Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurship learning and subjective norms on students' entrepreneurial attitudes and interests. This study is a descriptive exploratory study with 33 biology education students as subjects. The research instrument used was a closed questionnaire with degraded answers according to the Likert scale and had been validated by experts. Analysis of research data used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with multiple linear regression test at a significance level of 5%. The results of the study show that (1) biology students' perceptions of entrepreneurship learning, subjective norms, attitudes and entrepreneurial interests are in the Good category; (2) there is an effect of entrepreneurship learning and subjective norms on student entrepreneurial attitudes with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05; (3) there is an effect of entrepreneurship learning and subjective norms on student entrepreneurial interest with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05; (4) entrepreneurship learning and subjective norms influence student entrepreneurial attitudes by 50.1% and the rest are influenced by variables or other factors; (5) entrepreneurship learning and subjective norms affect student entrepreneurial interest by 42.7% and the rest is influenced by variables or other factors.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek pendidikan kewirausahaan terhadap self efficacy mahasiswa di bidang entrepreneur. Studi ini merupakan penelitian eksploratif dengan subyek penelitian sebanyak 35 mahasiswa pendidikan biologi. Intrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket tertutup dengan jawaban berdegradasi sesuai skala likert yang telah dinyatakan valid. Analisis data penelitian yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan uji regresi linier sederhana pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa (1) persepsi mahasiswa tentang pendidikan kewirausahaan memiliki rata-rata skor sebesar 3,15 dengan kategori Baik dan self efficacy sebesar 3,12 dengan kategori Baik; (2) ada efek pendidikan kewirausahaan terhadap self efficacy mahasiswa dengan nilai F sebesar 22,599 dan nilai signifikansi (p-value) 0,000  lebih kecil dari nilai alpha pengujian 0,05 (0,05); (3) pendidikan kewirausahaan mempengaruhi self efficacy mahasiswa dalam bidang wirausaha sebesar 40,6% dan sisanya dipengaruhi variabel atau faktor lainnya

Abstract

This study aims to compare biology students' perceptions toward entrepreneurship learning based on gender and semester level. This study is an exploratory research with 35 biology education students as respondents. The research instrument used was a closed questionnaire with degraded answers according to a Likert scale that had been validated by experts and declared valid. Analysis of research data used is descriptive quantitative statistics and inferential statistics with t-test and ANOVA test at a significance level of 5%. The results of the study show that (1) the perception of biology education students towards entrepreneurship learning based on gender is known to male students have an average 3.11 in good category and women 3.18 in good category, while based on the semester level it is known that fourth semester students have an average 3.17 in good category, semester VI 3.14 in good category, and semester VIII 3.15 in good category (2) there is no significant difference in students' perceptions of entrepreneurship learning between male and female with a significance value of 0.613>0.05; (3) there is no significant difference in students' perceptions of entrepreneurship learning between semesters IV, VI, VIII with a significance value of 0.988> 0.05.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk membina guru-guru dalam penyusunan karya ilmiah, sebagai upaya meningkatkan profesionalisme guru IPA di MA Nurul Islam Sekarbela. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 15 orang guru IPA di MA Nurul Islam Sekarbela sebagai mitra kegiatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian adalah workshop, dengan rangkaian kegiatan yang meliputi pemberian materi, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan guru tentang langkah-langkah penulisan karya ilmiah dan artikel ilmiah, serta kemampuan menulis artikel ilmiah di kalangan guru MA Nurul Islam Sekarbela. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil artikel guru yang telah dipaparkan melalui presentasi, yang menunjukkan peningkatan kualitas artikel dan sesuai dengan harapan. Untuk mencapai hasil yang lebih baik, kegiatan pendampingan perlu dilakukan secara kontinu agar guru dapat mandiri dalam membuat karya ilmiah berupa artikel yang dapat dipublikasikan di jurnal-jurnal nasional. Training on Scientific Writing to Improve the Professionalism of Science Teachers at MA Nurul Islam Sekarbela The aim of this community service activity is to provide training to science teachers in scientific writing, as an effort to improve the professionalism of science teachers at MA Nurul Islam Sekarbela. This activity involves 15 science teachers at MA Nurul Islam Sekarbela as partners. The method used in this community service activity is a workshop, with a series of activities including material delivery, training, mentoring, and evaluation. The results of this activity show an improvement in the knowledge of teachers about the steps of scientific writing and scientific articles, as well as the ability to write scientific articles among teachers at MA Nurul Islam Sekarbela. This is evident from the results of the articles presented by teachers through presentations, which show an improvement in the quality of the articles and are in line with expectations. To achieve better results, continuous mentoring activities need to be carried out so that teachers can independently create scientific works in the form of articles that can be published in national journals.

