Abstract

A review of the literature on the assessment of teachers' social-emotional competence (SEC) was conducted to ascertain its role in enhancing education quality and student outcomes. A total of 2,905 records were screened according to the PRISMA guidelines, and 15 studies that utilized instruments such as SECTRS, EduSEL-R, TSELCS-22, ESELC, and SASEIC Questionnaire within the Prosocial Classroom Model framework were included in the review. The results indicate that these tools effectively assess SEC dimensions, particularly in fostering positive teacher-student relationships, classroom management, and SEL program implementation. However, significant challenges remain, including cultural bias, reliance on self-reports, and limited validation across diverse contexts. Practical implications suggest that these assessments can guide professional development, enhance teacher well-being, and improve classroom environments, ultimately supporting students' academic and emotional growth. Future research should focus on developing culturally responsive, validated instruments that reduce administrative burden while capturing the multifaceted nature of SEC in real-world educational settings.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize the use of Microsoft Excel as a data processing tool in making letters in learning Indonesian correspondence. Learning Indonesian correspondence, which involves the skill of writing official and personal letters, often faces challenges in terms of time efficiency and difficulties in organizing information. Microsoft Excel, with its data processing and template creation features, is believed to help simplify and speed up the process of creating letters. This research was conducted using an experimental method with a total of 106 student respondents in the Office Administration Education study program, State University of Semarang, involving two groups: an experimental group with a total of 53 students using Microsoft Excel and a control group with a total of 53 students who used the manual method in making letters. The results showed that students who used Excel were more efficient in completing letter-making tasks, with an average shorter letter-making time compared to the control group. In addition, the quality of the letters produced by the experimental group is also better, with a more structured and rule-based format. The results of the questionnaire and observation showed that the majority of students felt helped by the use of Excel, although there were several obstacles faced related to understanding formulas and formatting settings. Overall, Microsoft Excel can be optimized in correspondence learning to improve students' efficiency, quality, and skills in letter creation.

Abstract

Praktik Kesekretarisan menunjukkan kurang integrasi penggunaan teknologi karena proses praktik yang dilaksanakan secara manual seperti pencatatan pada buku agenda surat keluar dan surat masuk. Proses pembelajaran seperti ini tidak lagi relevan dengan kondisi riil diperkantoran yang telah memanfaatkan ICT untuk pengelolaan dokumen dan persuratan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas model pembelajaran bermain peran berbasis digital unutk keterampilan digital abad 21 pada mata kuliah kesekretarisan. Urgensi penelitian ini berasal dari penilaian kebutuhan yang dilakukan dalam konteks pendidikan tinggi. Analisis data mengikuti kerangka kerja tiga tahap yang mapan yang diusulkan oleh Miles dan Huberman, yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Para peneliti melakukan wawancara mendalam dengan 2 instruktur dan 8 siswa, dan juga mendistribusikan kuesioner untuk mendapatkan wawasan lebih lanjut. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara diketahui bahwa praktik perkantoran pada mata kuliah kesekretarisan masih dilaksanakan secara manual tidak relevan dengan perkembangan zaman, perlu ada penerapan model pembelajaran bermain peran berbasis digital untuk mendukung keterampilan digital abad ke-21. Model ini dapat diadopsi kurikulum berbasis digital, untuk menghasilkan lulusan dengan kapasitas digital yang diperlukan untuk masa depan.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the need to improve the quality of learning, as indicated by the Indonesian Education Report Card in 2024. PMM (Platform Merdeka Mengajar) is a digital platform designed to support teachers in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesia. The study aims to examine the influence of PMM literacy and teacher learning leadership on teacher performance, with Professional Learning Community (PLC) effectiveness serving as a mediating variable. Data were collected from 321 teachers, selected from a population of 1,626 teachers at public junior high schools in Kendal Regency, Indonesia. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS), employing SmartPLS 4.1 as the analysis tool. The results suggest that PMM literacy and PLC effectiveness have direct effects on teacher performance, while teacher learning leadership does not have a direct effect. However, both PMM literacy and teacher learning leadership have significant indirect effects on teacher performance through PLC effectiveness. This study highlights the practical need to support PLC to promote PMM literacy and teacher learning leadership, in order to enhances teacher performance

