Abstract

This research aim to find the differences between the results of learning psychomotor skills ofphysics students to the concept of straight-line motion in the X class students MA Dar El Hikmahpekabaru between cooperative learning Think-Pair-Square and Two Stay Two Stray. This researchis the research study design experiments with the Posttest-Only Control Design. XB1-class researchsample as a class experiment I with the application of cooperative learning model Think-Pair-Square and class XB2 as a class experiment II with the application of cooperative learning TwoStay Two Sstray. Instrument data collection in this research are to learn psychomotor test resultsare analyzed by descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. Deskritif analysis obtained from theexperimental class I absorption average is 84.6% of students with a good category, exhaustivenessclassical learning students with 87.5% complete and exhaustiveness category subject matter is100% with complete categories. In the experimental class II absorption average is 85.9% ofstudents with a good category, effektiveness lesson is 85.9% with effective category, theexhaustiveness of students to study classical category of 91.6% with complete and completeness oflearning material is 100% by category thoroughly. With inferential after the data obtained arenormally distributed and homogeneous through the test for normality and homogenity test resultsobtained that the hypothetical accept, so there is no difference significan on student learningoutcomes through learning model Think-Pair-Square and Two Stay Two Stray. This can be seenthrough the t test was called t calculated <t table or 0.515 <1.679 by SPSS version 16.

Abstract

The research aimed to know the differences in the analyze skill students physics problems applying the problem based learning model with the conventional learning. The research method used was quasy experiment with posttest only control design. The subject is class XI IPA which consists of 4 classes. Samples of two classes selected by simple random sampling, obtained class XI IPA4, amounting to 32 students as an experimental class and class XI IPA3, amounting to 33 students as a control class. Research instrument use is about a test analyze skills physic problems given to students after the learning process is caried out in two classes. Data analysis techniques used in this study are descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results showed the there are significant differences in the analyze skill students physic problems between the class applying the problem based learning model and the class applying conventional learning on optical geometry. Analyze skills of class experiment score of average higher than class control apply conventional learning. Therefore application problem based learning model can increase analyze skill students physics problems.

Abstract

 E-module based on scientific literacy of electromagnetic radiation material has been validated by experts, but this e-module has not been applied to students in learning in schools. This research aimed to determine the empirical validity of e-modules based on scientific literacy as a source of learning material for electromagnetic radiation. The research method used is the 4D method, namely: defining, design, development and dissemination. This research focuses on the development stage, that limited testing. The research data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. Respondents from this research were class X students and teachers of Riau Province Integrated Agriculture Vocational School, totaling 23 students and 2 teachers. The research data were obtained using an empirical validity questionnaire instrument. The results of the analysis of the empirical validity test data of e-module based on scientific literacy which include design aspects, content aspects, pedagogical aspects, and technical aspects obtained an average score of 4.34 with a high validity category. So, it can be concluded that e-module based on scientific literacy as a source of learning material for electromagnetic radiation, is declared valid and can be used in learning for students in senior high schools or agriculture vocational high school.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ representation skills by applying multirepresentation based physics learning in Class X MIPA2 SMA Babussalam Pekanbaru. This classroom action research is conducted with two cycles where one cycle step consist of planning, implementation of observation and reflection. The subjects of the study were students of class X MIPA2 as many as 33 female students. The data collection instrument is a test of representation ability given to the student at the end of each cycle. The technique of data analysis is descriptive with result of data analysis showed: the ability of representation of students based on the aspect of representation ability increased by 13,69%, while the ability to present representation into four format (graph, image, mathematical and verbal) increased by 10,11%. Thus, it can be concluded that the aplication of physics learning with multirepresentation based can improve the ability of representation of students of Class X MIPA2 SMA Babussalam Pekanbaru.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find the result of sains physic achievement through approach ofSETS. The subject of the research was students of class VIII of MTs Nurul Falah Air Molek the sample takenwas 44 students. The instrument of collecting data was test of learning achievement research is about resultof student and product evaluation sheet. Data wil be analyze by using describe analyze with includesabortive power, learning effectiveness, completeness of student’s study and completeness of learns purpose.The result of data analysis shows average of student’s abortive power is 74, 8% with good’s category,completeness of student’s study and completeness of learns purpose with complete category. Abstract

