Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Guidance and Counseling (GC) program at Islamic-based junior high schools using the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product). A descriptive-evaluative method was employed, with data collected through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and document analysis. The participants included 109 students, a school counselor, the principal, subject teachers, and parents, selected purposively. Findings indicate that the context component received the highest score (3.9), reflecting strong alignment between the program and students’ needs. The product component scored 3.5, suggesting a positive impact on student behavior, learning motivation, and psychological well-being. These outcomes are illustrated through a bar chart highlighting each aspect of the CIPP model. However, the input component recorded a lower score (2.8), indicating limitations in professional staffing, infrastructure, and institutional support. The process component also showed a moderate score (3.2), revealing that the program remains largely reactive and lacks optimal implementation of preventive strategies such as classroom guidance. The study concludes that while the GC program demonstrates moderate effectiveness, it requires further improvement in strategic planning, digital documentation, and long-term evaluation practices. Recommendations include developing a more comprehensive evaluation instrument and strengthening preventive services that are responsive to students' evolving needs.

Abstract

Aligning Beliefs and Learning; Exploring the Dynamics of Islamic Internalisation in Educational Dichotomy. Islamic education offers mercy for all nature that is able to guide the lives of all nature. Islamic education faces challenges in the global era that confronts the competence of modern life. Changes in the pattern and form of Islamic education must be able to answer the needs of the times. Islamic education must strive to never stop the process of building and educating the nation's children across generations. This research aims to investigate the relationship between belief and learning in the context of the dynamics of Islamic internalisation in the dichotomy of education. Education is often regarded as a platform for transmitting religious values, including Islam, to the younger generation. The research method involves a qualitative study with a literature review phenomenological approach to understand the relationship between the dichotomy of science and Islamic education in Indonesian human character education. Thematic analysis was conducted to identify major themes and patterns in the literature. The results provide an in-depth understanding of how beliefs are influenced by learning experiences, as well as the extent to which formal and informal experiences play a role in the internalisation of Islamic values. Islamic education should be implemented through an interdisciplinary educational approach that integrates Islamic concepts and values with other disciplines. The practical implications of this research can be used to develop more effective learning methods in responding to learners' spiritual and moral needs, while considering the dynamics of Islamic internalisation in the two dimensions of education.Pendidikan Islam menawarkan rahmat bagi seluruh alam yang mampu menjadi penuntun kehidupan seluruh alam. Pendidikan Islam menghadapi tantangan dalam era global yang menghadapkan pada kompetensi kehidupan modern. Perubahan pola dan bentuk pendidikan Islam harus mampu menjawab kebutuhan jaman. Pendidikan Islam harus diusahakan untuk tidak pernah berhenti berproses dalam membangun dan mencerdaskan anak bangsa lintas generasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki hubungan antara keyakinan dan pembelajaran dalam konteks dinamika internalisasi Islam dalam dikotomi pendidikan. Pendidikan seringkali dianggap sebagai wadah untuk mentransmisikan nilai-nilai agama, termasuk Islam, kepada generasi muda. Metode penelitian ini melibatkan studi kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi literature review untuk memahami hubungan antara dikotomi ilmu dan pendidikan Islam dalam pendidikan karakter manusia Indonesia. Analisis tematik dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi tema utama dan pola dalam literatur. Hasil penelitian memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang bagaimana keyakinan dipengaruhi oleh pengalaman pembelajaran, serta sejauh mana pengalaman formal dan informal berperan dalam internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam. Pendidikan Islam sebaiknya dilaksanakan melalui pendekatan pendidikan interdisipliner yakni pendekatan pendidikan yang mengintegrasikan konsep dan nilai-nilai agama Islam dengan disiplin ilmu lainnya. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan metode pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dalam merespons kebutuhan spiritual dan moral peserta didik, sambil mempertimbangkan dinamika internalisasi Islam dalam dua dimensi pendidikan.

Abstract

This correlational quantitative research aims to examine the relationships among metacognition ability, literacy ability, and High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in Science problem-solving among eighth-grade students at Batik Surakarta Middle School in 2023. Utilizing a simple random sampling technique, 168 students were selected as the sample. Data on metacognitive abilities, literacy skills, and HOTS Science problem-solving skills were collected through questionnaires. The analysis employed multiple linear regression with SPSS 25. The findings indicate a positive and significant correlation between metacognition abilities and HOTS Science problem-solving skills (regression coefficient: 1.311, effective contribution: 78.9%, relative contribution: 81.1%). Additionally, there is a positive and significant relationship between literacy skills and HOTS Science problem-solving skills (regression coefficient: 0.192, effective contribution: 18.27%, relative contribution: 18.8%). Collectively, these two independent variables contributed 97% to the variance in HOTS Science problem-solving skills, while the remaining 3% was influenced by unexamined variables. This research emphasizes the importance of metacognition and literacy in enhancing students' HOTS Science problem-solving abilities

