Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the role of Artificial Intelligence Competencies, organizational support, and employee self-efficacy in predicting the performance of government employees. This research uses quantitative methods with a type of correlation research. The structural Equation Model (SEM) approach is assisted by the smart PLS application. This approach was chosen because it aims to determine the correlation between the Artifical Intelligence Competencies, Organizational Support, and Employee Self-Efficacy variables: Employee Self-Efficacy. Data analysis in this research used descriptive analysis and statistical analysis. Descriptive analysis is done by describing the results of the sampling percentage. Based on the results of the research, we show that Artificial Intelligence (AI) competencies, employee self-efficacy, work engagement, and organizational support proved to have an important contribution to improving the performance of government employees. Implications of this study indicates the need of holistic approach in human resource management in government sector. Organizations should also develop technical competencies like artificial intelligence and support psychological competencies like self-efficacy and work engagement through just policies and sufficient facilities.

Abstract

Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS) telah muncul sebagai teknologi revolusioner dalam komunikasi nirkabel, menawarkan tingkat kontrol yang belum pernah ada sebelumnya terhadap perambatan gelombang elektromagnetik. RIS terdiri dari sejumlah besar elemen pasif yang mampu memanipulasi fase, amplitudo, dan polarisasi gelombang elektromagnetik yang datang. Kemampuan unik ini memungkinkan RIS untuk secara aktif membentuk lingkungan nirkabel, berpotensi meningkatkan kekuatan sinyal, mengurangi interferensi, dan meningkatkan kinerja komunikasi secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang model kanal yang secara efektif mengintegrasikan pengaruh RIS pada kanal komunikasi nirkabel. Fokus utamanya adalah menyelidiki dampak penerapan RIS terhadap karakteristik propagasi sinyal, kapasitas kanal, dan kinerja sistem dalam konteks komunikasi 5G. Model kanal konvensional tidak lagi memadai untuk merepresentasikan karakteristik unik dari kanal nirkabel yang dilengkapi RIS, sehingga diperlukan pengembangan model kanal khusus yang disesuaikan dengan penerapan teknologi ini. Metodologi penelitian ini terdiri dari beberapa tahapan kunci. Pertama, dilakukan pengumpulan data komprehensif untuk membangun model yang akurat dari objek penelitian. Ini mencakup pengumpulan data teknis yang diperlukan untuk simulasi wilayah objek penelitian. Tahap kedua melibatkan simulasi menggunakan software Matlab untuk menghitung sifat elektromagnetis dari model RIS yang telah dikembangkan. Simulasi ini mempertimbangkan berbagai parameter seperti konfigurasi elemen RIS, karakteristik gelombang datang, dan kondisi lingkungan propagasi. Analisis mendalam dilakukan pada hasil simulasi, dengan fokus khusus pada amplitudo dan fase koefisien refleksi. Analisis ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana RIS mempengaruhi propagasi sinyal dalam berbagai skenario dan kondisi. Penelitian ini juga menyelidiki bagaimana konfigurasi dinamis dari elemen RIS dapat dioptimalkan untuk meningkatkan kinerja sistem komunikasi. Signifikansi penelitian ini terletak pada potensinya untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang interaksi antara RIS dan gelombang elektromagnetik dalam konteks komunikasi 5G.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the implementation of the Family Planning Village program in Boddie Village, Mandalle District, Pangkep Regency. This study used a qualitative research method with a descriptive type of research. The data collection technique used Observation, Interview and Documentation. The results of the study in conducting the analysis have four indicators, namely: (1) communication could be seen from the delivery of information and clarity of information. The socialization had run well, and was in line with expectations because the target group already understood what the implementor had explained. (2) There were two sub-resources, namely human resources and facility resources. In the implementation of the KB village program in Boddie Village, it was optimal because human resources were still unable to support the success of the KB village program, while facility resources had been able to help facilitate implementation of information to the public. (3) The disposition of the attitude of the implementor from the implementor was quite optimal because it could provide information to the public. (4) Bureaucratic structure In implementing the program, it was inseparable from the structure that has been given the task of carrying out these activities. Keywords: Implementation, Family planning village program

