Abstract

Student skills should be able to be trained and developed during the learning process, especially generic skills. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of team-based learning on the generic abilities of accounting students at Medan State University. The population in this study were accounting education program students totaling 96 students from class of 2015 and 107 students from class of 2015. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. The validity, reliability, and classic assumption testing are employed before conducting hypothesis testing using a two samples t-test for difference of means. The results showed that there was an effect of the application of the Team-Based Learning (TBL) learning model on generic abilities in Accounting Education students. Keywords: Team Based Learning, Generic Capabilities, Accounting Students, Universitas Negeri Medan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar 33 siswa di kelas XI AKL 3 SMKN 1 Pematangsiantar dengan penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan metode inkuiri terbimbing. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dalam dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah lembar pengamatan keaktifan dan tes hasil belajar. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Melalui lembar observasi keaktifan, membuktikan di siklus I, 14 siswa (42,4%) berada dalam kategori aktif dan sangat aktif. Pada siklus II, siswa dalam kategori sangat aktif dan aktif meningkat menjadi 30 siswa (90,9%), dan telah mencapai indikator keberhasilan ?75%. Melalui analisis data tes hasil belajar, skor rata-rata pre-test yaitu 56,42 dimana 8 siswa tuntas (24,24%). Skor rata-rata post-test siklus I yaitu 70,39, dimana 15 siswa tuntas (45,45%) meningkat di post-test siklus II dengan rata-rata 86,64 dimana 33 siswa tuntas (100%), dan telah mencapai indikator keberhasilan ?80%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, disimpulkan bahwa keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa dapat meningkat melalui penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan metode inkuiri terbimbing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI AKL SMK Dwitunggal 1 yang berjumlah 33 orang siswa dengan menggunakan model STAD berbantuan LKPD. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi aktivitas belajar dan tes hasil belajar, yang dianalisis menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil observasi menunjukkan peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa dari 39,40% meningkat menjadi 87,88%. Capaian tersebut menggambarkan bahwa aktivitas belajar siswa menjadi lebih baik pasca‐tindakan dibandingkan dengan pra-tindakan. Selain itu pada hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan hingga mencapai ketuntasan 100%. Kemudian capaian hasil belajar pada ranah afektif (87,88%) dan psikomotorik (84,85%) juga menunjukkan peningkatan yang positif dan telah memenuhi batas ketuntasan secara klasikal. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model STAD berbantuan LKPD efektif dalam meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI AKL SMK Dwitunggal 1.

Abstract

This study overcomes the problem of low activity and learning outcomes of students in class XI AKL 1 SMK N 1 Sidikalang, consisting of 36 students. This study aims to improve activity and learning outcomes by using the Contextual Teaching and Learning model. Data were collected through activity observation sheets and learning outcomes tests, then analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. 1) In cycle I, the first meeting showed an average of 27.77% active activities, then in cycle II, it increased with an average of 77.77% active activities. 2) The average pre-test score was 72.77% with 17 students (47.22%) complete, post-test cycle I 75% with 19 students (52.77%) complete, and post-test cycle II 85.27% with 32 students (88.88%) complete, meeting the success indicator ≥85%. In conclusion, the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning model succeeded in improving student learning activities and outcomes.

Abstract

The ongoing community service program has not provided optimal and sustainable outcomes that can improve the creative economy sector as a partner, especially in the era of technological disruption. This study describes the importance of setting up a creative economy clinic at the university, which is based on the needs of upscaling local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs’) performance. The discussions presented in the paper arise from a qualitative conceptual study using an instrumental case study approach, linking insights from theoretical perspectives and works across disciplines that concern the development of a creative economy clinic. The results of the discussion highlight the potential outcomes of establishing an on-campus creative economy clinic, ensuring the business sustainability of MSMEs in the era of disruptive technology. An initial assessment related to the needs of MSMEs is required as a strategic step in the development of the ecosystem of related creative economy clinics using each university’s competitive advantage.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning motivation of students in accounting subjects. The study aims to develop Android-based learning media using MIT App Inventor that is feasible, practical, effective, and can improve learning motivation of grade XI AKL students at SMK Negeri 1 Medan. This development research used the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) and involved 32 students of class XI AKL 1 in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. The media was validated by material experts (98%), media experts (90%), and practitioner experts (95%). Student responses showed the media was effective (82%). Motivation improvement was proven through a t-test, with t-count = 29.149 > t-table = 2.0395 and Sig. = 0.000 < 0.05. The developed media includes interactive content accessible via Android, facilitating independent and engaging learning. The results confirm that the Android-based learning media assisted by MIT App Inventor is feasible, effective, and significantly increases students' motivation in learning financial accounting, particularly on fixed asset material

