ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to know student’s learning cognitive result of the grade X in SMA N 1 Pangean between learning strategies expository and conventional learning in the pith matter of circular motion. The kind of research is Pre-Experimental Designs with research design Intact Group Comparison, where both classes were tested for normality and homogeneity of data and both groups showed that these classes have a homogeneous variance, obtained by using a sweepstakes technique class X1 as a class experiment with Implementation of learning strategies expository and class X2 is a class that has been choose as control class with conventional learning. The research instrument is result test of study. Collecting data is done with giving a test of study’s result after studied. The refinery data is done by descriptive statistics. The research findings : student ability in class with implementation of learning strategies expository is 77%, whereas student ability in class with conventional learning is 70%. Thus implementation of learning strategies expository is effective in increasing cognitive student’s learning of class X SMA N 1 Pangean.Key-Words: Students Learning Cognitive Result, learning strategies expository, circular motion.* Mahasiswa

Abstract: This research aimed to find out the improvement of the students motivation learning by applying strategy soccer verbal. This research is a this study is a pre-experiment One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subject of this research is students class XI at MAN Kampar , total of 37 students. The instrument of data gathering which used learning motivation of ARCS guestionaire, the techique of data extractionby bive pre questionaire and post questionnaire. Analyze data by description to see an increase in learning motivation. Based on data analyze the increase of learning motivation a in every indicator is increasing. Therefore learning motivation of class XI student of MAN Kampar on Theory of Kinetic Gas material having increased.Key Words: strategy soccer verbal, Motivation.

Abstract: This study aims to describe and determine the effect of the CORE learning model on students conceptual understanding of class VIII sound wave material in SMPN 13 Pekanbaru. The kind of research use is quasi-experimental design is intact research group comparison. The subject of study is learners class VIII SMPN 13 Pekanbaru academic year 2018 /2019, consisting of class VIII.9 as a class the experiments were 35 students and class VIII.8 as a class control by 35 the number of students. Research instruments used is about a test understanding concept. Engineering data collection in this research by giving a test understanding the concept of after learning held on second class. The Data is analysed in descriptive to see the results of the percentage on understanding the concept and analysed in inferential using the T-test. The result showed that there are significant differences between understandings the concept of students on a CORE learning model applies with class conventional who apply the sound waves to the matter. Understanding the concept of class experiment score of average higher than class control. Based on the research so that it can be concluded that CORE learning model to understanding the concept of students to the matter the sound waves class VIII SMPN 13 Pekanbaru.Key Words: CORE Model, Understanding of Concepts, Sound Waves

Abstract: This study aims to describe the cognitive learning outcomes of students with the application of brainstorming on global warming material in class VII SMP 13 Pekanbaru. This type of research is a pre experiment with the research design is intact group comparison. The subject of the research was VII grade students of SMP Negeri 13 Pekanbaru in Academic Year 2018/2019. The instrument used to collect data in this study was a matter of learning achievement tests. Data were analyzed descriptively to describe student learning outcomes after using the Brainstorming learning method. The results of the analysis of the data obtained are, the average absorptive capacity of the experimental class is higher than the average absorptive capacity of the control class with an average absorbance score of the experimental class 74.31 and the average absorptive score of the control class 65.28. Learning effectiveness refers to the average absorptive score of each class, the experimental class including the effective category and the control class including the quite effective category. Thus the Brainstorming method is effectively applied to global warming material.Key Words : Brainstorming, Learning Outcomes, Global Warming

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas penggunaan Lembaran KerjaMahasiswa (LKM) berbasis penemuan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian preeksperimen ini dengan rancangan intact group comparison dilakukan dengan cara membagi mahasiswaatas dua kelompok belajar yang homogen. Kemudian secara acak ditentukan kelas eksperimen denganmenggunakan LKM berbasis penemuan dan kelas kontrol dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumenpengumpul data yang digunakan adalah lembaran pengamatan, angket respon mahasiswa dan tes hasilbelajar. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan cara memberikan tes hasil belajar kepada mahasiswasetelah pembelajaran. Pengamatan terhadap kerja mahasiswa dilakukan saat proses pembelajarandengan menggunakan LKM berbasis penemuan dan pada akhir pembelajaran diberikan angket responmahasiswa. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriftif dengan cara tabulasi dan persentase. Hasil peneltianini menunjukkan hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan menggunakan LKM berbasis penemuan lebih tinggidari hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan tanpa LKM. Hasil penilaian kerja mahasiswa pada kategori baik,dan 95% mahasiswa menunjukkan respon positif terhadap penggunaan LKM berbasis penemuan.Dengan demikian penggunaan LKM berbasis penemuan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajarmahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Fisika pada mata kuliah gelombang.Kata kunci:LKM berbasis penemuan, hasil belajar, Gelombang.

