Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) agar kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik meningkat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dalam bentuk quasy experiment dan rancangannya randomized control group only design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII MTsN 2 Padang Pariaman tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Menggunakan teknik simple random sampling diperoleh kelas VIII.1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan model NHT dan VIII.7 sebagai kelas control dengan model pembelajaran Ekspositori. Berdasarkan hasil tes, diperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil tes yaitu kelas eksperimen 83,89 dan kelas kontrol 73,68. Berdasarkan uji-t dengan a = 0.05 pada selang kepercayaan 95% diperoleh  > = (2,97 > 1,67). Dengan demikian  ditolak dan  diterima, artinya kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik dengan model NHT lebih tinggi daripada kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik dengan model pembelajaran Ekspositori. Kesimpulannya penerapan model pembelajaran NHT dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis perserta didik.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) Mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan praktek dzikir al-ma’tsurat di SDIK Makkah Padang. 2) Mengetahui dampak penerapan praktek dzikir al-ma’tsurat terhadap karakter religius siswa. 3) Hambatan pelaksanaan praktek dzikir al-ma’tsurat dan solusi yang diupayakan SDIK Makkah Padang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dengan observasi, wawancara dan data yang diperoleh dari jurnal, buku. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Pelaksanaan praktek dzikir al-ma’tsurat yang dilakukan sudah baik karena dilakukan oleh seluruh siswa dan guru setiap pagi secara bersama-sama di hari Selasa dan Jum’at dan dilakukan di hari lain sebagai tugas yang harus dilakukan dirumah. 2) Dampak penerapan praktek dzikir al-ma’tsurat dapat dilihat dari guru yang merasakan karakter religius menjadi lebih baik. 3) Hambatan yang ada di dalam pelaksanaan praktek dzikir al-ma’tsurat adalah siswa yang berisik dan masih ada beberapa siswa yang tidak membacanya dirumah sehingga tidak merasakan perubahan pada siswa tersebut.

Abstract

Micro teaching and field experience practice are two fundamental things in the world of Private Islamic Religious Higher Education which has an education study program. The purpose of this study was to determine the planning of micro teaching and field experience practices in preparing professional teachers at Private Islamic Universities in Padang City. The type of research used is qualitative research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The data sources in this article consist of micro teaching lecturers, field experience practice committee, dean / chairman, head of the Islamic Education department, and lecturers who have been field supervisors at Private Islamic Religious Universities at Private Islamic Religious Universities in Padang City. In collecting data, researchers used observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results showed that Private Islamic Religious Colleges have made micro teaching planning which is assigned responsibility to micro teaching lecturers, the planning stages include formulating lecture objectives, designing learning experiences that students will receive, planning lecture materials, paying attention to the availability of supporting infrastructure, and planning the final assessment process, but still not done in accordance with the theoretical references. While the planning of field experience practice, the planning carried out by the field experience practice committee has been carried out in accordance with the theoretical reference.

Abstract

Time management has important benefits in the review of Islamic education, because it is important to set a priority scale so that all activities are truly allocated according to the time needed. In addition, minimizing all forms of possible obstacles that will arise in the implementation of Islamic education is also an effective strategy in managing time. In essence, the arrangement of time in such a way in learning in Islamic education according to existing programs and activities can facilitate efforts to achieve goals optimally. This study uses library research. Library research is a literature study conducted using relevant and available reading sources, which are related to the topics discussed in the study. The results of this study are Time Management, so it can be concluded that time management is the ability to use time effectively and efficiently to obtain maximum benefits. The principles of time management in Islamic Education are; (1) prioritizing important tasks; (2) making plans and schedules properly; (3) managing time wisely; and (4) building positive habits. The urgency or importance of time management at Madrasah Ibtida`iyah Nagari Lakitan Tengah, West Sumatra is; (1) time management helps achieve goals; (2) time management helps students and teachers be more organized; and (3) good time management helps to make the heart calmer and better. In conclusion, the importance of time management at Madrasah Ibtida'iyah Nagari Lakitan Tengah, West Sumatra, with good time management a good learning atmosphere will be created, good learning conditions will create high teaching motivation which will ultimately reflect a teacher who is able to carry out learning professionally.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana nilai-nilai karakter pada program didikan subuh di Taman Pendidikan Qur’an (TPQ) kota Padang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field research) yang bercorak kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data dalam  penelitian ini adalah Kepala dan guru TPQ di Kota Padang. Dalam pengumpulan data penulis menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapat bahwa kegiatan didikan subuh (DDS) sangat penting dalam upaya penanaman nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter pada anak-anak, hal ini dapat dilihat pada hasilnya yang memunculkan karakter beriman, beramal saleh, dan disiplin pada diri anak-anak. Karakter beriman yang ditanamkan melalui program didikan subuh adalah bagaimana seorang anak mengesakan dan mengagungkan Allah. Yang mana aplikasinya adalah ketika anak melantunkan azan, membaca Al-Qur’an dan sebagainya. Didikan subuh juga mendidik anak-anak supaya memakmurkan dan mencintai Masjid. Dengan acara didikan subuh menjadikan anak-anak terbiasa dan akrab dengan sesuatu yang berbau agama. Program didikan Subuh dapat menumbuhkan dan melatih karakter disiplin anak. Anak-anak yang berkarakter disiplin tidak akan datang terlambat dalam mengikuti kegiatan didikan subuh, ia akan datang sebelum acara dimulai dan bahkan ia ikut serta mendirikan shalat subuh berjamaah. Karakter displin yang tertanam melalui program didikan subuh tidak hanya dilihat dari kehadirannya mengikuti kegiatan, tetapi juga bagaimana anak itu disiplin dalam hal berpakaian.

