Abstract

Mengkonsumsi minyak lemuru dan minyak sawit secara terus menerus, diduga dapat menyebabkan kerusakan mikroanatomi hati. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui struktur mikroanatomi hati dan kadar kolesterol total plasma darah tikus putih strain Wistar paska suplementasi minyak lemuru dan minyak sawit. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental, dengan rancangan acak lengkap. Penelitian menggunakan 25 ekor tikus usia ± 3 bulan. Masing-masing diberi minyak sawit dan minyak lemuru sebanyak 0%+0%, 5%+5%, 10%+10%, 15%+15%, dan 20%+20% secara per oral selama 28 hari. Data kadar kolesterol total plasma darah, berat badan tikus dan berat hati tikus dianalisis secara kuantitatif menggunakan ANAVA satu arah, dengan tingkat kesalahan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian minyak sawit dan minyak lemuru bersifat toksik terhadap hati dan dapat menurunan kadar kolesterol total plasma darah. Sifat toksik minyak lemuru dan minyak sawit terhadap hati dapat dilihat dari adanya perubahan struktur mikroanatomi hati, makroskopis hati tikus, dan berat hati tikus. Kerusakan struktur mikroanatomi hati yang ditemukan berupa kerusakan sel hati (nekrosis hati) serta melebarnya sinusoid. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah pemberian minyak sawit dan minyak lemuru mengakibatkan kerusakan mikroanatomi berupa nekrosis sel hati, sehingga mempengaruhi makroskopis hati (perubahan tekstur dan warna), berat hati, dan mempengaruhi berat badan tikus.Consuming lemuru oil and palm oil continuously could be expected to cause damage to the liver micro-anatomy. This study aimed to determine the micro-anatomy structure of liver and blood plasma total cholesterol level of white rats Wistar strain by post-oil supplementation of lemuru and palm oil. This research was experimental, with a completely randomized design. The research used 25 mice aged ± 3 months. Each was given a palm oil and lemuru oil as much as 0%+0%, 5%+5%, 10%+10%, 15%+15%, and 20%+20% orally for 28 days. Blood plasma levels of total cholesterol, body weight of rats and mice liver weight quantitatively analyzed using one-way ANOVA, with an error rate of 5%. The results showed that the palm oil and lemuru oil was toxic to the liver and decreased the blood plasma total cholesterol levels. Toxicological properties lemuru oil and palm oil to the liver can be seen from the change in the micro-anatomy structure of heart, liver macroscopic rat, and mouse liver weight. Micro-anatomy structural damage on liver cells were found in the form liver necrosis as well as the widening of the sinusoid. The conclusion of this study was the provision of palm oil and lemuru oil was caused damage to microscopic liver cell necrosis form, thus affecting the macroscopic liver (changes in texture and color), a heavy heart, and affect the body weight of rats.

Abstract

Learning with the 2013 curriculum requires the use of various learning resources, learning media and teaching materials that vary to support the learning process.. These results of the students being constrained in learning the material because the material in the book is too little, so it is difficult to understand. This study aims to analyze the effect of PBL-based supplementary teaching materials on the concept mastery and health care attitude. This study used a quasi-experimental method with nonequivalent control group research design. The samples used were VA and VB SDIT Tazkia Insani classes. The instruments used were tests, attitude scale sheets, observation sheets, interviews, and notes. The results showed that after being given action in the experimental class, students' concept mastery and health care attitudes increased. The conclusions of this study are 1) PBL-based supplementary teaching materials on human respiration affect mastery of concepts. 2) Supplements of PBL-based teaching materials on human respiration influence health care attitudes. 3) Supplements of PBL-based teaching materials on human respiration have a received a positive response from teachers and students. 4) Supplements of PBL-based teaching materials on human respiration have a relationship between concept mastery and health care attitudes

Abstract

The problem of free sex among adolescents is increasing from year to year, this is because teenagers do not understand and care less about the health of the reproductive organs. The research aims to increase understanding and caring attitude towards the health of the reproductive organs. The development of the sex education model is carried out using the ADDIE development model through 5 stages, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Teaching materials use the Flipbuilder application, the use of the application is expected to make it easier for students to learn. This research also developed other learning tools in the form of lesson plans, syllabi, and other learning assessments. the results of device development obtained reproductive system teaching materials that are valid and suitable for use. The results of the questionnaire from material experts reached 89% (very high), while the validation of teaching materials experts reached 90.48% (very high). At the implementation stage, the effectiveness of the sex education model with teaching materials using the flip-builder application was obtained based on an understanding of 87 (very good). The attitude of students towards caring for the health of the reproductive organs is 65% (good). Students' responses during the biology learning process in class using the sex education model and flip-builder application teaching materials said the students were good to be implemented in class

