Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile (P5) Project at SD Negeri 79 Bengkulu City and identify factors that support and hinder its success. P5 is part of the Independent Curriculum which emphasizes project-based learning to build 21st century character and skills in students. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the application of the project-based learning model in P5 increases students' active participation, understanding of concepts, as well as critical and collaborative thinking skills. Students become more motivated in learning, more active in discussions, and more independent in completing assignments. In addition, the results of academic evaluations show an increase in understanding of concepts by 20% compared to before implementing this model. However, there are several obstacles in implementing P5, such as limited time, teacher readiness in designing projects, and limited facility support. By understanding the factors that influence the success of this program, it is hoped that this research can provide recommendations for educators and policy makers to optimize the implementation of P5 in elementary schools. This innovative learning model has the potential to be a solution in increasing the effectiveness of character-based education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims at examining the variety of understanding and implementation of sufistic values among elite members of Islamic mainstream organizations, namely Muhammadiyah and Nahdlatul Ulama, in South Sumatra. It uses a field research method and a descriptive-qualitative analysis. This research finds that elite members of two mainstream Islamic organizations in South Sumatra similarly consider the importance of sufistic values, such as faqr, sabr, tawakkal, ikhlas, and ihsan, for perfecting the self. However, they have differed in how these values are implemented. If the former comfortably practices the substantive forms of sufistic teachings, the latter tends to observe sufistic teachings via the route of tarekat (sufi orders).  Such difference has led to the variety of Islamic practices and dakwah programs organized by both organizations.

The results of this study are learning strategies are very important, in fact, the strategy is one of the first that must be considered and prepared so that learning can run effectively and efficiently as well as more interesting. To overcome some of the inhibiting factors that teachers find in the classroom, there are several things that teachers do to overcome them. In implementing learning strategies, teachers often encounter obstacles such as a lack of facilities and infrastructure. The solution to avoid this is by providing other options such as creating their own learning media, changing learning strategies that can be understood by students. Teachers always adjust the strategies used with existing facilities and continue to innovate despite the limitations of these facilities. The point is never to make an obstacle to not doing something new.
