Abstract

This research aims to develop android-based interactive learning media that meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness for Mathematics class XII IPA. This media is expected to increase students' understanding, motivation, and independence in learning in order to achieve optimal learning outcomes. The method used is Research and Development with the ADDIE approach, which includes the stages of analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The main data sources came from validators, teachers, and students, analyzed descriptively to measure aspects of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the media. The validation results showed a high level of feasibility, with a score of 98% for media aspects, 85% for materials, and 95% for language. The practicality of the media was also rated very high by 99% teachers and 94% students. The effectiveness test resulted in a gain score value of 0.68 categorized as high, and the t-test showed difference between the pre-test and post-test results (Sig. 0.000 <0.05), evidenced by a significant increase in the average student learning outcomes, from 67.00 to 90.00. Based on these findings, this interactive media is feasible to be used in learning mathematics class XII IPA SMA as a means to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The urgency of this study stems from the lack of interactive and contextual learning media in early-grade mathematics, which limits students’ creativity. This research aimed to develop an electronic module based on Problem-Based Learning to enhance the creative thinking skills of second-grade elementary students, particularly in learning simple fractions. Employing a research and development approach using the Plomp model, the study consisted of three phases: preliminary research, prototyping, and assessment. Data were collected through expert validation, questionnaires, and student performance assessments, then analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques. The results showed that the developed e-module was valid based on expert judgment (average validity score > 0.90), practical according to teacher and student responses (average practicality > 85%), and effective in improving creativity, as evidenced by increased scores in fluency, flexibility, and originality (mean score 80.44%). The findings indicate that integrating Problem-Based Learning into digital modules can significantly support the development of students' creativity and engagement in mathematics. This innovation offers practical implications for curriculum-aligned learning media and supports the development of 21st-century skills. Further research is recommended to explore broader applications and incorporate adaptive digital features.

Abstract

This research aims to produce learning video media for SKI Class VII MTsN subjects that are valid and practical. This type of research is development research, known as Research and Development (R&D), using the 4-D development model. The development procedure in this research consists of 4 stages, namely, (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Develop, (4) Disseminate. The product validity test was carried out by 3 validators, namely 1 material validator and 2 media validators. Product trials were carried out on class VII students at MTsN 5 Tanah Datar with the aim of finding out the practicality of the product being developed. The results of material validation by material expert validators obtained an average of 4.94 in the "very valid" category. The results of the media validator assessment with validator I obtained an average of 4.93 in the "very valid" category and the validation results with validator II obtained an average of 4.93 in the "very valid" category. This learning multimedia is said to be practical based on the results of the practicality test with an average of 4.5. Based on the results of the validity test and practicality test, it can be concluded that learning multimedia in PAI subjects for class IV elementary school is suitable for use in learning

Abstract

Social media can be used as a modern learning resource, one of which is the Instagram application. Because users can access learning content from experts or users with certain areas of knowledge and skills. Instagram is a source of learning because the content presented entertains and educates students. This study aims to describe the availability of Instagram content, the relevance of Instagram content, and the improvement of individual learning in students. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research, the sample of this research is 40 students in grade XI. Data collection using a closed questionnaire with 30 questions. The results of the study concluded that the perception of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Painan towards the use of the Instagram application as a learning resource in Physics subjects was reviewed from the availability of Instagram content of 78%, which was in the strong category, while in terms of the relevance of Instagram Content 78.55% was also in the strong category, and in terms of increasing individual learning, 77.3% was also categorized as strong. Based on the above findings, it can be concluded that Instagram has become a significant learning resource in Physics Learning. Varied and creative Instagram content can help students learn and can motivate students

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of block system learning with a project-based learning approach on the work readiness of students of the culinary skills program of SMKN 9 Padang. The population in this study is class XII students in 2024. The sample of this study is 55 respondents. Data collection in this study uses observation, interview and questionnaire techniques using a Likert scale. This study uses descriptive analysis, classical assumption test, multiple regression analysis and hypothesis test. The results of the study showed that block system learning (X1) did not have a significant effect with a calculation result of -5.324 on the work readiness of students (Y). Project-based learning (X2) had a positive and significant effect with a calculation result of 10,377 on students' work readiness (Y). Block system learning (X1) with significant project-based learning (X2) together (Silmutan) had a positive effect with an Fcal result of 55.140 with a sig of 0.00 on students' work readiness (Y)

