Abstract

The purposes of the research were to describe and analysis of : (1) influence of learning interaction with learning motivation to mathematics learning achievement, (2) For high learning motivation, is there any differents mathematics learning achievement with uses CRH and NHT, (3) For low learning motivation, is there any differents mathematics learning achievement with uses CRH and NHT. The design of the research, was Quasi Experimental. The population in this research are all of VIII in the even semester of SMPN 1 Pallangga and SMPN 3 Sungguminasa academic year 2017-2018. The sampling of this research are one class in every schools. The samples of this research is cluster double random sampling. The method of collect the data used questionnaire, observation and test. The technique of data analysis used is the technique descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results analysis of this research are: (1) no influence of learning interaction with learning motivation to mathematics learning achievement, (2) For high learning motivation, there are differents mathematics learning achievement with uses CRH and NHT (81,66 > 72,22), (3) For low learning motivation, there are differents mathematics learning achievement with uses CRH and NHT (78,88 > 74,44).

Abstract

This study was ex-post facto research which purposed to know the influence of personality type, divergent thinking, family climate, and motivation toward student’s mathematics learning achievement on grade XI of Senior High School in Sinjai. The population of this study is student grade 11th MIA Senior High School in Sinjai. The sampling technique in this study was cluster random sampling, so the sample is 60 student grade 11th MIA in Senior High School in Sinjai. The data was collected using a questionnaire and test, then analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that there was no direct and indirect influence of personality types on students' mathematics learning achievement. In addition, there is a direct influence of each of the motivation, family climate and divergent thinking on the mathematics learning achievement of students. So that the family climate and divergent thinking each have an indirect effect on mathematics learning achievement through motivational variables.

Abstract

The research type was an Quasi-experimental which involved two groups with different treatment. Objectives of this research were to know the differences in the improvement of students mathematics learning outcomes between the application of Realistic Mathematics Education approach and the application of Contextual Teaching and Learning approach. The population in this research was grade VII one of the Junior High School in Polewali Mandar, West Sulawesi and two experiment classes are selected by random technique as research sample. Data analysis by using descriptive and inferential statistics. The result was obtained there are not the different in the improvement of students mathematics learning outcomes between the application of RME approach and the application of CTL approach.

Abstract

This research was the class action research that have the purpose to increase activities and mathematics learning result in the class VII.4 SMP Negeri 1 Tanete Riaja through the use of the media three dimension books with model of cooperative learning. The subject of this research is a class VII.4 SMP Negeri 1 Tanete Riaja with 27 people the number of students enrolled in academic year 2017/2018. This research was conducted within 2 cycles, the first cycle with 3 times and the second cycle with 4 times. In the implementation of learning with the use of three dimension books is an act that provided students to improve mathematics learning outcomes of students. The collect data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. From the analysis it can be concluded that the results of students from class VII.4 junior high school of Tanete Riaja increased from cycle I to cycle II. After learning to use the three dimension books medium for two cylce of learning, obtained the following results: (1) The mathematics learning in the first cycle is at low categories, with an average score of 55,55. Highest score is 75 and lowest score is 15 of the maximum possible score is 100 with a standart deviation of 14,299. (2) The results of mathematics learning in the second cycle is the high category with an average 70,00. Highest score is 87,5 and lowest score is 35 of the maximum possible score is 100 with standart deviation of 14,839. (3) the qualitative analysis the changes occuring in the attitudes of students during the learning process in accordance with the observation that with the implementation of the learning model by using the three dimension books medium can increase interest in student learning and increase student attendance.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of learning mathematics through the application of the Field Trip method in class VII based on student learning outcomes, activity, and student responses. This research is quantitative approachwithpre-experimental study and sampling technique used is cluster random sampling. Data analysis technique used is descriptive and inferential analysis techniques. The results of descriptive analysis showed: (1) average results of students' pretest was 20,5(very lo category), average student posttest result was 77,7(high category) (2) the posttest results showed that classical completeness was reached student activity at 90% (18 students), (3) average normalized gain was 0.7(high category), (4) average student activity was 92% (very good category), (5) average percentage of students who gave positive response of 94%. Inferential analysis results show: (1) the average value of students after being taught with the fieldtrip learning method is greater than 70, (2) the normalized average gain value is greater than 0.3 (medium category), (3) the percentage of positive student responses greater than 70%. From the results of this study it can be concluded that learning by applying the Field Trip methods is effectively applied to students of grade VII.

