AbstractThis study aims to describe and explain the educational value of the characters of the main characters of the novel When God falls in love by Wahyu Sujani and plans the implementation of the results of research on learning Indonesian. The research method used is content analysis using a literary psychology approach with a qualitative descriptive form. The source of the data in this study is a novel text, When Dewa Jatuh Cinta by Wahyu Sujani, published by Publisher DIVA Press, 443 pages thick, first print, July 2009. Data used in the form of quotations (words, phrases, sentences, or dialogues) relating to character education values. The results of the research on character education found in the main characters of the novel When God Fall in Love by Revelation Sujani include; (1) honest, (2) hard work, (3) responsible, (4) religious, (5) smart, and (6) patient. Novel When God Falling in Love by Wahyu Sujani can be used as material for learning literature in senior high schools by paying attention to several aspects, namely, curriculum, learning objectives, learning models, methods and learning media. Novel When God Fell In Love Revelation Sujani's work can be used as learning material in the K13 Curriculum. Keywords: Character Education, Psychology Study, Learning

AbstractThe research focused to analyze Bali’s local colour in the novel Di Bawah Langit yang Sama by Helga Rif. Researcher focused on the local colour because it was dominate in the novel. This research aimed to describe about life habits, attitudes and the implementation plan of research results to literary learning. Researcher use qualitative research method and describtive research form with literary sociology study. Data source of this research is novel Di Bawah Langit yang Sama. Data of this research were the occurrences of quotation in the text. Technique in data collection is documentary study. Data collection tools is researcher as main instrument and assisted with registrar tools. The result of this research were life habits in Ngaben ceremony divided to the type of Ngaben, stages, tools and the restrictions. Life habits in marriage ceremony divided on the system of marriage, stages, marriage procession ceremony, and tools. The third life habits were in Maturan. The result about attitudes were tolerance for foreign cultures, surrender to God, assertive, courageous, obedient, responsibilities, respect and mutual help, keep others feeling, friendly, wise, politeness, patience and sincere. The researcher was planning about literary implementation learning use narrative text based on Basic Competencies and syllabus. Keywords: Attitudes, Life Habits, Local Colour, Novel.

Abstract The data of this study is the Dwilogi Surga Yang Tak Dirindukan by Asma Nadia. Data that was collected was analyzed by using a non-interactive analysis model with three steps, namely: (1) data reduction (2) data presentation (3) drawing conclusions or data verification. The results of this study are as follows (1) the role of femalecharacter as Ibu includes: as an educator, a nanny, supervisor an introducer to culture, a companion husbands, and as policy makers. Role as wife: as a housewife, and as a companion to husband. Role as worker: woman as writer, or an employee. (2) the role of woman in society: first, the character Ibu as a wife, a caregiver, and a supervisor of child development. Second: wife's attitude as the manager of the household, wife's attitude as husband's companion, wife's attitude as husband's companion, wife's attitude as a member of the community. (3) the image of a female figure named Arini is a strong, kind, gentle woman always fighting for the happiness of her children. The image of Mei Rose, an orphaned woman who lives with her aunt, her life is hard and she experience many things in her life that teach her how to be a strong and independent woman. AbstractThis research on the ability of students to write permission letters. The problem in this research is students often underestimate the application for permission request letter, so the teacher thinks students who are not attending school are considered negligent. This is very influential on student absenteeism presence.The method in this research used a descriptive method. Form of research is qualitative. The source of the data was VII grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Capkala Kabupaten Bengkayang consisting of 39 students in the academic year 2018/2019. The data in this study were using spelling, standard word, effective sentences, preparing paragraphs and placing the parts of the application for permission request letter written. Data collection techniques used direct techniques and indirect techniques. Data collection tool in this study used a test of an essay.The results of this study, the average value using thespelling 60. The average value using the word 86,25. The average value using the sentence 41,68. the average value compiling paragraphs 41,98. The average value places the lincense part 92,70. The ability of students to write permission in SMPN 3 Capkala Kabupaten Bengkayang district 2018/2019 academic year the average value of 66,291 category C. AbstractThis study aims to describe the moral values contained in the Folklore of the Origin of the Name Bukit Mansiri, Garu Village, Landak Regency, describe the results of the analysis in the Folklore of the Origin of the Name Bukit Mansiri and design a lesson plan for analyzing moral values in the Indonesian language learning process at the SMA/MA level. The method used is descriptive method in the form of qualitative research. The approach used is the sociology of literature approach. The data source of this research is the Folklore of the Origin of the Name Bukit Mansiri, Garu Village, Landak Regency. The data collection technique used in this research is the technique of observation, interview, recording, recording and data collection tools used are notebooks, pencils, HandPone (HP). The technique of testing the validity of the data uses observation persistence, triangulation and reference coverage. The results of this study are about the moral values contained in the Folklore of the Origin of the Name Bukit Mansiri, Garu Village, Landak Regency. The moral values contained in the Folklore of the Origin of the Name Bukit Mansiri are moral values seen from the relationship between humans and God, moral values are seen from human relationships with humans, and moral values are seen from human relationships with the natural surroundings. The implementation of the moral values contained in the Folklore of the Origin of the Name Bukit Mansiri, Garu Village, Landak Regency for learning Indonesian in terms of curriculum, learning objectives, selection of teaching materials, and in terms of legibility is appropriate as learning material for students in class X SMA/MA.Keywords: Folklore of the Origin of the Name Bukit Mansir, moral values, sociological approach to literature.

