Abstract

Berdasarkan UU Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 pasal 3 tentang tujuan pendidikan nasional. Pendidikan dasar berfungsi sebagai fondasi penting dalam membentuk generasi penerus yang unggul, dengan guru berperan signifikan dalam meningkatkan mutu dan kualitas pendidikan. Literasi, sebagai keterampilan membaca dan menulis, sangat penting di era digital. Salah satu cara meningkatkan literasi adalah melalui penulisan cerpen. Teknologi pendidikan, seperti AI (Artificial Intelligence), dapat membantu dalam proses ini. Chat GPT, sebuah sistem kecerdasan buatan, dapat memberikan rekomendasi dalam pembuatan cerpen. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Supriyadi Semarang, dengan melibatkan siswa kelas VI A dalam kegiatan penulisan cerpen berbantuan AI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Chat GPT dalam menulis cerpen meningkatkan kemampuan literasi siswa. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa antusias dan kreatif dalam kegiatan ini, membuktikan bahwa penggunaan AI efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi siswa di SD Supriyadi Semarang.

Abstract

Dalam era globalisasi, isu lingkungan menjadi perhatian utama karena kemajuan teknologi dan industrialisasi meningkatkan limbah plastik yang mencemari ekosistem. Pendidikan lingkungan sejak dini, terutama di sekolah dasar, sangat penting untuk menanamkan kesadaran menjaga lingkungan pada peserta didik. Pembuatan ecobrick merupakan salah satu cara kreatif untuk mengelola limbah plastik dan telah diterapkan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas II SDN Gajahmungkur 04. Kegiatan ini efektif meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan, tanggung jawab, kreativitas, kerjasama, dan pemahaman konsep daur ulang peserta didik. Melalui observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa peserta didik menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam berbagai aspek literasi lingkungan. Disarankan agar kegiatan pembuatan ecobrick diterapkan secara berkelanjutan dan diperluas ke kelas lain, serta melibatkan pelatihan tambahan bagi peserta didik dan orang tua.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efek penggunaan media pembelajaran terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas II di Sekolah Dasar. Latar belakang penelitian ini muncul dari tantangan yang ada dalam meningkatkan standar pendidikan dasar, dimana hasil belajar siswa menjadi fokus utama. Penggunaan media pembelajaran telah diakui sebagai strategi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan proses pembelajaran, namun dampaknya terhadap pencapaian belajar siswa masih perlu diteliti lebih lanjut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan penekanan pada pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui serangkaian langkah, dimulai dari identifikasi media pembelajaran yang digunakan, pengamatan terhadap proses pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan media tersebut, hingga analisis efeknya terhadap pencapaian akademik siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran secara efektif meningkatkan pemahaman dan akademik siswa kelas II. Penelitian ini memberikan tambahan bukti terhadap pentingnya penerapan media pembelajaran dalam konteks pendidikan dasar. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini memberikan wawasan yang mendalam mengenai kontribusi media pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas II di Sekolah Dasar dan menyoroti potensi pentingnya dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di tingkat dasar secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

The Quality of Teaching Digitalization in Primary School Context and Its Relationship to Leadership and Work Motivation. Objectives: This research aims to determine the influence of principal leadership and teacher work motivation on the quality of digitalization of teaching. Methods: This research method is quantitative causal comparative with teacher and school principal participants. Population 403 people, research sample 200 people with simple random sampling. The instrument has passed the validity test, reliability test and prerequisite test. Hypothesis testing uses correlation tests and analysis of variance. Findings: The research results show that there is a positive influence of the principal's leadership on the quality of teaching digitalization, there is a positive influence of teacher work motivation on the quality of teaching digitalization, and there is a joint positive influence of the principal's leadership and teacher work motivation on the quality of teaching digitalization. Conclusion: It can be concluded that the results of this research reaffirm how important the role of school principal leadership and teacher work motivation is in realizing teaching quality. Keywords: digitalization school management, digitizing schools work, supportive leadership, intrinsic motivation, digital scholarship.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v14.i2.202474

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the planning, organization, implementation, and  evaluation of school digitalization to improve academic quality at SMAN 1 Karangrayung, Central Java. This study uses a qualitative approach using observation, interview and documentation methods for data collection. The informants selected with a total of 23 people consisting of the Principal, Vice Principal, Teachers and Students.The data analysis technique in this study uses qualitative descriptive. Based on the results of the study, the management of school digitalization at SMA Negeri 1 Karangrayung has been running well in improving academic quality, covering aspects of planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. In planning, the school has formulated digitalization objectives, identified problems, collected relevant data, determined implementation stages, and formulated problem solving, including in terms of infrastructure, teacher training, data security, and program sustainability. Organization is carried out with a clear division of labor, the formation of a digitalization team, and routine coordination through periodic meetings to ensure smooth implementation. At the implementation stage, the school sets an implementation schedule, provides examples of technology applications, motivates teachers, communicates tasks well, and carries out ongoing coaching so that the digitalization program runs optimally. Evaluation is carried out by determining supervision standards, measuring teacher performance, comparing implementation results with established standards, and making continuous improvements. Overall, a systematic approach to school digitalization management has supported the improvement of academic quality and learning effectiveness at SMA Negeri 1 Karangrayung.

