Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, health, work safety, environmental protection and security (K3LLP) conditions in the Parang II well drilling area became a big problem. Business activities were limited, resulting in a decline in demand in the global oil market. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of K3LLP risk management in drilling the Parang II well during the covid 19 pandemic. The research method is a survey method using a questionnaire. A sample of 67 people includes permanent workers, contracts, and contractors involved in drilling projects, both at the supervisory level and field leaders. Data analysis used regression analysis. The results show that K3LLP risk management is effective with a significant contribution value. In conclusion, the implementation of K3LLP risk management is well and effectively. Therefore, the managerial implications need adjustments based on ISO standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 31000.

Abstract

Permasalahan di PEP Asset 5 berupa perilaku tidak aman seperti kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan sehingga gagal mengingatkan, mengamankan, serta mengidentifikasi bahaya. PEKA PERISAI sebagai upaya pencegahan kecelakaan kerja resmi dilaksanakan tahun 2020. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi penerapan PEKA PERISAI, kendala-kendala dalam penerapannya, dan pengaruh PEKA PERISAI terhadap K3 di PEP Asset 5. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan ISM (Interpretative Structural Model) untuk mengevaluasi tujuan dan kendala dalam penerapan PEKA PERISAI, dan uji regresi linear untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh PEKA PERISAI terhadap K3 di PEP Asset 5. Hasil penelitian yaitu (1) Evaluasi tujuan berdasarkan ISM menunjukkan bahwa tujuan utama sebagai penggerak yaitu mendukung penerapan Pertamina HSE Golden Rules (Patuh, Intervensi, dan Peduli), dan didukung tujuan kedua berupa memberikan coaching dan consoling agar pekerjaan aman dilakukan sesuai prosedur. (2) Evaluasi kendala berdasarkan ISM menunjukkan bahwa semua kendala makro menjadi kendala besar terutama kurangnya pembinaan, bimbingan, dan pengawasan pengendalian bahaya. Tahun 2020 ditemukan 1.792 kasus tidak aman dengan 1.517 kasus (84,65 %) merupakan human error (3) Penerapan PEKA PERISAI berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap K3 sebesar 16 %, artinya dengan peningkatkan PEKA PERISAI maka K3 di PEP Asset 5 pun dapat meningkat. Abstract

Abstract. Increased population density, community activities, lack of infrastructure and people unable to cope with fires are fire-prone areas. This study aims to identify barriers to fire prevention in the East Jakarta area so that fires can be prevented and dealt with properly. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method with content analysis, bowtie analysis and A'WOT analysis. The results show that the response time of the officers according to the target time reached 98% and 2% did not, the most fire objects were residential buildings 28%, 81% extinguished by officers and 19% extinguished by the community, the area that covers a radius of 2km from the 160.59Km2 fire post service has not been reached 27 ,44Km2. Bowtie's analysis shows the hazard of fire, the top event is limited in fire management supervision, the threat response time is more than 15 minutes the barrier increases the preparedness and skills of officers, uses an effective, fast, and accurate fire report application, the threat of lack of coverage area of the barrier post increases the number of fire stations. fires, providing fire extinguishers and hydrants. The A'WOT analysis shows the quadrant IV integration strategy, conditions that grow and develop. It can be concluded that the lack of service coverage areas and fire facilities and infrastructure in the community can inhibit fire fighting. The managerial implication is expected to increase the number of posts to support the punctuality of the response time of officers, facilitate socialization, training, fire simulations on a regular basis and thoroughly to the public so that they are more concerned about the threat of fire hazards. Abstract