Abstract: This study aims to describe the learning outcomes of students who apply Novick learning models in class X linear motion material at SMAN 5 Pekanbaru and determine differences in student learning outcomes through applying Novick learning models with conventional learning in linear motion materials in class X SMAN 5 Pekanbaru . The research method used was quasy experiment with Intact Group Comparison design. The population is all students of class X MIPA SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. A sample selected by random sampling totaling 36 people as the experimental class and totaling 36 people as the control class. This research instrument was in the form of a written test of cognitive learning outcomes in the form of multiple choice. Data was collected by giving a posttest to the study sample. Data analysis in this study uses descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results showed in the experimental class the average absorption of students reached 75.56% with a good category and the control class 68.89% with a fairly good category. From the average absorption scores obtained, the effectiveness of learning in the experimental class is in the effective category and the control class isin the quite effective category. Based on the results of inferential analysis, there are significant differences in students' cognitive learning outcomes between classes applying Novick's learning model and classes applying conventional learning on linear motion material. Thus, Novick's learning model can improve cognitive learning outcomes of students in class X of SMAN 5 Pekanbaru on linear motion material.Key Words: Novick Learning Model, Cognitive Learning Outcomes, Linear Motion

 The purpose of this research was to describe teaching-learning interaction in teaching physics by applying cooperative teaching in terms of the type of group investigation by the first-year students at SMAN 1 Tambang Kampar. The research instrument used in this research was observation sheet. It was used by aspect observed based on cooperative teaching in terms of the type of group investigation. The model aims to motivate the student, to set the problem in the group, to report the result of group activities, and conclude the lesson. The technic of data collection was by observing teaching-learning interaction, which happened in each aspect observed every two minutes during the teaching process. The data analysis was by counting the percentage of teaching-learning interaction. The result of this research showed that the interaction of teaching-learning between teachers and students, students and teachers, students, and students happened to each step in teaching activity. The highest percentage of teaching-learning interaction was in the problem-solving of group activity. Hence, cooperative teaching in term of the type of group investigation is able to create teaching-learning interaction which various in teaching.

Abstrak: Abstract: This study aims to determine students' science process skills by applying the guided inquiry learning model to the substance pressure material. The research method used is a quasy experiment with a Posttest Only Control Design design. The population of this research was all students of class VIII SMPN 1 Pekanbaru. The sample was selected two classes randomly from a homogeneous population of 33 students as the experimental class and 32 students the control class. The research instrument was a test of science process skills. The data were collected through giving process skills tests to the research sample after the learning process was carried out. Data were analyzed descriptively to see the average absorption capacity of students' science process skills and inferential by using the T-test. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the science process skills of students in the class that applied the guided inquiry learning model and the class that applied the conventional one. The average score of students' science process skills in the experimental class was higher than the control class. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the guided inquiry learning model can improve the science process skills of class VIII students of SMPN 1 Pekanbaru on Substance Pressure material.Key Words: Guided inquiry, Science Process skills , Tekanan Zat

Abstract: The learning device developed are learning device based on the TTW type kooperatif model with mind mapping on global warming material for class XI high school students, consisting of a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), Student Worksheets (LKPD), and Learning Outcomes Test. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of learning device based on the TTW type kooperatif with mind mapping on global warming material. This type of research is a Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D model design. The research instrument used was the RPP validation assessment sheets, LKPD, and the Learning Outcomes Test which were used by the validator to assess learning device. Data analysis in this study used descriptive analysis, by calculating the validity score of each indicator of the learning device. Based on the results of the validity data analysis, the average value of the validity of the lesson plans for the first meeting was 3.60 in the very high category and the average validity of the lesson plans for the second meeting was 3.56 with the very high category. The average validity of LKPD 01 was 3.58 with a very high category and the average validity of LKPD 02 was 3.67 with a very high category. The average validity of the Learning Outcomes Test was 3.76 with a very high category, so that the overall average learning device was 3.63 with a very high category. Thus the learning device based on the TTW kooperatif model with mind mapping is declared valid and suitable for use in global warming material in class XI SMA.Key Words: Physics Learning Device, Kooperatif Type TTW, Mind Mapping, Global Warming

Abstract: This research aims to describe and differentiate the cognitive learning result physics science between the implementation of cooperative learning type talking chips group with conventional learning group. This type of research is a quasi-experimental, with a intact group comparison design. Population in this research is all of VIII classes with 198 students. Meanwhile the samples are 29 students in VIII A as control class and 29 students in VIII B as experiment class. The instrument of data in this research is a score cognitive performance test which consists of 20 multiple choice items. Analysis of the data in this study was a descriptive analysis that was used to determine the performance of the physics cognitive learning through the criteria of absorption and effectiveness of learning. The inferential analysis was used to differentiate a cognitive learning considerably using independent samples t-test. The analysis data shows: the average absorption of the experiment class is 80% of the higher in category, and declared effective learning efficiently. Meanwhile the average absorption of the control class 74.83%. Therefore, it can be concluded that implementation of cooperative learning type talking chips can be used as an alternative in the learning process in the classroom VIII MTs Daarun Nahdhah Tawalib Bangkinang Kampar.Keywords: Cognitive result test, optical instruments, talking chips.
