Abstract

The independent curriculum is the main problem of educational units which originates from the philosophy of education in responding to developments over time. This research aims to review the literature on the philosophical foundations of education that support the implementation of independent campuses to create superior human resources 5.0. In the midst of globalization and industrial revolution 4.0, education must adapt to the demands of relevant skills and competencies. The method used is Systematic Literature Review from journal sources 2018-2023 with help of the application publish or perish, then identify the appropriateness test data obtained from 15 journals that match literature objectives. This research explores philosophies such as constructivism, pragmatism, and humanism that emphasize active and collaborative learning. Independent campus research results open opportunities for developing interpersonal skills in human resources. The research conclusion explains the importance of education based on a strong and innovative philosophy that will increase the competitiveness of the quality of Indonesian human resources at the global level. It is hoped that these findings can serve as a guide for developing education policies that are more responsive to the needs of society and industry, and support the achievement of the vision of superior human resources 5.0.

Abstract

The 5.0 era is marked by the integration of advanced technology in everyday life, including in the field of education. The concept of the Independent Curriculum gives educational institutions the freedom to develop a curriculum according to student needs and local contexts. This article discusses the role of educational leadership in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in the 5.0 era, as well as the challenges and strategies that can be applied to achieve effective educational goals in the context of the Independent Curriculum in the 5.0 era, which is marked by the integration of advanced technology and a more flexible learning approach. This study aims to identify the challenges and opportunities faced by educational leaders in implementing the Independent Curriculum and the strategies that can be used to improve teaching effectiveness. The methods used are literature studies and interviews with principals and teachers in several educational institutions. The results of the study indicate that visionary and collaborative leadership are essential in creating an innovative learning environment. In addition, ongoing training for teachers and the development of a collaborative culture among educators are the keys to successful curriculum implementation. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that educational leadership that is adaptive and responsive to technological changes and student needs can improve the quality of education in the 5.0 era.

Abstract

Kurikulum merdeka mulai diterapkan pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023, mulai dari jenjang TK hingga SMA/Sederajat. Meskipun kurikulum ini sudah berjalan sekitar tiga tahun, namun masih terdapat kendala, seperti guru yang belum memahami esensi merdeka belajar, sekolah baru menerapkan kurikulum merdeka, dan kendala guru dalam merancang model dan media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran dalam kurikulum merdeka, yaitu pemahaman berdasarkan desain , berdiferensiasi, dan pembelajaran mendalam . Penelitian ini menggunakan metode tinjauan literatur sistematik , yang dilakukan dengan menentukan pertanyaan penelitian, yaitu bagaimana implementasi pendekatan pembelajaran dalam kurikulum merdeka ( understanding by design , berdiferensiasi, dan deep learning ). Sebanyak 30 artikel dan buku telah diseleksi sesuai dengan kriteria penelitian, seperti tahun publikasi dan kesesuaian dengan fokus penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendekatan pembelajaran kurikulum merdeka yang terdiri dari Understanding by Design , Berdiferensiasi, dan Deep Learning belum secara merata diterapkan di satuan pendidikan, khususnya pendekatan Understanding by Design dan Deep Learning . Implementasi pendekatan pembelajaran yang cukup ditekankan dalam kurikulum merdeka adalah pendekatan berdiferensiasi yang menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan ini mampu memperbaiki proses pembelajaran dan meningkatkan hasil belajar. Meskipun demikian, kendala yang terjadi adalah guru yang hanya memahami secara konsep, tanpa memahami komponen-komponennya.

Abstract

This literature review research aims to analyze the role of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) in enhancing students' entrepreneurial character. Entrepreneurial character, which includes an innovative, creative, independent, calculated risk-taking, action-oriented, and value-creating mindset and behavior, is increasingly relevant in facing the challenges of the 21st century. P5, as part of the Merdeka Curriculum, is designed to develop various dimensions of student character through project-based learning and active engagement with the surrounding environment. This literature study examines the concept of entrepreneurial character in the educational context and the potential of P5 in fostering student character. Despite its promise, the implementation of P5 faces challenges such as a lack of teacher understanding and skills, resistance to change, and difficulties in character assessment. To optimize the role of P5 in strengthening entrepreneurial character, policy support, teacher professional development, and collaboration with the local community are necessary. This research concludes that P5 has significant potential in instilling entrepreneurial values through contextual and collaborative learning experiences, but its implementation requires well-planned strategies to overcome existing challenges.

