Abstract

This study aims to investigate teacher’s attempts to build student’s characters, the integration of character education into social learning, and supporting and hindering factors in the process of building student’s characters. This study employed the qualitative descriptive method involving a variety of procedures. The result in the classrooms are conducted, first, by integrating character education into social science learning. The methods that have effects on learning are the lecturing and disccutions methods, because  the students ore motivated by a variety of medhods. Meanwhile, the programs outside the classrooms are conducted throught a variety of activities, such as intracurricular and extracurricular activities.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya guru dalam pembentukan karakter siswa, bagaimana mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran IPS, dan melihat faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam proses pembentukan karakter siswa. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, deskriptif dengan berbagai macam prosedur. Hasil penelitian ini adalah guru mengupayakan pembentukan karater siswa, dengan melakukan berbagai macam program antara lain diadakan oleh kepala sekolah kepada guru, oleh guru kepada siswa. Metode yang berpengaruh dalam pembelajaran tersebut adalah ceramah dan diskusi, karena dengan metode yang bervariasi siswa termotivasi sedangkan diluar kelas dilakukan dengan berbagai macam program antara lain kegiatan intrakurikuler dan ektrakurikuler.Kata kunci: integrasi, karakter, nilai moral

Abstract

This research aims to describe the efforts to instill the values of entrepreneurship  using the approach of Value Clarification Technique and to describe increase in the entrepreneurial learning outcome using the approach Value Clarification Technique. The method used in this study is classroom action research, which consists of three cycles include planning, implementation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used tests  to asses cognitive aspect and observation to aspect entrepreneurial values. The research result showed that there was an increase on: (1) students values of entrepreneurship, the indicator reached the third cycle; (2) student learning result. The second cycle of the indicator has been reached and third cycles of increasing and has reached  ≥75%.Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya menanamkan nilai-nilai kewirausahaan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Value Clarification Technique dan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar kewirausahaan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Value Clarification Technique. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang terdiri dari tiga siklus, setiap siklus meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes untuk menilai aspek kognitif dan observasi untuk aspek afektif nilai-nilai kewirausahaan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada: (1) nilai-nilai kewirausahaan siswa, indikator tercapai pada siklus ketiga; (2) hasil belajar siswa siklus kedua indikatornya sudah tercapai selanjutnya siklus tiga semakin meningkat dan  mencapai ≥75%.Kata kunci : kewirausahaan, nilai-nilai, value clarification technique

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the implementation of learning by applying the model of discovery learning that used reflika can enhance critical thinking and nationalism. This study used classroom action research with three cycles through the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results showed that the application of discovery learning models using reflika has provided a significant increase, from critical thinking test results in cycle 1 achieve mastery 51.35%, cycle 2 achieve mastery 70.27% and third cycle achieve mastery 91.89 %, the students' attitude towards nationalism also increased, from the observation of the first cycle achieve mastery 48.65%, cycle 2 achieve mastery 70.27%, and 3 cycles achieve mastery 89.19%, and the application of the model by using reflika discovery learning can enhance critical thinking and attitudes towards nationalism.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model discovery learning yang menggunakan reflika dapat meningkatkan berpikir kritis dan sikap nasionalisme. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tiga siklus melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model discovery learning dengan menggunakan reflika telah memberikan peningkatan yang berarti, dari hasil tes berpikir kritis pada siklus 1 mencapai ketuntasan 51,35%, siklus 2 mencapai ketuntasan 70,27% dan siklus 3 mencapai ketuntasan 91,89%, sikap siswa terhadap nasionalisme juga mengalami peningkatan, dari hasil observasi pada siklus 1 mencapai ketuntasan 48,65%, siklus 2 mencapai ketuntasan 70,27%, dan siklus 3 mencapai ketuntasan 89,19%, and penerapan model discovery learning dengan menggunakan reflika dapat meningkatkan berpikir kritis dan sikap terhadap nasionalisme.Kata kunci: berpikir kritis, discovery learning, reflika, sikap nasionalisme

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop 3D Puzzle media on Civics Subjects at MA Karang Karang NU. This research was conducted using the research and development model and ASSURE development design which described the results of the development of 3D Puzzle media on Civics learning to foster democratic values in class X MA NU Tanjung Karang students based on the results of the trial. The results obtained from this research are the development of learning media in the form of 3D puzzles in Civics learning at MA NU Tanjung Karang  so that they effectively produce learning conditions that are interactive, inspiring, fun, challenging and motivating. In addition, it can foster democratic values such as freedom, equality, solidarity, tolerance, respect for honesty, and civilization.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media Puzzle 3D pada Mata Pelajaran PKn di MA NU Tanjung Karang.  Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan model penelitian dan pengembangan serta desain pengembangan ASSURE yang akan mendeskripsikan hasil dari pengembangan media Puzzle 3D pada pembelajaran PKn untuk menumbuhkan nilai-nilai demokrasi pada peserta didik kelas X MA NU Tanjung Karang berdasarkan hasil uji coba. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu pengembangan media pembelajaran berupa Puzzle 3D pada pembelajaran PKn di MA NU Tanjung Karang untuk menumbuhkan nilai-nilai demokrasi peserta didik sehingga efektif menghasilkan kondisi pembelajaran yang interaktif, inspiratif, menyenangkan, menantang, memotivasi peserta didik. Selain itu, dapat menumbuhkan nilai-nilai demokrasi seperti kebebasan, persamaan, solidaritas, toleransi, menghormati kejujuran, dan keadaban.Kata kunci: pengembangan media, puzzle 3D, pembelajaran PKn, nilai demokrasi