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka and obstacles in the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka at SMP Negeri 1 Banuhampu. The study of the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka at SMP Negeri 1 Banuhampu can be carried out using a qualitative approach with a descriptive research method. The data collection technique uses observation, interview, and documentary research techniques to collect data from participants (including principals, curriculum representatives and teachers) involved in the implementation of the self-directed learning program at SMP Negeri 1 Remaja. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the Kurikulum Merdeka has been implemented as expected. However, in its implementation, teachers need guidance, including attending training sessions at schools to learn more about the Kurikulum Merdeka and continuing to activate the learning community to identify shortcomings and things that need to be improved. In learning, the teachers have carried out the learning process according to the Kurikulum Merdeka and prepared learning tools starting from Learning Outcomes (CP), Learning Objectives Flow (ATP), Learning Objectives (TP), and teaching modules. Obstacles in the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka are human resources who do not understand the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka and inadequate facilities and infrastructure at SMP Negri 1 Banuhampu so that it slows down the learning process in the classroom.

Abstract

Based on observations of the learning process carried out at SDN 18 Balimbing, the learning process in science subjects is still teacher centred. In this case the teacher still explains the learning material from beginning to end, where students are not involved in the process of discussing the material. When the teacher is explaining the material, there is no student involvement in discussing the material, not all students pay attention and lack concentration in listening to the teacher's explanation and there are also students who carry out other activities that are not related to the current learning. This type of research is quantitative research using a Quasy Experiment approach. The population in this study was class V students at SDN 18 Balimbing. The samples for this research were class V.A as the experimental class and V.B as the control class, each consisting of 16 students. The data collection technique uses a test in the form of 40 objective questions, then the resulting data obtained is analyzed using the t-test. The results of this research show that the average score for the experimental class is 80.62, while the average score for the control class is 67.81. Based on the t-test calculation, the tcount ˃ ttable value is 3.364 ˃ 2.042, meaning there is a significant difference in learning outcome values ​​at the significance level ɑ 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the Flipped Classroom learning model influences learning outcomes in class V science and science subjects at SDN 18 Balimbing

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools (SD-IT) in Koto Baru District, Dharmasraya Regency. The Independent Curriculum was introduced by the government in 2021 as an effort to restore learning affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and improve the quality of education through a project-based learning approach. This study evaluates teacher readiness, the implementation process, and the impact on student motivation in the implementation of this curriculum. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The research population is based on a sample taken from data obtained in the form of numbers. In this study, the samples taken were 64 teachers and 33 Class V students at SD IT Al-Ihsan, SD-IT Al Bina, and SD-IT Sakinah. Data collection was carried out using a closed questionnaire that had previously been validated to experts (judgment experts). The data obtained in the field was analyzed descriptively. The results of the research on teachers and students of SD-IT in Koto Baru Dharmasraya District show that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum for teachers and students has been very good with an average score of 85.68% for teachers and 87.27% for students

Abstract

The importance of learning Informatics is not only limited to mastering techniques and practical skills in technology development, but also in forming students' self-efficacy or self-confidence in overcoming challenges and solving problems in the digital world. This study aims to analyze the influence of Scratch programming language on informatics subjects to improve the self-efficacy of grade VIII students at SMP 8 Padang. This type of research is quantitative research with an experimental method. The design used in this research is a Quasi Experimental Design in the form of a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The data collection technique used is a Likert scale questionnaire. The experimental group used the scratch programming language with a total of 32 students, and the control group used the blookly programming language with a total of 32 students. For hypothesis testing, this study uses t-test statistics with a significant level of 5% (= 0.05) and N-Gain test. The results of the study showed that the use of scratch programming language influenced the self-efficacy of grade VIII students of SMP 8 Padang with a significance value of 0.001. This means a significant t-value (p = 0.001 < 0.005). In the N-Gain analysis, the experimental class experienced an increase in self-efficacy score of 0.54 (medium category), while the control class only 0.07 (low category)

Abstract

The main problem is the low learning outcomes of students, which is caused by the lack of variety in teaching methods and the lack of use of digital media. This study aims to determine the influence of the use of animation as a learning medium for science and technology on the learning outcomes of grade V students at SD Negeri 08 Kampung Batu Dalam. The study used a quasi-experimental method with a posttest only control group design, involving students in grades V.a and V.b, each totaling 21 people. The data collection technique uses tests. Analysis of test result data using t-test. The results of the analysis showed that students who learned using animation obtained a higher average score (70.71) compared to students who used traditional methods (55.48). This proves that animation is effective in improving students' understanding and learning outcomes on human circulatory system materials that are abstract and require visualization
