Abstract

The growing use of language is a result of the rapid development of technology and social media. In the modern context, what is meant is information and communication technology. Through communication using language aims to reach an agreement and understanding. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of Arabic through social media as a universal communication tool. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a library research approach. The study area includes the fields of business economics, information dissemination, and plotik diplomacy. Data collection techniques are relevant documents and journals. Data analysis by reading, marking, and summarizing. The results prove that Arabic plays an important role in the field of business economics, this is supported by the existence of giant economic projects in Arab countries, and its geographical location is very strategic and supports the creative economy in Indonesia. Arabic is also a medium for disseminating global information. This is evidenced by the Arabic website Al-Jazeera, as well as international Arabic seminars. Technological advances also provide benefits in the field of Arabic language learning. Furthermore, the role of Arabic in the field of culture, with the holding of Al-Arabiyah Lil Funnun activities is evidence of the role of Arabic in the field of culture. While in the field of diplomacy, it certainly includes relations between countries and in the political field as evidenced by the existence of political movements such as the Arab Spring.

Abstract

Foreign language is one of the fundamental elements in creating the world class university. To realize a world class university, the excellent Arabic language learning program is necessary to meet the needs of international communication in the internal and external environment of the campus. This study aimed to explore and analyze the Arabic language learning program at UIN Maliki Malang. The research data were obtained from the interview with campus governance and direct observation of Arabic learning program activities and the documentation of strategic planning of Arabic language learning programs to create a world class university. The interviews were conducted with 10 people of campus institution governance. The results showed that Arabic language learning program in realizing a world class university is an implementation of the university's vision which is contained in the development of an integrated curriculum and ulul albab character. The curriculum is designed in the form of a "tree of knowledge" construction. To form solid scientific roots, linguistic strengthening is needed so that its branches and its twigs are strong too. Language strengthening is manifested in the form of the Special Arabic Language Class Program (PKPBA), Ma'had al-jami'ah program and intensive training for educators and educational staff. These findings indicate that the integration of Arabic language learning programs between internal campus institutions is a measure of success in realizing a world class university. The recommendation for further research was to measure the effectiveness of each program at UIN Maliki Malang.

Abstract

Arabic language learning in Indonesia has a crucial role, with various steps that can improve the effectiveness of its teaching. This article aims to find out the role of native Arabic speakers in the language learning process, the language and cultural gaps that occur, and learning reflections for the future. In this study, the researcher uses a narrative study method that makes a person's life experience the main data. The research data collection technique uses a story framework and interviews. To analyse the data, the researcher used the following steps: 1) The researcher collects data through story frameworks and interviews, 2) selects and classifies the information to facilitate its presentation, and 3) presents the data by processing the classified information based on temporal aspects and drawing conclusions. The results showed that 1) Arabic plays an important role in Indonesian education, which can be improved by involving native speakers in teaching. 2) The language and cultural gap between Indonesia and other countries can be overcome by simplifying the language and adjusting teaching methods and learning environments. 3) Reflection on curriculum development, facilities, and technological utilisation can support Arabic language acquisition, followed by high motivation to improve students' skills.