Abstract. The research in general aims to analyze the fatality incident due to Covid-19 that occurred on March 28, 2021 using a combined method of 3 root cause methods, namely the SCAT, 5 Why, and Bow Tie methods, and ends by prioritizing improvements with the Interpretive Structural Model method ( ISM) And specifically the purpose of this research is to determine the root causes of the main causes using the 5 Why and SCAT methods, Determine the factors before and after the top event that contribute to the threat and consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic risk using the BowTie method, and determine the Barrier factors from BowTie Analysis which are critical factors that must be implemented. The results of the analysis using 5 Whys and PHE SCAT show that there are unsafe actions both from human factors and conditions that cause workers to be exposed to COVID-19 at work sites. To optimize the condition so that it doesn't happen again, a follow-up analysis using BowTie was carried out and the results of the research used ISM (Interpretive Structural Modeling) for critical Barriers for threats (treats) which prioritized to be implemented and monitored, namely A1 (on-site emergency planning). Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengelolaan limbah cair di rest area cabang Terbanggi Besar Pematang Kayu Agung atau jalan tol trans Sumatra PT. Hutama Karya. Tujuan lainnya adalah untuk mengetahui strategi pengolahan limbah cair di TBPPKA serta untuk mengetahui kualitas air limbah domestic di TBPPKA. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di rest area cabang Terbanggi Besar Pematang Kayu Agung pada Agustus tahun 2022. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh limbah cair di rest area cabang Terbanggi Besar Pematang Kayu Agung atau jalan tol trans Sumatra PT. Hutama Karya, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini ialah AHP yaitu 1 kesehatan keselamatan lingkungan, 1 pengawas dan 1 ahli lingkungan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah bersifat deskriptif kualitatif untuk tujuan tertentu, lebih tepatnya Interpretable Structure Modelling (ISM) digunakan sebagai analisis statistik deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah menggunakan grab samping dan wawancara. Analisis statistic yang digunakan adalah Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Hasil penelitin ini yaitu menunjukkan bahwa padatan, minyak dan lemak, dan amonia masih relatif rendah. nilai Total Coliform adalah 8000 dimana keberadaan bakteri ini cukup tinggi dan jumlah total bakteri coliform melebihi batas maksimum baku mutu limbah domestik. Oleh karena itu, sangat penting untuk membersihkan dan mengontrol kualitas limbah di tempat ini serta Pengolahan hasil Process Hierarchy Analysis (AHP) secara keseluruhan menyimpulkan bahwa diantara ketiga kriteria alternatif berdasarkan evaluasi dari ketiga responden, biofiltrasi merupakan pilihan yang paling berbobot. Nilai koefisien fakta sebesar 0,04 yang berarti hasil analisis proses hirarki (AHP) dapat diterima karena nilai fakta ? 0,10.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Companies in the gas sector are developing rapidly to become one of the world's largest income centers which have work routines related to humans, the environment and infectious agents through transmission of infection between workers, equipment and the environment (air, temperature, water and others). Information from a company reports that there are still 2% unsafe work accident incidents that create work-related illnesses and unsafe occupational health and safety performance by 8% and unsafe implementation of a safety culture by 17%.The research objective was to analyze the effect of implementing a safety culture through the indirect injury free program on the performance of occupational health safety and occupational diseases among employees of the gas company PT XYZ. Quantitative research method type pre-experimental design one shot case study design and analyzed by simple linear regression test. Data collection techniques using primary data by distributing questionnaires. The population is 200 workers and the sampling technique uses total sampling. The results of the study show that most (60%) the application of safety culture through the indirect injury free program is unsafe, most (58%) work health safety performance is unsafe and almost half (40%) occupational diseases still occur . There is an influence between the application of safety culture through the indirect injury free program on occupational health safety performance of 58.6% and work-related diseases of 45.5% in gas company employees at PT XYZ, while the rest is influenced by other factors. Recommendations for workers to increase commitment, routine briefings, training to increase knowledge and motivation. Recommendations for company management to improve the oversight and monitoring functions of periodic evaluations (weekly, monthly and yearly) as well as human resource development through dissemination and training on the implementation of safety culture and occupational health and safety. Keywords: Occupational Health Safety, Indirect Injury Free, Occupational Diseases, Safety Culture.  ABSTRAK Perusahaan di bidang gas berkembang pesat menjadi salah satu pusat penghasilan terbesar dunia yang memiliki rutinitas kerja berhubungan dengan manusia, lingkungan dan agen penyebab infeksi penyakit melalui transmisi penularan dari antar pekerja, peralatan dan lingkungan (udara, suhu, air dan lainnya). Informasi dari sebuah perusahaan melaporkan masih terjadi 2% unsafe kejadian kecekaaan kerja yang menciptakan penyakit akibat kerja dan unsafe kinerja keselamatan kesehatan kerja sebesar 8% serta unsafe penerapan budaya keselamatan sebesar 17%. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan safety culture melalui program indirect injury free terhadap kinerja keselamatan kesehatan kerja dan penyakit akibat kerja pada karyawan perusahaan gas PT XYZ. Metode penelitian kuantitatif jenis pre eksperimental design rancangan one shot case study dan di analisis dengan uji regresi linear sederhana. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan data primer dengan penyebaran kuesioner. Populasi sebanyak 200 pekerja dan teknik pengambilan sampling menggunakan total sampling. Hasil penelitian menujukkan sebagian besar (60%) penerapan safety culture melalui program indirect injury free kurang aman (unsafe), sebagian besar (58%) kinerja keselamatan kesehatan kerja kurang baik (unsafe) dan hampir separuhnya (40%) penyakit akibat kerja masih terjadi. Terdapat pengaruh antara penerapan safety culture melalui program indirect injury free terhadap kinerja keselamatan kesehatan kerja sebesar 58,6% dan terhadap penyakit akibat kerja sebesar 45,5% pada karyawan perusahaan gas di PT XYZ, sedangkan sisanya di pengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Rekomendasi bagi pekerja untuk meningkatkan komitmen, rutin brifing, pelatihan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan motivasi. Rekomendasi bagi manajemen perusahaan meningkatkan fungsi pengawasan dan monitoring evaluasi berkala (mingguan, bulanan dan tahunan) serta pengembangan sumber daya manusia melalui diseminasi dan pelatihan pelaksanaan safety culture dan keselamatan kesehatan kerja. Kata Kunci: Keselamatan Kesehatan Kerja, Indirect Injury Free, Penyakit Akibat Kerja, Safety Culture.

