Abstract

The Lubuk Alung Irrigation Area is a grouping of the large Batang Anai Irrigation Area, generally most of the population are farmers, so the need for water for agricultural land is very necessary, if there is a lack of water supply for irrigation it can hamper the pace of the planting season. The aim of this research is to calculate the need for irrigation water in rice fields and plantations in the Lubuk Alung irrigation area and determine the exiting dimension. Calculation of irrigation water requirements using the KP-01 method and Cropwat 8.0 software, to find the exiting dimensions using HEC-RAS 5.0.1 software. From the results of calculating irrigation water requirements using the KP-01 method, the value was 1.42 l/sec/ha in April and the results of calculating irrigation water requirements using the Cropwat 8.0 program obtained a value of 0.36 l/sec/ha in March. . In the cross section calculation using HEC-RAS 5.0.1 software, the discharge used is in the primary channel BLS.1-BLS.2, namely 21,566 m3//s with data on the dimensions of the upstream channel (P0) with channel width (b) = 11 m , channel height H = 2.87 m and downstream channel height (P16) (H) = 3.14 m, from the results of running with HEC-RAS 5.0.1 software it is found that the water level upstream is (P0) (h) = 1.2 m and the water level downstream (P16) (h) = 1.13 m, while from field survey data it was found that the water level upstream (P0) (h) = 1.23 m and downstream (P16) (h) = 1.15 m. From the results seen in the cross section image, it can be concluded that the channel dimensions are not the same height. In overcoming this problem, an attempt was made to recreate an efficient channel cross-section design. The results obtained from exiting channel dimensions with channel bottom width (b) = 8 m, channel top width (B) = 17.76 m, water level height (h) = 1.56 m, channel height (H) = 2.44 m , and guard height (w) = 0.88 m.

Abstract

With 72.56 km of coastline, Air Bangis is one of the largest fish producers in West Pasaman. West Sumatra has a vast marine area with hundreds of islands running north to south. At PPI Air Bangis, drift gillnets are used in the Pangkalan and Pini areas. Pangkalan Island is about 7 miles away, and Pini Island is 60 miles away. The fishing grounds greatly influence the amount of catch, what variables affect the catch in different fishing grounds, and what types of catch are caught in different fishing grounds. The method used was direct interviews in the fishing waters to classify the types of species and count the number of species caught by the drift gillnet gear. Fishermen were also interviewed to determine the standard main and bycatch. These results were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and tabulated in tables and graphs. Overall, the number of species caught by drift gillnet gear. Site distance, vessel capacity, and water conditions greatly influenced the effectiveness of the fishing grounds. In 6 GT vessels, the highest main catch was 58%, and the highest bycatch was 42%. On 3 GT vessels, the highest main catch was 57%, and bycatch was 43%. To maximize fish catch, proper and planned selection of fishing sites is essential while considering external factors such as selectivity of fishing gear used and weather conditions. Thus, tools such as echosounder can greatly help fishermen locate where fish congregate

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teaching in Early Childhood Education (PAUD) and analyze the relevance of the Merdeka Curriculum in its application. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this study examines the related literature to understand the evaluation approaches applied to PAI in PAUD, as well as the challenges and opportunities arising from the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. The findings reveal that the evaluation of PAI in PAUD is diverse, with formative and summative assessment approaches commonly used. However, there are gaps, particularly in teachers' understanding of the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum and the integration of appropriate learning materials. The Merdeka Curriculum offers flexibility and relevance, but its implementation is hindered by the lack of teacher training and the availability of adequate teaching materials. Based on these findings, the study recommends the development of clearer evaluation guidelines, enhanced teacher training, and increased collaboration between educators, PAUD institutions, and policymakers. With these steps, it is expected that PAI teaching will be more effective in shaping children's character with noble morals. Keywords: PAI Learning Evaluation; Merdeka Curriculum; PAUD; Islamic Religious Education; Systematic Literature Review (SLR).

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the paradigm shift in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) related to the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum and the Merdeka Curriculum. This shift is analyzed using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to identify similarities, differences, and their impacts on learning and character development of students. The SLR research protocol used refers to the PRISMA guidelines, with data collected from credible academic sources such as Google Scholar, Scopus, and SINTA. The findings show that the Merdeka Curriculum offers greater flexibility for teachers in selecting teaching methods and materials, and places more emphasis on strengthening the values of religious moderation. In contrast, the 2013 Curriculum is more structured, focusing on competency-based learning and a scientific approach. The implications of this paradigm shift include changes in the teacher's role to that of a facilitator, the integration of technology in learning, and the adjustment of competency-based evaluation methods. This study also identifies opportunities such as strengthening religious moderation values and the development of a digital-based curriculum, as well as implementation challenges including teacher preparedness and differing perceptions in the application of the curriculum. Based on these findings, the article provides recommendations for teacher training, the provision of supporting facilities, and government policies to offer flexibility in the implementation of PAI across educational units

Abstract

Slope stability analysis has a very important role in planning civil constructions. Unstable slopes are very dangerous for the surrounding environment, therefore slope stability analysis is very necessary. The measure of slope stability is known by calculating the size of the safety factor. Where the results of slope stability analysis calculations are influenced by many factors, the large number of factors makes the calculations not easy. These factors include, for example, the condition of the soil in layers, anisotropic shear strength of the soil, flow of water seepage in the soil and so on. The aim of the research is to analyze slope safety factors. The conclusion was drawn that based on the results of the safety factor calculation on the slope conditions of Padang Manggatas, Luak District, Limapuluh Kota Regency using the manual Bishop method, a value of 2.602 was obtained with a slope angle of 60˚, at a loss slope of 30˚ and 45˚ the safety factor values were obtained, namely 4.10˚ and 3.13˚. This value proves that the slope angle affects the safety factor value, where the smaller the slope angle, the greater the safety factor value obtained. Likewise, the greater the slope angle, the smaller the safety factor value obtained. Calculation of the safety factor value analysis on the slope conditions of Padang Manggatas at an angle of 60˚ using Bishop software, the value was not much different from the results of manual calculations using the Bishop method, namely 2.602, likewise at slope angles of 30˚ and 45˚ the safety factor values were 3.72 and 3.151. Based on the results of the safety factor calculation using the Bishop method manually and using Slope software at a slope angle of 60˚, the safety factor value was >1.5, it can be concluded that the slope condition is stable.Key words: slope stability analysis, safety factors, bishop method, slope software
