Abstract

Evaluasi pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran Seni Budaya dan Prakarya (SBdP) di sekolah dasar umumnya masih berfokus pada tes tertulis dan tugas proyek sehingga kurang memberikan ruang bagi keterlibatan aktif siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan model evaluasi berbasis game digital Wordwall jenis anagram sebagai alternatif evaluasi yang lebih interaktif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap tokoh-tokoh Pandawa. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SD Negeri Pegandon Kendal dengan subjek 56 siswa kelas IV. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif untuk menggambarkan proses dan hasil evaluasi pembelajaran SBdP, dengan teknik observasi dan dokumentasi. Instrumen evaluasi berupa lima item anagram yang dikerjakan secara individu melalui perangkat digital berupa telepon pintar dengan menggunakan platform Wordwall. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Wordwall mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar, memperkuat memori siswa terhadap nama tokoh Pandawa, serta menghasilkan performa pengerjaan yang cepat dan akurat pada sebagian besar siswa. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa game digital berbasis anagram Wordwall dapat menjadi alternatif evaluasi yang efektif dalam pembelajaran SBdP, khususnya pada materi budaya dan pewayangan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan sosial peserta didik dengan pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) melalui tutor sebaya pada pelajaran Tematik di UPT SPF SDI MANGASA 1. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus yang diawali dengan kegiatan pra siklus untuk mengetahui kemampuan awal setiap peserta didik sebelum diterapkan pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL)) melalui tutor sebaya. Pada setiap siklus dilaksanakan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi terhadap 20 peserta didik di kelas III B. Implementasi pendekatan tersebut dilakukan sebanyak 2 pertemuan setiap siklusnya. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes diagnostik dan juga lembar observasi keterampilan sosial selama pembelajaran. Hasil implementasi pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) melalui tutor sebaya menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dari pra-siklus 40% hingga siklus 1 sebanyak 60% dan siklus 2 sebanyak 85%. Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) melalui tutor sebaya merupakan salah satu cara meningkatkan keterampilan sosial peserta didik kelas III di Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Perancangan Buku ilustrasi “Teman Baru Di Taman Kota”dibuat sebagai upaya agar dapat membangun rasa empati pada anak usia 5-6 Tahun. Anak-anak pada usia tersebut sedang berada dalam tahap penting perkembangan sosial dan emosional, namun masih sering mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami perasaan orang lain. Melalui ilustrasi yang ekspresif dan cerita sederhana yang dekat dengan kehidupan sehari-hari, buku ini dirancang untuk membantu anak mengenal nilai kepedulian, keberanian bersosialisasi, dan pentingnya berteman. Proses perancangan meliputi penjaringan ide cerita, pengembangan karakter, storyboard, hingga finalisasi ilustrasi digital dengan gaya visual anime/manga yang ramah anak. Hasil perancangan ini diwujudkan dalam bentuk buku ilustrasi berukuran 21,5 x 20 cm dengan narasi ringan dan visual yang penuh warna. Karya ini diharapkan dapat menjadi media bantu dalam menanamkan nilai empati secara menyenangkan dan mudah dipahami oleh anak-anak.

