Abstract

 Abstrack: This research aimed to describe and found out the enhancement of students cognitive learning outcomes through the implementation of TAPPS (Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving) learning on uniform circular motion physic matter in MA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. As the research method, it used Quasi Eksperimental Design, and it’s research design was Intact Group Comparisson. It’s samples were two classes, those consisted of 29 students as the experimental class and 30 students as the control class. The data collection instrument was posttest questions consisted of 23 multiple choice questions objectively. The data analysis technique that used was descriptive analysis by comparing the students absorption ability and inferential analysis by looking at the difference of learning outcomes between two these classes. The results of this research showed that there were differences of learning outcomes between the experimental and control class which students absorption ability of the experimental were 5.74 percents higher than the control class. Therefore, it can be concluded that implementation of TAPPS (Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving) learning was effective to enhanced students cognitive learning outcomes on phisic matter. Keyword: TAPPS (Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving) Learning, Cognitive Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

The SETS-Based Module is a teaching material that is systematically arranged in language that is easily understood by students according to their level of understanding and age so that it can be used for independent study. This module is structured using a SETS (Science, Environment, Technology and Society) approach which is integrated with each other. This SETS-based module consists of material descriptions, interesting experiments, questions and discussions, practice questions and articles containing technological literacy. The purpose of this research is to produce teaching materials in the form of SETS-based modules that are valid and suitable for use in physics learning in class XI SMA on Sound and Light Waves in an effort to improve students' technological literacy. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using a 4D development model. The research instrument used in this study was a module validation sheet. Quantitative and qualitative data were obtained from the results of the validator's assessment. The results showed that the SETS-based module development on sound and light waves was valid with a score of 3.41. Thus the SETS-based module on Class XI Sound and Light Waves in an effort to improve technological literacy can be declared valid and worthy of testing in physics learning.Keywords: Module Development, SETS, Sound and Light Waves, Technology Literacy

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the cognitive learning outcomes of students using the DDFK (Definition Design Formulation Communication) learning model Problem Solving in class X Science 1 MA Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru. The benefit of this research is that teachers can be used as alternative learning models to help deliver material to be more innovative in teaching. Students are expected to be able to further enhance students' understanding and learning outcomes in physics. This type of research is a pre-experimental design research in the form of a one-shot case study. The subjects of the study were students of class X Science 1 with 32 female students at MA Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru. The research instrument used cognitive learning performance test questions about Work and Energy material. Data collection techniques in the form of providing learning outcomes tests conducted after learning. Data were analyzed descriptively by describing student cognitive learning outcomes. From the results of the study, the average student absorption is 70.75% with a good category and the effectiveness of learning with a good category. Seen from each learning meeting conducted, the highest average absorption capacity was at the first meeting, which was 84% with a good category, while the average absorption capacity was the lowest at the third meeting, which was 53% with a fairly good category.Key Words: Cognitive Learning Outcomes, DDFK Problem Solving, Work and Energy

Abstract

Abstract: Efforts to improve cognitive learning outcomes and overcome students' difficulties in understanding abstract material on atomic nuclei and radioactivity, research on the development of learning media using the Powtoon application for learning physics in class XII SMA/equivalent is carried out. The purpose of this study was to produce a learning media using the powtoon application on valid atomic nuclei and radioactivity. This study uses the Research and Development method with the ADDIE development model which in its implementation is only carried out until the development stage. The data was obtained from the assessment given by the validator to the media that had been made using the validation assessment sheet. The results showed that the media validity assessment in the media presentation aspect got a score of 3.9 with a very high category , the audio aspect scored 3.75 in the Very High category , the emphasis aspect with a score of 3.3 categories. High, the aspect of balance with a score of 3.67 in the Very High category. In the form aspect, the score is 3.63 in the Very High category and in the color aspect, the score is 3.55 in the Very High category. In the assessment of material validation in the aspect of relevance, the score was 3.3 with the Very High category, the accuracy aspect of the score was 3.62 in the Very High category, and in the content aspect, the score was 3.4 with the High category. and in the language aspect, the score was 3.4 with the High category. Thus the learning media using the application of powtoon on the atomic nucleus and radioactivity in an effort to improve cognitive learning outcomes for class XII high school students can be declared valid and worthy of being tested in physics learning at school.Key Words: Learning Media, Powtoon Applications, Atomic Core and Radioactivity, Cognitive Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: The rapid use of technology in individuals learning in school has an impact inthe field of education to involve technology in the learning process, both in methods andlearning media. The emergency period that occurred in the world in 2019 causedthelearning process to be carried out from home or commonly called online, so it wasnecessary to develop android application-based learning media with a guided inquiryapproach in delivering learning materials. The purposeof this research is to developlearning media and to test the validity of the android application-based learning media.The development of this learning media is expected to be able to provide benefits tostudents so that students are motivated to learn magnetic field material independently,as well as assist in achieving learning goals online and offline. The developmentresearch model used in this research is the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design,Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). In determining the level of mediavalidity, this research used a validation sheet filled out by three validators, as well asan analytical questionnaire filled out by teachers and students. The results of thevalidation by the three validators stated that the android application-based learningmedia was valid in the level of validity with an average final score of 3.3, and thecriteria were very good. Based on the results of the validation of the learning media, itis said to be suitable for use in learning activities.Keywords: Learning Media, Android Applications, Guided Inquiry, Magnetic Field.