Abstract

This research explores the application of differentiated learning innovation as an effort to realize student creativity. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Case study research is an in-depth research method that explores detailed information about a particular case, entity, group, or individual. Case studies can help identify solutions to existing problems and develop recommendations for improvement. The research was conducted on fifth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah PK Rabbani Karanganom. The data taken is based on observations, documentation and interviews conducted at the school. The results of this research are one learning innovation by implementing differentiated learning using children's song media. Differentiated learning innovation for students through selecting a song related to the material. The song chosen was Islamic Ethics. Differentiated learning using songs can shape students' creativity. Students are free to create projects or tasks so that the learning process becomes fun. A differentiated learning approach not only enriches students' learning experiences, but also forms a generation of students who are creative, innovative and ready to face future demands.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the cultivation of written-based aspects of communication digital literacy in learning Natural Sciences (Science) and exploring oral-based communication aspects digital literacy in learning Natural Sciences (IPA). The research method uses a qualitative research approach, the research design uses a case study. Data collection techniques in research are observation, interviews and document analysis. The results of the research show that communication culture is based on digital literacy and succeeded in creating a dynamic and innovative Natural Sciences (Science) learning environment. Students demonstrate significant improvement in the ability to use technology to express scientific ideas, both written and verbal. The use of digital tools such as Canva, PowerPoint and online collaboration platforms not only increases student engagement, but also facilitates a deeper understanding of Natural Sciences (Science) concepts. This culture successfully integrates aspects of written and oral communication, enabling students to develop the skills needed in the 21st century.

Abstract

Tuntutan digitalisasi pendidikan menuntut guru untuk melakukan akselerasi integrasi teknologi pembelajaran secara masif. Namun, kenyataan di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa supervisi akademik tradisional yang bersifat formal sering kali menciptakan jarak psikologis, sehingga inovasi teknologi pembelajaran cenderung berjalan lambat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi supervisi akademik berbasis kolegial dalam mendorong inovasi teknologi praktik pedagogik. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan desain studi kasus di SMP Negeri 1 Kebakkramat dengan melibatkan 4 informan yang terdiri dari kepala sekolah dan tiga guru mata pelajaran yang berperan sebagai mentor dan mentee. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam serta analisis dokumen terhadap SK Tim Mentor, rubrik observasi, dan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) berbasis digital. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi tahapan kondensasi data, penyajian data (data display), serta penarikan simpulan dan verifikasi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi akademik berbasis kolegial melalui mekanisme peer-mentoring efektif mereduksi kecemasan profesional. Hal ini memicu akselerasi integrasi teknologi pembelajaran, terbukti dengan penggunaan aplikasi digital secara mandiri oleh guru seperti Go Getter 3 ActiveTeach, Canva, dan Kahoot. Optimalisasi supervisi kolegial terbukti menjadi katalisator utama bagi inovasi praktik pedagogik karena mengedepankan aspek kenyamanan dan kolaborasi profesional.

Abstract

The utilization of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in online education and training for school principals is urgent. This ensures educational leaders have digital skills, enriches teaching methods, and improves managerial efficiency, keeping pace with rapid technological developments. For this reason, this research seeks to dig deeper into aspects of education and training evaluation, especially skills assessment for education and training participants. This qualitative descriptive research sought to describe the actual situation regarding the planning, implementation, and follow-up of skills assessment in the education and training for improving the Academic Supervision Competency of School Principals by utilizing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at the Institute for the Development and Empowerment of School Principals and School Supervisors (LPPKSPS). The research subjects involved were instructors and principal education and training participants, with a total of six subjects. The results of this research revealed that the skills assessment in education and training developed by LPPKSPS has been designed and implemented in online education and training, and follow-up has been conducted to improve the academic supervision abilities of school principals. Through this research, it is expected that it can become the basis for similar education and training institutions when they want to integrate ICT into education and training activities so that learning outcomes can be achieved optimally.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan strategi kooperatif tipe gallery walk dalam meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi pada mata pelajaran pendidikan pancasila siswa di kelas XI Otomotif 3 SMK Muhammadiyah Kartasura. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas XI Otomotif 3 SMK Muhammadiyah Kartasura dengan objek penelitian keterampilan komunikasi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan keterampilan komunikasi peserta didik pada siklus I ke siklus II. Pada siklus I persentase keterampilan komunikasi peserta didik hanya mencapai 22,4 % dalam kategori kurang terampil.  Pada siklus II keterampilan komunikasi peserta didik meningkat mencapai 78% dalam kategori terampil.Kata Kunci: strategi kooperatif, gallery walk