Abstract

Wayang Orang merupakan seni pertunjukan tradisional yang tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai hiburan, tetapi juga sebagai media penyampaian nilai ideologis dan pandangan hidup masyarakat Jawa. Pertunjukan ini menampilkan sistem visual yang kompleks melalui rias, busana, warna, gerak, dan tata panggung yang memiliki makna simbolik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji ideologi visual dalam pertunjukan Wayang Orang menggunakan perspektif Desain Komunikasi Visual sebagai pendekatan analisis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka dan analisis visual deskriptif interpretatif terhadap unsur-unsur visual dalam pertunjukan Wayang Orang. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa unsur visual tersebut membentuk sistem komunikasi visual tradisional yang merepresentasikan nilai moral, etika, serta struktur sosial budaya Jawa. Perspektif Desain Komunikasi Visual membantu mengungkap cara pesan ideologis dikonstruksi dan dikomunikasikan secara visual kepada penonton. Kajian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi teoretis bagi pengembangan studi seni pertunjukan dan budaya visual dalam ranah Ilmu Budaya.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the fact that cow’s milk is relatively affordable and widely consumed, yet it serves as an excellent growth medium for microorganisms, making it highly perishable. Therefore, processing and preservation through fermentation are necessary. One of the most popular fermented dairy products is yogurt, which is produced using lactic acid bacteria (LAB), particularly Lactobacillus bulgaricus, which plays an essential role in the fermentation process. Yogurt naturally has a sour taste; therefore, the addition of honey as a natural sweetener is needed to improve its acceptability. Honey contains approximately 41% fructose, 35% glucose, and 1.9% sucrose, which contribute to sweetness and may support fermentation activity. The objective of this study was to determine the effect of different concentrations of honey and Lactobacillus bulgaricus on the quality of cow’s milk yogurt. The research employed a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with a two-factor factorial arrangement. The first factor was honey concentration (0%, 3%, and 5%), and the second factor was Lactobacillus bulgaricus concentration (0%, 3%, 5%, 7%, and 9%). The study also evaluated yogurt quality based on protein content, total acidity, and sensory attributes including color, aroma, taste, and overall acceptability through organoleptic testing. The results showed that both honey and Lactobacillus bulgaricus concentrations significantly affected yogurt quality. The lowest protein content was observed in treatment M1L1 (0% honey, 0% bacteria) at 2.94%, while the highest protein content was found in treatment M3L5 (5% honey, 9% bacteria) at 5.23%. Similarly, the lowest total acidity was recorded in M1L1 (0.61%), whereas the highest total acidity was obtained in M3L5 (1.65%). Yogurt treatments that were acceptable to panelists were those containing 5% honey combined with all bacterial concentrations (M3L1, M3L2, M3L3, M3L4, and M3L5).

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of carrot tuber and red ginger rhizome addition on the acceptability and shelf life of sponge cake enriched with tofu dregs. The research used an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) in a factorial pattern consisting of two factors. The first factor was carrot addition (20%, 30%, and 40%), and the second factor was red ginger addition (9%, 10%, and 12%). Organoleptic evaluation included color, aroma, taste, texture, and crumb structure assessed by panelists. Shelf life observation was conducted at room temperature. The results showed that the best treatment based on overall acceptability was 20% carrot and 12% red ginger (W1J3). This treatment produced a bright color, distinctive aroma, balanced taste, soft texture, and fine crumb structure. Shelf life analysis indicated that the W1J3 treatment had the longest storage period, lasting up to 6 days at room temperature. The addition of carrot and red ginger significantly influenced both acceptability and shelf life. It can be concluded that the incorporation of 20% carrot and 12% red ginger improves the sensory quality and extends the shelf life of tofu dregs sponge cake.

Abstract

Abstrak:Salah satu manfaat Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) di bidang pendidikan adalah membantu peserta didik tunanetra dalam mengakses informasi dan memahami beragam teks yang tidak mungkin diakses dengan keterbatasan penglihatan mereka, termasuk dalam mengakses soal-soal Ujian Nasional (UN). Ada tiga model penyajian soal-soal UN yang selama ini dikembangkan untuk peserta didik tunanetra di Indonesia, yaitu: (1) model soal UN dengan cetak/font diperbesar, (2) model soal UN dengan cetak huruf Braille, dan (3) model soal UN dengan dibacakan oleh pengawas UN atau guru pendamping. Ketiga model ini pada kenyataannya masih memiliki berbagai kelemahan dan belum bisa memenuhi kebutuhan peserta didik tunanetra dalam mengakses soal-soal UN. Oleh karena itu, permasalahan dalam kajian ini adalah bagaimana pemanfaatan media audio untuk peserta didik tunanetra dalam mengerjakan UN. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengungkapkan sebuah model media audio yang dimanfaatkan oleh peserta didik tunanetra dalam mengerjakan UN. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa model soal soal UN dengan media audio ini dapat dimanfaatkan dalam UN untuk peserta didik tunanetra. Model UN berbasis audio ini memiliki kelebihan, yaitu: (1) peserta didik tunanetra dapat mengakses soal-soal UN dengan kualitas dan standar yang sama, (2) efisiensi waktu dalam mengakses soal-soal UN, (3) soal lebih mudah digandakan, dan (4) efisiensi biaya. Oleh karena itu, langkah-langkah nyata dalam mengembangkan sebuah model UN berbasis audio untuk peserta didik tunanetra sangat diperlukan.Kata kunci: Media Audio, Ujian Nasional, Peserta Didik TunanetraAbstract:One of the advantages of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education is to help the visually impaired students access information and understand various texts, that couldn’t be accessed by their limited sight, including in accessing test items of National Exams. There are three models of presenting NE questions that have, so far, been developed for visually-impaired students in Indonesia, namely: 1) NE questions are printed with bigger characters, 2) NE questions are printed in braile, and 3) NE questions are read by an education officer or assisting teacher. In fact, the three models still have some weaknesses and have not been able to comprehensively solve the problem of visually-impaired students in doing the NE. Therefore, the problem of this study is how to utilize audio-media for the visually-impaired studetns in doing NE. The objective of this study is to expose the use of an audio-media model for the visually-impaired students in doing NE. The study result shows that the NE questions in the format of audio-media model can be done by visually-impaired students. Audio-media based-NE has some advantages: 1) Visually-impaired students can access NE questions with the same quality and standard as normal students; 2) The students get more efficient time in doing the NE; 3) NE questions are easier to be multiplied; and 4) There is more cost efficiency. Therefore, concrete actions to develop audio-media based-NE model for the visuallyimpaired students are highly required.Keywords: Audio Media, National Examination, Visually-Impaired Students