Abstract

This study aims to develop and produce an instrument for assessing students' communication skills and creativity in the Chempreneurship course. This research is a development research that uses the 4D model. This assessment instrument contains a theoretical description, a lattice of communication and creativity skills assessment instruments and communication and creativity skills assessment sheets that have been validated by experts and tested. The results of this study are a communication skills and creativity research instrument that is feasible to use, valid, and reliable. The instrument is declared fit for use if the results of the expert appraisal test with CVI obtain a score of ≥ 0.8. The results of the expert appraisal test for communication instruments with CVI obtained a score of 0.88 and a creativity instrument of 0.90. The results of the development testing of the communication skills instrument obtained 16 items, which were declared valid and reliable with a reliability value of 0.891. The results of the development testing of the creativity instrument show that all items are declared valid and reliable with a reliability value of 0.854. The result of the development instrument is feasible to measure communication skills and creativity.

Abstract

Peningkatan kemampuan guru sekolah dasar dalam menyusun soal HOTS melalui pelatihan bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru sekolah dasar yang ada di kecamatan Gajah Mungkur, kota Semarang. Keterbatasan pengetahuan guru sekolah dasar mengenai perbedaan soal HOTS dan soal LOTS, ciri-ciri soal HOTS, serta cara penyusunan dan pengembangan soal HOTS menjadi masalah utama yang dibahas. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan secara langsung kepada guru sekolah dasar mengenai prosedur penyusunan dan pengembangan soal HOTS. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 7 September 2019 di gedung aula C401 Pascasarjana Universitas Negeri Semarang. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi tahap persiapan dan pelaksanaan. Hasil yang didapatkan dari pelatihan ini yaitu terjadi peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai perbedaan soal HOTS dan LOTS, ciri-ciri soal HOTS, serta cara penyusunan dan pengembangan soal HOTS sebesar 0,04 dengan kategori rendah.

Abstract

Abstrak. Proses pembelajaran dalam kurikulum 2013 di Indonesia menggunakan pendekatan saintifik atau menggunakan five discovery skills. Lima keterampilan ini sesuai dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kendala guru dalam menerapkan pendekatan saintifik berbasis inkuiri mata pelajaran IPA di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 2 Komet Banjarbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Narasumber dalam penelitian ini adalah 6 orang guru IPA SDN 2 Komet Banjarbaru, data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara, dan telaah dokumen. Penarikan kesimpulan melalui proses dari pengumpulan data dengan teknik wawancara dan telaah dokumen. Data yang sudah terkumpul, kemudian diolah dengan analisis data dengan pendekatan induktif yang bersifat khusus ke data yang bersifat umum, dan dengan pengecekan keabsahan data tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini telah menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa kendala guru dalam menerapkan pendekatan saintifik berbasis inkuiri pada sains di Sekolah Dasar akibat guru kurang menguasai teknik memancing siswa bertanya, kurang menguasai pendekatan saintifik, kurangnya penguasaan langkah-langkah inkuiri, dan kurangnya acuan atau contoh penerapan inkuiri dalam pembelajaran daring. Hal ini terjadi karena kelemahan buku ajar kurikulum 2013 yaitu kurangnya mengarahkan penerapan inkuiri. Penyebab lainnya dalam ulasan dikemukakan tentang alasan guru tidak menerapkan inkuiri yaitu pembelajaran inkuiri memerlukan waktu lebih banyak dalam hal persiapan, kesulitan merancang inkuiri secara e-learning, dan kesulitan implementasi di ruang kelas online. Sehingga saran penelitian ini : 1). Perlu adanya model pelatihan guru dalam hal menerapkan pendekatan saintifik berbasis inkuiri dan 2). Perlu tersedianya buku ajar IPA menggunakan pendekatan saintifik berbasis e-inkuiri learning Kata kunci: analisis, kendala guru, pendekatan saintifik berbasis inkuiri, sekolah dasar. Abstract. The learning process in the 2013 curriculum in Indonesia uses a scientific approach or uses five discovery skills. These five skills are in accordance with the inquiry learning model. The purpose of this study was to analyze the teacher's obstacles in applying a scientific approach to inquiry-based science subjects at the State Elementary School 2 Komet Banjarbaru. This study uses a qualitative approach. The resource persons in this study were 6 science teachers at SDN 2 Komet Banjarbaru, data were collected by interview, and document review. Drawing conclusions through the process of data collection with interview techniques and document review. The data that has been collected is then processed by data analysis with an inductive approach that is specific to general data, and by checking the validity of the data. The results of this study have shown that there are several obstacles for teachers in applying a scientific approach based on inquiry to science in elementary schools due to teachers lack of mastery of techniques to provoke students to ask questions, lack of mastery of scientific approaches, lack of mastery of inquiry steps, and lack of references or examples of application of inquiry in online learning. This happened because of the weakness of the 2013 curriculum textbooks, namely the lack of directing the application of inquiry. Other causes in the review stated the reasons teachers do not apply inquiry, namely inquiry learning requires more time in terms of preparation, difficulties in designing inquiry in e-learning, and difficulties in implementation in online classrooms. So the suggestions of this research: 1). There needs to be a teacher training model in terms of applying an inquiry-based scientific approach and 2). It is necessary to provide science textbooks using a scientific approach based on e-inquiry learning Key words: analysis, teacher constraints, inquiry-based scientific approach, elementary school.

