Abstract

STEAM merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran integratif yang sesuai dengan karakteristik PAUD yang holistik dan interdisipliner. Tantangan utama di Indonesia adalah rendahnya literasi sains dan teknologi serta keterbatasan pemahaman guru dalam menerapkan STEAM. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji validitas dan reliabilitas awal instrumen sikap dan keyakinan guru PAUD terhadap STEAM. Metode kuantitatif dengan rancangan pengembangan instrumen digunakan, melibatkan 30 guru PAUD melalui purposive sampling. Instrumen berupa angket skala Likert lima tingkat yang dikembangkan dari dimensi sikap (afektif, perilaku) dan keyakinan (kognitif). Validasi dilakukan melalui expert judgment, uji validitas butir menggunakan korelasi item-total, dan reliabilitas dihitung dengan Cronbach’s Alpha. Hasil menunjukkan sebagian besar item valid (r > 0,30) dan reliabilitas memadai (? ? 0,70). Instrumen ini dapat digunakan untuk memetakan kesiapan guru dalam pembelajaran STEAM sebagai dasar perumusan kebijakan pengembangan kompetensi STEAM dan sebagai alat diagnostic dalam merancang program pelatihan berbasis kebutuhan guru.

Abstract

Qirā’ah (reading) instruction at Madrasah Aliyah continues to face challenges, including the limited use of artificial or non-authentic learning materials and the low level of students’ exposure to linguistic contexts used by native speakers. Meanwhile, technological advancements offer opportunities to create more contextual learning through the integration of authentic texts and digital media. This study aims to describe the forms of authentic text utilization, patterns of digital media use, supporting and inhibiting factors in implementation, and their impact on students’ Qirā’ah abilities. The method used is a descriptive qualitative study based on library research, examining various literature on Arabic reading instruction, authentic texts, and digital media innovations. The findings indicate that authentic texts such as news articles, magazines, dialogues, and social media content provide natural language exposure and enhance discourse comprehension as well as vocabulary mastery. Digital media contribute by expanding access to learning resources, increasing interactivity, and optimizing reading strategies through multimedia features and online dictionaries. Supporting factors for implementation include teacher preparedness, availability of reading materials, student motivation, and adequate infrastructure. Conversely, challenges arise from text difficulty, dependence on digital translation, limited devices, and disparities in digital competence between teachers and students. Overall, the integration of authentic texts and digital media strengthens students’ motivation, reading strategies, and learning autonomy, thereby making a significant contribution to improving the quality of Qirā’ah instruction at Madrasah Aliyah.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to seek the challenges experienced by English teachers in applying deep learning, focusing on their classroom experiences and perceptions using the activity theory as a  framework that focuses on its concepts of contradiction, boundary objects, and boundary crossing. This study used a semi-structure interview to understand the three participants' experiences as teachers in implementing Deep Learning in the classroom practices. Key challenges to their implementation came in the form: limited understanding, workload and time constraints, implementation barrier, limited administrative preparation, curriculum adaptation gap, and government requirement. However, the participants were able to overcome the challenges that arose by treating it as a connecting tool to connect their teaching methods. These findings raise important theoretical and practical issues related to strategies for overcoming challenges encountered in implementing deep learning, as implemented by the participants by institutional support and teachers training, implementation experience, facility support, and fellow teachers support. One of the connections is understanding how teachers manage the challenges they encounter by connecting their various activity systems as objects to overcome the obstacles that occur in the deep learning implementation system they use in the classroom.

Abstract

Arabic language learning in Madrasah Aliyah (MA) faces significant challenges in bridging the gap between theoretical mastery and practical communicative skills. Conventional teaching methods often fail to accommodate the needs of students in the digital era, who require learning experiences that are more responsive and actively engaging. This study aims to explore and analyze the role and effectiveness of using digital interactive media in improving the four Arabic language skills (Istima’, Kalām, Qirā’ah, and Kitābah) among MA students. This research employs a qualitative–descriptive systematic literature study design, synthesizing findings from indexed scientific journals and curricular policy documents, particularly the Decree of the Minister of Religious Affairs (KMA) Number 183 of 2019. The synthesis results indicate that digital interactive media, especially gamification platforms (such as Kahoot! and Quizizz) and interactive multimedia are effective in significantly increasing students’ motivation and participation. Empirically, the implementation of interactive multimedia has been shown to enhance speaking skills (Mahārah Kalām), with reported improvements of up to 8.37% in average scores in related case studies. Further analysis confirms that the integration of digital media supports the achievement of the three mandated competency domains (Attitude, Knowledge, Skills) outlined in KMA 183. Nevertheless, the main challenges identified include infrastructure limitations and the need to improve teachers’ digital competence. The implications of these findings lead to strategic recommendations for MA institutions to strengthen infrastructure and adopt adaptive, AI-based technologies to support the transformation of Arabic language education.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an in-depth description of the Arabic language learning process at the Islamic Senior High School (MA) level by examining teachers’ instructional strategies, the use of learning materials, communicative approaches, and challenges that arise within a multilingual classroom context. The study also seeks to identify the effectiveness of the methods employed by teachers in developing students’ listening (istimā’), reading (qirā’ah), and speaking (kalām) skills, as well as to understand the supporting and inhibiting factors in the learning process, thereby serving as a foundation for developing more relevant pedagogical strategies. The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with Arabic language teachers, and document analyses of learning materials, lesson plans (RPP), and assessments used in MA. The analysis process included data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. This method was chosen to obtain a comprehensive depiction of learning practices that naturally occur within the school context. The findings indicate that teachers employ a combination of interactive lectures, drills, question-and-answer sessions, and communicative approaches to enhance students’ language skills. The primary learning materials are sourced from the Ministry of Religious Affairs’ textbooks, yet teachers supplement them with audio media, vocabulary flashcards, and videos to strengthen comprehension. The main challenges include students’ varying levels of motivation, uneven foundational abilities, and limited instructional time. Nevertheless, adaptive strategies implemented by teachers, such as vocabulary reinforcement, gradual oral practice, and the use of contextualized examples, have proven effective in significantly improving students’ participation and understanding.

