The flavivirus epidemiology has reached an alarming rate which haunts the world population including Malaysia. In fact, World Health Organization has proposed and practised many methods of vector control through environmental management, chemical and biological orientations but still cannot fully overcome the problem. This paper proposed a detection of Aedes Aegypti larvae in water storage tank using Single Shot Multibox Detector with transfer learning. The objective of the study was to acquire the training and the performance metrics of the detection. The detection was done using SSD with Inception_V2 through transfer learning. The experimental results revealed that the probability detection scored more than 80% accuracies and there was no false alarm. These results demonstrate the effectiveness of the model approach.

This paper presents design and simulation of wideband power amplifier based on multi-section Wilkinson power divider. Class-A topology and ATF-511P8 transistor have been used. Advanced Design System (ADS) software used to simulate the designed power amplifier. The simulation results show an input return loss (S11)<-10dB, gain (S21)>10 dB over the entire bandwidth, and an output power around 28dBm at the Centre frequency of 3GHz. The designed amplifier is stable over the entire bandwidth (K>1). Inter-modulation distortion is -65.187dBc which is less than -50dBc. The designed amplifier can be used for the microwave applications which include weather radar, satellite communication, wireless networking, mobile, and TV.

In recent years, Augmented Reality (AR) has received increasing emphasis and researchers gradually promote it Over the worlds. With the unique abilities to generate virtual objects over the real-world environment, it can enhance user perception. Although AR recognised for their enormous positive impacts, there are still a ton of matters waiting to be discovered. Research studies on AR toward conceptual change, specifically in scientific concept, are particularly limited. Therefore, this research aims to investigate the effect of integrating AR on conceptual change in scientific concepts. Thirty-four primary school students participated in the study. A pre-test and post-test were used to assess participants’ understanding of the scientific concepts before and after learning through AR. The findings demonstrated that 82% among them had misconceptions about the scientific concepts before learning through AR. However, most of them (around 88%) able to correct their misconceptions and shifted to have a scientific conceptual understanding after learning through AR. These findings indicate that AR was effective to be integrated into education to facilitate conceptual change.

The development of computer networks today has increased rapidly. This can be seen based on the trend of computer users around the world, whereby they need to connect their computer to the Internet. This shows that the use of Internet networks is very important, whether for work purposes or access to social media accounts. However, in widely using this computer network, the privacy of computer users is in danger, especially for computer users who do not install security systems in their computer. This problem will allow hackers to hack and commit network attacks. This is very dangerous, especially for Internet users because hackers can steal confidential information such as bank login account or social media login account. The attacks that can be made include phishing attacks. The goal of this study is to review the types of phishing attacks and current methods used in preventing them. Based on the literature, the machine learning method is widely used to prevent phishing attacks. There are several algorithms that can be used in the machine learning method to prevent these attacks. This study focused on an algorithm that was thoroughly made and the methods in implementing this algorithm are discussed in detail.

Software Engineering (SE) course is one of the backbones of today's computer technology sophistication. Effective theoretical and practical learning of this course is essential to computer students. However, there are many students fail in this course. There are many aspects that influence a student's performance. Currently, student performance analysis methods just focus on historical achievement and assessment methods given in the class. Need more research to predict student's performance to overcome the problem of student failing. The objective of this research is to perform a prediction for student's performance in the SE using enhanced Multilayer Perceptron (MLP) machine learning classification with Adaboost. This research also investigates the requirements of each student before registering in this course. This research achieved 87.76 percent accuracy in classifying the performance of SE students.

Sistem prediksi harga saham yang akurat sangat dibutuhkan oleh para investor untuk menentukankebijakan (pengambilan keputusan) investasi masa datang. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang danmengembangkan suatu sistem aplikasi prediksi harga saham berbasis web dengan sistem inferensi fuziTsukamoto. Masukan data untuk prediksi adalah berupa variabel permintaan, penawaran dan laju inflasi.Keluaran dari prediksi harga saham adalah nilai prediksi harga saham dalam periode tertentu berdasarkanperhitungan dengan sistem basis data fuzi. Sistem prediksi harga saham yang dirancang, diujikan untukmemprediksi harga saham Bursa Efek Jakarta (BEJ). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem aplikasiprediksi harga saham berbasis web dengan inferensi Tsukamoto dapat memprediksi harga saham dengankeakuratan yang tinggi dan mempunyai level penerimaan yang baik dari broker.Kata kunci: prediksi harga saham, fuzi, web.

