Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the cultivation of written-based aspects of communication digital literacy in learning Natural Sciences (Science) and exploring oral-based communication aspects digital literacy in learning Natural Sciences (IPA). The research method uses a qualitative research approach, the research design uses a case study. Data collection techniques in research are observation, interviews and document analysis. The results of the research show that communication culture is based on digital literacy and succeeded in creating a dynamic and innovative Natural Sciences (Science) learning environment. Students demonstrate significant improvement in the ability to use technology to express scientific ideas, both written and verbal. The use of digital tools such as Canva, PowerPoint and online collaboration platforms not only increases student engagement, but also facilitates a deeper understanding of Natural Sciences (Science) concepts. This culture successfully integrates aspects of written and oral communication, enabling students to develop the skills needed in the 21st century.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tantangan yang dihadapi oleh sistem pendidikan nasional Indonesia dan mengajukan solusi konkret untuk pertimbangan dan potensial regulasi pemerintah. Mengacu pada nilai-nilai Pancasila, penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pembangunan karakter bangsa melalui pendidikan formal dan nonformal yang menanamkan nilai-nilai nasionalisme, kemandirian, religiusitas, integritas, dan gotong royong sejak usia dini. Pendekatan pendidikan Muhammadiyah, yang memadukan nilai-nilai Islam dengan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, dan seni (IPTEKS), diperkenalkan sebagai contoh pendidikan yang menggabungkan kecakapan abad ke-21 seperti komunikasi, pemikiran kritis, kreativitas, dan kolaborasi. Studi ini merekomendasikan agar solusi tersebut diperkuat dalam regulasi tingkat makro, seperti ketetapan MPR atau regulasi setara, untuk memastikan dampak yang luas dan signifikan terhadap warga negara. Temuan ini menyarankan bahwa kerangka hukum yang kuat dapat memperkuat strategi pendidikan ini, yang akan menyebabkan peningkatan yang mendalam dan meluas pada kapital manusia Indonesia.

Abstract

The development of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and Society 5.0 has caused major changes in the world of work and education in Indonesia. In this context, vocational education plays a crucial role in preparing a quality workforce that meets market needs. This study aims to assess the vocational education system in vocational high schools by applying the Link and Match concept and in-depth learning in the vocational high school curriculum that can adapt to the needs of the current industrial and social era. The method used in this study is the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation approach by collecting data through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The findings of this study indicate that the vocational education system has made progress, as seen in the alignment between the curriculum and industry needs supported by the Link and Match program, although there are still challenges in the areas of facilities, teacher competence, and technology implementation that need to be improved. Project-based learning, internships, and teaching factories have proven effective in improving students' readiness for work. However, improving digital competencies and soft skills is an urgent need for graduates to be able to compete at a global level. This study recommends increasing cooperation between vocational schools and industry and sustainable development in terms of human resources and infrastructure to respond to changes occurring in Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0.. Abstract

This study is motivated by the suboptimal use of academic supervision data as the basis for evaluating learning processes. The study aim to describe the role of the principal’s leadership in strengthening learning quality through data-based academic supervision at MI Muhammadiyah Tahfidzul Qur’an, Matesih, Karanganyar. The study focuses on three main aspects: the form of the principal’s leadership in implementing academic supervision, the implementation of data-based academic supervision, and its contribution to strengthening learning quality. The research adopts a descriptive qualitative design with teachers and the school principal as the research subjects. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation, while data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings reveal that the principal applied transformational and participatory leadership styles that fostered a collaborative and reflective culture among teachers. Data-based academic supervision was systematically implemented by utilizing classroom observation results, learning evaluations, and teacher reflections as the basis for professional development. The application of data-based supervision improved the objectivity of assessments, teacher professionalism, learning effectiveness, and student achievement. The study concludes that the integration of principal leadership with data-based academic supervision serves as an effective strategy to build a sustainable culture of learning quality in elementary education. The implications indicate that improving the quality of learning in elementary schools can be achieved more effectively when principals develop a structured, data-driven, and reflective academic supervision system. The findings of this study can serve as a reference for principals and school supervisors in designing continuous professional development policies for teachers, as well as a basis for future researchers to explore data-based academic supervision models in broader educational contexts.