Abstract

This study aims to provide a comprehensive description of the utilization of various forms of digital media in Arabic language learning at Madrasah Aliyah, particularly in supporting the mastery of language skills and improving the quality of the learning process. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, as it enables the researcher to observe phenomena in depth within their natural learning context. Data were collected through direct observation of learning activities, in-depth interviews with Arabic language teachers, students, and the madrasah principal, as well as documentation analysis of learning tools, digital materials, and institutional policies. These data were supplemented with relevant literature to strengthen the conceptual understanding. The data analysis process followed the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, and was validated through source and method triangulation. The findings indicate that various digital media, such as interactive PowerPoint presentations, audiovisual materials (instructional videos and animations), mobile applications for vocabulary and language exercises, Learning Management Systems (LMS), online quiz platforms, and the use of social media as a space for language practice, can enhance students’ motivation, interaction, and learning autonomy. These media not only enrich the learning experience but also provide opportunities for students to practice Arabic more flexibly and in alignment with their individual learning styles.

Abstract

Tesis ini menganalisis kompleksitas pengesahan Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana (KUHP) Baru di Indonesia dari perspektif kedaulatan hukum nasional dan prinsip-prinsip demokrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab dua pertanyaan utama: (1) Bagaimana politik hukum memfasilitasi klaim kedaulatan hukum nasional dalam pengesahan KUHP baru di tengah munculnya pasal-pasal kontroversial? dan(2)    Sejauh mana proses legislasi KUHP baru telah mengimplementasikan prinsip- prinsip demokrasi (terutama partisipasi publik dan transparansi) di Indonesia? Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis politik hukum, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa politik hukum secara signifikan memfasilitasi klaim kedaulatan hukum nasional. Dominasi eksekutif dan legislatif tampak jelas, dengan narasi dekolonisasi hukum dan penolakan "intervensi asing" digunakan untuk melegitimasi pasal-pasal kontroversial, bahkan yang berpotensi melanggar hak asasi manusia universal. Politik kompromi cenderung memihak pada klaim kedaulatan demi percepatan pengesahan, seringkali mengesampingkan demokrasi substantif. Selain itu, implementasi prinsip-prinsip demokrasi, khususnya partisipasi publik dan transparansi, masih belum optimal dan cenderung prosedural. Partisipasi publik seringkali bersifat formalitas, bukan substansial, dengan masukan kritis yang kurang diakomodasi dan umpan balik yang tidak jelas. Transparansi juga masih memiliki banyak celah; dokumen krusial seperti naskah akademik mutakhir dan risalah rapat sulit diakses publik. Kondisi ini menghambat partisipasi bermakna dan pengawasan masyarakat, yang pada gilirannya dapat mengurangi legitimasi KUHP Baru di mata publik. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada teori politik hukum dengan menyoroti instrumentalitas klaim kedaulatan nasional dalam proses legislasi, serta memperkaya pemahaman tentang tantangan implementasi demokrasi konstitusional di negara berkembang.

Abstract

penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara komprehensif perlindungan hukum terhadap pekerja yang terkena PHK massal dari perspektif UU Nomor 13 Tahun 2003 tentang Ketenagakerjaan. Analisis akan mencakup aspek prosedural PHK, pemenuhan hak kompensasi, tantangan yang dihadapi pekerja dalam memperjuangkan haknya, serta implikasi kasus ini terhadap sistem hukum ketenagakerjaan di Indonesia secara menyeluruh. Melalui pendekatan yuridis normatif dan yuridis empiris, diharapkan penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi nyata bagi penguatan sistem perlindungan hukum ketenagakerjaan di Indonesia, termasuk rekomendasi reformasi regulasi serta penguatan kelembagaan penyelesaian sengketa hubungan industrial. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini tidak hanya menyajikan analisis hukum, tetapi juga mendorong kehadiran negara dalam menjamin perlindungan hak-hak pekerja sebagai bagian dari tanggung jawab konstitusional untuk menciptakan keadilan sosial bagi seluruh rakyat Indonesia.