Abstract

Environmental issues have now become a critical topic for the attention of countries around the world, especially efforts to prevent climate change by mitigating greenhouse impacts. There are six types of greenhouse gases, namely Carbon dioxide (CO2), Methane ( CH4 ), Nitrous oxide ( N2O ), Hydro perfluorocarbons ( HFC ), Perfluorocarbons ( CFCs ), Sulfur Hexafluoride ( SF6) this which naturally exists in the air (atmosphere). The gas layer causes infrared heat rays A to reflect sunlight, causing geothermal heat that reaches 13°C.    The earth's temperature will increase when the greenhouse gas layer gets bigger. Increased greenhouse gas (GHG) concentrations contribute to climate change by destroying stratospheric ozone and trapping excessive heat in the atmosphere. CO2 contributes 76.7% of total GHG emissions. Industrial activities are suspected to be one of the sources of co2 emission production. Research using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method aims to analyze impact mitigation policies and GHG reduction strategies carried out by PT XYZ as one of the manufacturing industries committed to contributing to mitigating the impact of greenhouse gases. The research results obtained the Priority Policy on the operation of production machines at the Factory 1 location. The strategies carried out include replacing old machines that are no longer efficient with new machines that are more productive, and efficient in their electricity use, the use of high technology, and changing the layout or layout of machines that are more compact and grouped based on the type of product. From the analysis using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, it was concluded that the most priority greenhouse gas (GHG) impact mitigation policy was to reduce CO2 emissions based on the use of electrical energy by Reducing the use of electrical energy.

Abstract

PLTD Nusa Penida is one of the Private Owned Enterprises in Klungkung Bali, which was established to meet the electricity needs of the surrounding community. The use of diesel engines as the main tool to help the process of electricity generation operational activities certainly creates noise that can interfere with the hearing process of employees, especially if it happens every day and takes place continuously. Therefore, it can be ascertained that employees who work in the Nusa Peninda PLTD field have a high risk of noise disturbance. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of noise intensity on work stress levels, hearing health problems and employee performance. The method used is a quantitative approach with the type of exploratory research. The sample amounted to 35 people. The results of the study concluded that (1) noise intensity affects the hearing health problems of employees of PLTD Nusa Penida Bali. (2) Noise intensity does not affect the health problems of employees of PLTD Nusa Penida Bali. (3) Employee hearing health problems do not affect the performance of PLTD Nusa Penida Bali employees, and (4) Employee stress levels affect the performance of PLTD Nusa Penida Bali employees.

Abstract

The Emergency Room (IGD) is part of the most vital service unit in helping to save the lives of patients who experience medical emergencies when they are first admitted to the hospital. Given the many potential hazards and risks that can cause work accidents, work-related illnesses, sentinel events and other unexpected events, efforts are needed to reduce or control these risks, so that all human resources in the hospital can avoid work-related accidents or diseases. Risk management actions are taken to respond to various risks in business activities or organizations. This risk management activity is carried out before the risk occurs so that it is an anticipatory action that can be taken and makes a plan that can be used if the risk arises so as to reduce negative impacts and avoid large losses. This study aims to analyze risk events, risk assessment, and causes of occupational safety and health (K3) risks for nurses at the Kuwait General Hospital Emergency Room. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. While the population of this study were all nurses in the Emergency Room at the Kuwait General Hospital. The sample method used is probability sampling. The sampling method or technique above was carried out using simple random sampling. Research data analysis uses the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method for risk analysis, in calculating the Risk Priority Number (RPN) and making a list of critical risks by calculating the ratio of the total RPN value divided by a number of risks. The results of the analysis show that there are five stages of service activities that pose Occupational Health and Safety (K3) risks to nurses working in the Emergency Room at the Kuwait General Hospital. The five risks in the activity stage are getting there, arriving, being seen, receiving treatment, and leaving. It was also found that ten factors of the three occupational safety and health (K3) risks for nurses that arise from the process of service activities in the emergency room.

Abstract

It is essential for companies operating in the industrial sector to implement an occupational safety and health management system (OSHMS). There needs to be control and prevention efforts so that work accidents can be minimized. The success of PT. X in implementing OSHMS as an effort to prevent work accidents. The efforts made by PT. X in overcoming work accidents. Quantitative descriptive research using a purposive sampling method, the sample was selected by 4 people who have in-depth knowledge and competence related to OSH in the company. Data was obtained and analyzed using Risk Management, which refers to the checklist in the PP attachment—50 of 2012. Data analysis is displayed in the form of a percentage number. The research results concluded that the implementation of the occupational safety and health management system in the food industry was achieved with an average score of 80.30% in the excellent category. Efforts made to overcome work accidents include implementing coaching in the form of emergency simulation training and SMK3 education, as well as hazard identification. It is recommended that there be ongoing training to improve the implementation of OSHMS in companies.