Prediksi risiko kredit sangat bermanfaat bagi pihak bank atau lembaga pembiayaan dalam mengambilkeputusan kredit. Pada pengambilan keputusan tersebut lembaga pembiayaan wajib melaksanakan prinsipkehati-hatian untuk memperkecil risiko dalam pemberian kredit. Pada penelitian ini akan dirancang perangkatlunak prediksi risiko kredit dengan metode jaringan syaraf tiruan backpropagation. Dari prediksi jaringansyaraf tiruan backpropagation dengan 1 hidden layer dengan jumlah sel 100 dengan fungsi aktivasi satlinmampu memprediksi risiko kredit dengan prosentase kebenaran 70%, jaringan syaraf tiruan backpropagationdengan 2 hidden layer dengan jumlah sel pertama 100 dan sel kedua 300 dengan kombinasi fungsi aktivasilogsig-satlin mampu memprediksi risiko kredit dengan prosentase kebenaran 100%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut,penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan algoritma jaringan syaraf tiruan sebagai metode yang efektifpada sistem prediksi risiko kredit.Kata kunci: Prediksi risiko kredit, jaringan syaraf tiruan, backpropagation.

Citra dengan kontras rendah mempunyai kualitas yang relatif kurang baik, informasinya sulit untukdiinterpretasikan secara langsung oleh mata manusia. Citra seperti ini dapat diperbaiki kualitasnya denganoperasi peningkatan kontras (contrast stretching). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang perangkat lunakperbaikan kualitas citra melalui operasi peningkatan kontras pada citra model RGB dan IHS. Pada penelitianini digunakan operasi titik (point operation), yang akan memproses tiap piksel citra masukan secara individu,yaitu dengan membuat titik yang cenderung gelap menjadi lebih gelap dan yang cenderung terang menjadi lebihterang. Pengembangan perangkat lunak peningkatan kontras citra dilakukan menggunakan Borland Delphi 6.0,yaitu kelas TBitmap. Pengujian dilakukan pada citra standar yang berupa citra skala keabuan (grayscale) ataucitra warna (color images) dengan format file BMP dan JPEG. Berdasarkan pengujian pada beberapa sampelcitra uji menunjukkan bahwa perangkat lunak yang dirancang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kontrassuatu citra. Perbaikan kualitas citra ini dibuktikan dengan melebarnya histogram citra.Kata kunci: image enhancement, contrast stretching, point operation, RGB, IHS

Permasalahan dalam merancang hardware modulator digital BPSK sangat rumit ketika dihadapkan padadata input yang mempunyai banyak bit, sehingga perlu dikembangkan modulator digital menggunakan metodelain. Modulator Digital BPSK Berbasis CPLD MAX7000S menjadi salah satu pilihan karena CPLD memuatribuan gerbang logika yang dapat diprogram untuk membentuk suatu logika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalahmerancang dan membuat modulator digital BPSK berbasis CPLD.Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan suatu perancangan software dan hardware modulator BPSK. Tahapperancangan rangkaian logika dengan perangkat lunak MAX+Plus II Baseline meliputi: perancanganrangkaian untuk menghasilkan frekuensi pembawa 20 KHz dan frekuensi informasi 5 KHz, perancanganrangkaian memori sinusoida, perancangan multiplexer 8 ke 1 untuk data input, dan perancangan multiplexer 2ke 1 untuk memilih memori sinusoida. Perancangan hardware meliputi: perancangan saklar input, perancanganDAC, dan perancangan BPF. Proses berikutnya menguji setiap bagian dengan mengkompilasi danmensimulasikan rangkaian logika yang digambar pada perangkat lunak. Hasil simulasi output modulator digitalBPSK ditampilkan dengan Microsoft Office Excel.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rangkaian modulator digital BPSK yang dirancang telah dapat dicompiledan secara simulasi dengan perangkat lunak MAX+Plus II Baseline telah menunjukkan hasil sesuaiyang diharapkan. Fase output dari modulator digital BPSK berubah jika data yang dikirimkan berbeda logika.Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil perancangan sesuai dengan teori modulasi BPSK.Kata kunci: Modulator digital, BPSK, CPLD.

Pada paper ini akan dijelaskan sintesa modulator digital BPSK pada logika perangkat keras yang dapatdiprogram ulang. Perangkat lunak MAX+Plus II 10.2 Baseline digunakan sebagai alat bantu perancangan dansimulasi hasil sintesa. Pada sintesa ini, diasumsikan bahwa modulator BPSK akan diimplementasikan secaraperangkat keras pada FPGA Altera ACEX1K. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi dan informasi report project,rancangan yang telah dibuat telah menghasilkan keluaran sinyal BPSK yang benar (dalam wujud digital) danmemerlukan 2% LC dari keseluruhan resource yang tersedia pada EP1K50TC144-3 (EVBU ACEX1K yangdigunakan).Kata kunci: Modulator, BPSK, MAX+Plus, FPGA.