Abstract

Becoming a world-class open and distance learning university involves developing academic products by improving the quality of academic services and service reach for the entire community. Therefore, developing MOOC content in UT's Learning Management System (LMS) using the Self-Paced Instruction model is crucial. The lack of topics in UT's MOOCs needs to be addressed wisely. The issues to be addressed are the validity of the MOOC content on the topic of Designing an Assessment of Creativity for Elementary School Students linked to the UT LMS, and the competencies/learning outcomes and responses of students using the developed online course, This development research design uses the four-D model (4-D model), adapted from Thiagarajan et al., with the stages Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The research was conducted at the UT Surabaya UPBJJ (Education and Training Center) and Unesa (Unesa) as a collaborative research and development partner. Data were obtained from expert validation of MOOC content, learning outcomes, and responses from online course participants during limited trials in the Bojonegoro and Lamongan Learning Groups (Pokjar). The validation data from three education experts were described and the mean was determined. The online course participant test scores were reviewed and compared against the graduation criteria established by UT. The questionnaire response data was analyzed using percentages and described qualitatively. The development of the MOOC content for elementary school students' Creativity Assessment was found to be valid and reliable. Student learning outcomes improved. Students provided very positive responses, and the MOOCs can be accessed by all users of the UT LMS

Abstract

Twitter as a social media platform can be utilized as a means of exchanging information about current events. The topic of K-Drama is often discussed by the public on Twitter and reaches trending topics, especially during the pandemic in Indonesia. The popularity of K-Drama in Indonesia has led to marketing strategies where actors are chosen as brand ambassadors. Song Joong Ki is one of the actors who has been chosen by Scarlett Whitening products to become their brand ambassador. The public expresses their responses on Twitter, and sentiment analysis is necessary to classify these responses as positive, neutral, or negative. The sentiment analysis combines the Lexicon-Based method and Multinomial Naїve Bayes Classifier. SentiWordNet is used in the Lexicon-Based classification method. The data preprocessing stage of this research includes cleansing, case folding, word normalization, tokenizing, filtering, and stemming. The combination of the Lexicon-Based method and Multinomial Naїve Bayes Classifier yielded an accuracy score of 81.50%. The words “jadi”, “brand”, and “ambassador” dominate the word cloud, indicating that the public extensively discusses the appointment of Song Joong Ki as the brand ambassador for Scarlett Whitening.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve the number recognition skills of children aged 4–5 years through the use of Enactive, Iconic, and Symbolic (EIS) card media at TK PKK Sobo Desa Gedangan Kecamatan Ngrayun Kabupaten Ponorogo. The study was motivated by the low level of children's number recognition abilities, as indicated by difficulties in sequencing numbers, identifying number symbols, counting objects, and matching number symbols with corresponding quantities. This research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, consisting of two cycles: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The participants were 21 children in Group A, aged 4–5 years. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and field notes, while data analysis was conducted using both quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques. The results revealed that the implementation of EIS card media significantly improved children's number recognition skills. In the pre-cycle stage, only 24% of the children achieved the categories of Developing as Expected (DE) and Very Well Developed (VWD). Following the intervention in Cycle I, the percentage increased to 62%, and further improved to 86% in Cycle II, exceeding the predetermined success criterion of 80%. This improvement occurred because EIS card media provided a structured learning experience that progressed from concrete activities to visual representations and finally to symbolic understanding, in accordance with Bruner’s learning theory. Therefore, it can be concluded that Enactive, Iconic, and Symbolic (EIS) card media are effective in enhancing number recognition skills among children aged 4–5 years while creating a more active, engaging, and meaningful learning environment.
