Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted to know the emotions of the main character in novel Yorick by Kirana Kejora. The goal was to describe the positive and negative emotions towards the attitude of the main character as well as the implementation of this research in learning Indonesian Language in schools. The theory used in this research was B.F. Skinner theory. This research applied descriptive, qualitative, and psychological method. The data source in this study is novel Yorick by Kirana Kejora. In collecting the data, the researcher used documentary study technique. The tool of data collection used in thie research was the researcher herself as a key instrument. In conclusion, the results of the analysis were, (1) positive emotions influence the main character's attitude were 6 emotions of love, and 13 emotions of happiness. (2) Negative emotions influence the main character's attitude were 4 emotions of worry and anxiety, 4 emotions of fear, 5 emotions of anger, and 6 emotions of sadness. (3) Novel Yorick by Kirana Kejora can be used as teaching material in schools because there are values of struggle and moral messages to be applied in achieving ideals and a better future. Keywords: Logical, Main Character, Behavioral Psychology.

Abstract

Abstract This research is motivated by the desire to find the main character in the novel Kubah Karya Ahmad Tohari. A common problem in this research is "What is the character of the main character in the novel Kubah Karya Ahmad Tohari ?. This study uses descriptive methods, qualitative research forms, and uses behavioristic psychological approaches. Based on the results of data analysis it can be concluded that: 1) through the thoughts of the main characters in the novel Kubah Karya Ahmad Tohari can be found humble characters, steadfast, confused, friendly, gentle/compassionate, feeling, loving and jealous 2) through the behavior of characters in the novel Kubah Karya Ahmad Tohari can be found good-hearted, diligent, clever, and helper 3) through the reaction of the main character in the novel Kubah Karya Ahmad Tohari can be found in awe, patience, regret, doubt, rebellion, respect and fear. The results of this study can be implemented in learning Indonesian in high school, especially for students of class XII semester II. Keywords: Character, Main Figures, Novel

Abstract

 AbstractThe researcher aims to gain an overview of social values in the BH a collection of short stories by Emha Ainun Nadjib. Benefits of research that can be obtained from this research that is, theoretical benefits and practical benefits. Theories used in this research is, the theory of social value and short stories. Researchers use descriptive and qualitative methods.The approach used, the approach of the sociology of literary works. The data sources in this study relate to the social values associated with divinity, the social values associated with the individual, and the social values associated with the society depicted in words, phrases, and sentences in the of BH a collection of short stories by Emha Ainun Nadjib. Based on the results of research data on the of BH a collection of short stories by Emha Ainun Nadjib, it can be concluded that there are social values associated with divinity, the form of social value is to pray to God, believe in the Providence of God, and fear God. Social values associated with the individual, the form of social value is the value of responsibility, the value of honesty, the value of dedication, the value of tolerance, the value of consciousness, and the value of strong desire. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui struktur dan fungsi mantra pemanis dirik Masyarakat Melayu Kecamatan Kendawangan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan struktural semiotik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, maka dihasilkan simpulan sebagai berikut: rima yang terdapat dalam mantra pemanis dirik masyarakat Melayu Kecamatan Kendawangan Kabupaten Ketapang meliputi rima menurut bunyi; rima sempurna, rima tak sempurna, rima mutlak, rima terbuka, rima tertutup. Rima menurut letaknya; rima awal, rima tengah, rima akhir. Citraan yang terdapat dalam mantra pemanis dirik masyarakat Melayu Kecamatan Kendawangan Kabupaten Ketapang meliputi; citraan penglihatan, citraan pendengaran, citraan pengecapan. Makna yang terdapat dalam mantra pengobatan masyarakat Melayu meliputi; makna religious dan makna sosial. Implementasi hasil penelitian dalam pembelajaran yaitu dilihat dari aspek kurikulum KTSP, penulis menjadikan mantrapemanis dirik sebagai satu di antara pelajaran tambahan di SMA.   Kata Kunci : Struktur, Fungsi, Mantra Pemanis Dirik Abstract : Thepurpose of this study isto discover the structure of a spell in a spell sweetener self Malay Society Subdistrict Kendawangan.The method used in this research is descriptive method with qualitative forms. Based on the results of data analysis, it leads do conclusions as follows: there is a mantra in the sweetener self Malay community subdistrict Kendawangan Ketapang that covers; rhyme based on sound; perfect rhyme, inperfect rhyme, absolute rhyme, opened rhyme, closed rhyme. Rhyme by its order;beginning rhyme, middle rhyme, ending rhyme. The images contained in the mantra sweetener self Malay community subdistrict Kendawangan Ketapang include; the imagery of vision, images of hearing, imagery of tasting. The meaning contained in the Malay community treatment spells includes; the meaning of religious and social significance. The implementation ofthe results of the research in learning can be seen from the aspect of curriculum SBC, the author makes the spell sweetener self as one of the additional subjectin high school. Abstract