Abstract

Berdasarkan observasi penelitian awal dapat diketahui bahwa masyarakat kurang puas dalam menerima pelayanan kantor Desa Rejosari Barat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas pelayanan, kinerja pegawai, dan sarana prasarana terhadap kepuasan masyarakat Desa Rejosari Barat. Populasi berdasarkan pelayanan sebanyak 296 kali atau 237 masyarakat pada tahun 2023, dengan sampel 149 responden dihitung menggunakan rumus Yamane yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket/kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan, kinerja pegawai, dan sarana prasarana memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan masyarakat, baik secara parsial maupun simultan, dengan pengaruh simultan sebesar 81,4%. Persamaan regresi berganda yang diperoleh adalah Y = 3,693 + 0,509X1 + 0,656X2 + 0,152X3 + e. Kesimpulannya, kepuasan masyarakat dapat ditingkatkan dengan memperbaiki kualitas pelayanan, kinerja pegawai, dan sarana prasarana. Peneliti menyarankan peningkatan pelayanan dengan menyediakan nomor antrean, pelatihan teknologi bagi pegawai, dan sosialisasi pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Disarankan juga peningkatan disiplin dan tanggung jawab pegawai, serta perbaikan fasilitas seperti ruang dan kursi tunggu.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain an effective strategy for increasing students' statistical application literacy competency through Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in the Statistics Applications course. Research methods used experimental design, learning statistical applications using practical computer program software applications in a computer laboratory with the PjBL model. The control class teaches statistical applications without using projects, but is tasked with individually carrying out data processing practices. The research results show increased literacy competency in IT-based statistical applications or computer software in learning. The pre-test and post-test results for the experimental class, Sig 0.000 < 0.05, indicate a significant difference. The N-Gain result is 61.79 in the medium category. The level of motivation to learn statistical applications in the control group was 65.2% in the medium category, while the motivation in the experimental group was 82.67% in the high category. In this way, the PjBL model can increase motivation for literacy competency in statistical applications in economics education students. Students' literacy competency in statistical applications can increase; in the experimental class, the post-test score was obtained = 85.158, and they were skilled and able to use the mastered software creatively. Carry out continuous development of statistical application literacy by being innovative, creative, experienced, and competent to analyze data efficiently.

Abstract

Abstract: The quality of human resources can be improved through character education, one of the efforts that have been made in instilling character education is by integrating character values into the curriculum. The importance of character education is also emphasized by the Father of Indonesian Education Ki Hajar Dewantara, the application of the main values in one of Ki Hajar Dewantara's philosophies, namely ing ngarsa sung tuladha, ing madya mangun karsa, tut wuri handayani, and its relevance in shaping the character of students through learning policies and practices implemented in the 2013 curriculum and the independent curriculum, this study uses a systematic literature review. The results showed that the two curricula provide different strengthening of character education but cannot be separated from the philosophical values of Ki Hajar Dewantara. In the 2013 Curriculum, strengthening character education is implemented through thematic, scientific approaches, as well as self-development and extracurricular activities and the Merdeka Curriculum continues and strengthens this approach through the development of the Pancasila Student Profile.Abstrak: Kualitas sumber daya manusia dapat ditingkatkan melalui pendidikan karakter, salah satu upaya yang telah dilakukan dalam menanamkan pendidikan karakter adalah dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai karakter ke dalam kurikulum. Pentingnya pendidikan karakter juga ditegaskan oleh Bapak Pendidikan Indonesia Ki Hajar Dewantara, penerapan nilai-nilai utama dalam salah satu falsafah Ki Hajar Dewantara, yakni ing ngarsa sung tuladha, ing madya mangun karsa, tut wuri handayani, serta relevansinya dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik melalui kebijakan dan praktik pembelajaran yang diterapkan dalam kurikulum 2013 dan kurikulum merdeka, penelitian ini menggunakan systematic literature review. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, kedua kurikulum tersebut memberikan penguatan pendidikan karakter yang berbeda namun tidak lepas dari nilai-nilai falsafah dari Ki Hajar Dewantara. Dalam Kurikulum 2013, penguatan pendidikan karakter diimplementasikan melalui pendekatan tematik, saintifik, serta kegiatan pengembangan diri dan ekstrakurikuler dan Kurikulum Merdeka melanjutkan dan memperkuat pendekatan ini melalui pengembangan Profil Pelajar Pancasila.