Abstract

This quasi experimental research aimed to know the interactions between learning models and initial abilities. The mean differences of concept masteries and work sheets with initial ability, learning model that is more effective beetwen make a match and students worksheet in improving accounting concept. Technique used was Cluster Sampling Technique. Pre test determined groups of initial abilities, and post test of concept mastery of accounting improvement. The results interactions between learning models and initial abilities indicate 0.002 0.05, h0 is rejected; Mean high initial abilities concept masteries indicate 0,009 0,05 h0 is rejected, midle 0,564 0,05 H0 be accepted, low 0,006 0,05 h0 is rejected. Make a match is more effective. The conclusion improvement of accounting concept mastery with make a match learning is higher for high and low initial ability, while in the work sheet improvement is higher in the middle initial ability.Penelitian quasi eksperimen bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi model pembelajaran dengan kemampuan awal; perbedaan mean penguasaan konsep make a match dan LKS dengan kemampuan awal; model pembelajaran yang lebih efektif antara make a match dan LKS dalam meningkatkan penguasaan konsep akuntansi. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah Teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Pre test menentukan kelompok kemampuan awal, post test peningkatan penguasaan konsep. Hasil interaksi antar model pembelajaran kemampuan awal 0,002 0,05, H0 ditolak. Mean penguasaan konsep antar model kemampuan awal tinggi 0,009 0,05 H0 ditolak, sedang 0,564 0,05 H0 diterima, rendah 0,006 0,05 H0 ditolak. Make a match lebih efektif. Disimpulkan tanpa memperhatikan kemampuan awal, peningkatan penguasaan konsep make a match lebih tinggi dari LKS. Memperhatikan kemampuan awal, peningkatan penguasaan konsep make a match lebih tinggi kemampuan tinggi dan rendah, LKS lebih tinggi kemampuan sedang.Kata kunci: lks, make a match, penguasaan konsep

Abstract

The background of research and development based from difficulty faced by the student grade VII to understanding the variety of earth superficies chapter. The aim of this research are to obtain multimedia interactive as one of learning media in studying social studies, to analysis benefit of effectiveness the development multimedia interactive and to analysis perception from the learners and teachers towards multimedia interactive applied to learning social studies. Research and cultivation based on RD Borg and Gall. This result has been evaluated by material subject proficient, multimedia proficient, the teacher as practitioner and three students. Result data from that evaluation have analyzed descriptively. Whereas how to know of effectiveness this product are by pre-testpost-test experiment model. Data from pre-testpost-test above then have analyzed through ratio gain normalized and test result. Result from this research and development are the appraisal from the proficient for development result multimedia interactive can be used in the learning process of social studies, social studies learning using interactive multimedia more effective than conventional learning, feedback from the teacher and student to developed interactive multimedia can help and facilitate the understanding of concepts in the variety of earth superficies chapter.Keywords : multimedia, interactive, earth, diversity.

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to internalize life skills education through the learning cycle model which can improve students learning outcomes in civics lesson dan apply learning through the learning cycle model for improving students learning outcomes in civics. The research was using classroom action research. Data was analyzed by using descriptive analysis techniques to know the effectiveness of learning through efforts to internalize life skills education as the learning cycle model. Life skills that are the object of this research is focused on personal skills, which are self awareness skills and thinking skills, also social skills which is consist of communication skills and the ability to work together. The results of this research were needs development of internalize life skills education through learning cycle model to increase affective, cognitive, and psychomotor skill of students and learning by internalize life skills education through the learning cycle model can improve learning outcomes of students, so it is effectively used.Penelitian ini bertujuan menginternalisasi pendidikan kecakapan hidup melalui learning cycle model yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran PPKn dan mengaplikasikan pembelajaran melalui learning cycle model untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar pada pembelajaran PPKn. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif untuk mengetahui efektifitas pembelajaran melalui learning cycle model sebagai upaya menginternalisasi pendidikan kecakapan hidup. Kecakapan hidup yang menjadi objek penelitian ini difokuskan kepada kecakapan personal yang terdiri atas kecakapan mengenal diri dan kecakapan berfikir serta kecakapan sosial yang terdiri atas kecakapan berkomunikasi dan kecakapan bekerja sama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa membutuhkan pembelajaran menggunakan learning cycle model untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor peserta didik dan pembelajaran dengan cara menginternalisasi pendidikan kecakapan hidup melalui learning cycle model dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik, sehingga sangat efektif digunakan.Kata kunci: learning cycle, life skill, pendidikan kecakapan hidup