Abstract

This study aims to elaborate on science learning based on indigenous science, the culture of the Sasak ethnics of Lombok. This study is library research with data sources from previous research articles that have topics related to science learning, science concepts, ethnoscience, and songket cloth, poteng jaje tujak, and bale adat. The procedure in literature study research is carried out in stages, namely collecting library data, reading, taking notes, studying, collecting concepts or manuscripts, then carrying out elaboration and explanation of the collected data/text. The study results show that (1) the nature of learning science can be classified into three dimensions, namely science as a product, science as a process, and science as an attitude; (2) indigenous science in songket wayang motifs, subahnale motifs keker motifs four star, and alang/lumbung which have relevance to the basic science competence of “analyzing the reproductive system in plants and animals and the application of technology to the reproductive system of plants and animal”; (3) indigenous science in the materials for making bale adat has relevance to the basic competence of natural science on “analyzing the interrelationships of plant tissue structures and their functions, as well as technology inspired by plant structures”; (4) indigenous science in the process of making poteng jaje tujak has relevance to the basic competence of natural science regarding “applying the concept of biotechnology and its role in human life”.

Abstract

The study aims to explore the attitudes of science teacher candidates towards indigenous science-based science learning. This study is an exploratory research conducted in three study programs that provide science teacher education, namely Biology, Chemistry, and Physics Education with 53 research subjects. This study uses a research instrument in the form of a closed questionnaire with answers using a Likert scale and has been validated by experts. The research data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive statistics and inferential statistics Anova test and t-test. The results of this study are (1) the attitude of students in the biology education study program has an average score of 3,29 in the Good category, physics education is 3,00 in the Good category, and chemistry education is 3,13 in the Good category; (2) the attitude of male students has an average score of 3,21 in the Good category and 3,28 for women in the Good category; (3) there is no significant difference in the attitudes of students of biology, chemistry, physics education study programs towards indigenous science-based science learning in songket cloth motifs, as evidenced by the significance value of the Anova test of 0,507>0,05; (4) there is no significant difference in the attitudes of male and female students towards indigenous science-based learning in the songket cloths motifs, as evidenced by the significance value of the t-test of 0,455>0,05.

Studi ini merupakan penelitian eksploratif dengan subyek penelitian sebanyak 35 mahasiswa pendidikan biologi. Intrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket tertutup dengan jawaban berdegradasi sesuai skala likert yang telah dinyatakan valid. Analisis data penelitian yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan uji-t pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa (1) persepsi mahasiswa tentang self efficacy dalam bidang wirausaha memiliki rata-rata skor jawaban mahasiswa berjenis kelamin pria sebesar 3,16 dengan kategori Baik dan mahasiswa berjenis kelamin wanita sebesar 3,10 dengan kategori Baik; (2) tidak ada perbedaan signifikan persepsi mahasiswa tentang self efficacy dalam bidang wirausaha antara yang berjenis kelamin pria dan wanita, dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,716 lebih besar dari nilai alpha pengujian 0,05 (0,05).

Abstract

This study aims to determine differences in student perceptions about self-efficacy in the field of entrepreneurship based on gender and semester. This study is an exploratory research with 35 biology education students as subjects. The research instrument used was a closed questionnaire with degraded answers according to a Likert scale that had been declared valid. Analysis of research data used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with t-test and Anova test at a significance level of 5%. The results of the study show that (1) students' perceptions of self-efficacy in the field of entrepreneurship has an average score of male students at 3.16 with the Good category and women at 3.10, while semester IV students are at 3.09 with the Good category, semester VI is at 3.12 with the Good category, and semester VIII of 3.15 in the Good category; (2) there is no significant difference in students' perceptions of self-efficacy in the field of entrepreneurship between male and female gender, as evidenced by a significance value of 0.716 greater than the alpha testing value of 0.05 (>0.05); (3) there is no significant difference in the perceptions of semester IV, VI, VIII students about self-efficacy in the field of entrepreneurship as evidenced by a significance value of 0.959 greater than the alpha testing value of 0.05 (>0.05).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation of self-efficacy with student attitudes in the field of entrepreneurship. This study is a descriptive exploratory study with 35 biology education students as subjects. The research instrument used was a closed questionnaire with degraded answers according to a Likert scale that had been validated by experts and declared valid. Analysis of the research data used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with a product moment (rxy) correlation test at a significance level of 5%. The study results show that (1) students' perceptions about self-efficacy has an average score of 3.12 in the Good category and an entrepreneurial attitude of 3.06 in the Good category; (2) there is a significant relationship between self-efficacy and student attitudes in the field of entrepreneurship with a significance value of 0.000 which is smaller than the alpha testing value of 0.05 (<0.05); (3) the value of the correlation coefficient is 0.803, which means that the relationship is very strong between self-efficacy and student attitudes in the field of entrepreneurship.

Abstract

This study aims to describing the perception of science teacher candidates toward cultural literacy. This study is an exploratory research with 61 biology education students as subjects, comprising 28 from the Biology Education program at Mandalika University of Education, 16 from Hamzanwadi University, and 17 from Mataram State Islamic University. The research instrument used was a closed questionnaire with degraded answers according to a Likert scale that had been declared valid. Analysis of research data used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with Anova test at a significance level of 5%. The results of the study show that (1) average score of student perceptions regarding cultural literacy, namely, students from Mandalika University of Education have an average score of 2.86 in the Good category, students from Hamzanwadi University have an average score of 2.58 in the Good category, and students from Mataram State Islamic University have an average score of 2.64 in the Good category.; (2) there is a significant difference in the perception of students at Mandalika University of Education, Hamzanwadi University, and Mataram State Islamic University regarding cultural literacy, as evidenced by a significance value of 0.030 is smaller than the alpha testing value of 0.05 (<0.05).