Abstract

Abstrak Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka mempunyai peluang dan tantangan dalam pembelajaran di SMK dengan mengutamakan kebutuhan peserta didik salah satunya melalui pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Capaian pembelajaran fase F menuntut siswa memiliki kompetensi dalam pengelolaan arsip digital. Namun, kenyataannya, kompetensi digital lulusan SMK masih rendah. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi oleh guru-guru Manajemen Perkantoran dan Layanan Bisnis (MPLB) SMK se-Jawa Tengah adalah kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam membuat media pembelajaran arsip berbasis digital dan arsip berdiferensiasi. Guru masih belum optimal dalam serta merancang pembelajaran berdiferensiasi yang dimulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga evaluasi. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan terdiri dari tiga tahapan utama. Tahap pertama adalah tahap persiapan, yang meliputi penyusunan materi, penyiapan sarana dan prasarana, serta pemilihan peserta pelatihan, yaitu sebanyak 42 guru MPLB dari SMK di berbagai wilayah Jawa Tengah. Tahap kedua adalah pelaksanaan, yang dilakukan dalam dua bagian yaitu pemberian materi dan praktik pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis MS Access. Setelah pelatihan, dilakukan pendampingan lanjutan terkait implementasi media dan pembelajaran arsip berdiferensiasi. Tahap terakhir adalah evaluasi, yang mencakup penilaian terhadap kemampuan peserta dalam membuat media, kualitas media yang dihasilkan, keaktifan peserta selama pelatihan, serta tingkat kehadiran. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa guru memperoleh peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran arsip berbasis digital yang sesuai dengan prinsip pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi dalam peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru, sekaligus mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SMK melalui penggunaan media digital yang inovatif. Kata kunci: kompetensi guru; media pembelajaran; arsip; multi sistem;pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Abstract The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum presents both opportunities and challenges in vocational high schools (SMK), emphasizing student needs through differentiated learning approaches. Phase F learning outcomes require students to be competent in digital archive management. However, in reality, the digital competencies of SMK graduates remain low. A major issue faced by Manajemen Perkantoran dan Layanan Bisnis (MPLB) teachers across Central Java is the lack of knowledge and skills in developing digital-based and differentiated archive learning media. Teachers have yet to fully implement differentiated learning, from planning to execution and evaluation. This community service activity was carried out in three main stages. The first was the preparation stage, which included material development, logistical arrangements, and the selection of 42 MPLB teachers from various SMKs across Central Java. The second stage was implementation, conducted in two parts, delivery of instructional materials and hands-on practice in creating archive learning media using Microsoft Access. This was followed by mentoring sessions to assist teachers in applying digital media and differentiated learning practices. The final stage was evaluation, which measured participants’ ability to create learning media, the quality of their output, engagement during the sessions, and attendance. The results showed improved teacher understanding and skills in developing digital archive learning media aligned with differentiated learning principles. This initiative significantly contributed to enhancing professional teacher competencies and supported the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in SMKs through the use of innovative digital media Keywords: teacher competence; learning media; archives; multi-system; differentiated learning.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of principal leadership, organizational culture, and academic supervision on teacher performance, as well as the moderating role of work motivation in these relationships. Teacher performance is reflected in the quality of teaching and learning activities and other institutional duties. Improving teacher performance requires various supports, including effective leadership, a strong organizational culture, adequate academic supervision, and high work motivation. The study employed a quantitative, ex post facto design with a proportional random sampling technique. The sample consisted of 115 teachers from State Vocational Schools in Kudus Regency. Data were collected through questionnaires, and analyzed using path analysis with Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results indicate that principal leadership, organizational culture, and academic supervision each have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. Furthermore, work motivation was found to strengthen the influence of leadership on performance. However, work motivation did not significantly moderate the influence of organizational culture or academic supervision on teacher performance. These findings suggest that enhancing teacher performance requires not only structural and cultural improvements but also strategies to increase teachers’ work motivation, particularly in supporting effective leadership practices

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of work motivation, work environment and professionalism on employee performance at Yayasan Darul Hasanah Semarang Regency. All employees were involved as respondents with a total of 65 people. In this study using quantitative survey method and the type of primary data used in the form of questionnaires distributed with saturated sample technique, as well as secondary data sourced from interviews, journals and books. The software used is IBM SPSS 26 using the multiple linear analysis method. The results of this study indicate that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 with t value of 5.795> 0.678 t table. The work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.014 <0.05, and a t value of 2.530> 0.678 t table. Professionalism has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.019 <0.05, with t value 2.416> 0.678 t table. Work motivation, work environment, and professionalism variables have a positive and significant influence on employee performance with a value of f count 28.545 > f table 2.746.
