Abstract

Urban waste challenges persist in intensifying and numerous communities exhibit a lack of engagement regarding sustainable waste management practices, waste banks present an alternative, proactive approach that empowers individuals through collaborative waste governance. The purpose of this study is to find out: How are Community Empowerment Efforts in managing Waste Banks in the area. This study uses a qualitative approach with the research location at the Waste Bank in Cilandak District. The management of waste banks in Cilandak sub-district is carried out by sub-districts in Cilandak sub-district, waste management is in accordance with Governor Regulation No. 77 of 2020 that each sub-district forms a waste bank up to the sub village level. Waste management in the Cilandak sub-district area has implemented the 3R concept, namely: a) Reduce (reduce waste generation), Reuse (reuse), and Recycle (recycle).  The implementation of community empowerment through waste banks in Cilandak sub-district which is lowered into the activity program in each sub-district, namely having activities including waste bank socialization, waste saving, waste selection, skills training and evaluation carried out in the work program every year, but there are still shortcomings because not all RT/RW from each sub-district have formed a waste bank. This research is confined to one district and may not adequately represent wider regional disparities. Subsequent investigations ought to incorporate a comparative analysis across various urban locales to evaluate distinct frameworks of waste bank management and their enduring socio-economic and environmental repercussions.

Abstract

The teacher certification policy is one of the government’s key strategies to improve national education quality by strengthening the role of teachers as professionals. Certification is regarded as a continuous professional development instrument that not only enhances teacher capacity but also serves as recognition of the teaching profession. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of teacher certification in improving learning quality, by examining whether the policy genuinely contributes to teacher professionalism or merely emphasizes administrative compliance. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed through literature review, policy analysis, and limited interviews with teachers and principals. The findings indicate that certification has positive impacts on teacher welfare and formal recognition of the profession, yet it has not significantly contributed to changes in pedagogy or classroom learning quality. Teachers’ motivation tends to be driven by financial incentives rather than professional competence development, while increasing administrative burdens often reduce their focus on teaching. The gap between normative policy objectives and actual practice suggests that certification has not fully functioned as a catalyst for improving learning outcomes. Policy implications highlighted in this study emphasize the need for flexible implementation, including affirmative schemes or special treatment for teachers in disadvantaged regions, to ensure equitable professional development across Indonesia.

Abstract

Pesantren in Indonesia are increasingly challenged by modernization, state-driven standardization, and globalization, which have fragmented religious and secular knowledge, marginalizedmoral and spiritualformation, and reduced educationto merecredentialism—developments that contradict Imam al-Ghazali’s classical vision of ethical and spiritual refinement. To address these challenges, this study proposes a practical model for integrating al-Ghazali’s ta’dib framework—emphasizing adab (discipline), tazkiyah (spiritual purification), mujāhadah (inner struggle), niyyah (sincerity), and ma‘rifah (divine knowledge)—into contemporary pesantren curricula and evaluates its effectiveness through measurable indicators. Adopting a qualitative dual-method design, the research combines hermeneutical analysis of al-Ghazali’s seminal works (Iḥyā’ ‘Ulūm al-Dīn, Ayyuhā al-Walad, al-Tarbiyah wa al-Ta‘līm, al-Risālah al-Ladunniyyah) with field-based case studies in three purposively selected pesantren. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews (n=12), participant observations, and document analysis, and subjected to thematic coding. The study addresses three key gaps in the literature: the absence of empirical implementation models, the lack of rigorous evaluation frameworks, and limited stakeholder-driven research. From field validation, a ta’dib integration model with seven quantifiable indicators was developed—moral reasoning, spiritual disposition, academic performance, pedagogical coherence, stakeholder satisfaction, institutional alignment, and ritual engagement. Findings revealed significant improvements in student character scores (18%) and academic achievement (12%) after one year. Key enabling factors included strong kyai leadership and community involvement, while barriers stemmed from accreditation demands and insufficient teacher training. The results suggest that systematic ta’dib integration can alignspiritual and moralformation with academic excellence, offering evidence-based guidance for pesantren leaders and policymakers in advancing holistic, value-based educationalreform.

Abstract

This research method uses quantitative methods with a descriptive approach. This type of associative research uses a quantitative approach with a population of 19088 with a sample of 100 respondents. This research uses linear regression methods, correlation coefficient, determination, t test analysis, and f test. The results of the linear regression test show that a constant of 1.857 means that if Promotion (X1) and Facilities (X2) are not considered then Customer Satisfaction (Y) will only be worth 1.857 points. The correlation coefficient obtained is 0.936, meaning that the Promotion (X1) and Facilities (X2) variables have a very strong relationship with customer satisfaction. The result of the coefficient of determination is 0.876, it can be concluded that the Promotion (X1) and Facilities (X2) variables have an effect on the Customer Satisfaction variable by 87.6%. The results of the promotion t test show that the p value is < sig 0.05 or (0.000 < 0.05). The obtained t value > t table is (23.705 > 1.984). Likewise, the facility t test shows p value < sig 0.05 or (0.000 < 0.05), obtained tcount > ttable (21.701 > 1.984). The results using the f test were obtained with a p value < sig 0.05 or (0.000 < 0.05), and the calculated f value > f table, namely (343.611 > 3.09). From the results of this research, it can be concluded that promotions and facilities have a significant influence on customer satisfaction at the Yasmin Karawaci Hotel Tangerang.