Abstract

Kualitas sumber daya manusia menentukan tingkat pemahaman keagamaan masyarakat. Rendahnya kesadaran beragama, perilaku budaya pendatang lebih dominan, serta kurangnya peran tokoh masyarakat menyebabkan rendahnya religiusitas masyarakat Merjosari. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penenlitian kualitiatif menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) yaitu antara subjek penelitian dan peneliti sebagai pemantik. Peneliti menggali data malalui pengamatan mendalam dan wawancara. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk ditarik simpulan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pemahaman kitab kuning, penghayatan keagamaan, serta peningkatan kualitas sikap religius masyarakat Merjosari terhadap Kitab Bulughul Maram dan Wirid Ratib al-Haddad. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan meningkatnya religiusitas masyarakat Merjosari dapat dilihat dari intensitas dan kuantitas pelaksanaan ibadah shalat lima waktu dan shalat sunnah lainnya di dalam masjid. Religiusitas masyarakat dapat dilihat dari lingkungan yang bersih dari pergaulan bebas antara lawan jenis, keseriusan masyarakat mengikuti kajian kitab dan bacaan wirid,  juga permintaan kuat untuk terus dilaksanakan kajian kitab dan bacaan wirid setiap hari.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of Arabic language learning within a sociolinguistic context at Darussalam Sumani Islamic boarding school. Arabic is not only a means of conveying religious teachings, but also serves to understand linguistic phenomena that appear in society. This research aims to explore the mastery of Arabic through social factors around it. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The object of the research was 30 students of the Darussalam Sumani Solok Islamic boarding school. Data analysis was carried out using mailes and hubberman techniques, collecting data, analyzing data, displaying/describing data and conclusions. Findings reveal that social factors such as talent, interest, and motivation significantly influence students' mastery of Arabic. Talent refers to natural potential, while interest and motivation are shaped by environmental and educational support. The study concludes that integrating social factors into teaching strategies can enhance Arabic language learning outcomes.

Abstract

Arabic is one of the branches of the Semitic language family that still exists and continues to develop rapidly today. One indicator of this development is the presence of various dialects within the Arabic language. These dialects have spread across regions, from West Asia (the Middle East) to North Africa. As a result, what is known as fuṣḥá Arabic and ‘āmiyah Arabic emerged. Fuṣḥá is the standard form of the language, while ‘āmiyah refers to regional dialects. This research discusses the differences between Fuṣḥá Arabic and Yemeni Arabic. The study was conducted due to the lack of research explicitly addressing the distinctions between these two forms. This research explores how Yemeni Arabic is used in daily life and how it differs from Fuṣḥá Arabic. The method used is a literature review with a qualitative descriptive approach. The findings reveal several key differences between Fuṣḥá Arabic and Yemeni Arabic, which are categorized into three main aspects: vocabulary, phonology, and stylistics. These aspects are analyzed in detail, highlighting the linguistic distinctions between the two varieties.

Abstract

Loan words were foreign words used by a particular language to fill a linguistic gap, multiplying borrowed words in the target language. In addition to borrowing words from Sanskrit, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, and English, the Indonesian language also use many words from Arabic. As part of this research, the researchers attempted to determine which words were borrowed and to investigate the meaning of the Arabic borrowed words in the primary body of the Indonesian Constitution. The method used for this research was the qualitative descriptive method, and the approach used is a librarian and the procedure for data collection. The researcher used written documents and the method to analyze the data. The researcher used the comparative approach to define the change of meaning of Arabic borrowed words in the Indonesian language in the preamble of the Indonesian Constitution in 1945. The result of the research was the number of Arabic borrowed words at the opening of the Basic Constitution 19. The borrowed word the research is expected to add ınsıght and knowledge ın the field of langueage and can provıde ınformatıon and ınput.

Abstract

The potential for radicalism in educational environments poses a serious challenge to instilling values of diversity and tolerance among religious communities. Educational institutions, particularly Islamic boarding schools, play a strategic role in shaping a generation that is not only intellectually capable but also possesses inclusive and moderate character traits. This study aims to analyze the role of Arabic language learning in enhancing religious moderation awareness among students at Darun Nun. Using a qualitative case study approach, data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman's techniques. The results of the study indicate that Arabic language learning through the study of classical texts, contextual learning, active dialogue, and participation in social activities significantly contributes to strengthening the values of tolerance, balance, appreciation of diversity, and an inclusive attitude in the lives of students. This study makes an important contribution to understanding Arabic language learning that is not only linguistically and communicatively oriented but also transformative in shaping the character of students who are wise, open-minded, and able to live harmoniously in a diverse society. These findings also open up opportunities for further exploration in various pesantren contexts and other educational institutions focused on character development.

