Abstract

This study develops a hybrid-powered IoT multi-sensor system integrated with machine learning for sugarcane monitoring in Mojokerto. Four sensors—soil moisture, pH, LM35 temperature, and LDR light—are connected to an Arduino UNO R4 WiFi microcontroller. A hybrid power supply (mains electricity and solar panels) and dual data storage (real-time transmission to Google Sheets and local SD backup) ensure resilience and reliability under field conditions. Sensor data are normalized and smoothed prior to analysis using K-Means clustering to map environmental states and a Random Forest classifier to predict crop health. Field validation demonstrates soil moisture as the most influential parameter, followed by temperature, pH, and light intensity. The Random Forest model achieved 93.01% accuracy, 93.88% precision, 99.02% recall, and a 96.38% F1-score on held-out data. By combining hybrid power, multi-sensor integration, dual storage, and machine learning, the system provides robust, data-informed monitoring that supports timely irrigation and management decisions in sugarcane cultivation.

Abstract

Personal data has become a highly valuable asset in the digital era. The background of this research is the urgent need to raise awareness in the digital era about the importance of protecting digital education certificate. The purpose of this research is to analyze the integration of blockchain technology with cryptographic algorithms for the secure storage and verification of digital education certificates. The methodology follows the Prisma framework, which is carried out through four systematic stages: formulating research question, preparation research protocol, identification of records from four major databases (Google Scholar, IEEE, Springer, and MDPI) published between 2023 and 2026, screening of titles and abstracts to eliminate duplicate and irrelevant studies, eligibility assessment through full-text review based on predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria, data extraction and validation for qualitative synthesis, and finally of 21 papers for analysis result, conclusion, limitation of research, research gap and novelty. The findings demonstrate that storage efficiency, verification speed, encryption diversity, fraud prevention and identity standards. The conclusion of this study is that a collaborative framework integrating blockchain with cryptographic techniques for the security and verification of digital education certificates, with a robust process, can create a robust and adaptive system against certificate forgery. This study provides conceptual and practical knowledge for developing a more comprehensive education certificate security framework.

Abstract

Multi-path communication channels provide a realistic representation of transmitter-receiver communication in practical propagation environments. This work investigates uplink (UL) multi-path channel estimation (CE) in a massive multiple-input multiple-output (M-MIMO) multi-cell multi-user system, where each user communicates with its serving base station (BS) through a multi-path channel. The network operates using time-division duplex (TDD), exploiting channel reciprocity between the uplink and downlink. The impact of multi path propagation on CE is analyzed using two approaches: the ideal minimum mean square error (MMSE) estimator and a proposed simplified estimator. The MMSE estimator assumes prior knowledge of the large-scale fading (LSF) coefficients of interfering users, which is impractical in real systems. To overcome this limitation, a simplified estimator is proposed that does not require such information while achieving asymptotic performance close to that of the MMSE estimator. Realistic propagation scenarios are also considered, where channels may include either non-line-of-sight (NLoS) components or a combination of line-of-sight (LoS) and NLoS paths depending on the user’s distance from the BS. Furthermore, a heuristic power control strategy is introduced to mitigate pilot contamination, particularly for cell-edge users, thereby reducing inter-cell interference and improving overall system performance. Analytical and simulation results validate the proposed approach.

Abstract

The fast growth of artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and automation is changing research and business in many fields. This issue has 76 new pieces of research that show new ways to use technology and new ways to accomplish things in healthcare, communication networks, smart energy, farming, and industrial automation. Deep learning and hybrid AI models improve disease identification, medical picture segmentation, and patient monitoring in healthcare, focusing on both accuracy and ease of understanding. In communication and the IoT, contributions include smart resource allocation for 5G and 6G networks, spectrum sensing, and cybersecurity frameworks that deal with efficiency, latency, and resilience in connected environments. AI and the IoT are important for sustainability and city planning. For example, smart energy management, predicting the weather in greenhouses, and using drones to monitor traffic are all examples of this. Also, the development of autonomous guided cars and Industry 5.0 automation shows how intelligent systems can be used in industrial operations. These works show how AI, IoT, and automation are coming together and how they could change the way people operate, make decisions, and solve problems in many fields. This issue shows how important it is to use ideas from many fields to drive the next generation of smart innovation