Abstract

Motivasi dalam pendidikan modern merupakan faktor penting yang mempengaruhi efektivitas proses pembelajaran, terutama dalam mata pelajaran seperti Pendidikan Islam (PAI). Metode pengajaran tradisional sering gagal memotivasi siswa, yang mengarah ke pendekatan yang lebih interaktif dan inovatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimental di Sekolah Baitul Mukmin Bekasi untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh metode pembelajaran aktif terhadap motivasi siswa. Dua kelompok digunakan: kelompok eksperimen yang memberikan pembelajaran aktif, dan kelompok kontrol yang menerapkan metode pengajaran tradisional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi siswa yang signifikan saat menggunakan metode pembelajaran aktif, dengan peningkatan pre-test 3,2 menjadi post-test 4,5. Kelompok kontrol tidak menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa guru harus mengadaptasi metode pembelajaran aktif sebagai strategi utama dalam PAI untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan kualitas pembelajaran. Studi ini juga mengidentifikasi komponen pembelajaran aktif yang efektif dan mengeksplorasi faktor-faktor seperti konteks sosial dan kemampuan siswa untuk belajar, yang memengaruhi efektivitas metode ini dalam berbagai konteks pendidikan.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji peran sentral Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam meningkatkan kualitas moral dan spiritual siswa di tengah tantangan era digital. Krisis moral yang termanifestasi dalam berbagai perilaku negatif di kalangan remaja menuntut respons pendidikan yang efektif. PAI, dengan landasan filosofis dan yuridis yang kuat, diposisikan sebagai instrumen fundamental untuk pembentukan karakter. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif, menganalisis secara sistematis berbagai sumber data berupa jurnal ilmiah, buku, dan dokumen kebijakan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa PAI berkontribusi secara holistik melalui materi ajar yang terintegrasi (Aqidah, Ibadah, Akhlak, Sirah) dan metode pedagogis yang transformatif (keteladanan, pembiasaan). Namun, efektivitasnya sering terhambat oleh problematika implementasi, seperti keterbatasan kompetensi guru dan minimnya sinergi antara sekolah, keluarga, dan masyarakat. Sebagai respons, inovasi pembelajaran PAI berbasis teknologi dan pendekatan interaktif terbukti mampu meningkatkan relevansi dan daya tarik PAI bagi generasi Z. Disimpulkan bahwa optimalisasi peran PAI memerlukan pergeseran dari pengajaran formalistik menuju pendidikan karakter yang terintegrasi, inovatif, dan kolaboratif. Artikel ini merekomendasikan penguatan profesionalisme guru, pengembangan kurikulum yang adaptif, dan pembangunan ekosistem pendidikan yang sinergis untuk memaksimalkan dampak PAI dalam membina generasi berakhlak mulia dan spiritualitas yang kokoh.

Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk menganalisis kendala orang tua dalam mendampingi pembelajaran daring anak usia dini di masa pandemi dengan bentuk pengalaman situasi sulit orang tua, bentuk-bentuk coping yang dilakukan orang tua dengan menguhi pengaruh bentuk situasi sulit yang dialami dengan bentuk coping serta menguji pengaruh faktor sosiodemografi. Penelitian mengambil sampel sejumlah 153 orang tua yang diberikan angket berupa instrumen situasi sulit orang tua dengan instrumen gaya coping. Hasil penelitian menyatakan situasi paling sulit yang dirasakan oleh para orang tua paling banyak dirasakan adalah ketika orangtua merasa memiliki terlalu banyak tanggung jawab yang disebabkan karena beberapa orang tua sibuk dengan berbagai pekerjaan, sehingga jika ditambah lagi dengan mendampingi anak dengan pembelajran jarak jauh membuat orang tua merasa tanggung jawabnya bertambah. Hasil penelitian juga menyatakan bahwa bentuk coping orang tua paling banyak dilakukan adalah dengan cara menganalisis masalah sebelum bertindak. Karena para orang tua semakin sering menghadapi masalah saat mendampingi anak belajar maka mereka pun belajar untuk mengatasinya dengan cara mencari cara yang tepat dan meminimalisir hal-hal yang akan terjadi. Sehingga ketika kondisi sulit terjadi orang tua sudah mengatahui solusinya. Tak hanya itu saja, bentuk coping orang tua selanjutnya adalah para orang tua sering melakukan refreshing untuk keluar dari zona stress ketika menghadapi situasi sulit, hal ini dapat membantu orang tua kembali bersemangat mendampingi anak ketika belajar. Mengunjungi teman saat menyelesaikan masalah adalah salah satu pilihan terakhir orang tua ketika mengatasi kondisi sulit saat mendampingi anak belajar di rumah. Hasil penelitian terkait uji hipotesis baik uji parsial maupun simultan diperoleh bahwa sosiodemografi berpengaruh terhadap situasi sulit dan bentuk coping. Hasil penelitian dengan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara sosiodemografi terhadap bentuk pengalaman sulit dan bentuk penyelesaian masalah, sehingga dapat diasumsikan bahwa keragaman bentuk kendala atau situasi sulit para orang tua dalam mendampingi anak usia dini pembelajaran daring tidak terbatas pada perbedaan faktor sosiodemografi individu, hal ini berlaku untuk penyelesaian masalah yang digunakan dan beragamnya sitasi sulit membuat individu mencoba berbagai cara penyelesaian masalah yang sedang dihadapi. Kata Kunci : Kendala Orang Tua, Pembelajaran Daring Anak Usia Dini, Cara Coping