AbstractWriter’s background to observe the style of language is to find better understanding about the style of the language itself. The purpose of this research is to describe meanings and style of language of the lyrics in Lintasan Waktu album by Danilla Riyadi. The method in this research is using Descriptive Method, Qualitative Research Approach, and Library Research. Data in this research is style of language in the lyrics of Lintasan Waktu album by Danilla Riyadi. Data sources of this research is the entire songs in Lintasan Waktu album by Danilla Riyadi amount to 10 (ten) songs. The results of this research in observing the style of language in every-lyric of songs of Lintasan Waktu album by Danilla Riyadi, Writer founds that 8 (eight) styles of language according to scope of problem in this research that is rhetorical style of language are: Alliteration, Asyndeton, Polysyndeton,  Assonance, Litotes, Hyperbola; and Figurative style of language: Personification and Symploce. In this research, writer founds that 7 (seven) meanings contain in the lyrics of the songs of Lintasan Waktu album by Danilla Riyadi (Extension, Gereflecter, Grammatical, Non-referential, Cognitive, Figurative, and Pictorial). Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated by researchers’ concerns about oral literature that were almost extinct and forgotten by the community. The problem of this research was devoted to local wisdom which was reflected in the folklore of the Kapuas Hulu Malay community which was divided into four problems,  namely how local wisdom relates to belief systems, livelihood system, local norm, and the implementation of literary learning in schools. Based on these problems, the purpose of this study was to describe the belief system, livelihood system, and local norm reflected in the folklore of the Kapuas Hulu Malay community, as well as the implementation of learning in schools. There are eight foklore to be analyzed, namely Gumak dengan Adekia, Apang Aloi Beuma, Batu Lobor, Bunga Simpor, Apang Sekumang dan Apang Saji, Kenturon Antu Remaong, and Tok Paga dan Si Katamba.The result of this study was first: the belief system is divided into two, namely believing in superanatural things and believing in ghosts. Second: the livelihood system is divided into four namely farming (farmers), fishermen, hunting and gathring, and trading. third: local norm were divided into three, namely, local norm related to oneself, local norm that relate to humans and other human beings, and local norm that relate to humans and God. Abstract

AbstractAffixation of Dayak Kanayatn Languange in Papakatatn Barahu is a morphology research that studied affixation of Dayak Kanayatn Language in a translation of New Testament Bible into a local language. This research is created because the affixation process that appears in translation need to be studied, so that’s will produce a comprehensive translation into a local language as form of language process.The problem in this research is divided into three subproblems that include form, function, and meaning of affixes in Dayak Kanayatn language. The affixation of Dayak Kanayatn language is describe in qualitative research that used descriptive method. The technique that used in collecting data is document study technique. The data source in this research is Papakatatn Barahu, a translation of New Testament Bible into Dayak Kanayatn language. The result of the data analyzed in this research is found prefix, suffix, konfiks, and affix combination that has various form, function, and meaning. Dayak Kanayatn prefix in Papakatatn Barahu has eight kinds which is ba-, di-, ka-, ma-, pa-, pa-, sa-, and ta-. Dayak Kanayatn suffix in Papakatatn Barahu has four kinds which is -atn, -nya, -i', -atn. Dayak Kanayatn konfiks in Papakatatn Barahu has five kinds which is ba-atn, ka-atn, pa-atn, pa-atn, and sa-nya. Dayak Kanayatn combination affix in Papakatatn Barahu has eleven kinds which is ma-.-atn, ma-.-i’, ba-.-atn, ba-.-atn, di-.-atn, di-.-i', di-.-pa-, di-.-pa-atn, di-.-pa-i’, m-.-pa-atn, ta-.-atn. Abstract

AbstractThe research focused on form of structure and romanticsm in Kidung Kampung Berdebu short story colecction written by Saifun Arif Kojeh. The research work tried to find out structure of short story, romanticism, and implementation of the short story at school. The researc hopefully benefits school to give knowledge, develop research in prose, provide materials, and be reference for next research in prose to streghten research work in prose in West Kalimantan.The research eployed decriptive qualitative methodelogy using structuralism approach. The data was taken from text of in Kidung Kampung Berdebu short story collection, then was analysed based on the approach used. The research finding showed that most structure forms in the short story are love and friendship theme. The background are taken from daily activities. In addition, the characters tend to be protagonist, the plot is chronological, and the massage is related to social life. In aspect of romanticism, the story tends to describe environment, melancholy, primitivism shown by extreme metal state, sentimentality shown by anger and sarcasm, individuality shown by loneliness, and exoticism.Keywords:       Structure, Romanticsm, & Short Story

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research is about the conflicts experienced by the characters in the story line by presenting conflicts that arise within themselves and something that exists outside of themselves. The problem in this study is how internal and external conflict with the characters and the implementation of this research in learning Indonesian. The purpose of this study is to describe the internal and external conflicts in figures and the implementation of this research in learning Indonesian using the novel I am Sarahza by Hanum Salsabiela Rais and Rangga Almahendra. The benefits in this study are divided into two, namely theoretical benefits and practical benefits.The theory used in this research is the structure of novel builders, conflict, psychology in literary works, and literary learning in schools. Abstract

AbstractThis study examines the characters in the novel Mariposa by Luluk HF, and to describe character analytically, character dramatically; and thatis to decribe implementation of the results into the Indonesian intructions at school. The benefit of this study are devide into two categories: practical and theoritical. This psychological analysis study was conducted by referring to Albertine Minderop's theory. This study using descriptive methods and psychoanalysis approach. The data sources in this research is Mariposa novel, while the data are words, phrases and expressions. The data collection in this study uses documentary study technique. Data collections tool in this study is direct research as a key instrument. The analysis shows that 1) the analytic character of the Mariposa novel by Luluk HF. 2) Mariposa's dramatic character novel by Luluk HF. 3) The results are implemented into Indonesian language and art subject matter in basic competencies 3,9 and 4,9 from third grade in high school. Keywords: Character, Psychology, novel
