Penggunaan pemotong rumput manual tidak efisien dan juga mengandung resiko kecelakaan yang akan berakibat fatal bagi operator. Untuk itu perlu dirancang suatu alat pemotong rumput yang efisien dan dapat mengurangi resiko kecelakaan dalam menggunakan peralatan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan menguji model alat pemotong rumput otomatis berbasis mikrokontroler AT89C51sebagai pengembangan dari alat pemotong rumput manual. Route perjalanan alat ini berbentuk zig-zag dengan sudut belok sebesar 180 derajat. Rancangan sistem ini terdiri dari keypad sebagai peripheral input untuk memasukkan data area rumput yang akan dipotong yaitu berupa jarak tempuh dan jumlah belok yang dilakukan oleh alat, sensor putaran roda untuk menghitung jarak yang ditempuh, kendali motor untuk mengendalikan arah putaran motor DC untuk arah maju dan mundur, motor DC untuk arah belok kanan dan belok kiri, dan motor DC untuk pemotong rumput. Setting jarak, jumlah belok, dan jarak yang ditempuh oleh alat ketika berjalan ditampilkan oleh rangkaian display yang terdiri dari seven segment dan decoder BCD ke seven segment. Hasil pengujian berupa perbandingan jarak tempuh dengan setting pada keypad, jumlah belok yang dilakukan dengan setting pada keypad, dan sudut belok yang dilakukan oleh pemotong rumput. Perbandingan setting keypad dengan jarak yang ditempuh oleh alat adalah linear dan jarak yang diinginkan dapat diperoleh. Alat ini mempunyai ketepatan sudut belok kanan untuk mencapai sudut 180 adalah 95,7% dan ketepatan sudut belok kiri 98%.

Multilevel inverter hadir untuk memperbaiki inverter yang sudah ada sebagai pengubah tegangan DC menjadi AC. Perbaikan dilakukan untuk menghasilkan output yang memiliki kualitas tinggi dengan frekuensi switching yang rendah. Terdapat tiga tipe multilevel inverter yaitu: diode-clamped, fliying capacitor, dan tipe jembatan penuh. Multilevel inverter tipe jembatan penuh memiliki keunggulan dibandingkan tipe lain karena konstruksi dan pengaturan/kendalinya yang sederhana. Teknik modulasi yang banyak digunakan untuk multilevel inverter adalah menggunakan teknik Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation (SPWM) karena kelebihannya dalam yaitu menghasilkan gangguan harmonisa yang rendah. Teknik SPWM untuk switching terbagi menjadi bipolar, unipolar, dan multi-carrier. Metode switching SPWM mutli-carrier dapat menurunkan frekuensi switching. Penentuan teknik modulasi sinyal kendali untuk switching sangat penting dan berpengaruh pada keandalan rangkaian multilevel inverter.Pada penelitian ini telah dirancang pembangkit sinyal SPWM untuk multilevel inverter menggunakan metode multi-carrier. Metode ini dilakukan dengan membandingkan dua gelombang sinus sebagai sinyal reference (referensi) dan dua gelombang segitiga sebagai sinyal carrier (pembawa). Sinyal referensi dan sinyal pembawa tersebut dibangkitkan dengan mikrokontroler ATmega32. Keluaran sinyal referensi dan sinyal pembawa 8-bit dari mikrokontroler diubah menjadi sinyal analog dengan jaringan ladder resistor R-2R. Modulasi sinyal referensi dan sinyal pembawa dilakukan dengan menggunakan Op-Amp LM311. Hasil modulasi menghasilkan sinyal PWM sebagai sinyal kendali komponen utama multilevel inverter satu fasa dengan pendekatan lima tingkat. Hasil yang didapat telah berhasil merancang pembangkit sinyal SPWM untuk multilevel inverter satu fasa lima tingkat berbasis mikrokontroler ATmega32. Pemrograman mikrokontroler telah berhasil membangkitkan sinyal sinus dan segitiga, serta memperoleh sinyal PWM melalui rangkaian pembanding (komparator).

Teknologi Inverter telah berkembang pesat dan banyak digunakan dalam berbagai aplikasi industri serta komersil. Salah satu pengembangan dari inverter yaitu pada gelombang keluaran yang saat ini disebut Multilevel Inverter (MLI). MLI dapat mengurangi beban pada masing-masing komponen switching dikarenakan gelombang pembangkit memiliki frekuensi rendah dan mampu menghasilkan tingkat tegangan menyerupai tegangan AC dengan keluaran yang diinginkan. Untuk melengkapi informasi yang ada tentang MLI, maka pada penelitian ini dilakukan pensimulasian MLI tiga fasa. Pada penelitian ini MLI tiga fasa dalam pensimulasiannya menggunakan perangkat lunak yaitu MATLAB/Simulink. Topologi MLI yang digunakan Neutral Point Clamped (NPC) serta metode Phase Disposition Pulse Width Modulation (PDPWM) untuk mendapatkan keluaran berupa gelombang hasil modulasi dan tegangan AC yang menyerupai bentuk gelombang sinus. Pada penelitian ini telah berhasil mensimulasikan rangkaian MLI NPC tiga fasa. Berdasakan proses pembentukan gelombang tegangan keluaran, didapatkan perbedaan level gelombang bertingkat yang dihasilkan. Gelombang tegangan AC yang dihasilkan dengan proses pembentukan per fasa dengan menghasilkan 3 level gelombang bertingkat. Gelombang tegangan AC yang dihasilkan pada proses pembentukan tegangan antar fasa memiliki 5 level gelombang bertingkat.