Abstract

The quality of learning in schools is shaped by several key factors, including the principal's leadership style, school culture, and teacher professionalism. This research aims to examine the individual and combined effects of these factors on the learning quality in public junior high schools in the Kendal region. Using a quantitative approach, the study collected data from 118 respondents across 4 schools through observations and questionnaires. The findings indicate that (1) transformational leadership significantly influences the quality of learning, accounting for 73.3% of its variation. (2) School culture also plays a crucial role, explaining 68.9% of the variation in learning quality. (3) Teacher professionalism is another important factor, contributing 73.0% to the variation in learning outcomes. (4) When combined, transformational leadership, school culture, and teacher professionalism together account for 78.7% of the variation in learning quality. To improve learning outcomes, it is recommended that school principals focus on developing a transformational leadership style through ongoing training. Additionally, schools should actively nurture a positive and strong culture by engaging the entire educational community, including teachers, students, and parents. Teachers are encouraged to enhance their professionalism through structured training, continuous personal development, and fostering a high level of commitment to their teaching responsibilities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of principal leadership, work motivation, and teachers’ professional competence on the quality of public elementary schools in Bantarbolang District. A quantitative approach with a correlational design was employed. The study population comprised 345 teachers and principals from 46 public elementary schools, with a sample of 185 respondents selected through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results indicate that principal leadership has a significant influence on school quality, contributing 54.4%. Teachers’ work motivation also shows a significant impact, contributing 53.9%. Furthermore, teachers’ professional competence contributes 41.5% to school quality. Simultaneously, the three independent variables have a positive and significant effect on school quality, with a total contribution of 75.9%. These findings suggest that improving school quality can be achieved through strengthening principal leadership, enhancing teachers’ work motivation, and developing their professional competence. This research is expected to contribute to efforts in improving the quality of education in elementary schools and serve as a reference for future studies in the field of educational management.

Abstract

The selection of potential leaders in schools in Indonesia is still problematic. The objective of this study to determine the effect of learning agility and digital literacy on the potential future school leaders. This article is based on a quantitative research approach with a comparative causal design, a sample of 380 people with a simple random sampling. The research held in Kendal Regency, 2024-2025 school year. The instrument was tested and the results were valid and reliable. The research data were tested for prerequisites which showed normal, homogeneous, and linear. The research hypothesis was tested with Pearson product-moment correlation, determination test, and linear regression. The study result shows that there is positive, significant, and strong influence of learning agility on the potential of future school leaders; there is a strong, positive, and considerable influence of digital literacy on the potential future school leaders; and there is also positive, significant and strong influence of learning agility and digital literacy together on the potential future school leaders. This research contributes to the development of educational leadership concept from the aspect of teacher leadership. It is concluded that the selection of prospective teacher leaders needs to consider learning agility and digital literacy.

Abstract

Melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat bagi tenaga pendidik adalah salah satu upaya untuk melaksanakan salah satu Tridarma perguruan tinggi yaitu Pengabdian. Kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah suatu upaya Universitas PGRI Semarang, agar supaya bisa memberikan sumbangsih ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi kepada masyarakat. Berkaitan dengan tersebut, kami Tim dari S2 Manajemen Pendidikan/Pendidikan Dasar Program Pascasarjana mengajukan usulan kegiatan Pengabdian bagi guru SD kelas IV, V, VI se Kecamatan Kaloran Temanggung. Tujuan Pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pelatihan bagi guru SD kelas IV agar mempunyai kemampuan untuk mengembangan bahan ajar berbasis CRT dan melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan e-modul yang telah dibuat karena siswa SD sekolah masih memerlukan pembelajaran yang menarik dan hal-hal yang konkrit. Dengan adanya kegiatan pengabdian ini, maka guru SD mempunyai dan dapat memahami tentang penggunaan bahan ajar digital berbasis CRT secara daring maupun luring dapat berjalan dengan baik dan lancar. Dengan menerapkan bahan ajar digital berbasis CRT, maka memberikan peluang bagi anak-anak untuk dapat bermain sambil belajar. Target luaran yang diharapkan dari kegitan ini adalah (1) guru SD dapat mengembangkan bahan ajar digital berbasis CRT yang menyajikan gabungan dua unsur atau lebih media yang terdiri dari teks, image, animasi, audio dan video secara terintegrasi dan (2) pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan guru dengan bahan ajar digital dapat meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran yang bervariatif, menarik dan lebih  maksimal.

Abstract

Kemampuan matematika, kemahiran dalam pemecahan masalah matematika dan komunikasi dianggap penting bagi semua pelajar mengingat tantangan yang ditimbulkan oleh era kontemporer globalisasi dan informasi. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengukur kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik kelas V dengan berbantuan media pembelajaran bangun ruang prisma dan tabung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif (PTKK). Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri Gayamsari 01, dengan jumlah peserta didik 21 anak, dengan 11 laki-laki dan 10 perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan 2 siklus yang dikemukakan oleh Kemmis & Mc. Taggart. Kriteria keberhasilan adalah apabila dari 80% dari jumlah peserta didik yang telah mencapai batas dalam kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media pembelajaran bangun ruang prisma dan tabung dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri Gayamsari 01 dalam kategori baik.
