Abstract

This study aims to describe the results of the analysis of the psychology of the main character in the novel Trauma by Boy Candra. The research method used is descriptive in the form of qualitative research. The data source of this research is the novel Trauma by Boy Candra and the data is the psychology of the main character related to the id, ego, and superego in the form of words, phrases, sentences that lead to the object of analysis. Data collection techniques using documentary study techniques. The technique of testing the validity of the data is done by observing persistence, triangulation, and referential coverage. The results showed that the psychology of the main character from the id aspect includes smiling reflexes, imagining or imagining, seeking justification, ignoring prohibitions, leaving without permission, waking reflexes, crying sadly, damaging facilities, obeying invitations, saving oneself, falling asleep, daring to face problems, avoiding reality . The psychology of the main character from the ego aspect includes sublimation, thinking before acting, asking out of curiosity, diversion, giving explanations, unselfishness, repression, and being able to accept reality. The psychology of the main character from the aspect of the superego includes accepting punishment, apologizing, listening to parents' advice, saying goodbye, and being grateful. The materials researcher designed a lesson plan that used the novels Trauma by Boy Candra as a special lesson to achieve KD 3.9 and 4.9 for grade XII SMA.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and interpret the results of an analysis ofthe image of women in the novel Hilda by Muyassarotul Hafidzoh, aswell as to develop a lesson plan using the novel as learning material.This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative researchform. The approach used in this study is a feminist approach. Thesource of the data in this research is the novel Hilda by MuyassarotulHafidzoh. The techniques used in this study were stationery andlaptops. The results of this study indicate that women's self-imageincludes the physical image and the psychic image of women(psychic image in relation to God, psychic image in relation tooneself, and psychic image in relation to other people). The socialimage of women which includes the image of women in the familyand the image of women in society. Researchers have designed alesson plan that utilizes the Hilda novel by Muyassarotul Hafidzoh aslearning material, specifically to achieve KD 3.9 and 4.9 for class XIISMA.

Abstract

This study aims to see and describe the learning process starting from planning, implementation, to student learning outcomes on news text material in class VII of SMP Negeri 11 Sungai Raya in the 2023/2024 academic year. The method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative research form. The data sources of this research are Indonesian language teachers, students of class VIIA, and teaching modules as documents related to news text learning. The research data were obtained from the results of Teacher Performance Assessment Tools 1 and 2, students' learning outcomes, and the results of interviews with Indonesian language teachers. Observation, interview, and documentation as techniques in data collection using observation sheets, note sheets, and documentation tools. Data validity testing used observation persistence and triangulation techniques. Data analysis used data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The data in this study are in the form of assessment results on learning planning, learning implementation, and student learning outcomes. The results of this study indicate that the assessment of learning planning is 83,1 with a good category, the assessment of learning implementation is 80,1 with a good category, while the ability to write news texts by students with an average score of 92,7 with a very good category.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the emotions of the main character in the novel Everything That Sucks the Sky by Pinto Anugrah. This research uses descriptive methods and qualitative forms of research. The approach used is a literary psychology approach using David Krech's Perspective theory. The data source is a document in the form of a novel. The novel used is the novel Everything That Sucks the Sky by Pinto Anugrah. The technique carried out is a documentary study technique. The tools used are stationery and laptops. The results of this study show that the emotional analysis of Bungo Rabiah includes basic emotions, namely happy, angry, afraid, and sad. Emotions associated with sensory stimuli are pain, disgust, and pleasure. Emotions related to self-assessment are success, pride, shame, and regret. Emotions associated with others include love and hate. RPP has been designed by utilizing the novel Everything That Sucks the Sky by Pinto Anugrah as learning material, specifically to achieve KD 3.9 and 4.9 grade XII of high school.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the influence of positive and negative emotions on the main character"™s attitude and the implementation of this research in Indonesian language learning at school. The benefits of this research are divided into theoretical and practical benefits. The theory used in this research is B.F. Skinner's theory. This research used descriptive qualitative method and used behavioural psychology approach. The data source in this research is the novel Hello by Tere Liye with data in the form of quotes, phrases, sentences, and paragraphs. The data collection technique used documentary study technique. The data collection tool for this research is the researcher herself as the primary instrument. The results indicate that: (1) Positive emotions including joy, love, admiration, and pleasure affect the main character's attitude. (2) Negative emotions including anger, hate, sadness, fear, and anxiety affect the main character's attitude. (3) The novel Hello by Tere Liye can be used as a teaching module for Indonesian language subjects and as a learning material to achieve learning objectives in class XII SMA.