Abstract

Penelitian in bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan tingkat penguasaan mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Fisika Dasar I dengan menggunakan prosedur heuristik. Upaya pemecahan masalah dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: (1) perencanaan berupa penetapan aksi, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan yaitu pembelajaran dengan menggunakan prosedur heuristik, (3) melakukan pengamatan (observasi) dan (4) analisis efektifitas tindakan (refleksi). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah dan tingkat penguasaan mahasiswa cenderung meningkat pada setiap siklus. Kemampuan analisis soal meningkat 41%, kemampuan transformasi soal meningkat 47,5%, kemampuan operasi hitung meningkat 47%, kemampuan pengecekan dan interpretasi hasil meningkat 40%. Tingkat penguasaan mahasiswa meningkat 16,6% dan rata-rata tingkat penguasaan mahasiswa setelah tindakan dengan menggunakan prosedur heuristik pada pembelajaran fisika dasar I pada kategori baik (70,65%), Kata kunci: pemecahan masalah, prosedur heuristik

Abstract

Dalam proses pembelajaran sering terjadi tidak tercapainya ketuntasan belajar. Ini disebabkan karena rencana pengajaran dalam proses belajar mengajar tidak jelas. Agar ketuntasan belajar dapat dicapai sesuai yang diharapkan, maka perlu dirancang rencana pembelajaran mata kuliah Fisika Dasar I. Di samping itu penyajian materi kuliah dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran dapat ditingkatkan melalui alat bantu berupa pemakaian media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ketuntasan belajar tercapai pada setiap pokok bahasan, dan nilai akhir diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 80,45. Proses perbaikan pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan daya serap mahasiswa. Hal ini disebabkan oleh: 1) tersusunnya rencana pembelajaran selama satu semester; 2) adanya hand out untuk mahasiswa; 3) Kuis (evaluasi) yang dilakukan setiap selesai pemberian materi; 4) Teknik penilaian yang transparan; dan 5) sarana/media yang mendukung. Supaya mahasiswa terarah dalam proses pembelajaran, disarankan kepada setiap dosen yang memegang mata kuliah untuk mempersiapkan rencana pengajaran (RP) atau satuan acara perkuliahan (SAP). Abstract

The purpose of this research has described learning result of physics science skill process byapplying integrated learning model to first year students MTs Dar El Hikmah Pekanbaru on topic object,motion, and microscope. This research involved an experiment research. The subject of this research wasfirst year students MTs Dar El Hikmah Pekanbaru at academic year 2007/2008 in totally 32 student. Thetechnique of collecting data by using test of physics science skill process. The technique of data analysis byusing descriptive analysis. Data analysis showed that abortive power is 74 % with good category, learneffectiveness can be categorized in effective enough, but completeness of student’s learns is not complet.Hence, integrated learning model is effective enough to first year students MTs Dar El Hikmah Pekanbaruon topic object, motion, and microscope.Key words : integrated learning model, learning result, skill process

Abstract

 Outdoor Learning-based physics student worksheets are task sheets that must be done by students that contain instructions for activities that will be used outside the classroom. This research aims to develop a valid physics worksheet based on outdoor learning on the material of straight motion for class X SMA. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) based research with a 4-D model design consisting of 4 stages of development, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Validation is carried out at the development stage by 3 validators who are experts and experienced in their fields and have experience. The instrument of this research is an assessment sheet in the form of a checklist. This research uses two types of data collected, namely quantitative data obtained from the score of the validation sheet assessed by the validator and student responses, while the qualitative data is in the form of criticism and suggestions from the validator on the product developed and a description of the implementation of product trials. Data analysis used descriptive analysis by calculating the index of each indicator used to determine the validity of the developed student worksheets. The results of this research provide an outdoor learning-based physics worksheet product which was developed on straight motion material which was declared valid from the presentation, linguistic, and graphic aspect with high and very high categories, so it was feasible to use in learning to support the teaching and learning process so that it became better.

Abstract

 The purpose of this research was to describe teaching-learning interaction in teaching physics by applying cooperative teaching in terms of the type of group investigation by the first-year students at SMAN 1 Tambang Kampar. The research instrument used in this research was observation sheet. It was used by aspect observed based on cooperative teaching in terms of the type of group investigation. The model aims to motivate the student, to set the problem in the group, to report the result of group activities, and conclude the lesson. The technic of data collection was by observing teaching-learning interaction, which happened in each aspect observed every two minutes during the teaching process. The data analysis was by counting the percentage of teaching-learning interaction. The result of this research showed that the interaction of teaching-learning between teachers and students, students and teachers, students, and students happened to each step in teaching activity. The highest percentage of teaching-learning interaction was in the problem-solving of group activity. Hence, cooperative teaching in term of the type of group investigation is able to create teaching-learning interaction which various in teaching.