Abstract

Manajemen supervisi akademik merupakan instrumen strategis untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM) guru, namun efektivitasnya seringkali diperiksa di lembaga-lembaga pendidikan yang kompleks seperti Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) yang memiliki bidang ajar produktif dan normatif dengan karakteristik berbeda-beda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan membandingkan efektivitas supervisi manajemen akademik pada guru bidang produktif dan normatif dalam upaya meningkatkan manajemen SDM di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Baturetno. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi dengan informan yang terdiri dari kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, serta guru dari kedua bidang. Analisis data dilakukan secara interaktif melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Praktik supervisi secara substansial berbeda; pengawasan pada guru produktif fokus pada aspek teknis dan relevansi industri, sedangkan pada guru normatif lebih menekankan pada inovasi pedagogis dan pengelolaan kelas. (2) Terdapat perbedaan persepsi efektivitas yang signifikan; guru merasa pengawasan produktif kurang membantu dalam pembaruan pengetahuan teknis, sementara guru normatif merasa sangat terbantu dalam strategi pengembangan mengajar. (3) Model pengawasan “satu untuk semua” terbukti tidak efektif karena gagal menjawab kebutuhan pengembangan profesional yang spesifik pada masing-masing bidang. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa efektivitas pengawasan sebagai alat manajemen SDM di SMK menuntut adanya pendekatan yang terdiferensiasi, baik dalam instrumen, fokus pengawasan, maupun program tindak lanjutnya.

Abstract

Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka sebagai kebijakan pemulihan pembelajaran pascapandemi COVID-19 merupakan langkah strategis untuk meningkatkan kualitas proses belajar melalui pendekatan yang fleksibel, kontekstual, berpihak pada peserta didik, serta menguatkan Profil Pelajar Pancasila dan kompetensi abad ke-21. Namun, di tingkat satuan pendidikan, pelaksanaannya belum optimal karena berbagai hambatan implementatif yang kompleks dan sistemik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi hambatan utama implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, mengkaji hambatan dominan pada aspek kompetensi guru, asesmen pembelajaran, serta sarana-prasarana dan dukungan sumber daya, serta menyusun rekomendasi strategis berdasarkan sintesis literatur nasional dan internasional periode 2021–2025. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode review literatur naratif, data dikumpulkan melalui studi dokumentasi artikel jurnal dan publikasi ilmiah yang tersedia penuh. Analisis dilakukan dengan teknik analisis isi tematik, meliputi pengkodean, pengelompokan kategori, dan sintesis temuan lintas studi. Hasil menunjukkan hambatan dominan meliputi keterbatasan pemahaman dan kompetensi guru dalam pembelajaran berdiferensiasi serta penyusunan modul ajar, kesulitan penerapan asesmen diagnostik dan formatif akibat pergeseran paradigma penilaian yang belum merata, serta ketimpangan sarana-prasarana, akses teknologi, dan sumber daya antar sekolah. Literatur menegaskan pentingnya pelatihan guru berkelanjutan dan praktis, pendampingan implementasi intensif, pemerataan fasilitas pembelajaran, serta penguatan manajemen kebijakan agar Kurikulum Merdeka tidak sekadar administratif, melainkan berdampak nyata pada peningkatan mutu dan pemerataan kualitas belajar di seluruh satuan pendidikan.