Abstract

This research aimed to develop scented plastic materials based on cassava starch, coumarin, microcrystalline cellulose (MCC), and other polymers such as xanthan gum, karaya gum, gum arabic, poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA), and poly(lactic acid). The films were made by solvent casting, focusing on using starch-coumarin (SC) complex as the base material. The SC complex was prepared by mixing starch and coumarin using water as a dispersion medium. The amount of coumarin was 5% (w/w), based on total weight of starch and coumarin. Several variations were used, such as types of plasticizers, stirring and sonication times to disperse MCC, types of added polymers, and the mass ratio between the added polymer and the starch-coumarin complex. The results showed that the films made of plasticizers 20% (w/w), consisting of poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG200) and glycerol with a mass ratio of 1:1, prepared by implementing 30 minutes stirring and 50 minutes sonication times of dispersing MCC of 4% (w/w), with the mass ratio of added polymer:complex of 1:2, resulted in the most optimum mechanical properties. Using this procedure and composition, added polymers of xanthan gum, karaya gum, and PVA produced homogenous films with tensile strength of 1.5-6.7 MPa, elongation of 9.5-189.7%, and Young’s modulus of 2.3-7.9 MPa. Amongst these added polymers, PVA showed the best compatibility in the blend, resulting in a film with a tensile strength of 3.9 MPa, an elongation of 189.7%, and Young’s modulus of 2.3.

Abstract

The incidence of chronic energy deficiency (CED) in pregnant women remains high. One of the interventions is the utilization of local supplementary foods, though options such as pumpkin and corn remain limited. Purpose: This study aimed to determine the effect of adding pumpkin to the acceptability and proximate composition of pumpkin-corn grits. This was an experimental study using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 treatments and 3 replications. Data were analyzed using ANOVA and Duncan’s multiple range test. The addition of 40g, 50g, and 60g of pumpkin significantly affected organoleptic properties, particularly taste (p < 0.05), with average panelist scores ranging from 3.13 to 3.68 (liked category). No significant differences were found in color, aroma, or texture. The highest values for water, ash, and protein content were observed in the F3 treatment (60g pumpkin), while the highest fat, fiber, and carbohydrate contents were found in F1 (40g pumpkin). The acceptability test showed significant differences in color, taste, aroma, and texture for the F3 formula (p < 0.05). The addition of pumpkin significantly improved taste and affected proximate values for ash, fat, and protein. Local governments and health programs may consider using pumpkin-corn grits as an alternative supplementary food for pregnant women.

Abstract

Teknologi di bidang telekomunikasi dan informasi terus berkembang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat. Teknologi telekomunikasi yang umum dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat saat ini adalah teknologi berbasis wireless. Keunggulan tekonologi wireless ini salah satunya adalah dapat menjangkau wilayah yang sulit dicapai melalui jaringan kabel. Salah satu teknologi jaringan wireless yang sedang berkembang pada era ini adalah Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET). Jaringan MANET merupakan jaringan wireless yang terdiri dari beberapa node mobile dalam suatu area. Setiap node pada jaringan MANET dapat berfungsi sebagai host maupun router, sehingga aplikasinya memerlukan  protokol routing. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis kinerja throughput, delay, dan packet loss jaringan MANET. Protokol routing yang digunakan adalah OLSR (Optimized Link State Routing). Simulasi MANET dilakukan untuk dua skenario, yaitu skenario penambahan jumlah node, dan skenario penambahan kecepatan gerak node. Simulasi menggunakan Software Network Simulator-3 (NS-3) yang dijalankan di atas Sistem Operasi Ubuntu. Hasil simulasi diperoleh nilai throughput terbaik 9,929 kbps untuk skenario penambahan node, dengan jumlah node 20, dan 9,850 kbps untuk skenario penambahan kecepatan node, dengan kecepatan node 5 m/s. Sementara nilai delay dan packet loss terbaik diperoleh 0,413 ms dan 0% untuk skenario penambahan node, serta 4,941 ms dan 0% untuk skenario penambahan kecepatan.

