Abstract

Gill net catches are one of fishermen's dominant fishing gear at UPT Dumai City Fishing Port. Gill net catches are easy to operate, have a low price, and are durable. This research was conducted in July-August at UPT Port of Fisheries, Riau Province. This study aimed to determine differences in gill net catches based on different mesh sizes. The method used is the survey method. The catch of gill nets by type with a mesh size of 2 inches is 25 fish species. Based on the weight and number of individual fish, it was dominated by lomek (Harpodon sp), namely 1,359.5 kg or 21.5% and 16,314 individuals or 27.18%. The catch in the 3-inch mesh size was 23 species of fish. The percentage of catches based on weight dominated by senangin (Eleutheronema tetradactylum) was 30.38% (1,353.5 kg), and based on the number of individuals dominated by pomfret of 18.72% (4,534 individuals). The main catches in gill nets at UPT Dumai are lomek (Harpodon sp), senangin (Polynemus sp), pomfret (Bramidae sp) and machete (Chirocentrus sp). The primary and bycatch yields for the 2-inch mesh were 51.58% and 42.42%, while the 3-inch mesh sizes were 57.99% and 42.01%.

Abstract

The use of social media Vlogs and WOM has not been thoroughly researched to stimu-late the intention to visit tourist destinations, especially man-made destinations. Howev-er, social media is currently an effective promotion and branding tool. The purpose of this study is to test whether e-WOM and social media vlogs have an impact on interest in visiting tourist destinations, whether social media vlogs have an impact on e-WOM, and whether e-WOM can be a moderating variable. The object of research is tourists who have visited man-made destinations in Indonesia, with a total of 414 respondents. Data collection is done through an online survey using Google Forms. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used to analyze all hypotheses using SmartPLS 4.0 statistical software. The findings showed that social media vlogs and eWOM effectively drive in-tention to visit artificial tourism destinations, with eWOM positively moderating the relationship between social media vlogs and intention to visit. These results make a sig-nificant contribution to tourism theory and practice in formulating the most appropriate marketing promotion strategy for man-made tourism destinations today.

Abstract

Masalah dari penelitian ini adalah kesulitan siswa memahami materi pembelajaran secara kronologis dalam menjelaskan suatu peristiwa sejarah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tahapan pengembangan dari media video pembelajaran untuk melatih kemapuan berfikir kronologios peserta didik serta untuk mengetahui keefektifan dari media video pembelajaran yang dapat melatih kemapuan berfikir kronologis pesrta didik. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah R&D (Research And Development). Model yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini adalah model ADDIE atau analisi, desain, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Namun, penelitian ini baru sampai pada tahap implementasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI F 1 SMAN 1 Batang Anai. Keberhasilan dan kegunaan produk ini dikonfirmasi melalui kuesioner dari materi pembelajaran sejarah dan ahli media pembelajaran sejarah, guru mata pelajaran sejarah, dan siswa. Kesesuaian bahan diberikan peringkat 3,5 dalam kategori "sangat layak" oleh para ahli materi sejarah. Skor kelayakan untuk media belajar sejarah adalah 3,58 dan oleh karena itu berada dalam kategori kelayakan yang sangat layak. Uji praktikalitas dan efektivitas kepada guru adalah 3,87 dalam kategori "sangat efektif". Uji praktikalitas untuk siswa" mendapat skor 3,61 dalam kategori "Sangat praktis". Oleh karena itu, media video untuk pembelajaran sejarah materi “kedatangan orang Barat ke Indonesia” sangat praktis dan efektif untuk mengajar sejarah di sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the parenting style, social relationships of students in SMP Negeri 13 Padang.This study uses a descriptive approach and simple linear correlation analysis. The sample of this study was 273 students. Sampling using simple random sampling technique. The instruments used were the "parenting scale" with a reliability value of 0.721, and the "social relationship scale" with a reliability value of 0.726. The results showed that: (1) the parental pattern was included in the good category with a percentage of 85%. (2) Student social relations are included in the very good category with a percentage of 56.16%. (3) the correlation of parenting style with students' social relationships with a correlation coefficient of 0.452. The results of this research can be used as material for BK teachers in providing guidance and counseling services in schools by establishing good communication and cooperation between the school, parents and students to strive to improve student social relations.

