementary School.

Abstract

The background of this research needs to research the correlation of memorizing Al-Qur'an with learning achievement in Arabic. The researcher takes the formulation of this problem, namely is there a relationship between memorization of the Qur'an and achievement in Arabic?. This study aims to determine how strong the correlation between memorizing the Qur'an and learning achievement in Arabic and how significant is the relationship between memorizing the Qur'an and learning achievement in Arabic. The results of this study are expected to be an input for the development of science as well as information. which is useful. This study uses quantitative research, this research design uses a correlation design. This research was conducted at SMP Qur'an Darul Ikhlas Pringsewu. The sample of this study was 23 students from class VIII who were determined using non-probability sampling techniques with saturated sampling technique sampling. The data analysis technique uses the Product Moment correlation analysis technique. From the research results obtained a correlation coefficient value of 0.46 which is interpreted in the interpretation table that the value is in the interval 0.40 - 0.70 with the criteria between X and Y variables there is a moderate or sufficient correlation. It is known that the value of df = 21 with a significance level of 5% is obtained a value of 0.433. So it can be concluded that the "r" count is greater than the "r" table, at a significance level of 5% (0.46> 0433). Thus the null hypothesis (H_0) is rejected, while the alternative hypothesis (H_a) is accepted. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the knowledge of teachers, students and other researchers that the level of memorization of the Qur'an can affect learning achievement in Arabic.

Abstract

Potensi Indonesia yang besar terhadap energi surya akan sangat efektif untuk dikenalkan sejak dini dalam menumbuhkan minat terhadap energi terbarukan di masa depan. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk menciptakan suasana belajar sambil bermain (Game Based Learning) pada materi energi terbarukan yang interaktif dengan menggunakan solar toys. Permasalahan di sekolah yang belum tersedia media/ prototype energi terbarukan, maka kegiatan ini menjadi alternatif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa. Untuk mencapai tujuan dari kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam 3 tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi kegiatan dengan metode ceramah, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Tim pengabdi mengenalterapkan media belajar sambil bermain (game based learning) dalam perakitan mobil mainan berenergi surya yang dapat diaplikasi secara lansung di bawah cahaya matahari. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan yang telah dilakukan, terlihat siswa sangat antusias dan memiliki minat yang tinggi untuk merakit mainan berenergi surya. Keberhasilan merakit mainan dan dapat berjalan di bawah cahaya matahari menimbulkan semangat belajar yang tinggi tentang energi terbarukan. Terbukti saat evaluasi terhadap siswa di akhir kegiatan, siswa mampu menjawab pertanyaan seputar materi dan kebermanfaatan energi terbarukan dengan baik. Harapannya, setelah kegiatan PPM ini dilaksanakan dapat menumbuhkan minat sejak dini siswa terhadap energi terbarukan dan akan dimanfaatkan di masa yang akan datang.

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi saat ini yang pesat, membuat kita manja akan perkembangan teknologi yang membuat banyak hal menjadi praktis dan instan, dan para generasi melupakan ciri khas pengobatan tradisional Indonesia contoh saja obat, saat ini kita sering mengkonsumsi obat yang belum tentu bebas dari bahan kimia seperti yang beredar dipasaran kita dapat dengan mudah mendapatkan obat, padahal obat tradisional merupakan obat warisan leluhur kita yang memiliki khasiat tidak kalah dengan obat berbahan yang banyak beredar dipasaran. Dengan adanya teknologi tersebut sangat mendukung untuk sebuah aplikasi yang bertujuan untuk melestarikan budaya penggunaan obat tradisional Indonesia, dengan adanya aplikasi tersebut maka masyarakat akan, dengan mudah mendapatkan informasi tentang resep obat tradisional Indonesia, dikarenakan hampir semua masyarakat Indonesia menggunakan mobile phone android maka penulis mengangkat permasalahan ini
