Abstract

Introduction & Aim: Smoking can be life-threatening and can be fatal. This phenomenon is widespread, especially among teenagers. Most smokers start smoking in their teens. Knowledge about the dangers of smoking in adolescents is still limited, where adolescents only know that smoking is not good for health, but do not have extensive knowledge about the dangers of smoking to their own health and the environment. Health education based on Emo Demo (Emotional Demonstration) is expected to increase youth's knowledge about the dangers of smoking. Method of Activity: Community service is carried out for youth in the Surabaya City Region, using lecture, demonstration, discussion and question and answer methods. The initial stage of registration and distribution of leaflets, filling out the Pre-Test quiz. The implementation phase uses lecture methods, discussions, followed by demonstrations and simulations. The final stage is evaluation, participants are asked questions by the presenter regarding the topics that have been explained and post test quizzes. Activity results: The level of knowledge of adolescents before being given health education on the dangers of smoking was mostly 43.75% insufficient, 25.00% sufficient, and 31.25% good. After being given Emo Demo-based Health Education there was an increase in adolescent knowledge about the dangers of smoking, 50.00% had good knowledge, 43.75% had enough, and 6.25 had less. Discussion: Changes in attitude due to increased knowledge show that Health Education based on Emo Demo (Emotional Demonstration) about the dangers of smoking is effective in conveying health information.

Abstract

The main objective of these findings is to assess how Liquidity, Profitability Ratios and Profit Management influence the value of infrastructure sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018 to 2022. Also, the role of managerial ownership as a moderating factor in this relationship should be examined. This research focuses on a sample of 10 infrastructure group companies selected using purposive sampling, resulting in a sample size of 50. Data collection resulted in extracting information from financial reports available on the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analysis uses multiple linear regression. The research results found that liquidity hurts company value. Apart from that, profitability has a substantial positive effect on company value. However, earnings management does not have a significant impact on company value. Other results show that managerial ownership cannot moderate the relationship between liquidity and company value, profitability and company value, as well as profit management and company value.

Abstract

Abstract

It turns out that organizational culture has a strong influence on teacher performance, while organizational communication has a weaker influence on teacher performance. This was revealed from the results of research conducted on 33 elementary school teachers at SD Negeri 11, Rantau Utara District, Labuhan Batu Regency. The results of multiple regression analysis via SPSS 24 output show the linear regression equation Y= 0.091+0.828X1+0.360X2 meaning that if there is an effort to increase 1 (one) unit then teacher performance will increase by 0.828, likewise organizational communication will increase teacher performance by 0.360. Next, the hypothesis using the t-test via SPSS 24 output shows that tsig 0.000 < 0.1, which means Ha is accepted. Likewise, the F-test shows that Fsig 0.000 < 0.1. Considering that organizational communication has a smaller influence than organizational culture, it is recommended to strengthen organizational communication in elementary schools, through the provision of bookshelves displaying educational magazines such as educational nimbar, educational selecta, testing magazines, etc. To be a reference for teachers.