AbstractThis research aims to describe the character and support contained in the novel Si Anak Cahaya by Tere Liye, and to know the implementation of character and characterization in the learning process of Bahasa Indonesia high school /MA behavior. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative form of research. The approach used is a structural approach. The source of this research data is the novel The Child of Light by Tere Liye. The techniques and data collection tools used in this study are the study of documenters and researchers themselves. Data validity testing techniques use the persistence of observation, triangulation, and adequacy of references. The results of this study on the character and the support contained in the novel SI Anak Cahaya by Tere Liye on data analysis are carried out by determining the main character and the auxiliary figure as well as the supporting character and the auxiliary figure. The main characters in Tere Liye's novel "The Son of Light" are Nurmas and the auxiliary character Jamilah. The supporting character and supporting character in Tere Liye's novel "The Child of Light" is two ways of portraying the character analytically/directly and Dramatically/indirectly.Keyword : Character, Charaterization, Novel

AbstractResearchers are interested in examining official letters because there are still many language errors, especially in the use of spelling, word choices, and effective sentences. In addition, researchers are also interested because they want to show the truth of language in writing official letters, so that people do not view the letter only as a symbol or notification. The problem that is the object of research is as follows. Spelling in writing official letters, diction in writing official letters, effective sentences in writing official letters, and research applications on learning Indonesian in high school (SMA) at the Kiung Village Office. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a qualitative form of research, while the data in this study are written data about spelling errors, namely the use of spelling errors of official letters at the Kiung Village Office, Suti Semarang District, Bengkayang Regency. Analysis of Spelling Error Writing Letters found 15 errors in writing capital letters, Writing Letters and syllables 2 errors in writing capital letters, Writing Abbreviations and Abbreviations as many as 2 errors in writing capital letters, errors in punctuation errors in commas as many as 6 errors. AbstractThis research is focused on moral values which are reflected in the novel Si Anak Pemberani by Tere Liye. Theories used in this research were novel theory, moral values, and theory of literary learning implementation. The method in this research was descriptive, qualitative form, and sociology literature approach. Data in the form of sentences relating to the problem under research, namely moral values included moral values are reflected in the novel Si Anak Pemberani. The source of data in this research was the novel Si Anak Pemberani by Tere Liye. The technique used was documentary study technique. Data collection tool was the writer itself as the main instrument. The results of this study were: (1) Moral values seen from the relationship between humans and God included: (a) grateful for life, (b) worship. (2) Moral values seen from the relationship between humans and themselves included: (a) self-confidence, (b) responsibility, (c) self-extension, (d) honesty, (e) fear, (f) revenge, (g) simplicity, (h) longing. (3) Moral values seen from the relationship between humans and others included (a) mutual help, (b) mutual cooperation, (c) compassion (4) Moral values seen from the relationship between humans and nature included: (a) humans used the nature in good way, (b) responsibility for development, (c) how to love the preservation of the nature, (d) humans with friendly nature. Writer has designed a learning plan that used narrative texts in the literature learning in high school in accordance with Basic Competencies 3.9 and 4.9. AbstractPoetry’s literature is closely related to the daily’s life of society and cultural elements of society, especially the cultural elements of the author. The anthology of poets Konde Penyair Han and Benih Kayu Dewa Dapur was chosen as the research object because the poets has the basic of Chinese’s culture, that converges becomes Chinese’s mythology. The method in these research is descriptive qualitative terms. The approach that used is mythopoic. The data source in these research is the anthology of poets Konde Penyair Han and Benih Kayu Dewa Dapur by Hanna Fransisca, while the data is the form, function, and the meaning of the myths contained into the form of words, lines, and verses of the poetry. Based on the results of data analysis, concluded that (1) of the eight poems analyzed, the mythical form of the gods (supernatural creatures) is the most dominated form, (2) of the eight poems analyzed, only the poems “Cap Go Meh” and “Doa Sajak Vihara” which has no function to ensure the efficiency of the rite and provides the practical rules to guide peoples, and (3) the meaning of the myth is researcher's interpretation against the myths which contained in those poems based on four perspectives about those means, specifically for pengertian (sense), perasaan (feeling), nada (tone), and niat (intention).Keywords: mythology, mythopoic, poetryAbstractPoetry’s literature is closely related to the daily’s life of society and cultural elements of society, especially the cultural elements of the author.