Abstract

Desa Perkebunan PT. Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) IV Ajamu merupakan salah satu desa yang terletak di wilayah Kecamatan Panai Hulu, Kabupaten Labuhan Batu, Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Desa tersebut merupakan sentra operasional perkebunan dan produksi olahan utama kelapa sawit yakni Crude Palm Oil (CPO) dari PTPN IV. TK PAUD Parmadi Siwi merupakan lembaga pendidikan formal binaan PTPN dan difasilitasi oleh PTPN. Fasilitas yang tersedia di TK PAUD Parmadi Siwi tidak dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal oleh guru karena rendahnya kompetensi pemanfaatan teknologi informasi guru TK PAUD Parmadi Siwi. Peserta didik di TK PAUD Parmadi Siwi memerlukan edukasi literasi keuangan melihat dari pendapatan masyarakat Desa PTPN IV Ajamu yang relatif stabil namun anak usia dini tidak diberikan edukasi mengenai literasi keuangan. Pelatihan pembuatan rapot menggunakan excel dan edukasi literasi keuangan menggunakan busy book menjadi solusi dari permasalahan yang ada di Desa PTPN IV Ajamu. Kegiatan dilakukan pada hari yang berbeda. Hasil dari kegiatan adalah peningkatan kompetensi guru terhadap pemanfaatan teknologi dan peserta didik yang mulai memahami tentang literasi keuangan sehingga dapat menggunakan uang dengan bijak. Saran untuk kedepannya adalah pemantauan dari pemerintah desa untuk program ini agar terus berdampak positif bagi guru dan peserta didik TK Parmadi Siwi.

Abstract

Kegiatan peringatan Hari Ulang Tahun (HUT) ke-80 Republik Indonesia di Desa Kutomulyo, Kecamatan Biru-biru, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, selama ini lebih didominasi oleh lomba-lomba fisik dan hiburan umum sehingga muatan sastra dan literasi belum tergarap secara optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian kepadamasyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan budaya literasi dan apresiasi sastra Indonesia melalui pementasan drama bertema kemerdekaan yang melibatkan masyarakat Desa Kutomulyo. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi: (1) observasi dan analisis kebutuhan; (2) sosialisasi program kepada perangkat desa dan warga; (3) rekrutmen dan pembinaan peserta drama; (4) pelatihan dasar seni peran, pembacaan naskah, serta penghayatan tokoh; (5) latihan intensif pementasan; dan (6) pementasan drama pada puncak peringatan 17 Agustus, disertai evaluasi melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket sederhana. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi, baik sebagai pemain maupun penonton. Peserta yang terlibat mengalami peningkatan kepercayaan diri, kemampuan berbahasa, serta pemahaman terhadap teks drama dan nilai-nilai kemerdekaan. Masyarakat juga menjadi lebih familiar dengan karya sastra berupa naskah drama dan mulai menyadari pentingnya kegiatan literasi sebagai bagian dari perayaan hari besar nasional. Dengan demikian, pementasan drama kemerdekaan terbukti dapat menjadi salah satu strategi efektif untuk menumbuhkan budaya literasi dan apresiasi sastra Indonesia di lingkungan masyarakat desa.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an android-based e-LKPD assisted by liveworksheet for basic accounting subjects at SMKN 1 Medan using the 4D development model (Define,Design, Develop, Disseminate) and the research & Development (R&D) BSNP standards, assess its practicality thorough responses from accounting teachers and students, and measure the product’s effectiveness tho]rough post-test results. The research process began with a needs analysis conducted through interviews with accounting teachers and distributing questionnaires to students. Subsequently, a draft of the e-LKPD was designed and validated by material and media experts. The validity test results showed that content feasibility scored 92,3%, presentation feasibility 95%, language feasibility 96%, and media feasibility 94%, all categorized as very valid. The practicality test revealed teacher responses regarding interest and language at 91,6%, with language feasibility at 83,3%. Meanwhile, student responses include interest at 82,6% material at 80,5%, and language at 82,9%, all classified as very practical. The effectiveness test through post-test results showed a student pass rate 85,7%, categorized as very good.Based on these findings, the android-based e-LKPD assisted by liveworksheet is declared feasible, practical, and effective for use in basic accounting learning at SMKN 1 Medan.

Abstract

This study analyzes the Effect of the Implementation of Sustainability Reporting and Corporate Social Responsibility on Financial Performance with Corporate Governance as an Intervening Variable in Infrastructure Sector Companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2021-2024. The research sample is infrastructure companies listed on the IDX for the 2021-2024 period, totaling 45 companies with 180 observations. The data analysis technique uses panel data regression equations with path analysis. This study obtains several empirical evidences, namely, first, sustainability reporting directly has a negative and significant effect on financial performance. Second, corporate social responsibility directly provides a positive and significant influence on financial performance. This result can be interpreted based on stakeholder theory that companies that pay attention to CSR disclosure and already have corporate social responsibility reporting standards can increase stakeholder trust. Third, corporate governance does not moderate the relationship between sustainability reporting and financial performance. A large percentage of management ownership, and it is estimated that there will be an increase in management performance by creating innovation, new ideas obtained from employee resource skills and knowledge, and managerial ownership follows its control rights more than alignment of interests. Fourth, corporate governance moderates the influence of corporate social responsibility on financial performance. The results of this study are based on resource-based theory, that the existence of concern for the environment owned by the company is supported by the company's good intellectual ability, proving that the company is able to manage its intellectual resources effectively and efficiently, and indicates increasingly high financial performance and gets a positive response from investors.