Abstract

PT Bersama Cipta Mandiri merupakan Salah satu perusahaan yang baru berkembang di kecamatan Wuluhan mempunyai Strategi Agresif dengan mendukung posisi ideal dalam usaha comparative advantage. Maksudnya adalah kegiatan usaha dari PT Bersama Cipta Mandiri dalam kondisi yang aktif bergerak untuk memotivasi di segala segi serta demi peningkatan produktifitas yang didukung dengan peningkatan penjualan untuk mencapai peningkatan yang optimal atas perolehan keuntungan usaha. Kekuatan usaha yang Comparative Advantage yaitu usaha yang masih dalam kisaran kekuatan medium pertengahan sebesar 1,04 mempunyai peluang yang lebih besar yaitu sebesar 0,76. Hal ini mengakibatkan usaha dalam kondisi Comparative Advantage pada tingkat 1,8. Artinya usaha harus aktif melakukan pengembangan dan inovasi secara kumulatif untuk meraih peluang yang begitu bagus.

Abstract

This research aims to develop digital teaching materials for explanatory texts to strengthen high school students' critical thinking. Formulation of the problem of this research (1) How do digital explanatory text teaching materials strengthen critical thinking? (2) What are the results of implementing digital explanatory text teaching materials to strengthen critical thinking? This research uses research and development methods with the ADDIE model. The steps in this research consist of needs analysis, designing digital teaching materials, developing digital teaching materials, implementing digital teaching material products, and evaluating digital teaching material products. The method for collecting data in this research is by collecting data from the results of expert validation questionnaires and student assessment questionnaires. The data obtained was analyzed descriptively using a Likert scale. The results of the design of digital teaching materials for explanatory texts to strengthen high school students' critical thinking consist of cover, material, post-material, Canva video, and accompanied by musical instruments that can be accessed using a computer or smartphone. The results of product assessments by validity experts (materials, media and teachers) as well as the results of student questionnaires regarding digital teaching material products with explanatory texts are stated in the "feasible" category. Test results in the implementation of explanatory text digital teaching materials to strengthen students' critical thinking at MA Al-Zaytun and SMAN 1 Gantar, the average student score has increased compared to before implementing explanatory text digital teaching materials. The conclusion of this research is that the results of tests and questionnaires on digital teaching materials for explanatory texts to strengthen high school students' critical thinking are categorized as having improved. The respondents' assessment indicates that the digital teaching material product, explanatory text for enhancing high school students' critical thinking, meets the necessary criteria for use by students or teachers.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Project-Based Learning Model Oriented Towards Creative Character in Poetry Text Learning for 10th Grade High School Students." Based on the results of research on poetry text learning activities, teachers need to adapt the learning model to effectively implement classroom activities. Therefore, the problem addressed by this research is how to model a creative character-oriented project-based learning approach in teaching poetry texts in 10th-grade high school. The aim of this research is to explain a creative character-oriented project-based learning model for teaching poetry texts. The research method used is Research and Development (RnD). The primary data source comes from expert teachers who validate the Learning Implementation Plan tool. Data collection is conducted by providing a set of question instruments to the validators for assessment. The data analysis technique involves validation analysis and effectiveness analysis, assisted by statistical analysis using Microsoft Excel. The presentation of the collected data includes a narrative description of the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) after validation by the validators. Conclusions are drawn from the validation results based on questionnaire evidence provided by the three validators. At the final stage, after the lesson plan has been validated, it will be concluded and described. The research results showed that the average score before using the project-based learning model (O1) was 79.80. After using the project-based learning model, the score (O2) increased to 87.30. Data based on regression statistical tests using Microsoft Excel show that the p-value is < 0.005, indicating that H0 is accepted. This data explains that with a p-value of 0.868, there is a significant difference in learning outcomes between before and after using the Project-Based Learning Model.
