Abstract

The aim of this study was to improve the learners' proficiency in using the discussion board to create a recount text. Presently, internet education has garnered substantial acclaim and is widely employed worldwide. The objective of the study was to enhance the writing aptitude of eighth-grade pupils in the genre of recount texts through the utilization of discussion boards. The study was conducted using a collaborative classroom action research methodology. The data sources included field notes, questionnaires, observation checklists, and the students' results, which were a recount text. The findings demonstrated that the employment of a discussion board can improve the quality of recount writing. As per the initial success criterion, a minimum score of 65 was required for 70% of the pupils. 81.48% (22 out of 27) of the students who turned in writing samples in the first round met the initial success criterion by scoring 65 or higher. Approximately 82.30% of the pupils actively participated in Education and acquisition of knowledge. The survey findings showed that following the implementation of the discussion board, a meaningful majority of students (84.70%) voiced positive reactions.

Abstract

Keberadaan UMKM (Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah) semakin meningkatkan jiwa kewirausahaan atau wiraswasta dan menciptakan lapangan kerja bagi masyarakat. Para pelaku usaha UMKM Indonesia terus mengembangkan diri untuk menciptakan daya saing universal agar tetap mempertahankan eksistensinya di dunia bisnis. Paguyuban Witpari atau Wirausaha Tangguh Bumi Intanpari yang berada di Karanganyar, Jawa Tengah adalah kumpulan para pelaku UMKM yang telah mempunyai berbagai macam produk. Tiktok menjadi salah satu sarana pemasaran online yang banyak digunakan oleh para pelaku bisnis. Aplikasi TikTok sekarang digunakan untuk mempromosikan suatu produk tertentu. Saat ini aplikasi Tiktok menjadi salah satu platform media sosial yang banyak digunakan untuk kegiatan digital marketing ini. Aplikasi Tiktok ini menampilkan fitur yang kekinian yang mana dapat menarik para pengguna Tiktok untuk menggunakannya. Adanya pelatihan pembuatan tiktok shop diharapkan dapat dijadikan inovasi dalam pemasaran secara digital untuk menambah ketertarikan konsumen membeli produk yag ditawarkan.   The existence of UMKM (Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah) further enhances the entrepreneurial spirit and creates employment opportunities for the community. Indonesian UMKM entrepreneurs continue to develop themselves to create universal competitiveness in order to maintain their existence in the business world. The Witpari Association or the Tangguh Bumi Intanpari Entrepreneurship located in Karanganyar, Central Java is a collection of UMKM actors who already have a variety of products. Tiktok is an online marketing tool that is widely used by business people. TikTok application is now used to promote a specific product. Currently Tiktok is one of the social media platforms that is widely used for digital marketing activities. This Tiktok application displays modern features that can attract Tiktok users to use it. The existence of training on making a tiktok shop is expected to be used as an innovation in digital marketing to increase consumer interest in buying the products offered.

Abstract

Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) merupakan program pengabdian masyarakat yang diperuntukan bagi mahasiswa. Saat ini program KKN menjadi salah satu program unggulan dalam MBKM Membangun Desa. Untuk membuat program lebih berkompeten perlu adanya pengembangan dan evaluasi berkelanjutan. Hal ini sebagai upaya untuk memberikan kontribusi yang cukup signifikan sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat. Perlu adanya sebuah sistem informasi dalam memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut. Salah satu sistem yang dapat digunakan adalah Geographic Information System (GIS) yang merupakan sistem pendataan, penerimaan, dan manajemen berbasis website. Pengembangan sistem informasi berupa halaman pengisian data kelompok mahasiswa, luaran sosial media kelompok mahasiswa, form penilaian desa, dan evaluasi kegiatan program KKNT MBKM Membangun Desa. Framework yang digunakan pada sistem ini adalah Laravel 8(PHP). Hasil yang diberikan berupa penampilan informasi terkait pelaksanaan kegiatan KKN. Dari hasil tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai evaluasi pelaksanaan program- program yang telah dilaksanakan mahasiswa.

Abstract

The water used for fish farming by the Mina Lestari is very dirty, because many soil particles are dissolved in water. The water with high dirty in generally has very high turbidity. So that oxygen is difficult to dissolve in water and is not sufficient for fish life. So many fish die, due to insufficient oxygen for breathing. To reduce water turbidity is treated by electrocoagulation process combined with the aeration process. The aim of the research was to study the effect of changes in turbidity on dissolved oxygen in water. The study began by measuring the turbidity using a turbidimeter and dissolved oxygen using a DO meter. Furthermore, pour 10 liters of water into the electrocoagulation process tank. The electrocoagulation was carried out at 12 volt or 0,3 ampere for 10 minutes. The process was stopped, then the water flowed into the settling tank and left for 30 minutes to precipitate of the dirt. The water flowed into a holding tank and followed aeration process by flowing air at a rate of 500 cc per minute for 30 minutes. Then followed measuring turbidity by turbidimeter and dissolved oxygen by DO meter. Subsequent studies were carried out using the same procedure with an interval of 10 minutes processing time for electrocoagulation process. The results showed that an increase in processing time can reduce water turbidity from 68 NTU to 45 NTU or 33.82% and increase dissolved oxygen from 2.8 mg/L to 5.3 mg/L or 89.29% at 50 minutes processing.

