Abstract

The Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) has an important role in improving the competency of prospective teachers to meet professional demands. This research aims to analyze the implementation of the collaborative learning (CL) model in improving the competency of Pre-Service Teacher Education students during Field Experience Practices (PPL). The CL model implemented integrates three main approaches: co-teaching, coaching, and consulting, involving students, tutors (GP), and field supervisors (DPL) in one collaborative team. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a classroom action approach, collecting data through observation, interviews, and questionnaires before and after implementing the model. The research results showed a significant increase in students' pedagogical, personality, professional and social competencies. The implementation of the collaborative model succeeded in increasing the average score of students' pedagogical abilities from 3.08 to 3.86. Additionally, 80% of students reported increased self-confidence and interpersonal skills. In terms of classroom management, 80% of students were able to create an active learning atmosphere after the program. Improvements in social skills were also visible, with the average score increasing from 3.5 to 4.2, reflecting students' ability to share ideas and collaborate. Collaborative learning not only improves academic skills, but also supports the development of teacher candidates' personality and social skills, preparing them for challenges in the dynamic world of education

Abstract

Students' cognitive learning outcomes in Geography remain relatively low, as evidenced by the average class score, which has not yet met the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). This low learning outcome is influenced by the delivery of material that tends to be abstract without interactive media, making it difficult for students to understand spatial concepts. The Guided Discovery Learning model, supported by Google Earth Pro, is a solution because it allows students to explore geographic objects interactively and contextually, thereby stimulating active learning and fostering meaningful understanding. This study aims to analyze the effect of Guided Discovery Learning assisted by Google Earth Pro on students' cognitive learning outcomes. The method used is a quasi-experimental Post-test Only Control Group design across two classes: the experimental class and the control class, selected based on teacher recommendations. Data were collected through essay tests on cognitive learning outcomes in accordance with the learning objectives. The results of the study indicate a significant effect of the model, as evidenced by the post-test scores of the experimental class being higher than those of the control class. The Stimulation stage in Guided Discovery Learning is a research finding that influences learning outcomes by creating an interactive, contextual, and meaningful learning experience.   Abstrak Hasil belajar kognitif murid pada mata pelajaran Geografi masih tergolong rendah, terlihat dari rata-rata nilai kelas yang belum memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Rendahnya hasil belajar ini dipengaruhi oleh penyampaian materi yang cenderung abstrak tanpa media interaktif, sehingga murid kesulitan memahami konsep spasial. Model Guided Discovery Learning berbantuan Google Earth Pro hadir sebagai solusi, karena memungkinkan murid mengeksplorasi objek geografi secara interaktif dan kontekstual, sehingga merangsang keaktifan belajar dan meningkatkan pemahaman bermakna. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh Guided Discovery Learning berbantuan Google Earth Pro terhadap hasil belajar kognitif murid. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu (Quasi Experimental) dengan desain Post-test Only Control Group pada dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang dipilih berdasarkan rekomendasi guru. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes esai hasil belajar kognitif sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan penggunaan model tersebut, dibuktikan dengan nilai post-test kelas eksperimen yang lebih unggul dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Tahap Stimulation dalam Guided Discovery Learning menjadi temuan penelitian yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar karena menciptakan pengalaman belajar interaktif, kontekstual, dan bermakna. Abstract

Artificial intelligence offers significant potential to enhance learning evaluation, yet implementing fair and objective assessments remains a challenge. This study developed an artificial intelligence-based learning evaluation system to improve assessment inclusivity and efficiency. Employing the research and development method with the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) model, the system features a virtual assistant chatbot and an automated grading tool artificial intelligence assessment. The product underwent validation by media and material experts, followed by field trials with 20 secondary school teachers. The results demonstrated high feasibility, with validation scores of 96% by user interface/user experience (UI/UX) and 91.2% by material experts, and an implementation feasibility score of 94.4%. The system successfully assisted teachers in reducing administrative burdens and providing personalized feedback based on student learning styles. Future developments should expand subject coverage and support diverse assessment formats.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how capacity management of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) educators and family partnership management can strengthen early childhood nutrition through the optimal utilization of local fish resources. A qualitative case study employed a Community-Based Participatory Action Research (CBPAR) approach involving 30 purposively selected informants, comprising 10 PAUD educators and 20 parents of children aged 4–6 years. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and focus group discussions across four stages: needs analysis, nutrition education, tuna croquette-making training, and collaborative evaluation. Data were analyzed thematically and validated through triangulation. The findings indicate improved nutritional literacy, increased participant engagement in practical food processing, strengthened educator capacity as community nutrition change agents, and the development of sustainable family–school partnerships grounded in local wisdom. The tuna croquette product was perceived as nutritious, healthy, and appealing to young children, demonstrating the feasibility of integrating local food resources into child nutrition practices. The study contributes a context-responsive model linking educator capacity management, family partnerships, and local food optimization to early childhood nutrition improvement. Educational and local authorities should institutionalize local-food-based nutrition programs and strengthen multisectoral collaboration to support sustainable implementation and replication.

Abstract

Based on the analysis of the situation, problems, and needs of MGMP Geography in Malang City, teachers experience obstacles in developing and using technology-based, innovative learning media, namely mobile role-playing games based on serious games. The purpose of community service activities is to provide training in the development of mobile role-playing game learning media based on serious games, which are games designed for specific educational goals, rather than just entertainment, and are formatted as mobile role-playing games (RPGs). This activity also aims to measure the resulting improvement in the teachers' competence. This community service activity employed a participatory training approach, structured into four phases: assessment, preparation, implementation, and evaluation, utilizing a combination of online and offline methods. The subjects in this activity were 50 teachers from MGMP Geography, Malang City. The Wilcoxon test revealed that implementing service activities had a positive impact on improving teachers' competence. In addition, the suggestion from this activity is that similar activities are needed as a form of sustainability for real efforts to improve teacher competence and the quality of geography learning.[Berdasarkan analisis situasi, permasalahan, dan kebutuhan terhadap MGMP Geografi Kota Malang, guru mengalami kendala dalam mengembangkan dan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran inovatif berbasis teknologi. yaitu mobile role-playing game berbasis serious game, yaitu permainan yang di desain untuk pendidikan, bukan hanya untuk bersenang-senang, dalam format role-playing game (RPG). Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yaitu memberikan pelatihan pengembangan media pembelajaran mobile role-playing game berbasis serious game dan mengukur tingkat kompetensi guru. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan pendekatan pelatihan partisipatif yang terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu asesmen, persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi, dengan kombinasi daring dan luring. Subjek dalam kegiatan ini adalah MGMP Geografi Kota Malang sebanyak 50 guru. Berdasarkan uji Wilcoxson menunjukkan implementasi kegiatan pengabdian berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan kompetensi guru. Selain itu, saran dari kegiatan ini yaitu diperlukan kegiatan serupa sebagai bentuk keberlanjutan terhadap usaha nyata dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru dan kualitas pembelajaran Geografi.]
