Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil observasi yang dilakukan peneliti di SMP Negeri 17 Padang. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan, keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) kelas VII masih tergolong rendah. Meskipun sekolah telah menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka yang berpusat pada siswa, pelaksanaannya belum optimal. Hal ini terlihat dari kurangnya keterlibatan siswa selama proses pembelajaran yang disebabkan oleh penggunaan media pembelajaran yang kurang menarik dan masih didominasi oleh teks. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan media pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan kontekstual, salah satunya melalui penggunaan film pendek. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D). Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model 4D (Define, Design, Development, dan Disseminate). Data penelitian diperoleh melalui uji validitas oleh ahli media dan ahli materi, serta uji praktikalitas melalui angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berupa film pendek yang dikembangkan memperoleh tingkat validitas sebesar 96% pada tahap awal, kemudian meningkat menjadi 98,5% dan 97,5% setelah dilakukan revisi oleh ahli media. Selanjutnya, hasil validasi dari ahli materi memperoleh persentase sebesar 94,5% dengan kategori sangat valid. Adapun hasil uji praktikalitas dari respon siswa menunjukkan persentase sebesar 95% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil uji validitas dan praktikalitas tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berupa film pendek pada mata pelajaran PPKn kelas VII SMP telah memenuhi kriteria sangat valid dan sangat praktis, sehingga layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan pemahaman siswa.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang ditemukan di lapangan yaitu sebagian siswa kelas X SMKN 1 Bukit Sundi kurang aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, guru belum menggunakan media pembelajaran interaktif Teka-Teki Silang (TTS) dalam proses pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran Sejarah. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran Teka-Teki Silang (TTS) pada mata pelajaran Sejarah kelas X SMK. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif quasi eksperimen, menggunakan dua kelas yang terdiri dari 30 orang masing-masing kelas. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan tes dalam bentuk objektif sebanyak 20 butir soal. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji normalitas, homogenitas dan uji-t. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata kelompok eksperimen sebesar 86,83 lebih tinggi dari rata-rata kelompok kontrol sebesar 79,67. Dari analisis uji-t diperoleh thitung > ttabel dengan taraf signifikan 0,05. Maka disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Sejarah kelas X SMKN 1 Bukit Sundi

Abstract

The curriculum is the basic structure in education that guides what, how, and why learning takes place. Learning theories provide an important psychological and pedagogical foundation for designing and developing curricula to be more effective and relevant. This article reviews the current literature on the relationship between curriculum analysis and development and learning theories, including behaviorism, cognitivism, constructivism, connectivism, and adult learning theory. The main objective is to evaluate how these theories are integrated into curriculum development, supporting and inhibiting factors, and recommendations for adaptive and innovative curriculum practices. The method used is a systematic literature review of articles from international and national databases from 2010 to 2025. The findings show that although current curriculum construction is largely influenced by constructivism and active learning theory, the application of more formal theories such as behaviorism and connectivism also appears, especially in the context of higher education and online learning. The main obstacles include a lack of understanding of the theory by curriculum designers, limited resources, cultural resistance, and technical challenges. The conclusion states that effective curriculum development requires in-depth contextual analysis, explicit integration of learning theory, stakeholder involvement, and continuous evaluation.

Abstract

Parents’ Ability to Choose School reflects a complex decision-making process that goes beyond administrative considerations and involves social, cultural, economic, and environmental factors. This study aims to examine the effects of socio-cultural factors, economic conditions, and environmental conditions on parents’ Ability to School Choose, as well as to test the moderating role of socio-cultural factors. A quantitative explanatory design was employed with data collected from parents in Payakumbuh City, West Sumatra, using an online questionnaire. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling. The results indicate that sociocultural factors and environmental conditions have significant effects on parents’ ability to choose a school, while economic factors do not show a significant direct effect. Furthermore, sociocultural factors significantly moderate the relationship between environmental conditions and the ability to choose a school but do not moderate the relationship between economic factors and the ability to choose a school. These findings highlight the dominant role of the sociocultural context in shaping school choice decisions and underscore the importance of culturally sensitive educational policies.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the practicality of interactive multimedia teaching materials in integrated thematic learning using a STEM approach in elementary schools. This type of research is development research using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Data collection techniques in practicality tests use practicality questionnaires by educators and students. The data in this practicality instrument uses a practicality formula which is analyzed quantitatively. Based on the results of the practicality test, the interactive multimedia teaching materials with the STEM approach that were developed are included in the very practical category with the percentage of practicality test obtained by teachers with an average score of 97%, very practical and the practicality test obtained by students with an average score of 89%, very practical category. It can be concluded that interactive multimedia teaching materials based on the STEM approach meet the criteria for being very practical