Abstract

Whenever the additional random 1-5 kW rating and location photovoltaics (PVs) are connected into the residential feeder, the voltage profiles of the feeder become unbalanced. Besides the various load at the customer side has already imbalanced the feeder, the installed single-phase rooftop PVs do the same thing. They caused the power quality issues, namely voltage magnitude and angle, frequency, active and reactive powers become expressively recognized. Since the ancient electric utility infrastructure from power plants to customer side is now disrupting by the added settlement of several utility devices, the power quality issues have raisin significantly. This paper aims to implement the concept of several internets of things (IoT) technologies into the electric and communication infrastructures as they are able to virtuously cycle, enable, amplify and reinforce the utility development. To improve the imbalanced voltage and other power quality issues, this concept applied to the existed voltage regulation technique (VRT). The results show that the concept of IoT-based communication is successfully implemented if both the devices and technologies properly selected and designed. Additionally, the classification of communication layers, then the coordination of sensors, actuators, and meters along the residential feeder need to be considered as well.

Abstract

Pendidikan tinggi masih menjadi barang “mewah” bagi sebagian besar anak muda Indonesia. Di tengah minimnya nak-anak muda bangsa yang memiliki akses ke perguruan tinggi, perguruan tinggi swasta (PTS) kini mengeluhkan adanya ekosistem persaingan yang tidak sehat dengan perguruan tinggi negeri (PTN). Perguruan tinggi swasta (PTS) mengeluhkan menurunnya jumlah mahasiswa baru beberapa tahun belakangan ini. Tidak hanya karena pandemi covid-19, namun juga turut terdampak pembukaan jalur mandiri di perguruan tinggi negeri. Hal ini juga terjadi di Universitas Ibnu Chaldun, sehingga perlu membuat strategi untuk menarik dan menjemput calon mahasiswa baru dengan mengadakan promosi. Salah satu promosi yang dilakukan dengan mengadakan event try out untuk siswa SMU/SMK kelas XII yang akan ujian .

Abstract

Komputer menjadi bagian yang harus menjadi perhatian utama dalam pendidikan untuk saat ini. Komputer menjadi salah satu perangkat teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang harus dikuasi oleh siswa. Namun masih banyak siswa yang belum dapat mengoperasikan program komputer dengan baik. Siswa belum menguasai dengan baik keterampilan computer dasar. Tujuan artikel ini ditulis yaitu  mendeskripsikan pelatihan  computer dasar seperti Microsoft word, exel, dan power point kepada siswa siswi di MTs  Mathlaul Huda. Metode yang digunakan yaitu participatory action research untuk transfer ilmu pengetahuan tentang computer kepada siswa. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu dengan cara demonstrasi dan pendampingan kepada siswa kelas VII, VIII, dan IX dalam menjalankan program-program computer.  Pelatihan ini memberikan dampak positif bagi siswa diantaranya siswa mampu mengoperasikan program-program dasar computer yang dapat digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Teachers need a simple teaching aid that aligns with the topic of three-dimensional shapes and can be reused over a long period. This research is motivated by students' difficulties in understanding the elements of three-dimensional shapes, as well as their confusion in determining the volume formulas of curved-sided solids that are relatively similar. Therefore, this study aims to develop an appropriate instructional media to help address these student learning difficulties. Therefore, research and development are necessary to produce the Potar Bungkerla media, which is adapted from the environment. R&D (Research and Development) with a model ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation) used in this research. The instruments consist of expert validation sheets for media and content experts, as well as teacher and student response questionnaires. The final results obtained from media expert validation scored 93.6%, while content expert validation scored 83%, both classified as "highly feasible." Meanwhile, the teacher response scored 95% with a "very interesting" classification, and the student response scored 88.75%, also classified as "very interesting." As a result, this study successfully developed a learning media that can be used by students to overcome difficulties in discovering the volume formulas of curved-sided solids. These figures indicate that this media is highly feasible and captures students' interest. Therefore, the research has been completed, and the media can be used in Grade VI at MIN 22 Aceh Besar.
