Abstract

This article explores the contextualisation of Christianity within Chinese culture by examining how Christian worship can embrace local wisdom and cultural values. Contextualisation plays a crucial role in ensuring that the expression of Christian faith remains both theologically sound and cul-turally resonant. In the Chinese context, where ancestral reverence, symbolic traditions, and fami-ly-centered values are deeply embedded, a sensitive and thoughtful approach is required. The study employs a qualitative method through a literature review of theological writings, historical records, and cultural analyses to investigate how Christian theology can engage meaningfully with Chinese traditions. The findings reveal that certain cultural elements—such as ancestor honour, which is central to filial piety; the colour red, symbolising prosperity and joy; and the collectivist view of family—can be reinterpreted within a Christian framework. Ancestor honour, for instance, can be seen not as idol worship but as a celebration of faith heritage and family lineage. The use of tradi-tional music, symbols, and festivals such as Chinese New Year in church services demonstrates that cultural integration is possible without compromising the gospel's core message. Moreover, the emphasis on harmony and extended family in Chinese society parallels the Christian concept of koinonia, or spiritual fellowship. By embracing these cultural values, churches in China can present the Christian faith in ways that are both biblically faithful and culturally meaningful. This research underscores the importance of contextual theology in nurturing indigenous expressions of Chris-tianity that honor both Christ and culture.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the forms of identity politics in the 2024 elections and the extent to which these practices challenge the consolidation of democracy in Indonesia. The research is motivated by concerns over the widespread use of SARA issues, religious symbols, and digital narratives spread by buzzers and influencers, which have triggered social polarization, disinformation, and political character assassination. The study employs a normative legal method with statutory, conceptual, and case approaches, using a literature review of regulations, doctrines, and academic works. The findings reveal that identity politics in the 2024 elections manifested in various forms, including religion, gender, age, lineage, and digital politics, which negatively affected social integration and the quality of democracy. However, identity politics may also play a positive role as a means of empowering marginalized groups in promoting equality and human rights. The novelty of this research lies in its critical analysis of digital identity politics, which has become increasingly massive, thus offering a new perspective on the challenges of democracy consolidation in the digital era. The study recommends strengthening political education, enforcing campaign ethics, regulating digital media, and fostering cross-identity dialogue to promote an inclusive and civilized democracy.

One of the ways to keep employee productivity is through employee engagement. The organizational effectiveness will be realized if the employees who perform assigned duties are willing to engage in activities. The leader should make employees feel comfortable in doing the job. Research design used in this research is descriptive research design and correlational research design. Research methods which used are descriptive statistic analysis, validity and reliability test, normality test, coefficient correlation, coefficient of determinant, simple linear regression analysis and Z testing. The conclusion of this research is there is impact transformational leadership style towards employee engagement. The conclusion is proved with Z test. The calculation of Z test shows that Zcount (10.13) is higher than Ztable (1.96). The alternative hypothesis is accepted and null hypothesis is rejected. Coefficient of correlation is 0.896. It shows that there is strong and positive relationship between variables. Coefficient of determination is 80.3%. It shows that employee engagement can be explained by transformational leadership style in 80.3% while the remaining in 19.7% can be explained by other factors.

Abstract

Employees are essential to the attainment of an organization's objectives, vision, and mission. Employees are essential to a business, hence the corporation must prioritize their requirements. Several issues arose. The employees' performance deteriorated because of insufficient remuneration. Several individuals did not fulfill their responsibilities punctually, leading to a reduction in their job output. The corporation offered incentives to improve their job performance. This research will investigate the correlation between incentives and employee work performance. The author will utilize all of them as a sample for this investigation. This procedure is termed census sampling. The study substantiates the efficacy of Variable X (incentive) and Variable Y (workers' job performance). The reliability test further validates the results' dependability. The correlation coefficient is 0.73. This indicates a robust correlation between incentives and employee work performance. The hypothesis test produced a score of 4.53, demonstrating that the tcount surpasses the ttable (2.101). Consequently, we may exclude the null hypothesis (H0), which posits that no correlation exists between incentives and employees' job performance. This indicates a substantial correlation between the incentive (variable X) and workers' job performance (variable Y). This research shows that a correlation exists between incentives and workers' job performance. The incentive was a contributing factor to the enhancement of employee performance, while other elements, such as working environment, also had a role.

Abstract

During the screening of new students, each state and private institution is required to carry out promotion in order to obtain the number of students according to the predetermined target. Problems that often occur when determining the location of promotion, the New Student Admission Team (PMB) determine the location of promotions randomly without considering several factors that can affect the number of students who will join. This is often done mainly by private university such as Semarang University (USM). To overcome this, a system is needed to provide information for the New Student Admission Team (PMB) in making decisions on the location of USM promotions. This system applies the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method and criteria that can affect the number of students who will later register because the determination of the location of the promotion is right on target. Criteria and weights include: Distance (cost) with a weight of 30%, number of students (benefit) with a weight of 40%, school status (benefit) with a weight of 20%, and a source of information (benefit) with a weight of 10%. The programming language used by PHP and data bases uses MySQL. The final result of this study is a decision support system that can provide information to the PMB team about the location of the school that has the potential for USM promotion.
