Abstract

Social studies learning process has not been implemented optimally. The application of the Outbound variation of the Outdoor Learning method as a solution to this problem . The instrument used was an observation sheet for student creativity and collaboration. The implementation of learning using an outdoor learning strategy with outbound variations is carried out optimally with very good criteria. The application of this method is carried out by inviting students to study outside the classroom (out door learning) to increase student creativity and collaboration in a pleasant learning atmosphere. The outdoor learning approach (outdoor learning) of outbound variations for children is very useful, it is a learning program (training) for children carried out in the open based on the principle of "experimental learning" (learning through direct experience) which is presented in the form of games, stimulus, discussion and adventure as a medium for delivering material. This outbound learning aims to overcome the problems of children who lack motivation in learning activities, improve children's self-competence, develop abilities and creative ideas. The 21st century learning model includes: first, learning is directed at encouraging students to find out from various sources, not being told. Second, learning is directed to be able to formulate problems or ask questions, not just solve problems or answer. Third, learning is directed at training analytical thinking, as in the case of the decision-making process, not mechanistic and routine thinking. Fourth, learning emphasizes the importance of cooperation and collaboration in solving problems.

Learning in the 21st century must emphasize collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, and communication. Students must develop critical thinking and strong interpersonal communication skills to succeed in an increasingly fluid, interconnected and complex world. With so much information available online, teachers are now more facilitators of learning than the source of all knowledge. Teachers can ask questions, provide research tools and methods, and provide material and topic guides for problem solving. The use of technology in learning is absolutely controlled by a teacher to welcome change and learning in the 21st Century. The use of the Mind Mapping learning model using the Canva Application will be one solution to make learning more interesting and meaningful which in the end the learning objectives can be achieved optimally.

Abstract

Natural disasters are natural occurrences that have an impact on the environment, which can be in the form of damage, causing casualties, loss of property, damage to infrastructure and life facilities and infrastructure. Avalancheor often called ground movement is an event geology that happens because of the movement of the masses rock or soil with various types and types such as falling rocks or large lumps of soil. In general, there are two factors that can cause landslides, namely driving factors and triggering factors. Driving factors are factors that influence the condition of the material itself, while trigger factors are factors that cause the movement of the material. However, the main cause is gravity which affects a steep slope, but there are other factors that trigger it. Indonesia is located on the three main plates of the world, namely the Pacific, Australian and Eurasian plates which cause Indonesia to experience frequent disasters. In addition, Indonesia is geomorphologically a country that has a complete land form. Starting from mountains, slopes, savanna, marine or coastal areas. Diverse topography and land use change will be one of the causes of landslides. Various topographical conditions and the many different land functions that occur in Indonesia are one of the factors causing landslides, so knowledge of landslide disaster mitigation in landslide-prone areas is absolutely necessary to realize disaster preparedness, namely to reduce losses and casualties due to disasters. This can be done in three stages, namely before a landslide disaster occurs, during a landslide disaster and after a landslide disaster occurs. Hence, knowledge of landslide disaster mitigation in landslide-prone areas is absolutely necessary to realize disaster preparedness, namely to reduce losses and casualties due to disasters.
