Abstract

Developing a learning resource book about West Javanese culture is one way to increase students' cultural literacy. Make students get to know the culture of West Java, especially in social studies learning.The purpose of this research is; (1) understand the meaning of cultural literacy; (2) apply the understanding of cultural literacy; (3) describe the effectiveness of the book as a source of learning about the culture of West Java. This research was conducted in May-August 2023 and was conducted in class IV at SDN Sukadami 04 Cikarang with a total of 43 students. The method used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) and uses the ADDIE development model with 5 stages.The results showed that the source book for learning about West Javanese culture which had been developed based on media experts got a percentage score of 90% with a very valid category, then validation by material experts got a percentage score of 80% with a valid category, and then by linguists got percentage score of 72% with a valid category. The development test conducted on 43 grade IV students obtained a percentage score of 95% in the very practical category, the test measuring the effectiveness analysis conducted on 43 grade IV students obtained a percentage score of 93% in the very effective category, and then the teacher's assessment obtained a percentage score of 92. 5% in the very practical category. Based on the results of the data acquisition, it shows that the development of learning resource books about West Java culture is to increase students' cultural literacy in social studies subjects in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Lapbook learning media and test the feasibility of Lapbook learning media in order to increase student interest in learning. This research is included in Research and Development (RnD) research which uses the ADDIE development model in Sugiyono's book with 5 stages, namely: 1) analysis; 2) product design; 3) development; 4) implementation; 5) evaluation. The subjects of this study were third grade students of SDN Sukadami 04 with data collection techniques conducting interviews, for respondents in this study, namely media, language and material experts as well as media users, namely homeroom teachers and students. This study found that: (1) Lapbook learning media is declared feasible by the material with a percentage of 90% material feasibility assessment including very feasible criteria, 94% language feasibility assessment with very feasible criteria and 100% media feasibility; (2) Lapbook learning media is declared very effective by class teachers with a percentage of 95% and students 98.6%. The conclusion of this study is that Lapbook learning media is declared feasible for use in science pedagogical subjects with material on Changes in the Form of Objects. Input from this study, so that the use of media in learning activities is further enhanced as needed.

Abstract

Improving the mathematical ability of elementary school students is important to do as a provision for students in solving problems in everyday life. But in it’s application, it is not uncommon for students to feel less enthusiastic in following learning. By conducting learning using developed learning media, students will feel more enthusiastic in following the learning delivered. The research was conducted on grade III students in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year at SD Islam Plus An-Nur This research uses a development research method with the ADDIE model. The learning media developed is Majamat (mathematics magazine). Majamat (mathematics magazine) is a learning magazine that contains material about the circumference of flat wakes. In it’s development, Majamat (mathematics magazine) received an assessment from validators, namely 90.77% from subject content experts, 98.67% from learning media design experts, and 84.62% from linguists. In addition, Majamat (mathematics magazine) obtained the results of educator responses of 75% and student responses of 95.88%. Majamat (mathematics magazine) also obtained an effectiveness score of 80.53 in improving students' mathematical abilities. So it can be concluded that using Majamat (mathematics magazine) can help improve the mathematical ability of students.