Abstract

The ability of students in this school is low in understanding the questions given by the teacher. As a result they find it difficult to know the steps on how to solve the problem. Efforts that can be done are implementing Polya's steps.Quasi-experimental research was conducted in this study with the Randomized Control Group Only Design. Students of class VIII at this school are used as population. The experimental class is class VIIIA and the control class is class VIIIB. Final test data in the form of essays obtained were analyzed by t test. The result is the average problem solving ability with the application of Polya's steps, 78.23 and the control class, 72.38, with achievement in the experimental class 81% and in the control class, 48%. After being analyzed, t_count = 2.33 and t_table = 1.68 with a confidence level of 95% so that t_count > t_table (2.33 > 1.68), meaning that the proposed hypothesis is accepted and the ability of students in solving problems using Polya steps is higher rather than without applying these steps.

Abstract

This study analyzes the conceptual and practical tensions between government formal policies and the informal character of pesantren in the transformation of Islamic education in Indonesia. Although Law No. 18 of 2019 provides formal legitimacy for pesantren, the relationship between the government and pesantren does not operate linearly. Formalization through standardized curricula, accreditation, competency certification, and administrative obligations has created new dynamics within pesantren, which were previously based on non-bureaucratic traditions such as sorogan, bandongan, and halaqah. Many pesantren respond to these policies through adaptive strategies: accepting certain aspects of formalization to gain legitimacy and funding, while maintaining informal structures as the core of their identity. This research employs a qualitative approach, including document analysis, in-depth interviews, and participatory observation in both salafiyah and khalafiyah pesantren. The findings indicate that the formalization-informalization dilemma is a dialectical process involving adaptation, resistance, and compromise. The study underscores that the sustainability of pesantren depends on their ability to develop a hybrid education model that accommodates the demands of modernity without compromising foundational traditions.

Abstract

The flash floods that hit Padang City at the end of November 2025 not only caused physical damage, but also affected the psychological and social conditions of the community. This study aims to analyze the role of religious values in helping communities face and recover from the disaster. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation in areas affected by flash floods. Informants included affected communities, religious leaders, volunteers, and disaster management agencies. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model, including data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that religious values played a significant role in three main aspects. First, religious values provide a framework of meaning for society in interpreting disasters as tests, destiny, or means of self-improvement, thereby helping to stabilize psychological conditions. Second, religious values encourage positive religious coping strategies such as prayer, trust in God, and collective worship activities that strengthen calm and hope. Third, religious values strengthen individual and community resilience through social solidarity, mutual cooperation, and spiritual support from religious institutions. These findings indicate that religious values play a strategic role in post-disaster recovery and can form the basis for developing faith-based psychosocial support programs.

Abstract

Di tengah arus disrupsi pendidikan dan tuntutan pragmatisme pasar yang mendesak pesantren untuk melakukan sekularisasi kurikulum, Madrasah Tarbiyah Islamiyah (MTI) Batang Kabung menampilkan bentuk resistensi yang unik. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis strategi resiliensi MTI Batang Kabung dalam mempertahankan tradisi tafaqquh fiddin melalui manajemen kurikulum yang distingtif. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui analisis dokumen jadwal pembelajaran (roster), observasi partisipan, serta wawancara mendalam dengan Pimpinan Pondok (Buya) dan Kepala Madrasah pada jenjang Tsanawiyah (MTs) maupun Aliyah (MA). Temuan penelitian mengungkap praktik Politik Alokasi Waktu yang disebut sebagai tradisi Mangaji Pagi. Secara struktural, institusi mengalokasikan waktu emas kognitif (golden time) pukul 07.00–09.30 WIB khusus untuk mata pelajaran turats (Nahwu, Sharaf, Fiqh, Tafsir), sementara mata pelajaran umum ditempatkan pada sesi siang. Strategi ini diterapkan secara isomorfis (seragam) dari jenjang MTs hingga MA. Konsistensi pada jenjang Aliyah, meski dihadapkan pada tekanan seleksi perguruan tinggi yang menunjukkan kuatnya ideologi institusi dalam menempatkan ilmu agama (Fardhu ‘Ain) pada hirarki epistemologi tertinggi dibanding ilmu umum (Fardhu Kifayah). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa MTI Batang Kabung melakukan akomodasi selektif: menerima modernitas secara administratif namun mempertahankan kedaulatan tradisi secara substansial melalui penguasaan struktur waktu

Abstract

This study evaluates the ability of mathematics lecturers in Indonesian universities to use TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge). It uses a Sequential Explanatory research method that integrates quantitative and qualitative approaches. The findings indicate that overall, the TPACK skills of mathematics lecturers in Indonesia are at a very good level (85,6%). The questionnaire data showed that the aspects of gender, length of teaching, and level of education had average scores of 85.2%, 85.5%, and 86.1%, respectively. Students' responses to lecturers' TPACK were also high, with an average questionnaire score of 85.1%. Further analysis showed no significant difference in the TPACK ability of mathematics lecturers based on gender, years of teaching, or level of education. However, partial analysis showed that female lecturers' CK and PK components were superior to male lecturers. This indicates a significant effect of gender partially on lecturers' TPACK. At the same time, the length of teaching and level of education does not have a significant impact either partially or jointly on the TPACK ability of mathematics lecturers in Indonesia. This study provides in-depth insights into the factors that influence the TPACK of mathematics lecturers, with important implications for professional development and improving the quality of learning in the Indonesian higher education context