Abstract

This research was intended to describe student’s reflection thinking ability on solving HOTS questions based on students logical mathematical intelligence. This study was descriptive research with qualitative approach. Subjects of this study were ninth grader students of middle school, consisting of one student with high logical mathematical intelligence, one student with moderate logical mathematical intelligence, one student with low logical mathematical intelligence. Instruments in this study were logical mathematical intelligence test, high order thinking skill questions, and interview guideline. For reflective thinking ability, there are three phases that must be through by students. They are reacting, comparing, and contemplating phases. Research result showed that: 1) For reacting phase; students with high, moderate, and low logical mathematical intelligence fulfilled each indicator to react with their personal understanding. 2) For comparing phase; students with high and moderate logical mathematical intelligence fulfilled each indicator by analysing and evaluating their existing knowledge; student with low logical mathematical intelligence doesn’t meet any indicators. 3) For Contemplating phase; student with high logical mathematical intelligence fulfilled each indicator by solving the questions referring to the knowledge that she remembered; students with moderate and low logical mathematical intelligence don’t meet any indicators.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian yang telah dilakukan berfokus pada deskripsi kemampuan pemecahan masalah trigonometri matematika siswa ditinjau dari kemampuan awal matematika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana deskripsi kemampuan pemecahan masalah trigonometri matematika siswa ditinjau dari kemampuan awal matematika di kelas XI SMKN 1 Bulukumba. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMKN 1 Bulukumba, dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 3 siswa kelas XI Akl yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan kemampuan awal matematika tinggi mampu menjalani semua tahapan pemecahan masalah dengan tepat dan benar. Siswa dengan kemampuan awal matematika sedang dapat menyelesaikan masalah yang diberikan dan mengikuti langkah-langkah penyelesaian masalah, meskipun masih terdapat beberapa langkah yang belum terstruktur dengan baik dan maksimal. Sementara itu, siswa dengan kemampuan awal matematika rendah tidak dapat menyelesaikan seluruh langkah indikator pemecahan masalah dengan benar. Kata Kunci: Deskripsi, Kemampuan awal matematika, Pemecahan masalah  matematika

Abstract

Pelatihan dan pendampingan penulisan buku referensi bagi guru-guru SMA Negeri 3 Majene bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas guru dalam mengembangkan hasil penelitian menjadi karya tulis berbentuk buku referensi yang layak dipublikasikan. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi guru meliputi rendahnya motivasi menulis, keterbatasan pengetahuan teknis penyusunan buku, serta kurangnya keterampilan dalam pengelolaan referensi dan layout naskah. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara luring selama satu hari dengan metode ceramah interaktif, workshop praktik, diskusi, dan pendampingan mandiri. Materi pelatihan mencakup konsep dasar penulisan buku referensi, teknik penyusunan kerangka, pengelolaan referensi menggunakan aplikasi Zotero, desain layout buku, dan prosedur pengajuan ISBN. Sebanyak 14 guru dari berbagai bidang studi mengikuti kegiatan ini dan diberikan tugas mandiri untuk menyusun draft buku referensi berbasis hasil penelitian masing-masing. Evaluasi menunjukkan rata-rata tingkat keberhasilan sebesar 89,75% yang dikategorikan Tinggi. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam penulisan dan publikasi buku referensi. Kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu membangun budaya literasi ilmiah di lingkungan sekolah serta meningkatkan kontribusi guru terhadap pengembangan literatur akademik.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of producing an SCP-SQ-SCS (Stimulation, Concept Understanding, Problem, Search, Question, Solve, Create, and Share) based Student Worksheet in improving mathematical critical thinking skills that meet valid, practical, and effective criteria that can be applied in mathematics lectures for PGSD students. The model development process refers to the development model according to Nieveen, which includes (1) a preliminary stage. This phase involves finding that lecturers need an SCP-SQ-SCS-based Student Worksheet that trains students' critical thinking skills, which contains tasks that can develop students' critical thinking skills. (2) prototyping stage. This phase is designed as an SCP-SQ-SCS-based Student Worksheet, which includes the learning syntax of the SCP-SQ-SCS model. In addition to the validity of WORKSHEETs, the student response questionnaires, student activity observation sheets, and learning implementation observation sheets are also in the very valid category. (3) assessment stage. At this stage, the practicality and effectiveness of the SCP-SQ-SCS-based student worksheet were established. The practicality of the lecturer's response questionnaire analysis results showed a positive response to the Student Worksheet used. The results of the data analysis from the lecturer response questionnaire indicated that the average percentage of lecturer responses, at 92%, fell into the very positive category. The effectiveness of SCP-SQ-SCS-BASED Student Worksheets is seen from the results of data analysis of the components of student activity effectiveness; student response; and learning outcome tests, namely (1) the average percentage of student activities in the implementation of SCP-SQ-SCS-BASED Student WorksheetsIt is at the "good" criteria (2) the average percentage of student responses gives a positive response, and (3) the classical complete learning outcome test.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran AIR (Auditory Intellectually Repetition) lebih baik daripada kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi experiment. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran AIR (Auditory Intellectually Repetition) dan model pembelajaran konvensional, sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di UPT SPF SMP Negeri 26 Makassar yang berjumlah 216 siswa yang terdiri dari 8 kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah cluster random sampling dengan sampel penelitian adalah kelas VIII.1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah siswa 25 orang dan kelas VIII.4 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah siswa 24 orang. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi dan pemberian tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika pada materi statistika berupa posttest.  Berdasarkan hasil analisis deksriptif, diperoleh kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol berturut-turut adalah baik dan cukup. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik inferensial, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran AIR (Auditory Intellectually Repetition) lebih baik daripada kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional.