Abstract

The study aims to evaluate the implementation of teacher competency in 21st- century learning at SMP IPK Muhammadiyah Delanggu, specifically highlighting the quality of the teaching and learning process execution. This evaluation research utilizes the CIPP Model (Context, Input, Process, Product) approach, with the main focus on the Process dimension to analyze how teacher competencies are translated into classroom instruction. Data were collected through structured observation of core subject teachers, in-depth interviews with teachers and school management, and analysis of Lesson Implementation Plans (RPP/Lesson Plans). The results of the process analysis indicate that the implementation of Collaboration, Communication, and Innovation competencies falls into the Fairly Good category, supported by ICT integration and the commitment of the school management. Teachers consistently facilitate group assignments and utilize simple digital media. Furthermore, the integration of Islamic values in general subjects was also well-executed, aligning with the institution's vision. However, key findings identify a significant gap in Critical Thinking competency. The average proficiency of teachers in triggering Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) questions remains relatively low, indicating insufficient transfer from training to classroom practice. The main obstacle identified was the lack of duration and intensity of practical mentorship following training (clinical supervision). This study recommends the need for continuous professional development more focused on strengthening critical pedagogy, particularly in designing stimuli to enhance students' analytical thinking skills.

Abstract

Problem-solving skills and Computational Thinking (CT) are very important skills in today's digital era. Improving the ability of CT mathematics education students is becoming increasingly important as the need for skills develops in the 21st century. Project-based learning (PBL) has been shown to be effective in improving these skills. However, the limited research examining the impact of PBL with Delphi software on computational thinking skills in mathematics education encourages the need for further research. This study aims to explore the impact of project-based learning with Delphi on improving students' computational thinking skills. This type of research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design. The population is 6th semester students of mathematics education. The sample consisted of two classes totaling 40 students. The results of the T test showed that the experimental group showed a significant improvement compared to the control group (t = 4,102, p < 0.05). The implications of this research are important for the development of a technology-based mathematics education curriculum. It is recommended for further research with a larger sample of different institutions to explore the long-term impact as well as other factors that may affect project-based learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the role of educational supervision in strengthening an Islamic values-based quality culture at MI Muhammadiyah Kasihan IV Tegalombo. In the Society 5.0 era, Islamic schools are expected to produce not only intelligent but also moral and civilized students. The study uses a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, staff, and students. Analysis followed the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model with source triangulation for validity. The findings reveal that educational supervision is conducted in a humanistic and reflective manner. The principal acts as a murabbi, guiding teachers’ professional and spiritual growth. Quality culture develops from faith-based awareness rather than systemic pressure. The values of sincerity, trustworthiness, excellence (ihsan), and responsibility underpin all educational activities. Supervision is carried out through dialogue and consultation, fostering a spirit of togetherness. Islamic values-based supervision effectively strengthens quality culture, creating a learning ecosystem that is high-quality, character-driven, and spiritually grounded reviving education’s essence as a process of humanization.

Abstract

Supervisi akademik ialah aktivitas pelatihan profesional yang dilaksanakan kepala sekolah guna memberikan bantuan kepada guru melaksanakan pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik serta profesional. Penelitian berikut bertujuan guna menganalisa serta membandingkan efektivitas supervisi manajemen akademik pada guru bidang produktif serta guru bidang normatif di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Baturetno. Penelitian berikut memakai metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan komparatif. Populasi pada penelitian ialah semua guru di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Baturetno, sedangkan sampel ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling yang mencakup semua guru mata pelajaran produktif berjumlah 18 orang serta semua guru mata pelajaran normatif yang berjumlah 25 orang. Output uji Independen Samples t-test memperlihatkan bahwasannya ada perbedaan signifikan efektivitas supervisi manajemen akademik pada bidang produktif serta bidang normatif di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Baturetno. Taraf signifikansi (2-tailed) yang diperoleh sejumlah 0,025, yang lebih kecil daripada 0,05, maka H₀ ditolak serta Hₐ diterima, dengan taraf t hitung yang lebih besar daripada t tabel. Rata-rata skor efektivitas supervisi akademik untuk guru bidang normatif ialah 74, sedangkan rata-rata skor untuk guru bidang produktif ialah 68,71, memperlihatkan bahwasannya persepsi efektivitas supervisi akademik lebih tinggi pada bidang normatif dibandingkan pada bidang produktif.