Abstract

Metode pembelajaran yang tepat menjadi salah satu kunci sukses dalam pembelajaran, metode TPR adalah salatu metode yang menerapkan gerak tubuh manusia yang dapat juga diistilahkan sebagai bahasa tubuh yang sangat cocok untuk pengajaran bahasa, terutama bahasa asing seperti bahasa mandarin yang dianggap sulit untuk dipahami, didalam penelitian ini penulis mempraktekkan metode Total Physical Response (TPR) didalam pengajaran untuk melihat keefektifan terhadap penguasaan perkembangan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Pada penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan Teknik pengambilan data secara observasi, Pre test dan Post test. Dan hasil yang didapatkan setelah menerapkan metode TPR ini adalah nilai mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan yang cukup signifikan yaitu sebesar 43% dari nilai rata-rata keseluruhan. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode TPR ini sangat cocok untuk digunakan pada pembelajaran bahasa khususnya bahasa mandarin dalam meningkatkan kemampuan dan penguasaan bahasa mandarin sekaligus sebagai motivasi siswa dalam belajar bahasa mandarin.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the value of character education in the stories of the Singkawang community through semiotic studies and implementation plans in school learning. The method used in the research is a qualitative descriptive method, Charles Sanders Peirce's Semiotoka approach. The data source is a collection of stories from the Singkawang Community, analysis data in the form of quotations which have an indication of the value of character education in the form of icons, indexes and symbols in the stories of the Singkawang Community in the story of Antu Panyago Umo which represents South Singkawang District, the story of the Legend of the Dragon Statue which represents West Singkawang District , the story of the Legend of Blue Lake which represents Central Singkawang District, the story of the Legend of Batu Belimbing Wasiat Negeri Mayolaka which represents East Singkawang District, as well as the story of the Mystery of Arung Raden which represents North Singkawang District and the results of research and stories of the Singkawang Community have the opportunity to be implemented in Indonesian language learning in high school classes X/ I on KD 3.7 and KD 4.7

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of learning to write on the ability to write review texts in class VIII students at MTs Ushuluddin Sungai Jaga A, Bengkayang Regency. The research method used is descriptive to describe the influence of learning to write on students' ability to write review texts, using the form of quantitative research. The research sample was 40 class VIII students at MTs Ushuluddin Sungai Jaga A, Bengkayang Regency, academic year 2023/2024. The data collection technique is a test technique in the form of essay questions. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistics. The results of this study show that there is an influence of learning to write on the ability to write review texts in class VIII students at MTs Ushuluddin Sungai Jaga A. There is an influence of learning to write simultaneously on the ability to write the structure of review texts by 0.000 below the predetermined significance level value of 0.05 , there is an influence of learning to write simultaneously on the use of aspects of linguistic rules of the review text of 0.000 below the predetermined significance level value, namely 0.05, there is an influence of learning to write simultaneously on the accuracy aspect of the content of the review text of 0.000 below the significance level value that has been determined determined to be 0.05, and the ability to write review texts for class VIII students at MTs Ushuluddin Sungai Jaga A, Bengkayang Regency. The average score in the structural aspect is 85,5, the average score in the linguistic rules aspect is 64,7, the average score in the content accuracy aspect is 73,3 and the average score in the ability to write review texts for class VIII students MTs Ushuluddin Sungai Jaga A Bengkayang Regency from these three aspects is 75 in the capable category.

Abstract

This research article aims to explore the ways in which the Chinese Crossbreed community in Indonesia adapts and maintains its cultural identity in the midst of globalization. By exploring the experiences and perspectives of the younger generation, we hope to gain insight into the challenges and opportunities they face in preserving their heritage through literature. The research utilizes a qualitative approach, incorporating interviews, literary analysis, and ethnographic methods to capture a comprehensive view of the community's cultural dynamics.  Through this article, the author seeks to explain the importance of the contribution of the Chinese community to Indonesia's rich cultural landscape and the importance of fostering intercultural understanding and unity within the nation. The findings aim to provide a nuanced understanding of how globalization influences cultural preservation and the strategies employed by the Chinese Crossbreed community to navigate their dual heritage in contemporary Indonesian society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan gaya bahasa pada kumpulan puisi Dikatakan Atau Tidak Dikatakan Itu Tetap Cinta karya Tere Liye. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah menginterpretasi dan mendeskripsikan penggunaan gaya bahasa personifikasi, metafora, anafora, hiperbola, simile, dan eufemisme, serta menganalisis makna simbolis, emotif, dan reflektif yang terkandung di dalamnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa personifikasi digunakan untuk menghidupkan unsur alam dan perasaan abstrak, menciptakan makna simbolis, emotif, dan reflektif yang mendalam. Metafora digunakan untuk menggambarkan perasaan manusia, terutama dilema cinta dan perenungan kehidupan. Anafora memperkuat tema cinta melalui pengulangan kata, sehingga menambah kedalaman pesan dan emosi. Hiperbola digunakan untuk mempertegas kesan emosional serta menggambarkan cinta yang penuh tantangan. Simile menampilkan konflik batin antara cinta dan kebencian, sedangkan eufemisme menghadirkan peristiwa besar seperti kehilangan dan perpisahan secara lebih halus, sehingga menciptakan suasana yang lebih tenang.