Abstract

Abstrak. The science learning at primary schools for learners should refer to the Ministerial Regulation of Cultural and Educational Ministry Number 24 about Core Competence and Basic Competence. This research aims to: 1). Analyze the critical thinking skills of primary school students taught with online learning, and 2) analyze the cause of critical thinking achievement problems in science learning at primary school. This qualitative descriptive research took the data from the in-depth interview. The researchers promoted the research at four primary schools in Banjarbaru on December 1, until December 30, 2021. The researchers took the data source from the Quality Assurance Agency of Education Department in Southern Borneo, the school advisors, the principals, the primary school teachers, the fourth graders, and the parents. The applied analysis was Miles & Huberman (2014), starting from the data reduction, data display, and data verification. The results showed most teachers applied science learning online but the learning could not reach the critical thinking target for the learners. The fact predicting factors of the problems were 1). Learning scenario plan without Core Competence analysis and without considering the Core Competence, 2) The problem of designing the online learning, and 3) The mindsets of the teachers and principals about the learning objectives to accomplish the curriculum materials instead of reaching the core competence.

Abstract

The rapid development of scientific information impacts students' ability to solve problems in daily life based on each student's ability to manage the information. This study aims to analyze and describe the scientific literacy of pre-service teachers in the physics education study program in the second semester. This research method is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique is a test using a test sheet instrument containing 11 questions about scientific literacy, which consists of 3 aspects: explaining phenomena scientifically, evaluating and designing scientific investigations, and interpreting data and evidence scientifically. Experts have validated the instruments used. The results showed that the overall scientific literacy competence of students was in a low category. One indicator shows the value in the medium category, while the other indicators show the low category. These results indicate that students' scientific literacy skills need to be improved. These findings can be used as a basis for evaluating the learning process by emphasizing the development of students' scientific literacy skills.

Abstract

Computing thinking is a specialized skill related to computer science. However, nowadays almost everyone is expected to have basic computing skills that are in line with current technological developments. This research aims to develop an instrument for computational thinking skills in physics education at a university level. The Computational Thinking Instrument was designed to include items related to decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, and algorithms. The development of the instrument resulted in 14 valid items. The sample for this study consisted of 104 students majoring in physics education at the Department of Physics Education, UIN Walisongo Semarang, Indonesia. The instrument used in this research employed a modified Likert scale. The validity of the instrument was assessed using content validity and construct validity. Content validity was measured using Aiken's index, while construct validity was assessed using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA). The reliability estimation using the Cronbach Alpha formula yielded a value of 0.94, indicating that the assessment instrument for students' computational thinking skills in physics education is reliable. The results of the rotated component matrix revealed that the 14 developed items could be divided into only 2 factor.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan perangkat pendukung model pembelajaran hybrid (hybrid learning) untuk meningkatkan penguasaan TPACK para calon guru Biologi. Pengembangan model pembelajaran diawali dengan mengembangkan perangkat pendukung. Perangkat pendukung utamanya ialah 1) Rencana pembelajaran semester (RPS), dan 2) instrumen penilaian penguasaan TPACK. Penelitian pengembangan (R & D) ini menggunakan model ADDIE dengan 5 tahapan, yaitu analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. Pada tahap implementation dilakukan uji coba produk, menggunakan pendekatan penelitian preexperimental, One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Produk 1 dan 2 diimplementasikan bersamaan dalam mata kuliah Fisiologi Hewan yang menggunakan hybrid learning, melibatkan 114 mahasiswa. Data yang dikumpulkan ialah 1) validitas RPS untuk pembelajarkan TPACK, dan 2) validitas instrumen penilaian penguasaan TPACK pada calon guru Biologi. Instrumen yang digunakan mencakup lembar validasi RPS dan lembar validasi instrument penilaian penguasaan TPACK. Data validitas RPS, data validitas instrumen penilaian penguasaan TPACK, dan data efektivitasnya dianalisis secara dekriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) RPS Fisiologi Hewan, dan 2) instrument penilaian penguasaan TPACK yang dikembangkan terbukti valid dan efektif untuk dapat mendukung model hybrid learning untuk meningkatkan penguasaan TPACK para calon guru Biologi.
