Abstract

Digital Business Transformation is a crucial adaptation for organizations to remain competitive in the digital age. It involves leveraging digital tools and technologies to alter operations, customer interactions, and value delivery. This analysis aims to investigate the impact of digital business on organizational resilience, exploring the interplay between digital transformation, adaptive culture, frugal innovation, organizational learning, and organizational resilience. In order to investigate casual linkages, this study takes a quantitative method and gathers data using questionnaires, with a sample size of 295 respondents in a range of jobs within contracting organizations, the study focusses on contractors in Indonesia. This analysis result showing that the digital business transformation can enhance the organizational resilience by improving creativity, efficiency and the agility. Beside this, digital transformation also can boost all the job productivity with the frugal innovation which this can helping organization for adapting from sudden shocks of market volatility.  With the digital business transformation, a company can have the adaptive culture for the organizational resilience on the responding for internal and external changes where the company will have better anticipate further changes. Furthermore, digital transformation can facilitate cost-effective solutions and strategic planning for dealing with challenges for a company.

Abstract

Purpose of This study used work engagement as a mediating variable to investigate how transformational leadership, job satisfaction, and organizational support affect performance. This study is unusual in that it uses work engagement as a mediating variable to identify a new concept of organizational support, job satisfaction, and transformational leadership on employee performance. The population in this study were Civil Servants (PNS) in the Riau Islands Provincial Government, totaling 4,828 people. The number of samples was 370 people. The results of the study showed that all indicator items had a loading factor value > 0.7 so that all questionnaire statement items were declared valid. In the validity test, the Average Variance Extracted (AVE) value ≥ 0.5 means that the construct is said to be valid. Then in the reliability test, the value of Cronbach's Alpha> 0.7 so that the data is said to be reliable. The coefficient of determination (R2) value of the Performance variable has a contribution of 0.448 (44.8%) and Work Engagement 0.572 (57.2%). The conclusion of this study will contribute by observing and feedback, assistance, and ideas to decision makers regarding how transformational leadership, organisational support, job satisfaction, and employee work engagement will affect employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the social dynamics between regular students and students with special needs at Sekolah Dasar Alam Karawang, to analyze the factors influencing social interactions in inclusive classrooms, and to describe the strategies used by teachers to facilitate positive social interactions between both groups. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the social dynamics between regular students and students with special needs in inclusive classrooms are varied. Regular students generally show curiosity and a willingness to help, while students with special needs—such as those with ADHD, autism, and cerebral palsy—face challenges in communication, emotional regulation, and social behavior. Interaction barriers are also influenced by the lack of understanding among regular students about the concept of inclusion, which often leads to negative attitudes. However, with proper guidance and sustained interaction, empathy and acceptance can be developed. Teachers play a crucial role in creating an inclusive environment through collaborative learning strategies, heterogeneous grouping, and providing education on diversity to all students.

Abstract

Kota Batam merupakan kota dengan berbagai jenis industri yang terdiri dari 26 kawasan industri. Banyaknya jenis industri selaras dengan banyaknya lapangan usaha yang membutuhkan perusahaan jasa. CV Techno Air Sunjaya merupakan perusahaan jasa kontruksi bangunan elektrikal yang sudah melakukan banyak proyek di beberapa perusahaan di Kota Batam. Berdasarkan kegiatan wawancara dan observasi yang dilakukan terhadap pemilik mitra bahwa penilaian kinerja karyawan yang diterapkan masih belum tepat dan tidak terdapat pencatatan khusus hasil penilaian kinerja. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini menjadi sarana pengembangan wawasan manajemen SDM bagi mitra untuk memahami pentingnya penerapan sistem penilaian kinerja karyawan yang baik. Metode yang dilakukan menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan media instrumen berupa wawancara dan observasi. Hasil pengabdian dilihat dengan adanya perubahan yang signifikan dimana penilaian kinerja yang terstruktur dengan kaidah penilaian yang jelas sehingga dapat menganalisa kekurangan dan karyawan berdasarkan pengelompokkan aspek tertentu seperti hasil kerja, proses kerja hingga efektifitas kerja yang dihasilkan oleh karyawan