PLTH Bayu Baru is one of the hybrid power plants (HPP) located in Baru beach, Pandansimo, Bantul, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. It generates electrical energy from two sources, wind and solar energy. However, a problem is encountered regarding wind turbine mechanics due to using a manual switch for braking during periods of excessive wind speed. This study proposes an automatic wind turbine braking system through a utilized fuzzy logic controller (FLC) for the PLTH Bayu Baru application. The Mamdani type FLC without complex mathematical models is applied to the Arduino Uno development board to realize the proposed systems. The error (Error_V) and delta error (dError_V) values from the generator voltage sensor become the input of the proposed systems, while the pulse width modulation (PWM) becomes the output for controlling the on/off period of the MOSFET as switching devices. The proposed systems have been tested on a micro-scale wind turbine with PMSG 12V/400W type. From the testing results, the proposed system successfully braked automatically at the point wherein the generator voltage exceeds the setpoint value. Also, the proposed system keeps the generator voltage less than 13.8V, so the problem caused by excessive speed can be resolved.

By developing research and academic centers, the number of performed research articles has also increased. On the other hand, publishing the results of these articles in scientific journals shall also grow. In the meantime, researchers are trying to publish the findings of their research in journals which have been approved by one or more international indices so that such findings can be seen. In order to enhance the academic standards of Universities, proper journal choice will be of interest to researchers, especially those that are indexed in websites such as Thomson Reuters. However, certain forgery frauds researchers by launching fake Web sites that have been named by academic journal titles. In this paper, we introduce an approach to identify this type of journals that will be applicable by researchers in various academic disciplines.

Top 50 authors in the Science and Technology Index (SINTA) is become popular as Indonesian top 50 ranking scientists to measure both the productivity and quality of the publications. Unfortunately, to get a high ranking in SINTA, some authors are strongly indicated that they do instant and unfair ways through citation cartels or self-citation. Based on manual investigation, excessive self-citations are conducted through publication in international conference. This paper proposed a simple way to drop abuse of excessive self-citations by categorized research articles as main publication and others as secondary publication based on Scopus database. This method is proposed to avoid perverse and unintended effects on the direction of research and publication in Indonesia.

The flavivirus epidemiology has reached an alarming rate which haunts the world population including Malaysia. In fact, World Health Organization has proposed and practised many methods of vector control through environmental management, chemical and biological orientations but still cannot fully overcome the problem. This paper proposed a detection of Aedes Aegypti larvae in water storage tank using Single Shot Multibox Detector with transfer learning. The objective of the study was to acquire the training and the performance metrics of the detection. The detection was done using SSD with Inception_V2 through transfer learning. The experimental results revealed that the probability detection scored more than 80% accuracies and there was no false alarm. These results demonstrate the effectiveness of the model approach.

This paper presents design and simulation of wideband power amplifier based on multi-section Wilkinson power divider. Class-A topology and ATF-511P8 transistor have been used. Advanced Design System (ADS) software used to simulate the designed power amplifier. The simulation results show an input return loss (S11)<-10dB, gain (S21)>10 dB over the entire bandwidth, and an output power around 28dBm at the Centre frequency of 3GHz. The designed amplifier is stable over the entire bandwidth (K>1). Inter-modulation distortion is -65.187dBc which is less than -50dBc. The designed amplifier can be used for the microwave applications which include weather radar, satellite communication, wireless networking, mobile, and TV.

In recent years, Augmented Reality (AR) has received increasing emphasis and researchers gradually promote it Over the worlds. With the unique abilities to generate virtual objects over the real-world environment, it can enhance user perception. Although AR recognised for their enormous positive impacts, there are still a ton of matters waiting to be discovered. Research studies on AR toward conceptual change, specifically in scientific concept, are particularly limited. Therefore, this research aims to investigate the effect of integrating AR on conceptual change in scientific concepts. Thirty-four primary school students participated in the study. A pre-test and post-test were used to assess participants’ understanding of the scientific concepts before and after learning through AR. The findings demonstrated that 82% among them had misconceptions about the scientific concepts before learning through AR. However, most of them (around 88%) able to correct their misconceptions and shifted to have a scientific conceptual understanding after learning through AR. These findings indicate that AR was effective to be integrated into education to facilitate conceptual change.

The development of computer networks today has increased rapidly. This can be seen based on the trend of computer users around the world, whereby they need to connect their computer to the Internet. This shows that the use of Internet networks is very important, whether for work purposes or access to social media accounts. However, in widely using this computer network, the privacy of computer users is in danger, especially for computer users who do not install security systems in their computer. This problem will allow hackers to hack and commit network attacks. This is very dangerous, especially for Internet users because hackers can steal confidential information such as bank login account or social media login account. The attacks that can be made include phishing attacks. The goal of this study is to review the types of phishing attacks and current methods used in preventing them. Based on the literature, the machine learning method is widely used to prevent phishing attacks. There are several algorithms that can be used in the machine learning method to prevent these attacks. This study focused on an algorithm that was thoroughly made and the methods in implementing this algorithm are discussed in detail.