Abstract

This study aimed to compare the growth pattern of depik (Rasbora tawarensis Weber & de Beaufort, 1916) using a Linear Allometric Model (LAM) in different seasons in Lake Laut Tawar (LLT), Aceh Tengah. The results showed that seasonal differences affected the length-frequency size distribution, length-weight relationship, and condition factors but did not affect the growth pattern of depik in LLT. Abstract

Program sosialisasi anti-bullying yang dilakukan oleh kelompok Kuliah Kerja Nyata Desau Ulai di SMP Negeri 6 Kuantan Mudik merupakan inisiatif penting untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan mencegah tindakan bullying di lingkungan sekolah. Sosialisasi ini bertujuan untuk mengedukasi siswa mengenai definisi bullying, berbagai bentuknya, dan dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan baik bagi korban maupun pelaku. Melalui pemaparan materi yang interaktif, sesi tanya jawab, dan distribusi leaflet, siswa diberikan informasi yang jelas dan praktis tentang cara mengenali, mencegah, dan menangani bullying. Hasil program ini memiliki dampak positif yakni memberikan edukasi yang lebih mendalam dan praktis kepada siswa tentang pentingnya menghentikan bullying. Disarankan untuk terus mengadakan sosialisasi secara berkala, memperkuat kebijakan anti-bullying, dan mempromosikan budaya sekolah yang menghargai perbedaan untuk mengurangi kasus bullying di masa depan.

Abstract

The services of the Bungus Ocean Fishery Port as the only tuna Fishery port in West Sumatra in supporting the availability of facilities required by each tuna industry stakeholder. The purpose of this study is to determine the services from the Bungus Oceaning Fishery Port that are currently being experienced by fisheries stakeholders, especially tuna and to determine the level of satisfaction of tuna entrepreneurs with the performance of the Bungus Ocean Fishery Port. The data analysis used is weighting or scoring, and then IPA and CSI analysis is carried out. The results showed that the Bungus Ocean Fishery Port played a good role in providing production activities, infrastructure and public services, and tuna stakeholders felt quite satisfied with the performance of the Bungus Ocean Fishery Port in supporting the tuna industry

Abstract

The bottom gill net is one of the fishing gears made from a rectangular net installed at the bottom of the water. The basic gill net construction used is a net thread made of monofilament polyamide material, the size of the fishing gear used is a net length of 2.50 meters, a net body width of 1.5 meters, and a mesh size of 3 inches. Knowing the state of the environment is a very important reason to increase the catch by using environmental parameters such as physical parameters that are easier to observe. The main fishing items are Coral Pond (Lethrinus lentjan), Timunan (Lutjanidae vitta), Yellowtail (Lutjanus fulviflamma), Red Snapper (L.bitaeniatus), and Kuwe (Caranx ignobilis). Bycatch is Black Pomfret (Parastromateus niger), Seminyak (Plectorhinchus), Gerut (Pamadasys maculatus), Stingray (Dasyatis sp), Lepu Batu (Pterois volitans), and Crab (Portunidae). This study aims to determine the composition of the catch. This research was carried out in Sedanau waters in Natuna Regency, Riau Islands Province for 7 days in February 2022 using the survey method. One unit of basic gill mesh is operated to collect data and is analyzed by analysis of the composition of types and weights. The results showed that 11 types of fish were caught and dominated by Yellowtail (L.fulviflamma) as many as 77 with a percentage value of 26.46%.

Abstract

Technological developments provide rapid changes, especially in the realm of business. One of them is Shoppe which is a marketplace for online buying and selling transactions. Sellers can carry out various innovations and creativity with their products in the Shoppe, so that buyers can be interested and buy these products. Word-of-mouth that is electronic (E-WOM) is a characteristic that can change consumer decisions in consumer decisions. Shopee users among students at Lancang Kuning University of Business Economics are the subject of this study. Students at Lancang Kuning University studying business and economics made up the study's population. One hundred persons made up the sample. Purposive sampling was used in this investigation. Data that is both qualitative and quantitative, along with data collecting methods like surveys and interviews, are used. Using the SPSS software, basic linear regression is the analysis technique employed. Digital word-of-mouth possesses a beneficial impact judgments about purchases and a large favorable effect on consumer satisfaction, according to the outcomes of a straightforward test of linear regression. Electronic word-of-mouth is influenced by both consumer happiness and purchase decisions made simultaneously.

Abstract

Sitinjau Laut is an area of ​​Bukit Barisan rock which is dominated by the weathering of volcanic rocks in the form of clay, sandy clay with pebble-sized rocks to large chunks of clay and sandy clay which are very plastic, if exposed to water on the cliffs it will easily trigger ground movement (Ade Edwar, 2022). In 2019, natural disasters frequently occurred on the Sitinjau Laut km 23 road section. Landslides occurred due to high rainfall and steep cliff structures and made the road impassable (DIBI, 2019). The Sitinjau Laut road is an important means of transportation in the city of Padang. The impact of the landslide that occurred on the Sitinjau Laut road section resulted in disruption of traffic flow on the road. The aim of this research is to determine the value of the safety factor (Factor of Safety) of the slope of the research location using the Geo - Slope/W 2012 program. W 2012 is 0.581. From the results obtained it can be said that the slopes of the research area are unsafe because the Factor of Safety (FoS) value is less than 1. Simulations using several angle variations of 30 ̊, 45 ̊, 60 ̊ and 90 ̊ obtained the minimum and maximum Factor of Safety (FoS) values.) is less than 1. Thus, slope stability using several angle variations is unsafe.