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that affects children’s physical and cognitive growth. In Indonesia, the prevalence of stunting remains relatively high, although it has shown a declining trend. The contributing factors to stunting include parenting practices, nutritional intake, and food access. This community service program aims to improve the understanding of pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and young families about the importance of balanced nutrition, exclusive breastfeeding, and healthy complementary feeding (MP-ASI) as an effort to prevent stunting. Educational activities were conducted for 13 mothers of toddlers in Padukuhan Magirejo, using visual media, counseling sessions at the Posyandu, and leaflet distribution. Knowledge was measured through pretest and posttest questionnaires. The results indicated an increase in participants’ knowledge and commitment to better nutritional practices. Early intervention through this educational program is expected to contribute to reducing stunting cases.

Abstract

Outlier detection is a critical task in informatics, particularly for analyzing large, complex datasets such as electrical energy consumption records. Identifying anomalies enables the recognition of abnormal usage patterns and potential non-technical losses, which are essential for ensuring reliability and efficiency in innovative grid systems. However, conventional supervised learning approaches are often unsuitable due to the unlabeled and imbalanced nature of real-world consumption data. To address the challenge of validating unsupervised models without ground truth, this study utilizes a controlled synthetic dataset with precise anomaly injection. This approach allows for a rigorous comparative evaluation of two widely adopted algorithms, Isolation Forest and One-Class Support Vector Machine (OC-SVM). The analysis examines detection accuracy, F1-score, and computational efficiency under identical experimental conditions. Results demonstrate that Isolation Forest consistently achieves superior performance, attaining a Detection Accuracy of 0.9948 and an F1-Score of 0.9478, significantly outperforming OC-SVM, which yielded an accuracy of 0.9521 and an F1-Score of only 0.5108. Furthermore, Isolation Forest proved to be exceptionally efficient, requiring only 0.9207 seconds for computation approximately 21 times faster than OC-SVM (19.9460 seconds). These advantages highlight its scalability and suitability for large-scale, near-real-time monitoring applications. Overall, the findings provide empirical evidence of Isolation Forest's effectiveness and offer practical guidance on algorithm selection for intelligent grid analytics

Abstract

Electric vehicles (EVs) play an important role in the transition to sustainable energy systems, but their success relies heavily on efficient, safe, and adaptive charging systems. The Constant Current Constant Voltage (CCCV) method has become a key strategy in lithium-ion battery charging due to its ability to maintain voltage stability, prevent overcharging, and extend battery life. This paper is a review article that presents a conceptual analysis of CCCV-based EV charging controller systems without involving experiments or simulations. The study synthesizes the current literature to examine the integration of CCCV with Battery Management Systems (BMS), Solid-State Transformers (SST), artificial intelligence (AI), and intelligent grid infrastructure. The novelty of this paper lies in a holistic approach that links the strategies of charge control, power electronics, energy management, and grid stability areas that are often discussed separately. A structured taxonomy and comparative analysis are presented to identify technical challenges, research gaps, and the direction of development of adaptive and AI-based EV charging systems. This review confirms that CCCV remains the main foundation of EV charging, whose performance can be significantly improved through the integration of smart technology and modern grids.

Abstract

Electrical engineering is entering a transformative era in which autonomous intelligence is becoming an integral component of modern energy infrastructures rather than merely an auxiliary computational tool. The convergence of advanced power electronics, renewable energy technologies, intelligent sensing, edge computing, artificial intelligence, and high-speed communications is enabling electrical systems to evolve from passive and centrally controlled networks into adaptive, resilient, and self-evolving ecosystems. This editorial discusses the emerging paradigm of autonomous electrical engineering, where future power systems are expected to perceive operating conditions, learn from historical and real-time data, predict disturbances, and autonomously optimize their performance while maintaining reliability, security, and sustainability. Beyond conventional objectives such as efficiency and stability, next-generation electrical systems must address increasing renewable penetration, distributed energy resources, electrified transportation, cyber-physical security, and climate resilience. The editorial also highlights several promising research directions, including AI native power system operation, autonomous microgrids, digital twins, physics-informed intelligence, trustworthy and explainable AI, intelligent power electronic converters, and coordinated human–AI decision-making. These developments position electrical engineering as a foundational discipline for achieving sustainable development and future energy transition, while emphasizing that autonomous intelligence should augment engineering expertise to create safer, more reliable, and environmentally responsible electrical infrastructures.
