Abstract

This research method uses quantitative methods with a descriptive approach. This type of associative research uses a quantitative approach with a population of 19088 with a sample of 100 respondents. This research uses linear regression methods, correlation coefficient, determination, t test analysis, and f test. The results of the linear regression test show that a constant of 1.857 means that if Promotion (X1) and Facilities (X2) are not considered then Customer Satisfaction (Y) will only be worth 1.857 points. The correlation coefficient obtained is 0.936, meaning that the Promotion (X1) and Facilities (X2) variables have a very strong relationship with customer satisfaction. The result of the coefficient of determination is 0.876, it can be concluded that the Promotion (X1) and Facilities (X2) variables have an effect on the Customer Satisfaction variable by 87.6%. The results of the promotion t test show that the p value is < sig 0.05 or (0.000 < 0.05). The obtained t value > t table is (23.705 > 1.984). Likewise, the facility t test shows p value < sig 0.05 or (0.000 < 0.05), obtained tcount > ttable (21.701 > 1.984). The results using the f test were obtained with a p value < sig 0.05 or (0.000 < 0.05), and the calculated f value > f table, namely (343.611 > 3.09). From the results of this research, it can be concluded that promotions and facilities have a significant influence on customer satisfaction at the Yasmin Karawaci Hotel Tangerang.

Abstract

A high number of cases of religious intolerance accompanied by violence has occurred in the last 5 years, causing disharmony in inter-religious relations and disrupting community interaction in religious life. This phenomenon has prompted the Ministry of Religion to set policies and take concrete steps in applying the concept of religious moderation in order to prevent the spread of cases of intolerance. The same thing was also done in the Provinces of the Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta and Central Java. This study is one of the efforts to find out how communication patterns are in the mainstreaming of religious moderation in both provinces, which is represented by Gunung Kidul Regency and Kebumen Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data was collected through documentation techniques and direct observation in the field, accompanied by interviews and focus discussion groups for officials. Ministry religion, religious leaders, and Islamic religious educators in both locations are the spearhead in promoting moderation in various ways. The research results show that the Office Ministry Religion DIY Province and Kebumen Regency, Central Java, have implemented religious moderation policies through three forms: socialization, institutionalization, and activity evaluation. Furthermore, this study found that the communication patterns developed in the mainstreaming of religious moderation were relatively the same, namely centered on formal leaders and religious leaders in society.

Abstract

This research addresses the need to enhance critical thinking skills in junior high school students through effective instructional design, particularly in the context of learning news texts. The study is based on the premise that problem-based learning (PBL) can significantly improve students' critical thinking by engaging them in real-world problem-solving scenarios. Given the growing emphasis on critical thinking as a core educational objective, it is essential to develop instructional models that not only teach content but also foster higher-order thinking skills. The primary aim of this research is to design an instructional model for teaching news texts in junior high school and to assess its validity and effectiveness. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach, utilizing the ADDIE model, which involves five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Following the development of the instructional design, it underwent validation by both learning experts and practitioners. The validation process yielded high scores, with learning experts rating it at 95.83% and practitioners at 88.89%, resulting in an overall average validity score of 92.36%, categorizing the design as highly valid. In practice, the problem-based learning model was implemented in classrooms, and its impact on students' learning outcomes was evaluated. The students achieved an average learning score of 86%, indicating the instructional design's effectiveness in delivering content. Furthermore, the assessment of students' critical thinking skills showed an average score of 79%, placing it in the "good" category. These findings suggest that the PBL-based instructional design is effective in not only teaching news texts but also in enhancing students' critical thinking skills, making it a valuable approach for junior high school education.

Abstract

The accumulation of unused and expired medicines in households poses significant economic, health, and environmental challenges. This study aimed to estimate the economic value of unused medicines and identify factors contributing to their accumulation among households in the Cibarusah District, Bekasi Regency, Indonesia. A cross-sectional survey was conducted from May to June 2025 involving 354 households selected using a convenience sampling approach. Data were collected through structured, face-to-face interviews with validated questionnaires and analyzed descriptively using Microsoft Excel 2021 and SPSS version 29. Results showed that 71.5% of households stored unused medicines, representing an estimated total economic value of IDR 25,271,179, or an average loss of IDR 99,886 per household. Expired medicines accounted for 28.5% of all stored items, with a mean value of IDR 114,897 per household. Analgesics, antipyretics, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), and antigout agents were the most frequently stored drug classes (20.1%), followed by gastrointestinal medicines (15.2%). The primary reasons for medicine accumulation were recovery from illness (70.9%), drug ineffectiveness (15.8%), and expiration (28.5%). Most respondents were female (67.2%), aged 36–55 years, and had completed secondary education. When extrapolated to all 32,515 households in Cibarusah District, the potential economic loss due to unused medicines reached approximately IDR 1.18 billion. This study highlights the substantial economic burden associated with household medicine storage and the need for improved public awareness of rational medicine use. Strengthening educational programs, involving community pharmacists in household medicine management, and establishing structured medicine take-back systems are essential to reduce pharmaceutical waste and its economic impact. These findings contribute valuable local evidence to support national strategies for promoting sustainable and responsible medicine use in Indonesia.