Abstract

DKI Jakarta sangat rentan terhadap banjir karena berada di dataran rendah dengan kemiringan lereng yang landai. Pada 30 November 2023, Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) melaporkan bahwa 69 wilayah RT di Jakarta tergenang banjir, dengan 19 RT di Jakarta Selatan yang terkena dampak. Banjir ini disebabkan oleh luapan Kali Ciliwung dan Kali Pesanggrahan serta hujan lebat sejak 29 November 2023. Pemetaan banjir yang akurat diperlukan untuk mengantisipasi dan mencegah banjir. Memodelkan potensi banjir di Kecamatan Pesanggrahan, Jakarta Selatan dengan menggunakan analisis geospasial yang menggunakan QGIS dan OpenStreetMap telah terbukti berhasil. Pemetaan daerah rawan banjir ini dapat membantu pemerintah membuat kebijakan mitigasi yang tepat dan memberikan informasi tentang jumlah orang yang terdampak, infrastruktur yang terkena, dan jalur evakuasi tercepat.

Abstract

Bolaang Mongondow is located in central north Sulawesi arm, which is composed of Neogen magmatic arc and potentially contain economic minerals. This condition is behind the research purpose to study the mineral resources potencies. Research aim is to study alteration caused by hydrothermal process and its relation with gold (Au) deposit based on field study and laboratory analysis. Methodologies used for the research are literature study, geological survey, rocks sampling, laboratory analysis, and data processing. Research area is a multiply diorite intrusion complex. Andesite, volcaniclastic rocks, and dacite, the older rocks, were intruded by this complex. Later, dacitic tuff, volcanic sandstone, and alluvium deposited above them. There are three measured and mapped major faults heading NE-SW crossed by E-W fault and NW-SE fault lately crossed all the older faults. Early stage hydrothermal alteration related to the existence of young quartz diorite, showing alteration stage from the potassic center to distal prophyllitic. Final stage hydrothermal alteration consist of argilic, advanced argilic, and silica-clay mineral±magnetite±chlorite alteration overlapping the earlier alteration. Mineralization of Cu-Au±Ag in central part of research area or Tayap-Kinomaligan area is mostly asociated with potassic altered young quartz diorite and crossed by paralel and stockworked quartz-magnetite-chalcopyrite±bornite vein.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the leadership style of school principals to improve teacher discipline, which includes the authoritarian leadership style of school principals, the democratic leadership style of school principals, and the laissez-faire leadership style of school principals to improve teacher discipline. The method used is qualitative descriptive with techniques of interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The research results are as follows: 1) The authoritarian leadership style of the principals of SD Negeri 39 and 43 in South Bengkulu is not used as the primary pattern but rather as a situational strategy applied when conditions demand firmness, full control, and quick decisions, especially in dealing with repeated disciplinary violations, emergency situations, or conflicts among teachers. 2) Democratic leadership style is applied by the principals at SD Negeri 39 and SDN 43 in South Bengkulu and has proven effective in improving teacher discipline while fostering a collaborative work culture. This leadership style is demonstrated through open communication, active teacher participation in policy formulation, and decision-making based on consensus. 3) The laissez-faire leadership style of the principals at SDN 39 Bengkulu Selatan and SDN 43 Bengkulu Selatan is implemented selectively and adaptively in accordance with the conditions of the teachers and the needs of the school. This leadership style is considered effective when applied to teachers who possess high professionalism, discipline, and independence.

Abstract

State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) are a form of business entity or legal entity established by the government to realise the welfare of the Indonesian people in accordance with the mandate of the 1945 Constitution. In the management and implementation of their business activities, SOEs in the form of limited liability companies have their own unique characteristics when compared to private limited liability companies, because these SOEs are also regulated separately by Law No. 19 of 2003 concerning State-Owned Enterprises, in addition to being regulated by Law No. 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies. The background and considerations for the enactment of Law No. 19 of 2003 on State-Owned Enterprises include the fact that SOEs are one of the economic actors in the national economy based on economic democracy, playing an important role in the management of the national economy to achieve public welfare, whereas the implementation of the role of SOEs in the national economy to achieve public welfare has not been optimal. Therefore, management and supervision must be carried out professionally. In the management and supervision of SOEs, many directors (managers) of SOEs have been involved in special criminal cases due to errors or negligence in implementing the Business Judgment Rule. Moreover, currently there are not many references or jurisprudence that can save SOE directors if they are suspected of corruption, including the condition of government regulations that do not specifically regulate the application of the Business Judgment Rule.

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital communication has intensified opinion exchanges across languages and cultures on social media, enriching public discourse while also increasing the risk of polarization that deepens social divisions. Conventional sentiment analysis methods that rely on translation often distort meaning, overlook emotional nuances, and fail to capture rhetorical devices such as irony and sarcasm, thereby limiting their reliability in multilingual contexts. This study examines the capability of XLM-RoBERTa, a multilingual transformer model pretrained on more than 100 languages, to address these challenges by generating consistent semantic representations and accommodating linguistic and cultural diversity without translation. The research employs bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer on 357 Scopus-indexed publications from 2020 to 2025 to map research trends, combined with a literature review that evaluates XLM-RoBERTa in sentiment and opinion analysis. The findings reveal that although XLM-RoBERTa has been widely employed for sentiment classification, text categorization, and offensive language detection, research explicitly focused on multilingual opinion polarization remains limited. Benchmark evaluations further indicate that XLM-RoBERTa surpasses earlier multilingual models, achieving 79.6% accuracy on XNLI and an 81.2% F1-score on MLQA, confirming its robustness in capturing semantic nuances, cultural variations, and rhetorical complexity without translation. The novelty of this research lies in integrating trend-mapping with methodological evaluation, thereby establishing XLM-RoBERTa as a reliable framework for real-time monitoring of global public opinion, supporting evidence-based policymaking, and advancing scholarly understanding of multilingual communication dynamics in the digital era.