Abstract

Objective: This study investigates the application of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) in adopting Hospital Information Management Systems (HIMS) and related healthcare technologies from 2020 to 2025. Method: Through a systematic literature review, 20 studies were analyzed to identify key factors influencing HIMS adoption, barriers, facilitators, and their impact on healthcare service quality and patient satisfaction. Results: Perceived usefulness (PU) and perceived ease of use (PEOU) consistently emerged as critical determinants of acceptance, underscoring the importance of user-friendly, functional designs. Privacy concerns, resistance to change, and inadequate training were identified as significant barriers, while organizational support, trust-building measures, and personalization facilitated adoption. The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the adoption of telehealth and IoT solutions, highlighting the role of external factors in driving acceptance. However, sustaining long-term engagement requires robust security measures, adaptive technologies, and standardization of evaluation metrics. Novelty: This study offers actionable insights for healthcare administrators and policymakers to optimize HIMS adoption, improve operational efficiency, and enhance patient satisfaction.

Abstract

ملخص البحث: البحث هذا يهدف إلى تطوير كتاب "القواعد الأساسية في علم النحو" الذي يمكن أن يُحسن مهارة الكتابة للطلاب في مدرسة المتواسطة هاشم الأشعري مالانج. المنهج المستخدم في البحث هذا هو "البحث والتطوير" (R&D) بنموذج ADDIE الذي يتكون من خمس مراحل: التحليل، التصميم، التطوير، التنفيذ، والتقييم. أظهرت نتائج هذه الدراسة أن إعداد كتاب قواعد النحوية على أساس التعليم المشروط لروبرت م. غاني من خلال خمس مراحل، وهي: تحليل الاحتياجات: توفير شرح منظم، أمثلة، وتدريبات بهدف تعزيز فهم الطلاب. التصميم: يهدف إلى توفير راحة للقارئ.التطوير: إعداد المواد بطريقة منظمة تبدأ بجذب انتباه الطلاب ثم تعزيز المادة، مع توفير أمثلة وتدريبات لتعميق فهم قواعد النحوية. التنفيذ: يطبق على 15 طالباً من الصف السابع "ج".التقييم: يتضمن التحقق من قبل خبراء المادة واللغة والتصميم لضمان جودة وفعالية كتاب قواعد النحوية. الكلمات الرئيسة: التطوير، الكتاب القواعد النحوية، تعليم المشروط ميلس غانية Abstracts: This study aims to develop a book of Basic Rules of Nahwu Science that can improve students' maharah kitabah at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hasyim Asy'ari. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of this study indicate that the nahwu book developer based on Robert Milles Gagne's learning conditions consists of 5 stages, namely: Needs analysis, providing structured explanations, examples, exercises, to improve student understanding. Design, to provide comfort for readers. Development, the material is carried out by compiling the material in a structured manner, starting to attract students' attention to the reinforcement of the material, providing examples and exercises to deepen understanding of Nahwu rules. Implementation, used on 15 students. Evaluation, validation by material, language, and design experts to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the nahwu book developed. Keywords: Development, Book Qawaid Nahwu, Learning Conditions Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku Kaidah Dasar Ilmu Nahwu yang dapat meningkatkan maharah kitabah siswa di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hasyim Asy’ari. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap: Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwah Pengembangan buku nahwu berbasis kondisi pembelajaran Robert Milles Gagne terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu: Analisis kebutuhan, menyediakan penjelasan terstruktur, contoh, latihan, untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Desain, untuk memberikan kenyamanan bagi pembaca. Pengembangan, materi dilakukan dengan menyusun materi secara terstruktur, diawali menarik perhatian siswa sampai penguatan materi, menyediakan contoh dan latihan untuk memperdalam pemahaman kaidah Nahwu. Implementasi, digunakan pada 15 siswa. Evaluasi, validasi oleh ahli materi, Bahasa, dan desain guna memastikan kualitas dan efektivitas buku nahwu yang dikembangkan.