Abstract

This study examines the contribution of school managers to the effectiveness of school organizations, a case study at SMK Negeri 1 Batealit-Jepara. The principal, as a manager, plays a crucial role in managing human and material resources, and guiding all school members to achieve educational goals. This study focuses on three types of managerial skills: conceptual, human relations, and technical. Conceptual skills involve understanding the vision and mission and strategic decision making. Human relations skills emphasize the ability to collaborate, motivate, and communicate effectively. Technical skills include mastery of methods and techniques for managing school operations. Effective schools are defined as schools that achieve both academic and socio-emotional learning outcomes, with the support of visionary leadership, quality teachers, a positive learning environment, and parental and community involvement. This study uses a qualitative approach to describe how the principal managerial skills are implemented at SMK Negeri 1 Batealit-Jepara a literature review in realizing school effectiveness. The results of the study are expected to provide in-depth insight into the importance of principal managerial skills in the context of effective schools and contribute to the development of educational leadership practices.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh orientasi belajar terhadap keberlanjutan bisnis melalui inovasi bisnis. Masih terbatasnya penelitian yang membahas proses belajar dalam menentukan keberlanjutan bisnis bagi pemilik bisnis, terutama dalam konteks start-up. Penelitian terdahulu banyak membahas perkembangan bisnis, namun belum banyak membahas proses belajar yang dilakukan oleh pemilik startup adalah sarana dalam melakukan inovasi dan perbaikan berkesinambungan. Penelitian ini mempergunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis kausal. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 114 responden terlibat dalam penelitian dengan kriteria yaitu pemilik usaha yang pernah mengikuti pembelajaran digital dan usaha yang telah berjalan minimal 1 tahun. Data yang telah didapatkan dianalisis dengan SEM PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orientasi belajar tidak berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap keberlanjutan bisnis, namun dimediasi oleh inovasi bisnis. Penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa orientasi belajar tidak langsung membentuk bisnis yang berkelanjutan, namun membutuhkan inovasi yang dapat dikembangkan dalam start-up. Penelitian ini mengindikasikan pentingnya orientasi belajar dalam mengembangkan inovasi yang berimplikasi pada bisnis yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini membuktikan pentingnya inovasi yang dibentuk melalui proses belajar bagi pemilik start-up. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah pentingnya start-up dalam melakukan inovasi yang berorientasi pasar untuk mempertahankan pangsa pasar.

Abstract

This research examines about the role of the Head of Planning in improving the quality of service excellence in Sogo Village, Kedungtuban Sub-district, Blora District. Using a qualitative approach and narrative design, data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings show that the Kaur Perencanaan has the main responsibility in preparing development plans and managing village data, but is often faced with additional tasks that interfere with the focus on his main duties. Strategies implemented to improve services include developing information technology competencies, increasing human resource capacity, collaborating with other village officials, and increasing transparency and accountability. However, constraints such as limited resources and resistance to change remain a challenge. This study recommends additional staff, technology training, and the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve service effectiveness. The results of this study are expected to provide insights for the development of public service policies at the village level.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of principal leadership and school culture on the environmental awareness character through the Adiwiyata program as a moderating variable. This research is important in term of determining the impact of the Adiwiyata program to the environment awareness since there are some other factors included especially at school students level. This research is a quantitative research conducted with a sample of 284 students at SMA N 2 Blora. Data were collected by questionnaire and documentation. The data were analyzed by multiple regression, T test and coefficient of determination. The results showed: (1) Principal leadership does not directly affect environmental awareness, (2) School culture does have a significant impact on environmental awareness, (3) Adiwiyata program does not moderate the effect of principal leadership on environmental awareness, and (4) Adiwiyata program does not moderate the effect of school culture on environmental awareness. The result of this research is in line with psychoanalysis theory by Sigmund Freud since the culture impact students’ character. The result of this research can be used as the one of the reference in implementing Adiwiyata program, also can be used as a reference in improving environmental awareness character. The impact of these independent variables can be improved in various ways, including: (1) increasing the interaction of the principal with students through environmental conservation activities, (2) integrating Adiwiyata program into the school culture that has been running, and (3) environment-based program to increase students' interest in environmental conservation

Abstract

This article describes a descriptive qualitative research on the transformational leadership of female school principals in improving the quality of education at PAUD Kusuma Indonesia. This research was conducted through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The main problem faced is the challenge in implementing effective transformational leadership practices. The aim of this research is to understand how transformational leadership can be applied by female school principals to improve the quality of education in PAUD. The main results show that female school principals are able to carry out effective transformational leadership practices, which are reflected in increasing staff motivation and performance, as well as improving the quality of learning and the learning environment in PAUD. The conclusion of this research is that transformational leadership by female school principals has a significant role in improving the quality of education in PAUD, and greater support from related parties is needed to strengthen this practice.