Abstract

This study is motivated by the important role of organizational culture, human resources, and transformational leadership in improving the performance of the shipping logistics industry, especially in the Batam area. The logistics industry faces great challenges in maintaining efficiency and competitiveness, so this study aims to understand how these factors interact and influence company performance. Involving 330 respondents selected through purposive sampling technique, the G-Form questionnaire was distributed through social media and in person. Data analysis was conducted quantitatively using SmartPLS software. The results showed that four hypotheses regarding the direct relationship between variables were accepted, while one hypothesis was rejected. For the indirect relationship, two hypotheses were rejected, and no significant mediation effect was found. In conclusion, organizational culture, human resources, and transformational leadership have different influences on the performance of the shipping logistics industry. Further research is recommended to consider social and environmental factors that may also have a significant impact.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan yang dimediasi oleh kepuasan kerja pada usaha mikro kecil menengah (UMKM) di Kota Batam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan media kuisioner. Sampel yang digunakan terdiri dari 250 karyawan yang bekerja pada berbagai UMKM. Data yang telah dikumpulkan diproses dengan menggunakan metode SEM-PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Variabel gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, namun motivasi kerja dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Variabel kepuasan kerja berpengaruh secara positif tapi tidak dapat memediasi gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk menguji pengaruh dari Ukuran Bank, Kredit, Kredit Bermasalah, Modal, Produk Domestik Bruto pada pengambilan risiko Bank. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh dari laporan keuangan perbankan selama 5 periode, dari tahun 2018–2022 yang diunduh di situs www.idx.co.id. Untuk jumlah sample yang digunakan sebanyak 50 data dari 10 entitas subsektor perbankan, setelah dilakukan purposive sampling dengan jenis data sekunder. Hasil penelitian menggunakan PYTHON yang menunjukkan bahwa ukuran bank (SIZE) dan kredit bermasalah (NPL) berpengaruh negatif terhadap pengambilan risiko bank. Sedangkan untuk kredit (LDR), modal (CAR), dan produk domestik bruto (PDB) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengambilan risiko Bank.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kepemimpinan transformasional, manajemen bakat, dan ketahanan organisasi sebagai faktor peningkatan kinerja organisasi pada industri manufaktur. Industri manufaktur dalam setiap aktivitas pekerjaan dan proses produksi pasti mempunyai resiko yang bahaya. Dalam hal ini, banyak industri manufaktur yang kekurangan tenaga kerja sehingga kesulitan mempertahankan dan mencari tenaga kerja yang terampil. Fokus penelitian ini adalah pekerja di industri manufaktur di Kota Batam. Dalam penelitian ini, data dikumpulkan dari responden melalui kuesioner. Sebanyak 198 responden terkumpul. Penelitian ini menggunakan random sampling dalam pemilihan sampel. Program PLS-SEM digunakan untuk menguji penelitian penulis.

Abstract

In an era of business characterized by uncertainty and rapid change, organizations are required to adapt and innovate to maintain their relevance and competitiveness. This article focuses on the relationship between environmental uncertainty, organizational agility, and innovation in the hotel industry. The aim of this research is to analyze how technological developments, external factors, and adaptation strategies influence an organization's ability to cope with environmental uncertainty. We also explore the role of information technology and data analysis in helping organizations enhance their responsiveness to the changing dynamics of the business environment. The results of this research provide valuable theoretical and practical insights for organizational leaders and business practitioners to develop effective adaptation strategies and improve organizational performance in facing the challenges of a dynamic business environment.

Abstract

Desa Wisata merupakan salah satu objek wisata di Kota Batam yang mendukung tujuan Pembangunan berkelanjutan. Peningkatan jumlah pengunjung yang datang di Desa Wisata memberikan dampak yang cukup besar untuk mendukung ekonomi masyarakat yang tinggal di Desa Wisata. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk membantu pengelola Desa Wisata Kampung Tua Bakau Serip Mangrove Pandang Tak Jemu dalam meningkatkan jumlah pengunjung yang datang untuk melakukan wisata edukasi mangrove dengan pemanfaatan sosial media yang maksimal. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan melakukan kegiatan observasi lapangan dan observasi media sosial lebih dulu untuk mengetahui Tingkat pemanfaatan sosial media pada Desa Wisata Bakau Serip. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara kooperatif, yaitu dosen, mahasiswa, serta mitra yang merupakan pengelola desa wisata. Hasil dari kegiatan ini dosen dan mahasiswa membantu pengelola desa wisata untuk merancang konten sosial media yang menarik sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan untuk memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat Batam tentang wisata edukasi mangrove di Kecamatan Nongsa, Kelurahan Sambau.