Online service in the form of the Powtoon application can be used to develop physics learning media with presentations that have very interesting animation features. The purpose of this research is to produce a learning media product in the form of a compact disk (CD) on the subject of the atomic nucleus in the learning process of class XII high school students. The research method uses Research and Development with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) which is modified only to the development stage. Based on the results of the validation test on the content aspect obtained 90%, the design aspect 83%, the pedagogic aspect 87%, and the ease of use aspect 84%. The results of this research indicate that the learning media using the Powtoon application on the atomic nucleus material is declared valid. Thus the Powtoon application-based learning media is declared feasible to be used as a learning media on atomic nucleus material in class XII SMA.

Abstract

 This research aimed to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of concept attainment learning model to increase cognitive learning outcomes. The research method used is pre-experimental design with intact group comparison design. The research subjects were students of class XI SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru, in which class XI IPA4 was an experimental class and class XI IPA5 was a control class. The experimental class uses a concept attainment learning model and a control class with a conventional learning. The data was obtained from cognitive learning outcomes test which given to students after the learning process was carried out. Data were analyzed descriptively to provide an overview of students cognitive learning outcomes including students absorption and learning effectiveness on indication of global warming material. The research result obtained were the average of students absorption ability in the experimental class was 76,94% and 68,33% for control class. Thus, can be concluded that the implementation of the concept attainment learning model was effective to increase student cognitive learning outcomes in SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru on the subject of global warming.

Abstract

 This research aimed to determine the differences in the improvement of students' physics learning independence through the application of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) learning model. This type of research used a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The research sample was determined from the population of class XI IPA students of SMAN 1 Pekanbaru, based on the results of the normality and homogeneity tests of the population. Classes that were declared normal and homogeneous, two classes were randomly selected as the control class (36 students) and the experimental class (36 students). The data collection instrument used a student learning independence questionnaire for pre-test and post-test. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis obtained the independent learning average of the experimental class was 2.71 with the high category and the control class 2.47 with the low category. The results of the inferential analysis show that there are significant differences in student learning independence before and after learning by applying the TAI learning model. Therefore, the use of the TAI learning model can improve the learning independence of class XI IPA students of SMAN 1 Pekanbaru on the material of optical instruments.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat hubungan kompetensi pedagogik dankemampuanPraktek Pengalaman lapangan (PPL) pada calon guru fisika. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswaProgram Studi Pendidikan Fisika Jurusan PMIPA FKIP Universitas Riau yang telah mengikuti matakuliah pedagogik dan PPL. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa yang telah mengikuti PPL padasemester ganjil tahun akademik 2013/2014 yang berjumlah 52orang. Pengumpulan data dengan teknikdokumentasi dan dianalisis dengan korelasi sederhana product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukanhubungan antara kompetensi pedagogik dengan kemampuan PPL sangat rendah dalamkemampuanmerancangpembelajaran, mengimplementasikanpembelajaran, menilai prosesdanhasilpembelajaran. Dengandemikianperludilakukanpeninjauankurikulumuntuk kelompokmatakuliahketerampilan proses pembelajaran dan perbaikan instrumen penilaian PPL.

Abstract

Abstract: the aim of this research is to describe students representation ability in applaying Modeling Instruction on Dynamic Electicity at SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. The expected benefits of this research is to train the student in using such representation (verbal, mathematics, graphs and pictorial), in order to increase student representation ability. This research was conducted at SMAN 5 Pekanbaru in X8 class totaling 39 students. The design of the research is Pre-experimental design formone shot case study. Through applying Modeling Instruction, student trained to serve representation to such kind of representation: verbal representation, mathematics representation, graphs representations, pictorial representation. From the research, based of aspect representation ability; formulate information from a representation, forming a new representation, the consistency of representation and solve problems using the representation obtained the ability of student representation by implementing of Modeling Instruction obtained the criteria of representation ability categorized medium level with an average score 76,50. therefore in teaching physics, by using Modeling Instruction could train the first year student representation ability on dynamic electric material at SMAN 5 Pekanbaru.Kata Kunci: Modeling Instruction, representation ability, Dynamic electicity