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the differences of learning activity for students by using a model of snake-ladder game and card question, analyze the differences of learning outcomes for students by using a model of snake-ladder game and card question, analyze the increasing of learning outcomes which learning was using models of snake-ladder game and card question compared to talkingsticks learning model. This study used quantitative approach with experimental methods that researchers can divide an existing group without distinguishing between control and experimental. The results of this study concluded that there was a difference in learning activity of civic education by using a model of snake-ladder game and card question. There was a learning outcomes difference of civic education by using a model of snake-ladder game and card question. There was an increasing of learning outcomes which learning was using snake-ladder game and card question models than talkingsticks learning model.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan aktivitas belajar PKN yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model permainan ular tangga dan kartu soal. Menganalisis perbedaan hasil belajar PKN yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model permainan ular tangga dan katu soal. Menganalisis peningkatan hasil belajar yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model permainan ular tangga dan kartu soal dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran talkingstick. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan aktivitas belajar PKN yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model permainan ular tangga dan kartu soal dengan talkingstick. Ada perbedaan hasil belajar PKN yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model permainan ular tangga dan kartu soal dengan talkingstick. Ada peningkatan hasil belajar yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model permainan ular tangga dan kartu soal daripada model pembelajaran talkingstick.Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, hasil belajar, kartu soal, ular tangga

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the correlation between career perceptions, discipline, work motivation of social science and citizenship teachers towards teachers performance. The method used in this research was analytical quantitative with correlation associative. The result of this research stated that: (1) there is a significant correlation between career perception towards teachers performance with partial correlation coefficient of 0.282%; (2) there is a significant correlation between work discipline towards teachers performance with partial correlation coefficient of 0.381%; (3) there is a significant correlation between work motivation towards teachers performance with partial correlation coefficient of 0.538%; (4) there is a significant correlation between perceptions of career, work discipline, and work motivation towards teachers performance with multiple correlation coefficient of 0.545% with a positive correlation. Thus, the better the perception of careers, work discipline, and work motivation towards teachers performance, then the better it will be.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan persepsi karir terhadap kinerja guru, motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru IPS dan PKn. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif menggunakan cara analitik, yaitu dengan assosiatif korelasi. Hasil penelitian menyatakan: (1) ada hubungan yang signifikan persepsi karir terhadap kinerja guru dengan koefisien korelasi parsial sebesar 0,282 %; (2) ada hubungan yang signifikan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja guru dengan koefisien korelasi parsial sebesar 0,381 %; (3) ada hubungan yang signifikan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru dengan koefisien korelasi parsial sebesar 0,538 %; (4) ada hubungan yang signifikan persepsi karir, disiplin kerja, dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru dengan koefisien korelasi ganda sebesar 0,545 % pada pengaruhpositif. Dengan demikian semakin baik persepsi karir, disiplin kerja, dan motivasi kerja maka akan semakin baik pula kinerja guru.Kata kunci: disiplin kerja, kinerja guru, motivasi kerja, persepsi karir

Abstract

Education is a form of dynamical culture and a condition for human development. As an educator, teachers do not only teach their students to know things, but also have to practice students skills, attitudes and mental. The skills, attitudes and mentalities are not only to be known, but also should be mastered and practiced by students in their daily lives. The objectives of the study were to find out the social skills differences between students whose learning by Think Pair Share (TPS) model and students whose learning by Pair Check (PC) model, to analyse  the effectiveness of the TPS and PC model in achieving social skills indicators in students who have high interest in study, and to analyse the interactions between learning models and learning interest.Pendidikan adalah salah satu bentuk perwujudan kebudayaan manusia yang dinamis dan syarat perkembangan. Sebagai seorang pendidik, guru tidak hanya mengajarkan siswanya untuk mengetahui berbagai hal. Guru juga harus melatih keterampilan, sikap dan mental anak didik. Penanaman keterampilan, sikap dan mental ini tidak bisa sekedar asal tahu saja, tetapi harus dikuasai dan dipraktikkan siswa dalam kehidupan sehari-harinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan sosial antara siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) dengan model pembelajaran Pair Chek (PC), menganalisa keefektifan model pembelajaran TPS dan PC dalam mencapai indikator keterampilan sosial pada siswa yang memiliki minat belajar tinggi, serta menganalisa interaksi antara model pembalajaran dengan minat belajar.Kata kunci: keterampilan sosial, think pair share, pair check, pembelajaran IPS
